4.1 spoilers
So just as I said, Lyney is unstable without his sibling. He loses all composure when they're in trouble. He also tends to blame himself a lot.
Arlecchino seems to show.... I'm not sure the correct word. Exasperation? At Lyney's inability to rely on his siblings but also her.
Neuvillette said that in our travels, we have met "others of his kind." I'm not sure if he means dragons or dragon sovereigns. If he means the latter, I wonder who else we met that's a dragon sovereign other than Apep
Wriothesley just seems like Some Guy. A nice dude, in all honesty.
Honestly the outcome of the whole prison infiltration is a bit disappointing. Once again, everyone is a good guy, even Arlecchino. Everyone is looking out for the welfare of others, even if they are on the opposite side. It's not like I want any canon characters to die, but at least let them face the consequences of their actions.
I like the vibe between Wriothesley, Clorinde, and Neuvillette. They seem like good pals
I can't link bc I'm on browser mobile, but this is Neuvillette: https://youtu.be/4ZK8Z8hulFg?si=ERwHjrk4x8nRLIET
Arlecchino does seem to genuinely care about Fontaine and its people and the prophecy. Which is.... not what I expected.

Just After Midnight: Rewind Runners-Up ~
Our runners-up for this week are @corporalotherbear, @curiooftheheart and @stupidstupidratcreatures!
@corporalotherbear — The First Turnabout
I don't think you fully understand how fortunate you are that I've recently watched a playthrough of Phoenix Wright's Adventures in Lawyerdom. As someone who famously(ish) does not play many video games despite thinking they're pretty neato, this card hit a chord. Again, in any other kind of week or time of life, I would have no idea what this card was supposed to represent, but here we are instead: Larry's girlfriend gets murdered, a suspect is detained, and then each clue that you crack makes your lawyer-ing more powerful.
I'm just going to assume that that's how it's supposed to be interpreted, but regardless—that's something that I know makes these contests hard: just how much one would or would not know about the IP in question. Maybe it's fortune. Maybe it's just how well-known the property is. God knows that even for the Doctor Who stuff I was absolutely lost despite being a Tennant fanboy for a good amount of time. I still have my opinions about Universes Beyond and whatever, but how can I look at a card like this, feel the pinging sense of pleased recognition, and not give it some kind of commendable back-pat?
@curiooftheheart — Letar, Honeyhunter
J'accuse, a situation! Honey badger don't give a Hornet's Sting about what it takes to get that sweet sweet card advantage. Looking at the current partners, I think that this lil' thing can really go with anyone. That Phyrexian golem-guy is pretty neat, although not...perfect? I don't know, but the design is still fun. It encourages attacking, it encourages graveyard shenanigans, and that's the gist. Partners shouldn't feel overpowered, nor should they be combolicious. The sweet spot of having a cute honey-snuffling creature that results in fun limited (slash constructed?) design is fun for sure.
We run into the small bugbear that, out of the two partners designed for this big rewind contest, this one feels a little less specific of the two, or at least I'm not thinking about the nuances as much. Is that really more of a 'me' thing? Probably. This card's really fun, certainly, and as far as commander designs go this shows a significant amount of restraint. Rare partners have the unfortunate position of being pushed by nature. With Letar, hunting honey isn't half as crazy as it could be. I respect that; I don't think it needs anything changed, except maybe a "the" before Honeyhunter.
@stupidstupidratcreatures — Starveling Nest
I want flavor text here just for the heck of it—and actually, question, do you play Arena? This is mostly rhetorical because it's commentary and you can't respond in real-time but all the same. The name and the description have this quality where it feels like the flavor text could be hovering to the side. We're in the paper realm here, but the power with which you've made this sacrificing ability is neat-o all the same. I can feel the squirming, squeaking mass of emaciated rats that have no cuddly counterparts. Just all hunger, all bones and flesh, not even meat, writing blindly in search of food.
Bitterblossom effects are, as we know, still absolutely stellar no matter how or where you play them. The fact that this one gives you bodies with card advantage blows my mind. I actually don't know if this card is too powerful but I'd have to see a limited game with it first to be sure, and I'm going to go on the side that this is just barely too powerful even for contemporary MTG standards. Maybe I'm overthinking this. Maybe I'm also considering that a difficult-to-remove effect like this makes everything a bit unbalanced. Digging through your deck is always good, and at the cost of instant-speed Rats that come back, well, you already know. But I truly love it, and I love the imagination that went into this trigger idea.
Commentary to come! Thank you all for your entries. @abelzumi

Note
The whole Windblume festival got leaked on HoneyHunter and I'm not spoiling anything but it was so disappointing. It was basically just Collei 90% of the time. I swear Hoyo hates Mondstadt along with Inazuma.
Playing only for the Primos time.

The Honey Hunters of the Himalayas - photo. ©Eric Valli
Taken in full from (and you'll find more photos) here.
Honey Hunters is one of Eric’s earliest prize-winning stories, awarded first prize at the World Press in 1987. Over twenty years later, the images are no less powerful and relevant in reminding us of a world unknown outside our own.
The ancient art of honey hunting is as spiritual as it is technical, but perhaps you are wondering first and foremost how on earth these men manage to collect honey off the side of a cliff.
Most of the tools and equipment used in the honey hunting evolved locally and is made of local materials like mountain bamboo and bamboo-based fiber materials (no aluminum carabiners here).
At the base of the rock a fire is made from wood and foliage, so that the smoke rise to disperse the bees upwards leaving. A ladder is suspended from the top of the cliff, tightly secured to trees at both upper and lower ends. The honey hunter is fastened to the ladder by a rope and descends the rope ladder while others at the top of the cliff make sure that he is held securely. Two to three persons are involved, responsible for checking, raising and lowering the rope to send items down from above and pull items up from the floor.
When the honey hunter gets near the nest to be harvested, he uses a long stick to balance the collecting basket exactly under the comb. The honey hunter uses a bamboo stick to pierce a hole in the brood comb area of the colony to be harvested, all the while fighting off angry territorial bees. Wooden or iron sickles fixed to the bamboo stick are used to cut the honeycombs. The basket is guided to catch the chunks of honey as they drop down. It can take 2-3 hours or more just to harvest one of the many colonies.
Cultural and spiritual practices carried out prior to hunting honey can vary from community to community.
Honey hunters believe that there are two gods in the forest i.e. local god, who looks after local events and the real god of cliff. Worshiping of these gods is mandatory by sacrificing, goat, sheep or chicken for giving blood in the name of god.
Valli followed a few honey hunting communities, including jungle nomads of the Himalays who hunted in the trees of the foothills.
Women are not usually even allowed to watch their men honey-hunt in certain communities. They have to stay quite far from the cliff site or the trees. It is believed that if they participate then the bees will be very aggressive.
Nor can a honey hunter can join the hunting team if his wife is menstruating or over pregnant.
As decades go by, honey hunting becomes a dying art mostly because the original hunters are dying off. Passed on from fathers to sons, the new generation is less interesting in adopting the profession due to the risks and limited income it offers.
But it’s not only the hunters that are dying off but also the bees themselves. The Apis laboriosa bee population in the area is declining because of significant decline in wilderness, increase in soil erosion and landslides caused by road and tourist track construction.
Indeed there is one new source of income for the honey hunters which comes in the form of a fast-growing tourism industry in Nepal. The practice attracts a lot of tourists looking to experience honey hunting in the hills of Himalayas and are willing to pay US$ 250-1500to experience the events.
