shizuku was completely exhausted, to say the least.

she couldn’t bear the feeling of losing you and having to start over every time. having to turn the both of you into strangers again. her loving you with all her heart, and you not even knowing who she is.

even shiho, who’s not the closest to her sister, notices her sudden mood drop, yet, uncertain of what could be troubling her, she decides not to ask.

whenever shizuku sees you for the ‘first time’ again, she wishes she could tell you what to do to avoid your death, but she couldn’t — that would only make things worse, and she’s very well aware of that.

as much as it pains her, she can only do small things to try to change the future, for now.

“I promise you, one day, it’ll be over. And when that day comes, I can finally spend my so-desired time with you.”

what was honami doing wrong?

she did everything, everything, to avoid that terrible fate. but it couldn’t be helped — it would still happen, no matter how much she tried.

she gave her all, she devoted herself to saving you. she was trying her best, her all, to keep you safe and alive. apparently, it wasn’t good enough. it was never good enough. every time, you’d end up dying in her arms. over and over.

whenever she sees you for the ‘first time’, she feels her heart ache. knowing that she’ll have to go through everything again and again, only for a false image of hope that maybe, maybe she could save you.

she never had the chance to tell you the words she was dying to say. even in your last moments, she couldn’t bring herself to say it. ever since the first tragedy, you’ve never heard the words ‘I love you’ from her ever again.

“Once I can finally let my guard down, then I’ll allow myself to soften at your touch. I love you. Evsen if I’m not ready to say it, I hope you know that.”

as much as he wanted to, rui couldn’t give up. not yet. not until he saved you.

why him? why you? why did you both have to be disturbed in such a manner?

in the beginning, he thought himself to be really lucky, to have the opportunity of being with you one more time. but as more time passed, he started to believe this was not a blessing — but instead a curse.

waking up, knowing that he’d try his all to save you but being aware that it all would go to waste, was extremely exhausting.

whenever he saw you for the ‘first time’, he could feel himself relaxing at the thought of being together with you again. having your hands run through his hair, having you laugh at his cringey pick-up lines... he yearned for that, even if he knew he couldn’t have it, at least not at that time.

he watched you die over and over. eventually, death was not a new concept to him. but every time, even knowing it wasn’t the first time and it wouldn’t be the last, watching your lifeless body always gave him a feeling of despair.s

you always called him a genius, then, why? why couldn’t he come up with a brilliant plan, as you’d say, to save you? why couldn’t he save the one person who stood by him at all times?

“I want to be with you so bad, but still, I’m not able to keep you here long enough. What am I doing wrong, my love?”

this wasn’t fair. this wasn’t fair at all. why did they have to take you — ena’s favorite person?

she’d give 110% of her to keep you, even knowing that she couldn’t be with you, knowing that you’d die again, she still chased after your life as if it’d be the last thing she’ll ever do.

sometimes, she couldn’t help but being irritated. if only she didn’t love you, this wouldn’t be happening to her. she was very well-aware that this was one selfish thought, but she thought about it every now and then. despite being mad, she could never say that she regretted loving you.

whenever she saw you for the ‘first time’, she knew it was important to keep her distance, for your safety. despite that, she glanced at you quite often, fighting the urge to go after you.

having to be emotionally distant from you frustrated her. she watched you talk to a lot of people throughout the day, knowing that she wouldn’t be one of them. after all, you were still her significant other, even if you didn’t know it.

“Why won’t you simply stay?! Damn it... I want you to be safe, be alive, be mine! And I’ll make sure it happens, even if it takes a hundred... no, a thousand times.”

the only thing toya wished for was for it to be over.

it was extremely tiring. he’d never do something that pains him, but he couldn’t give up on you just yet. even if he has to go through the same feeling of emptiness every time, he’s willing to do it, if it means saving you.

not only that, but even his bandmates notice his sudden lack of motivation. every time, akito confronted him about that, but he never answered. he couldn’t tell him the truth, he’d never believe it. it was awful to avoid his best friend, but he couldn’t help it, rescuing you was his top priority.

whenever he saw you for the ‘first time’, you merely looking at him already made his heart flutter, as if it were before the tragedy. he loved to see you so... lively. yet, he knew he shouldn’t let his guard down, as he was already aware of what would happen.

he tried his best to keep you away from danger, directly or indirectly, but none of his actions seemed to help. in the end, he always held your lifeless body, never having the chance to confess his undying love for you once more.

“I’ll do everything for things to go back as they used to be. Even if it takes thousands of times, I won’t give up, not until I make sure you’re safe.”

Rui is always on the move, whether it be performing, directing, education, he is always on the go. From an outside perspective it looks utterly exhausting. But Rui is used to this routine, it’s not exhausting to him at all. Although, it may be too much to take at once sometimes…

He won’t say it out loud, he’s too ashamed to admit it. But right now, Rui is exhausted. He’s been coming up with blueprints for hours on end right after school, only taking a “break” to meet up with his troupe at Phoenix Wonderland, coming back and working himself to the bone again. He’s drained and tired, and still refuses to take time for himself.

But as his partner, you knew what was going on. Even if he never said it, it was painfully obvious to you. The dark circles under his eyes getting darker, moving more sluggishly, always yawning… he needed a break. If he wasn’t gonna take one himself, then you were gonna make him.

The walk home from school was quiet, but not awkward. You were silently observing his face, even while he’s exhausted, he’s still the most beautiful boy you’ve ever seen.

“Is this something the matter, (Name)?”

“No, nothing’s wrong! I’m just a bit worried. You look tired. Actually- you’ve looked exhausted all week, and you’ve been acting different so-“

He cut you off with a soft chuckle, “What’s so funny?”

“Nothing my love, I’m just surprised you noticed. But I’m fine.”

“Rui, you know you aren’t fine. And when we get to your place I’m not letting you sit at your work station. You’re going to relax today.”

Rui knows there’s no point in arguing with you, he always caves in the end because he can’t stand being against you. And besides, he knows he needs to rest as well. And the best way to relax is having you with him.

The moment he opened the door you threw your bag on the floor, flopping onto his bed. Rui followed suit, all the pent up tiredness crashing down on him the second he hit the bed. He felt his eyelids grow heavier and the world go a bit quieter around him, only focusing on your resting figure next to him.

“(Name).. come here, so tired..”

He can barley form a sentence, and you knew you finally got him to rest. You switched into a more comfortable position and laid closer besides him, wrapping his arms around you.

“See? Taking a break isn’t all that bad..”

Kanade Yoisaki

Kanade is known for her unhealthy work habits, or just her habits in general. Never going outside, living off cup noodles, always at her monitor screen. It’s worrying to anybody, especially you.

You’ve tried pulling her away from her screen for a moment so she could relax a bit, but she always goes back not even an hour later. Honami has tried helping on multiple occasions, but Kanade will always be Kanade.

You watched as Kanade played with different tunes and pitches, finding what was best for the new song she was composing. She looked tired and bored, going at this for hours now. You knew at this point she wanted a break, but wouldn’t give herself one.

An idea popped into your mind, surely it would work. You got up out of Kanade’s bed and made your way to the kitchen, telling your girlfriend you would be right back.

“Honami, can you help me make three cup noodles?”

“Of course I can, but why three? One for you and Kanade, but a third?”

“I wanna make her a bigger serving, you know she loves cup noodles, if we make two and put them together, it’d be a treat for her. And.. yeah, third is for me.”

Honami smiled and nodded, giving you a hand in preparing the noodles. She thought it was sweet of you to do something like this for Kanade, considering she barley leaves her room for anything and forgets to eat a lot.

Once the noodles were done you thanked Honami and went back to your girlfriend’s room, preparing yourself to get her off that monitor.

“Kanade, I brought you something.”

She looked up, her eyes lighting up when she saw the noodles in your hand, smiling slightly when she saw how much was in the cup.

“(Name), you didn’t have to..”

“I did. I need you to take a break, Kanade. You’ve barley eaten today and you need some rest. Can you do that, please?”

Usually, she would be stubborn, telling you to leave her noodles on the table and she’ll eat it in a minute. But this time, she actually got up. Taking the cup noodles from your hand and sitting on the floor where her table was, you followed suit.

“There’s so much.. and it’s good. Thank you, (Name)..”

“Anytime Kanade, I do love you after all. Just please, try taking these breaks more often. I’m worried for you.”

She smiled and leaned into your side, you couldn’t tell if she fell asleep or not. But if she did, you didn’t wanna wake her.

The sound of the clock, ticking away on top of the wooden desk as you hurriedly pack your bag, grabbing your winter coat before making your way down the staircase.

Today was your Chrismas date with your close friend.

Well, your first and last date to be exact...

"..." Sighing as you grabbed your boots, putting them on near the entrance, beginning to have doubtful thoughts coming into mind.

Is this really the right thing to do?

You flinched, dark thoughts were interrupted by the loud sound of beeping, coming from your phone in your pocket.

"Be safe and I will see you there at the meeting spot"

"She is so sweet as ever..." You smile gently, soft pink hue spread across your cheeks, pressing your phone to your lips, whispering "I wish I could turn back in time..."

Thus you open the door to the winter wonderland as the clock keep on ticking away...

"(name), look over here... they have snowman smoothies, do you want to try it?" Honami pointed at a drink stall decorated with colorful drinks being put on display.

"Ohhh... it's look really good but uhh... "

"Oh... what's wrong?"

"It's kinda embarrassing to be walking around with them since most of the customers are like parents with their kids..."

"Ah, wait! Honamiiii...!"

"This is so good?!" You shouted, delighted by the unexpected deliciousness of the smoothie as you continue drinking to your heart's content "I could drink this all day if I want to!"

Honami chuckled at the sight of your enthusiasm, walking right by your side. She love watching every facial expressions you make, seeing a happy expression sure does put you in the holiday spirits.

"Hey, Honami..."

"...yes, what is it?"

You pointed at a photo booth nearby "I want to take a picture with you!"

"Oh, okay" She let you dragged her to the booth who is practically shaking... from excitement?

Something was wrong here.

"...(name)? what is wrong?" She pull her arm out of your grip and grabbed one of your hands, her eyes look concerned "are you cold?...but you don't seem to have a fever either..."

"I'm fine! There is nothing for you to worry about...come on, let's gooo!!"

"Oh yeah, that one is cute too...you look so awkward here hehe" You teased with a playful look in your eyes.

"Ah, please stop..." Her cheeks turn pinkish as she said that.

⋆ When your mother saw the look in his face she told you to run quick and hide , she would distract him

⋆ With that he took a knife from the drawers and stabbed her multiple times

<3 things were… stressful to be honest, especially with the fact that there was a test you weren’t prepared for today and… gahhh, what if you mess up? what if you fail, what if you can’t graduate, what if—

<3 so you called in sick. technically you were sick, but you lied to honami and rui about it so they wouldn’t skip it too. they were probably a lot more prepared than you, after all

<3 rui notices you aren’t at school first. when he isn’t immediately stalked out by you to have lunch, that was his sign. he texted honami about it, and the second school ends, the two of them are home ASAP. well, at least rui is. honami had to go buy a couple things for you

<3 when rui sees you at home, his tone is immediately stern. he’s a bit mad at the fact that you skipped school (and honestly a little more upset at the fact that he couldn’t eat lunch with you), but when you burst into tears his heart immediately drops and he rushes to pull you into a hug.

<3 he doesn’t say anything, just leans his head on your shoulder and strokes your back (you’re not a cat, he knows that, he just likes doing it)

<3 you don’t have to tell him what’s wrong, but he’s here for you, okay?

<3 and then honami literally KICKS the door open as she rushes in, her arms loaded with grocery bags. seeing you cry, she immediately drops everything she’s holding and runs over to you. are you okay, are you sick, does she need to call a hospital or anything for you?

<3 she calms down a bit when you mention that it’s anxiety and not a life-threatening disease or anything, but still!! she was really worried :( don’t do that to your sweet gf she practically bought half of walmart’s bakery section because she was so worried

<3 ah, that reminds her! taking a few minutes to put the groceries away, she comes back with an apple pie and a bunch of pastries. after all, apple pies can always brighten anybody’s day! ^^

<3 after eating, honami and rui spend the rest of the day teaching you as much as they possibly could about what was on the test (honami thought this counted as cheating a bit, but she would do anything for you), and the next day you woke up bright and early, prepared to ask your teacher to finally take that test! <3 your lovers are still asleep though… they must have been exhausted, huh? placing a blanket over the two of them, you kiss them both on their foreheads and head off to school, they need a break once in a while, after all!

୨୧ ICHIKA isn’t really jealous, very rarely does she feel that annoying flash in her heart that makes her want to take you somewhere else away from people.

୨୧ if ichika feels that flash when you’re talking to someone else, she’s most likely trying to distract the person so he can drag you somewhere else.

୨୧ ichika knows what that flash is, of course. she just doesn’t want to bother you when she gets that annoying feeling.

୨୧ if ichika is near you, she will gently hug you; without the purpose of making the person you were talking to uncomfortable. more like telling them not to try anything with you because you already have her.

honami enjoys baking a lot, so she always made sure to bake some sweets from you every now and then.

but when you made her an apple pie for the first time, she was pleasantly suprised when she took the first bite — it tasted delicious!

she didn't know you were such a good baker, and she was very happy to find out. she ate her whole slice with a huge smile on her face, and, after she finished, she looked at you with a shy smile on her face, and spoke:

"Uhm... do you mind if I take a few slices home? It tastes really good, and I'd like to eat some more later."

you agreed without a second thought, and honami was ecstatic. needless to say, she was eager to eat some more later.

ever since that day, you've been making sure to bake some sweets and deliver them to leo/need during some of their practices — and they're all really grateful for it.

saki's the one who's the most eager whenever you walk through the classroom's door while holding a small box full of treats, and she'll always be praising you while eating them.

"Hona-chan, [name]'s so nice, right? I love it when they bake these sweets for us, hehe!"

after honami found out that baking was one of your hobbies, it's not uncommon for you to go to the other's house and bake a few sweets, and eat them later while watching something together.

overall, she enjoys your sweets as much as you enjoy hers. after all, it's much tastier when they're made especially for the other.

ena first found out about your baking skills when you went to her house with airi and mizuki to make a cheesecake for akito's birthday.

after the two had left, you decided to make a mini cheesecake for ena, knowing how much she likes them.

when she took the first bite, you could swear you saw her eyes glisten a little, and she was quick to finish it with a tiny smile on her face.

"So... when were you gonna tell me you're some sort of masterchef?"

she doesn't outright ask you, but you know her well enough to know that she wants more of your sweets.

sometimes, you bake her something for her to eat before or after her night classes, and she really cherishes it — especially when you also put a small note alongside it. she may not say it out loud, but she's always grateful for you.

she's always the first to ask if she can have a bite whenever you finish baking something, and always gives good feedback, no matter what you just made.

sometimes, you have tried baking together with her, but the kitchen ended up being a mess — flour all over the counters and your clothes. nonetheless, you both had a lot of fun, and she is always up for trying to bake with you.

<3 neither of you had scissors or anything, but by some miracle rui kept a switchblade on him (“multitool, actually,” he corrected when you brought it up. “it’s used for inventions a lot more often.”) and cut the leash off

Ichika’s cuddles are more of a “in the moment” type of thing

It’s not that she doesn’t want to initiate them- but rather she doesn’t know when.

But when she does know when, she definitely will

Typically Ichika is the big spoon, but doesn’t mind being the small spoon every now and then

If you two are sleeping in the same bed, she prefers to lay her head on your chest rather than spooning. It just feels more comfortable like that while sleeping

This might be a hot take… but Saki is a big spoon… she just is ok? She loves holding you in her grasp and hiding her face in the crook of your neck. It helps her feel better knowing for sure you are there
