Pantas HRC Mengontrak Marc Marquez 4 Tahun
Pantas HRC Mengontrak Marc Marquez 4 Tahun
motogokil.com – Assalamu’alaikum wa rochmatullohi wabarokatuh, semoga kita semua selamat di perjalanan sampai ke tujuan. Balapan motogp jepang kemarin, sebenarnya berlangsung kurang seru. Karena yang bersaing di depan bukan kandidat juara dunia tahun 2022 ini, seperti quartararo, bagnaia, aleix espargaro atau bastianini. Mereka yang di depan adalah para pembalap yang poinnya jauh dari pemuncak…

Marc Marquez had just completed the first round of the MotoGP race at Mugello, leaving the crowd roaring with excitement. His Honda RC213V performed flawlessly, and Marc felt the adrenaline coursing through his veins. The race had been intense, but he was confident about his chances in the next round. As he walked back to the paddock, he felt a sudden urge to visit the restroom.
Tumblr media
Marc slipped away from the crowds and entered the secluded bathroom area behind the pits. The noise of the roaring engines and cheering fans faded as he stepped into the quiet, dimly lit restroom. He was just about to close the stall door when a figure in a pit stop worker's uniform suddenly appeared behind him.
"Sorry, Marc," the worker muttered.
Before Marc could react, he felt a sharp prick in his neck. His vision blurred as he turned to see the worker holding an empty syringe. Marc's knees buckled, and he collapsed to the floor, the world around him turning dark.
When he came to, Marc found himself tied up, his mouth gagged. He was still in the restroom, but his racing gear was missing. The pit stop worker was standing above him, holding a strange scanning device that emitted a soft blue glow. The worker’s appearance began to shift, morphing before Marc’s eyes. In moments, the worker's face transformed into an exact replica of Marc’s own. The imposter smiled, a chilling mirror image.
The fake Marc then methodically began putting on Marc's racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet, each piece fitting perfectly as if custom-made for him. Marc struggled against his bonds, trying to shout through the gag, but it was no use. The imposter had planned everything meticulously.
Tumblr media
"Don't worry, Marc," the imposter said, adjusting the helmet visor. "I'll take good care of your motorcycle. And your life."
With a final glance at the real Marc, the imposter left the restroom, leaving Marc tied up and hidden in the stall. Marc could hear the distant roar of the engines starting up again, signaling the beginning of the next round. Panic surged through him as he realized the enormity of what was happening. An imposter was out there, pretending to be him, racing under his name.
Suddenly, Marc heard footsteps approaching the restroom again. Hope surged within him, thinking someone had noticed his absence. But as the door opened, his heart sank. Three men entered, their expressions cold and determined. They were dressed like pit crew, but Marc didn’t recognize them.
One of them, a tall man with a scar across his cheek, sneered down at Marc. “Looks like the boss was right. He said you’d be here.”
The men quickly untied Marc, only to bind his wrists and ankles even more securely. Marc thrashed and tried to yell through the gag, but it was futile. They hoisted him up, carrying him out of the restroom.
Marc was dragged through a series of back corridors, away from the bustling paddock area. They finally reached a storage room at the far end of the complex. It was dim and cluttered with old equipment. The men shoved Marc into a metal chair and tied him securely, making sure he couldn’t move.
“Make sure he stays quiet,” the scarred man ordered one of the others, who immediately produced a roll of duct tape, silencing Marc further.
Satisfied with their work, the men stepped back. “The boss said to make sure no one finds him,” the scarred man said, casting a final glance at Marc. “He’s got big plans, and there’s no room for two Marc Marquezes.”
With that, they left, locking the door behind them. Marc was left in the dark, his mind racing. The realization hit him hard: the imposter had allies, and they were intent on making sure the real Marc Marquez never resurfaced.
Out on the track, the fake Marc continued the race, flawlessly mimicking Marc’s style and movements. To the outside world, nothing seemed amiss. The crowd cheered as “Marc” sped off, ready to dominate the next round.

Why Fabio chose to stay at Yamaha
Or why the Devil still wears Yamaha. You know it’s getting serious when I bother putting caps on a Tumblr post. I have to admit this is largely self-interested as I try to put some order into my thoughts. Putting this under read more because this is very long (probably too much).
The reasons why:
The factory team. Perhaps the most important, as I think Fabio wouldn’t have settled for anything less. He’s in a state of mind where, at this stage of his career, going back to a satellite team would means defeat. So this already eliminates the best bikes of the grid, as factory Ducati have three Ducati riders lining up to be Bagnaia’s teammate, and as KTM will most likely have Binder and Acosta on their factory bikes next year. You could make a point for a Pramac seat, as it’s “almost” a factory seat, but Pramac has already made it clear they want to have a junior team and grow talents there by signing Aldeguer for two years. Fabio is still young, but he’s an experienced MotoGP rider. And as I said before, I don’t think he would accept being anything else than Pecco’s teammate. So what is left? Honda but the point is to go to a better sorted bike, which the RC213V clearly is not. Already the only option left is Aprilia.
The Aprilia option. This is assuming Aprilia offered Fabio a factory seat, which might not even have happened. Aleix keeps telling everyone he doesn’t want to retire yet, and Aprilia look like they want to keep Maverick. So what if Aprilia only offered a factory bike in their satellite team? If so, see point one. The thing is, I think Fabio did receive a factory offer from Aprilia, and there are two main factors to consider. First, the inconsistency and unreliability of the Aprilia bike. It’s no secret to anyone, the Aprilia suffers from technical issues every race weekend, and often prevents riders from bagging points on race day. It’s been an ongoing issue for years, and for now, there is no sign of actual improvement on this matter. The Aprilia is also inconsistent depending on the race track, though I think it's a lesser problem as Aprilia have sort of improved there, and the right rider can make up for this weak point. This first factor is strongly correlated to the second, which is money. According to early reports, Aprilia’s offer was 4 millions per year while Yamaha’s was the TRIPLE of that number. Now, if this offer was coming from factory Ducati instead of Aprilia, I think Fabio would have jumped ship, because the Ducati is a proven championship winning bike. But the Aprilia? Why would you turn down that much down money to go to a bike that keeps having critical failures? No matter how good of a rider you have, if your engine goes bop, there is nothing you can do about it. Maybe Aprilia will manage to sort out this problem, but maybe they won’t, and you would have turned down a huge load of money for a few race wins a year. Wins are good, but nothing compared to a championship. Riders’ careers are short and come with very high risks, so making as much money as you can in short periods of time is critical.
Last main reason is the timing. Yamaha is FINALLY making ACTUAL changes in the way they operate after years of riders complaining about the slow or non existent development, Fabio being the most vocal about it. F1 motorist Marmorini is two years in working on the engine, and Yamaha have finally decided to get some key players and hired Ducati’s ex number two Bartolini (for who Fabio had only praises after working with him for a few days) along with former Ducati aerodynamicist Nicotra. They are apparently working closely with an Italian aerodynamics company, have started a partnership with a 3D printing company and are basically strengthening the operations of the brand’s base in Italy. Does all of this come so fucking late? For sure, and Yamaha is paying the price for their complacency. It’s too early for these recent changes to bear their fruits on the track, so could Fabio have left now after finally getting what he asked, without ever seeing what these changes could have led to? He could have, sure. I think he would have if it meant switching for a factory Ducati, but the only option was Aprilia and it’s a less sexy option. See point two.
Bonus reason: sponsors. I think Monster Energy played a part. Monster sponsors many riders in MotoGP, but Fabio is their guy. He is the number 1 in the team for which they are the title sponsor. They wouldn't let him go that easily.
The gloomy part now, the reasons why there is doubt to have about this renewal (I won't elaborate as much because I don’t want to get depressed):
Yamaha is Yamaha… Disappointing fans since 2016 (minus 2021).
The il4 engine problem. With Suzuki gone, the il4 is yet to show how it can be competitive in this heavy aero era of these last few years. Maybe it has reached its peak and bears too many disadvantages compared to the v4. Then Yamaha will have to wait and pray for the 2027 new regulations to be more favorable…
This renewal doesn’t make sense if Fabio doesn’t plan to stick with Yamaha for the new 2027 regulations. He will help develop the new 850cc bike, and if the development doesn’t go completely awry, why would he leave then?
Fabio will not be able to test himself on another bike for another two years. The il4 style suited him, but what if he liked the v4 more? For now, we will never know.
Bonus part, because I want to end on a good note:
The response of the Japanese fans has been overwhelmingly heart-warming. Look at any comment under a Japanese post, they are SO happy that Fabio is staying, and that not every rider is leaving to go to an European team. Japan is so important for MotoGP, and after Marc leaving Honda, Fabio staying at Yamaha is important to prevent Japan’s MotoGP stronghold from further decaying.
Fabio will be the highest paid rider in MotoGP. He will be able to take care of his family like he intends to. No worries for the bills of his new very big house.
Fabio looks damn good in blue.
Bonus hater point (I can’t help myself):
Ducati can fuck off for wanting to pay its riders with pennies.
If you have made it through all of this, thank you…? Why are you still here...?

YESSSSSSS you see the visionnnn
Like I love oxleybom for their deep love of the sport and knowledge of the culture and explaining all the technicalities and how they perceive the narrative. but sometimes I remember these are middle aged men longing for the glory days of the 80s and the utter shambles they would be in for not anticipating this. Mat having been in the paddock all these years, visited vale in his club tax evasion flat (def stocked w poppers) absolutely tearrrringgg his proverbial hair out that he was so blind.
I think they would rise to the occasion in spinning this into their motorbike yarns but you just knowwwwwww that would be a mindfuck for them.
Part of their journey recontextulising vale/Marc rivalry has to be a fraught realisation that they’ve labelled the only two (known) gay people in MotoGP grinning assassins & they have to release an emergency statement that they don’t think all gay people at killers, just these two, and that they support gay killer same sex love too ❤️
just the comedy of the sporting world reeeeeling from rosquez announcement is my fave campy bedtime delusion (homophobia doesn’t exist.) like MotoGP accounts overcompensating w the rainbowwashing, Insta captions like“Hi Gay 😃 Joan Mir says the Honda RC213V's Unrideable! Speaks on new contract extension for 2 years”
i just think it would be really funny in the sense that. okay so as a journalist you are kind of being paid to explain this sport to people in a way that captures their interest. this can be done on the technical side (rules, tires, machinery, braking) ORRRR the human side (narrative, character, plot). a good journalist can usually balance these factors and write about them in such a way that a layman can access them and be. well entertained ! it’s an entertainment game here. so when we look at how these prevailing narratives are made in sport, we often have to take a look at what the journos report on and how they do it. of course as fans we can draw out own conclusions from the words directly out of these athletes mouths, but it’s the reporters who ask the questions that create those narratives, and then work to shape them into something cohesive. stories are allowed to live and allowed to die through the press corp writ large. it’s on them.
all this to SAY. that if the largest plot line between the two biggest stars in motogp that stretches back almost a DECADE in one of the most absurdly hypermasculine sports in the WORLD was suddenly revealed to be a torrid gay DIVORCE. i don’t know if these guys would know how to ACT. i mean i suspect their status as content peddlers would immediately become VERY apparent but watching them have to. essentially reshape their perceptions around these events as something that is NOT entirely based in sporting challenges/professional competition but also as something deeply personal that happened to these guys’ RELATIONSHIP (which paddock pass pod gets at in their 2015 restrospective but doesn’t like. commit to, bc they are primarily dealing with the sporting side. like they are like WOW marc and vale only seem concerned with each other not the championship. weird.) would be interesting ! so often the rosquez divorce is talked about as something that happened entirely on the track and. well i don’t get the sense marc and vale really entirely feel that way AT ALL

Honda and Marc Marquez to end collaboration early by mutual agreement
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honda Racing Corporation and Marc Marquez to end collaboration early by mutual agreement. Honda Racing Corporation and Marc Marquez have mutually elected to terminate their four-year contract prematurely at the end of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship season. With a year still remaining on the four-year contract between HRC and Marc Marquez, both parties have mutually agreed to end their collaboration upon completion of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship season. Both parties agreed it was in their best interests to each pursue other avenues in the future to best achieve their respective goals and targets. This brings an end to 11 years of collaboration between the #93 and HRC in which they achieved six premier class World Championships, five Triple Crowns, 59 wins, 101 podiums and 64 pole positions together. Marquez took his debut victory in the premier class aboard the Honda RC213V at the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Texas in 2013 to become the youngest premier class winner and would become the youngest premier class World Champion later that year. In 2014 he defended his title and won the opening 10 consecutive races of year, going on to also claim titles in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 as an HRC rider with the Repsol Honda Team. Both parties will continue to give their full support for the remaining rounds of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship season. HRC wish Marc Marquez the best in his future endeavors.
