Bw 74.3 One of my big challenges is to conquer asymmetry. I bet everyone has seen uneven bar path when bench pressing. Say left hand has locked out while right hand is still pressing. That say the right hand is weaker. Many years I believed that. Now I’m trying to vindicate the unjustly accused the right hand and find out the real culprit. A #powerlifting #workout Have you ever had a dream you were in the gym? Is the strength the aquired (developed) quality or the inherited one? Sometimes (frequently) I feel ashamed. How little I know my body. Actually, I know next to nothing about it. Do we know how our stomach digest the food? It just does the job perfectly leaving his totally unaware. I guess a person with weak digestion system knows much more about digestion than a person with perfect health. I guess the same is applied to powerlifing. The weaker the body the more the mind has to get control of everthing. A powerlifting workout What would we call a good training session? PR is great barring the fact that you can't PR each session. Shuould the session w/o PR be dull and boring routine? I think each session should be inspiring, otherwise it is ineffective and hardly productive. I guess we somehow should convince ourselves that the polishing the technique on 70-80% load is as exciting/necessary as PRs. BTW, plethora of lifts of good form roots the goot neuro-muscular patter. An PR attempt may break that patters and make the situation worse if they are many. Thay say that the uneven bar path during say bench press caused by a weaker arm (left or right). I think it is a misconcepiton. Hardly anyone can name all the muscles working in the body duing good bench press. Improving the technique is vital. The result is seen over a very long period. IMHO , someone can work on his technique even if he is a genetically deprived. Strength work is quite the opposite.
