Eleven months with Briggs. He’s got three crawl styles for all types of terrain scoot, knees and bear. He added nigh-night and nana to his words (when he says nigh-night at the end of his book it’s just💓). He loves food, lots of it. He can move to a sit up by himself. He loves all water sports. He wants to pick everyone’s noses and give his open mouthed kisses. He still sucks his thumb and gives mama the best cuddles when he’s tired. TEN. Double digits. Briggs has now been outside longer than inside😂. From 9-10 months Briggs is now on the go but with nowhere to go #quarantine #fucovid19. He’s scooting/army crawling all over the house. He’s chirping up a storm saying Mama, Baaaa, Dada. He can’t stop clapping and smiling. He’s super ticklish and just generally so excited. Briggles is out of his bath seat and partakes in the clown show that we call bath time with lots of stiff arms for brother bear. He loves to eat more than nurse. Briggles turned nine months! From 8-9 months he started scooting backward, he sprouted two new front teeth, he traveled to Chicago and Cali and became obsessed with clapping. Briggles turned eight months and he is just DELISH. He’s eating up a storm, anything we eat he’s got to have it. He went to the mountains and took his first wild sled ride (oops Mama). He’s sitting up so well and trying so hard to crawl. He loves music and basically all people. He slept and grew a lot from 7-8 months. He does not like getting his upper teeth. We die over you on a daily basis. I love watching you grow but time is such a thief. Please always give me big kisses, sing to me and snuggle your head into me shirt. I live for that. Baby Briggs turned SEVEN months. He celebrated with a lot of firsts. First Christmas, first word “Dada” (break my Mama 💔) first food (banana), first snow❄️, first time sleeping alone in his own room and nailing the sit up position. He’s slowly learning to eat on his own (not into the purée thing) and is so proud to be sitting up and talking. All of a sudden he’s become so ticklish and can rival brother Ted in the giggles department. You will always be my baby and I want you back in my room because I miss your sweet sleeping sounds. Briggs is 1/2 way to one. Six months has flown by with this golden hair babe. He sprouted two new teeth (see the first picture), is working on sitting up, loves a warm bath, gives the dreamiest and drooliest open mouthed kisses. Lately he is finding his brothers antics absolutely hilarious while his sister can always calm him with her lullabies. We started calling him Briggles because he loves to wiggle. He will always give you a big grin (for this reason he is the easiest baby to take pictures of and it’s impossible to pick just one) and he pulls you in for the best snuggle hugs. He fills our buckets and I want to bottle him up just like this. Happy FIVE months Briggsy! Mr. Blue eyes has started to reach up for hugs and it’s EVERYTHING. You can now prop your self to sit up. You belly laugh at your siblings, you love to make big splashes in the bath, you demand to join us at the dinner table, and this month you’ve been to four pumpkin patches and put up with all our costumes. The way you smile and search for me in a room, your silky soft hair (which has grown a few inches!), your sweet smell, chunky legs and furrowed brow, how you are so curious and observant, and then excited and proud to stand on your two feet, the loud squeaky sighs you make when you nurse, how you want to be in the action, how you suck your thumb when you are tired, the way you look up at me in the carrier to check I’m there and your dreamy profile. Briggs is three months! He just started giggling, and it is the most incredible thing. He loves to eat his hands, and now loves the bath, he’s talking up a storm, sleeping at night🙏🏻, and he still is my best cuddle partner. He is a tough cookie when his siblings love hard. Happy TWO months Briggs! Briggs is smiling, and those smiles will melt you to the core. He is also babbling and cooing and it’s the cutest ever. He’s still warming to bath time and sleeping at night. We added two more items to his year collage, his first flight and solo trip with Mama and Dada to Marianne’s wedding and meeting the urbanfam. And second, his visit with Grammie, Nonno, Gigi and Papa and his first ferry ride.
