I don’t know about you, but my headcannon is Lance and Wallace bother Steven too much. It started with Wallace first. Wallace would occasionally steal some of Steven’s rocks from his rock collection. This slowly evolves into Wallace (trying) to indoctrinate others to join others. The only one is Lance because Clair is too easy to annoy. Lance just teases Steven, kinda like a big brother/younger brother relationship.

Also, I like to think Lance and Wallace teach Steven about menstrual cycles when Steven complains about Cynthia. I should have started this one by saying I’m a darksteelshipper.

Steven: so... you’re telling me all women have to deal with this?

Lance and Wallace, simutaneously: yes.

Steven: 😐😑😐 im so dead.

Lance: yes you are.

Wallace just pats him on the back and shakes his head while his milotic gives Steven pads.

Also, Steven is just confused when Lance and Wallace scrutinize Leon’s cape.

After that, Steven witnesses Clair on her period and is afraid. He looks over to Lance (and hides behind him), and Lance is just completely deadpan. Steven watches Lance lock Clair in her room. Steven asks Lance why he does it. Lance sarcastically asks whether Steven would like to go in there. It’s similar with Wallace and Lisia except Wallace just gives Lisia snacks.
