Wrangling a collection of Kinder egg toys? Paper clips seem to be multiplying overnight? Barrettes out of control in the bathroom? There are loads of ways to rein in all the little stuff that tends to quickly turn into clutter.

I've not decluttered much lately
But I'm somewhat managing to keep up with doing the dishes often. Not yet each day but every 2 or 3. Dishes now takes less than 15 minutes, I always have clean cutlery and plates to eat with, and the kitchen looks tidy most of the time. It's refreshing.
The next issue is, do I still get a dishwasher? Is it really necessary? It's going to add to utility bills but it may save me time, especially on days when I don't get home until late so don't wash dishes. I've already cleared the cupboard space for it, but I do need to declutter and reorganise the other cupboards so it's easier to get pyrexes and mixing bowls out.

Do you guys like re-organising or organisation in general?
I find it very soothing once I'm done organising something, but the actual progress (and the anticipation beforehands) is hard and stressful.
I've been meaning to work on this little pantry spot in our kitchen for ages. Forgot to take a before picture, but it was basically these old juice crates stacked on top of each other semi-neatly. They don't stack very well if you don't fill them up with juice cartons first... but it was inexpensive storage.
I've discovered a while back that we've got an additional shelf in a cupboard that we don't really use (only created a very thin shelf cubicle which could only hold a small stack of magazines) so I decided to move this shelf into the little pantry. It has just the right width for that!
It's only half as deep as the pantry but that's okay. Easier to see what's underneath.
I'll see if we have some baskets or stuff we could use in the pantry.. I'd like to do some more organising but without spending money on baskets etc rightaway.

For anyone who is interested, picture of how the desks ended up being placed behind the cut.
It's not completely done, but this is working out I think.

my beautiful girlfriend the starship aurora!! she has teeth and flesh and veins btw!! for mechanisms women's week day 4 time/space. this is because she is a woman and i like her a Normal amount
@mechanismswomensweek
[ID: A digital artwork of the starship Aurora from the Mechanisms in a style reminiscent of a construction paper craft, with paper texture and shadows to show the various "layers" of the piece. The Aurora is going upwards diagonally from the bottom right to the top left. Her grey-pink solar sail, which looks like a parachute, is extended to the top left of the image, and there is a muted smoke/fire trail coming from the bottom of the ship leading into the bottom right. The Aurora is a purple-red ship with three darker fins visible along her bottom, and light purple windows on her main body. The O'Neil ring circles her, with six separate light pink spheres representing the rooms located there. The background is dark purple and spotted with stars. End ID]

Israel don't care about the hostages
(a visual demonstration)
Right. Which is why you get to see those things EVERYWHERE.
(I censored faces for privacy)
Ben gurion university:
[ID: a big banner at the fence of the University - mosaic of hostages faces and the writing "bring us back now" in Hebrew./ID END]
[ID: poster with face and names of 7 of the hostages and the writing "it's not whole without them"/ID END]
[ID: a small community garden. There's a small sitting area in the middle of it, with a big banner. The banner says "bring Noa back home now" and has the photo of Noa Argamani, that was kidnapped from the Nova Festival/ID END]
Soroka hospital:
[ID: OB/GYN ward in Soroka hospital. The walls are cover with Hostages posters. Every poster has a name in 2 languages, age, photo, and "bring him/her home now!". Some posters are tagged with "returned" or "murdered" /ID END]
"/ID END]
"/ID END]
[ID: a big banner at the side of a building - photos and names of 5 hostages (from Nir Yitzhak kibutz) and the writing "bring them back home now" in Hebrew. Lower, at the metal fence, there's a newer and smaller banner with 4 hostages/ID END]
Bonus - a traffic light pole with stickers:
[ID: 2 stickers - the top looks newer, and has a photo of a young woman and the writing "in memory of Libbi Kohen-Mguri 5.6.2001-07.10.2023. I'll remember you with all my heart. The last word is Libbi ("my heart" in Hebrew) bigger and red, and there's a heart drawn by that.
The lower sticker shows a young man with a dapo/dapostar. There's a small writing "Shahak Yosef Hadar HYD" (HYD is short for Hashem Yikom Damo "may god avange his blood", said about people who were murdered- usually for being jews.)/ID END]

This "article" pushed The Guardian even further down in my regard. It's clearly written by an illiterate dumbass and the only good thing I can say is: at least they didn't publish it under Culture.
