Or like other poor service like announcing hiatus/critical events on your social media. You’re running a business if you regularly take commissions, not a social club!
#artists and writers both#ive had a writer run off with over 150 usd#and im like? why did i find out you’re going on hiatus from your twitter?#we had dms set up#like even then how would I even approach that if your wife has cancer???#like if i went back then to that time I would have demanded full refunds#simply because that’s unacceptable as a client#im fine with waiting and suchband clear life issues like that but literal radio silence#if you can’t fulfill the contract its a return the money situstion#honestly why im less likely to comm new artists and writers now (or writers ingeneral)#unless there’s an invoice or clear portfolios shown
