The Ultimate Guide to Installing a Home Electric Car Charging Station
With the rising popularity of electric vehicles (EVs), more homeowners are considering the benefits of installing a home electric car charging station in NCR. A home car charging point offers convenience, cost savings, and the peace of mind that your electric vehicle is always ready for your next journey. In this guide, we’ll explore the advantages of having an electric car charger for home use and provide tips on choosing the right setup for your needs.
Benefits of a Home EV Charging Station
Convenience: Having a home car charging point means you can charge your electric vehicle overnight, ensuring it’s ready to go every morning. No more trips to public charging stations or waiting in line.
Cost Savings: Charging your EV at home can be more economical compared to using public chargers. Many utility companies offer special rates for overnight charging, allowing you to take advantage of lower electricity costs.
Increased Property Value: A home EV charging station can be a valuable addition to your property. As electric cars become more prevalent, having a charging point at home can make your property more attractive to potential buyers.
Choosing the Right Electric Car Charger for Home
When selecting a home car charging point in Hyderabad, consider the following factors:
Charging Speed: Home EV charging stations come in different power levels. Level 1 chargers use a standard household outlet and provide a slower charge, suitable for overnight charging. Level 2 chargers require a 240-volt outlet and can charge your EV much faster, often in just a few hours.
Installation Requirements: Installing a Level 2 charger typically requires a professional electrician to ensure the setup is safe and meets local electrical codes. Be sure to factor in installation costs when budgeting for your home EV charging station.
Smart Features: Some electric car chargers for home use come with smart features, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to monitor and control your charging sessions through a mobile app. These features can enhance the convenience and efficiency of your home charging experience.
Installation Tips for Your Home Car Charging Point
Choose the Right Location: Place your home EV charging station in a convenient location, such as your garage or driveway, where you can easily access it. Ensure the area is sheltered from the elements to protect the charging equipment.
Hire a Professional: While some homeowners may be tempted to install a home car charging point themselves, it’s recommended to hire a licensed electrician. A professional can ensure the installation is safe and complies with local regulations.
Plan for Future Needs: If you plan to upgrade to a more powerful EV or add additional vehicles in the future, consider installing a higher-capacity electric car charger for home use. This foresight can save you time and money down the road.
Installing a home ev charging station in NCR is a smart investment for any electric vehicle owner. With the convenience of charging at home, potential cost savings, and the added value to your property, a home car charging point is a worthwhile addition. By considering the factors outlined in this guide, you can choose the right electric car charger for home use and enjoy the benefits of having a reliable and efficient charging solution right at your doorstep.

Minthara's apology had been so heartfelt, so raw, that you couldn't help but want to do something special for her. She had laid herself bare, and now it was your turn to show her just how much she meant to you. As the evening approached, you sifted through your wardrobe, finally settling on a daring lilac dress that clung to your curves in all the right places. The color, Minthara's favorite, would be sure to get her attention.
When the clock struck seven, you were ready, your hair and makeup perfectly done, and your confidence at an all-time high. You heard a knock at your door and felt a flutter of anticipation. You opened it to find Minthara standing there, dressed impeccably in a tailored suit that accentuated her strong frame. But it was the look in her eyes that made your breath catch—a mixture of awe, desire, and something deeper.
"You look… breathtaking," she managed, her voice husky with emotion.
"Thank you," you replied with a coy smile, enjoying the way her eyes roved over you. "Shall we go?"
The car ride to the restaurant was charged with electricity. Minthara's hand found yours, her thumb gently caressing your skin. She kept stealing glances at you, as if she couldn't believe her luck. When you arrived at the restaurant, she was the perfect gentlewoman, helping you out of the car and guiding you inside with a hand at the small of your back.
Dinner was a sensory experience. The food was exquisite, but it was Minthara's attention that you relished most. Her gaze never left you, her eyes filled with unspoken words. Under the table, her hand found your knee, squeezing gently, her touch sending shivers up your spine. You responded in kind, your own hand brushing against her thigh, feeling the muscles tense under your touch.
"You're driving me crazy," Minthara whispered at one point, her eyes dark with desire.
"Good," you replied with a wicked smile, your voice low and sultry.
By the time dessert arrived, the tension between you was almost unbearable. Minthara paid the bill quickly, her hand once again finding the small of your back as she led you out of the restaurant. The moment you were in the car, she pulled you into a searing kiss, her hands roaming over your body with a hunger that matched your own.
"Please," she murmured against your lips, her voice a desperate plea. "Let me take you back to mine."
You pulled back slightly, your eyes meeting hers. "You really want me that badly?" you teased, your fingers tracing the line of her jaw.
"Yes," she breathed, her hands gripping your hips tightly. "I need you, Y/N. Please."
You smiled, savoring the power you held in that moment. "Beg for it," you whispered, your lips brushing against her ear.
"Y/N, please," she repeated, her voice trembling with need. "I want you so much. I need to show you how much I love you. Please, come back with me."
You let her words hang in the air for a moment, enjoying the way she looked at you, her eyes filled with a mixture of desperation and adoration. Finally, you leaned in, kissing her deeply before whispering, "Take me home, Minthara."
The drive to her place was a blur of heated kisses at stoplights and wandering hands. As soon as you arrived, she practically dragged you inside, her lips never leaving yours. The door barely closed behind you before she pressed you against it, her body flush against yours as she kissed you with a fervor that made your knees weak.
She practically devoured you, needily gripping your hips and biting your bottom lip. She needed you, needed to be with you, be one with you. You couldn't help but melt under her touch. She is what you wanted, she is what you desired, needed.
You gripped the back of Minthara's hair and pulled her close to you as she continued to bully her tongue down your throat. Her hand quickly snaked under your dress and toyed with your panties, a finger dipping in and out of them. She was waiting, waiting for your approval. You couldn't help but smile and you pushed her away.
She groaned and rested her head against your chest, whining slightly. She just wanred to feel you. "Come on, love, cryso,"
"I don't know, I was pretty upset.." You chuckled, Minthara caught your lips in a hot, passionate kiss, her desperation clear.
"Please, let me make it up to you," she whispered between kisses, her hands trembling slightly as they held you.
You decided to give in, leaning back against the door and pulling her closer.
"Alright, Minthara," you murmured. "Show me how much you care."
With a relieved sigh, Minthara guided you - although practically dragged you to the bedroom, her hands never leaving your body. She undressed you with a reverence that made your heart race, her lips worshipping every inch of exposed skin. She took her time, catering to your every need, exploring your body with a mix of tenderness and passion that left you breathless. Her hands traced the curves of your body, and she kissed her way up your thighs, her breath hot against your skin. She reached your hips, her fingers gripping you with a possessive need, and looked up at you again.
"Sit on my face," she whispered, her voice trembling with desire. "Please, Y/N, let me worship you."
The raw need in her voice made your pulse quicken and you submitted to her demand instantly - it may have sounded like a plea but you knew better. You positioned yourself above her, feeling her hands guiding you as you lowered yourself onto her waiting mouth. The first touch of her tongue against your most sensitive spot sent a jolt of pleasure through you, and you couldn't help but moan.
Minthara's tongue worked skillfully, her hands gripping your hips firmly as she devoured you with a fervor that left you gasping for breath. She alternated between slow, languid strokes and quick, flicking motions, her eyes locked on yours, watching every reaction. You felt a wave of intense pleasure building, her name escaping your lips in breathless whispers.
She didn't stop, her tongue and lips working in perfect harmony, driving you closer and closer to the edge. You could feel your muscles tensing, your breath coming in ragged gasps, and just when you thought you couldn't take any more, she sucked gently, pushing you over the edge.
A powerful orgasm ripped through you, your body shuddering with the intensity of it. Minthara held you steady, her tongue continuing to lap at you gently, drawing out every last bit of pleasure. When you finally collapsed beside her, breathless and sated, she pulled you into her arms, holding you close. Though she wasn't done with you yet.
She wasn't done with you; her need to show you how much she cared was insatiable.
Minthara began to kiss along your jawline, her lips soft but insistent. She moved slowly, savoring every moment, her breath hot against your skin. You shivered, feeling the familiar stirrings of arousal starting to build again.
She shifted, straddling your thigh, her body pressing against yours. You could feel the heat radiating from her, the evidence of her own arousal slick against your skin. Her hands moved with purpose, caressing your sides, her fingers dancing across your ribs, sending shivers through your body.
Her lips traveled lower, placing bruising kisses along your neck, each one more intense than the last. She bit down gently, sucking on the tender skin, marking you as hers. You gasped, the sensation a perfect blend of pleasure and pain. She moved to your shoulders, leaving a trail of hickeys that would serve as reminders of this night.
Minthara's mouth found your breasts, her tongue flicking over your nipples, making you arch your back in response. She sucked on each one in turn, her teeth grazing the sensitive flesh, sending bolts of pleasure straight to your core. Her hands gripped your hips, pulling you closer as she began to grind against your thigh, her movements slow and deliberate.
You could feel her wetness against your skin, the rhythm of her grinding becoming more urgent. She kissed her way down your body, her lips leaving a trail of fire in their wake. She paused at your hips, her teeth grazing your skin, and then she moved back up, her mouth finding your breasts again, sucking and biting with renewed fervor.
Minthara's moans grew louder, her movements more frantic as she rode your thigh. The friction against your own arousal was maddening, each grind sending waves of pleasure through you. Her fingers dug into your hips, her nails leaving marks as she lost herself in the sensation.
"Y/N," she breathed, her voice heavy with desire. "I need you. I need this."
You wrapped your arms around her, pulling her closer, encouraging her to move faster. Your bodies moved in perfect harmony, each thrust and grind bringing you both closer to the edge. Her lips found yours in a searing kiss, her tongue demanding entrance, her need evident in every touch.
The pleasure built to a crescendo, your breaths coming in ragged gasps. You could feel the tension coiling in your belly, the impending release just out of reach. Minthara's movements became erratic, her moans turning into cries of ecstasy as she ground against you with increasing desperation.
Finally, the wave of pleasure crashed over you both, your bodies trembling with the intensity of your orgasms. Minthara's cries of release mixed with your own, the room filled with the sounds of your shared passion. She collapsed against you, her body slick with sweat, her breathing ragged.
You held her close, your hands gently stroking her back as you both came down from the high. She looked up at you, her eyes filled with a mix of love and satisfaction.
"You're incredible," she whispered, her voice hoarse from the intensity of her pleasure.
You smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "So are you, my love. So are you."
Minthara leaned upwards and pressed a sloppy kiss to your lips, you held her close, not wanting to let go of her, deepening the kiss. You needed her, wanted to become one with her. She was yours and you were hers. Eventually Minthara pulled away, the two of you panting, swollen lips just touching each other.
The night continued in a blur of intense passion. After your shared climax, Minthara's desire seemed insatiable. She kissed and caressed you relentlessly, drawing you into another round of heated lovemaking. Her hands and lips explored every inch of your body, her touch a mix of tenderness and raw need that left you breathless and aching with pleasure. You lost count of how many times she brought you to the edge and beyond, her stamina seemingly endless as she worshipped your body with a devotion that made your heart swell.
As the hours passed, the room filled with the sounds of your shared ecstasy, each moan and cry echoing off the walls. By the time you finally succumbed to exhaustion, the night had given way to the first light of dawn, the soft glow filtering through the curtains and casting a warm, golden hue over the room.
You woke up feeling achy, every muscle in your body pleasantly sore from the night's activities. You stretched lazily, feeling the stiffness in your limbs, a satisfied smile tugging at your lips. The bed beside you was empty, but you could hear the sound of running water coming from the bathroom.
Curious, you slipped out of bed, wrapping a sheet around your naked form as you made your way to the bathroom. You found Minthara standing by the bathtub, her back to you as she tested the water with her hand. The sight of her, so serene and beautiful, made your heart skip a beat.
"Good morning," you murmured, your voice still husky with sleep.
Minthara turned to you, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Good morning, love," she replied, her eyes softening as they took in the sight of you. "I thought we could both use a relaxing bath after last night."
You couldn't help but chuckle, the memories of the night flooding back. "I think you're right," you said, stepping forward to kiss her gently. "A bath sounds perfect."
She helped you into the tub, the warm water enveloping you like a comforting embrace. Minthara slipped in behind you, pulling you back against her chest, her arms wrapping around you as you both settled into the soothing heat. You sighed in contentment, the tension in your muscles slowly melting away.
For a while, you simply lay there in silence, enjoying the feel of her body against yours, the gentle rise and fall of her breath. The steam from the water rose around you, creating a cocoon of warmth and intimacy. It was a lazy, blissful morning, and you reveled in the peace of the moment.
"Last night was incredible," Minthara murmured after a while, her lips brushing against your ear. "I never want to forget a single moment of it."
You smiled, tilting your head back to look at her. "Me neither," you replied softly. "It was… perfect."
She kissed your forehead, her lips lingering there as she held you tightly. "I promise I'll always make it up to you...I care about you deeply."
You smiled, feeling a deep sense of contentment. It wasn't the three little words you had been daydreaming about ever since you had set eyes on Minthara but they would do. "I care deeply for you too, Minthara."
"I never want to lose you," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "I know I’ve made mistakes, but I want to be better for you. Will you… will you be... oh my gods this sounds so foolish, but will you be my girlfriend?"
You smiled, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. You leaned in, and giggled, like a giddy school girl, "Yes, Minthara. I'll be your girlfriend. But I would have appreciated it if you passed me a note in class and let me tick a box.."
"Oh shut up you," Minthara laughed splasing water at you, though her eyes lit up with joy, and she turned you around pulled you into a tight embrace, her lips finding yours in a kiss filled with adoration and promise.
Eventually, the water began to cool, and you both reluctantly decided it was time to get out. Minthara helped you dry off, her hands gentle and caring as she wrapped you in a fluffy towel. You returned to the bedroom, where you dressed in her overshirt and climbed back into bed, snuggling close under the covers. Minthara had lightly rolled her eyes at the sight of you, muttering how she was going to get no work done today but she nevertheless joined you
As you lay there, Minthara's arms around you, a thought driftend into your mind.
"Minthara," you began, your voice soft and sweet. "You know I've missed a few classes because of everything that's been going on. Maybe you could… help me out a bit with the credits I need?"
Minthara raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on her lips. "Oh? And how do you propose I help you with that?" she asked, amusement dancing in her eyes.
You traced a finger along her collarbone, your voice dropping to a playful whisper. "Well, I could put in some extra work, Dr Baenre… if you know what I mean."
Minthara chuckled, shaking her head. "You're ridiculous," she said, her tone affectionate. She leaned down and kissed your forehead, her fingers gently stroking your hair. "I have faith in your skills and abilities, Y/N. I know you can catch up on your own."
You pouted, hoping to persuade her, but the resolve in her eyes was clear.
"But Minthara," you whined softly, giving her your best puppy dog eyes. She laughed, a genuine, warm sound that filled the room.
"No pouting," she said, brushing her thumb across your bottom lip. "You're more than capable of handling your coursework. And besides, you wouldn't want me to play favorites, would you?"
You sighed, knowing she was right. "Fine," you conceded, a small smile tugging at your lips. "But you have to admit, it was worth a try."
Minthara pulled you closer, her arms wrapping around you protectively. "It was," she agreed, her voice softening. "And I appreciate your creativity. But I believe in you, Y/N. You can do this."
You nodded, feeling a sense of pride at her confidence in you. "Okay. Fine. I'll catch up."
Minthara pressed a tender kiss to your forehead as you sighed but as you lay together, wrapped in each other's arms, you felt a sense of finalised peace. With Minthara by your side once again you felt complete, happy. And that's not just because you had entier folder on her ex and a way to make her... move on.. if needed. No, not at all, it was all about the trust you had established between each other.
A few days later, you find yourself navigating the bustling corridors of the university, the air thick with the scent of academia and the sounds of students chatting, laughing, and rushing to their next classes. You had settled back into your routine, the memories of that passionate night with Minthara still fresh in your mind, a secret smile often tugging at your lips.
As you rounded a corner, lost in thought, a firm hand suddenly grabbed your arm and pulled you into an empty classroom. You stumbled slightly, catching your balance as the door slammed shut behind you. Dr. Orin Dered stood before you, her eyes cold and calculating.
"Dr. Dered?" you said, trying to keep your voice steady. "What is this about?"
Orin’s lips curled into a tight smile, but there was no warmth in it. "I think you know exactly what this is about, Y/N," she said, her tone dripping with condescension. "Your little affair with Dr Baenre, or considering we are all on such intimate terms, Minthara."
You blinked, feigning ignorance. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Orin stepped closer, her eyes narrowing. "Don't play dumb with me, little girl. I know everything. And I'm here to tell you to break things off with her. Now. Minthara deserves someone of her standing, not a horny university student looking to get her blood pumping."
You rolled your eyes and scoffed as you crossed your arms, trying to project confidence. "And why, exactly, would I do that?"
"Because," Orin replied, her voice low and threatening, "if you don't, I'll go straight to Professor Dekarios about it. Do you really think he'll allow such an illicit relationship to continue under his nose? You're a disgrace, Y/N. I'm sure he had such high hopes for you as a promising student, but now look at you—caught up in this… this scandal."
Her words stung, but you refused to let her see how much they affected you.
"I really don’t know what you’re talking about," you said, but your heart was pounding, and you knew Orin wouldn’t back down easily.
Orin sneered, stepping even closer. "You think you can play innocent? You're a naughty student, Y/N. Throwing away your future for some fling."
Something inside you snapped, was it the not-yet-healed wounds associated with that word or was because of the sheer audacity of Orin to encroach on something you cultivated and coveted so dearly? You didn't know. What you did know was that Orin wouldn't relent, and if she went to Professor Dekarios, it could create all amounts of trouble for both you and Minthara. But you were no fool, no starry-eyed worshiper who had hots for teacher -or at least you weren't entirely that. You were something much darker that Orin had clearly not recognised.
"Do you think you’re in any position to lecture me about morality?" you said, your voice icy, your expression twisting from one of doe-eyed shock to gleeful venom. "What about your illegal experiments, Orin? The ones that resulted in the deaths of three test subjects? I'm sure the board would love to hear all about that."
Orin's face went pale, her eyes widening in shock. She took a step back, her bravado faltering. "How… how do you know about that?" she stammered. You stepped forward, your confidence growing as you saw the fear in her eyes.
"Oh I know a lot of things, Orin. Kids these days and their internet!" You laughed before dropping it and immediately going back to glaring at her with an unnerving calmness. "Oh Orin, I know things that could ruin you if they came to light. I won't even go into your missing older sibling, and the family fortune." Orin visibly flinched, like prey trapped under the predator's claw. "So if you keep trying to interfere with my relationship with Minthara, I will make sure everyone knows just how far you've gone to further your career."
Orin's bravado crumbled, and she took another step back, her eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape. "You wouldn't dare," she whispered, but there was no conviction in her voice.
"Try me," you replied, your voice low and firm. "If you want to see just how much of a 'naughty student' I can be, keep pushing. If I lose Minthara, get expelled, I lose it all. And I will not hesitate to drag you down with me. But if you value your career and your freedom, you'll stay out of my business."
Orin stared at you for a long moment, her face a mask of conflicted emotions. Finally, she seemed to deflate, her shoulders slumping in defeat. "Fine," she muttered. "But this isn’t over."
She turned and hurried out of the classroom, leaving you alone with your thoughts. You took a deep breath, the adrenaline slowly ebbing away. You knew Orin wouldn't give up easily, but for now, you had the upper hand.

It wasn't often that Andrew got angry with her. In fact, he considered himself to be more of the cool, calm and collected type. He was able to let things roll off his shoulders and move on with with his life, never sweating the small stuff.
But today, she was being a downright pain in his ass. A brat, and she was pushing every single button he had. His shoulders were tense, the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up while his top lip curled in anger. He balled his fists at his sides as he made a beeline over to her across the bar, his chest puffed up to assert his dominance.
"Let's go. Home time, yeah?" Andrew grumbled close to her ear as she leaned over the bar talking to some cretin just to make him mad. She tossed her hips from side to side as she held herself up on her elbows on the bar, her shirt low and showing off her breasts.
"I'm not ready. I'm talking to - what was your name again?" She slurred as she sipped her cocktail and tossed her hair over her shoulder.
"Doesn't matter, man. She's with me. Think you made your point, lovey." Andrew glared at the man trying to pick up his girlfriend then turned his gaze to his woman.
"If the lady doesn't want to leave-" The guy to Andrew's right spoke up, and that was all he could take. Andrew slammed his fists on the bar as he turned to the stranger and glared.
"She's my fucking girlfriend and she only talking to you to piss me off. And it fucking worked. Now, back the fuck off before I put you in the ground." Andrew snarled through his teeth.
The lady? The lady? Fuck this guy. She was his woman. And Andrew was ready to fight for her. She was just pouty with him because he didn't want to dance with her, so she stomped away and pulled in some poor sap to tease. Andrew watched from afar, letting her play her game, but eventually it got out of hand and he had to intercept. Said poor sap didn't even know he was a pawn in their game.
Andrew looked the guy over menacingly once more before he placed a hand on the back of his girlfriend's neck and pulled her away from the bar, her whine audible.
"How far were you going to let that go? That motherfucker was about to put his hands on you." Andrew growled as he led her to their car, unlocking it. He pinned her to the side of the car, and looked her over. Her drunk body was weak as she reached for his shirt and twisted it in her hands to show off his abs.
"I knew you were watching me. And I wouldn't have let him touch me. I wasn't upset like that. I just wanted your attention." She cooed, standing on her toes to kiss his mouth.
"Well, I'm upset with you. You're too friendly when you're drunk. And you're being a brat today. It makes me - "
"What?" She whispered against his lips as she staggered her nose over his. She loved to egg him on when she got into moods like this, sending sparks of electricity through his body.
"It makes me want to tie you up, make you scream my name and beg to let you cum. Spank your ass until it's red and you're a fucking mess for me, telling me how sorry you are. Because I'm in fucking charge. I'm your man." Andrew growled as he took hold of her chin to gently, but with intention guide her to look at him.
"I'll let you take me home and do whatever you want to me, baby." She breathed out with a smile as she reached for his belt buckle.
"Get your ass in the car. Now." Andrew murmured as he released her chin and walked over to the other side of the car.
Andrew drove them home in a tense silence, his knuckles white on the steering wheel. He walked inside their house without a word to her, his hands running over his face while he pursed his lips.
"Baby, are you - "
"M'not your baby right now. Understand me? Do as I ask and I'll let you touch, let you finish." Andrew growled as he grabbed her hair and pulled, forcing her to look up at him. She was so pretty, so fucking needy still and he hated how his body just ignited for her.
"Okay." She whispered as she curled her body into his.
"Get your ass in bed, pants off and ass in the air. Go." Andrew snapped with a tug of her hair before he released her from his grip. He watched her scurry to their bedroom, his body unbearably hot as he looked at her hips sway for him.
Andrew took a moment, rolled his neck and pulled his shoulders back before he slowly, but with purpose, walked to their bedroom. He exhaled heavily when he saw her on the bed exactly as he had requested - bottomless, ass in the air and reaching for their headboard.
"So, you can listen to me. You just choose what to hear." Andrew growled as he removed his ball-cap and shrugged out of his button up. He stood at the foot of the bed, eyes fixed on her backside.
"You're so hot for me right now, don't lie." She cooed as she lazily tossed her hips from side to side, enticing him to touch her.
"Never said I wasn't. Fucking brat." Andrew snarled as he pulled his wrist back and snapped it forward, smacking her left ass cheek making her gasp out loud. He ran his palm over her stinging flesh, then moved his hand to the other side to spank her again.
"Hold the headboard. Wrist over wrist. C'mon, let's go." Andrew grunted as he knelt behind her on the bed and covered her body with his to guide her hands above her head.
"Andrew.."
"I meant what I said in the lot, lovey. Use your lights if you need. But you are mine and I'm going to make sure you know it." Andrew breathed out as he took hold of her pretty face to turn her gaze towards him.
"Green light." She whispered as she arched her back, her backside rubbing into his lap while he kept his body over hers.
"The only man you should toss these hips around for is me. Do you understand?" Andrew growled as he pulled his body upright and spanked her again, hard.
"Yes." She shivered, hands gripping the headboard tightly.
"You don't tease other men to get a rise out of me. You're mine. You're fucking mine. Do you understand me?" Andrew spat as he spanked her one more time then pulled his body away from hers to slowly undress himself.
"No, come back ! M'sorry, baby. Please let me go. Let me see your face." She sobbed out as she curled into him, trying to make their bodies one, her hips pushing back to find him again.
"That didn't take long. Thought you had more fight in you than that, lovey." Andrew murmured as he reached up to tap her wrists, let her know she could bring them back down. He let out a soft gasp as she turned over in his arms and knocked him to his back, her affection abundant.
"I don't want to play like that anymore. I don't like when you're mad at me, and won't let me touch. M'sorry I was a pain, baby. I love you."She whispered as she kissed his neck, her body curling into his desperate for his attention.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you, lovey. But I felt so territorial watching you with that guy. I fucking hated it. Don't do that to me again. Even for my attention. You have all of my attention. I promise you." Andrew breathed out as he grabbed her hips to cease her tantalizing movement and flipped her onto her back again. He laid between her legs and kissed her neck lovingly, softly, as she whined for him.
"M'sorry, baby." She repeated as she twisted her fingers into his hair, her legs wrapped around his waist to keep him close.
"I know, lovey. I am, too." Andrew mumbled into the crease of her neck as his hips pinned hers to the mattress. He kissed his way back to her lips, smiling as she kissed him back with force and locked her feet beneath his backside.
He hadn't wanted to dance with her at the bar because he knew if he got close to her, let her push back against him, he would feel just as needy as her. He knew that he would feel feral in an almost unbearable way, and he didn't want to feel like that out in public. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy feeling like that for her, but he wanted to be in a space that allowed them immediate intimacy.
He was inside of her instantly. The push and pull of the two of them was unbearable for the evening and was erased in that moment. He held his weight on his forearms as he rested his forehead against hers, their bodies moving as one.
He loved her, and he would always fight for her. She was his, and he was hers.
**I have stopped doing a tag list for the time being as well as taking requests, just while I get my "ducks" in a row after coming back. Please let me know what you think if you have a moment! Thank you so much xoxo

Headcanons request for Tony Stark’s daughter and tony being overprotective when someone says something mean in public when you stim. Thank you
(Except I liked this so much it became a full fic. Can be read standalone or as WYCFTQ)
You truly never understood the value neurotypicals placed on spontaneity. Its opposite, routine was everything that kept you grounded; safe, predictable, generally within your scope of capacity. Your worst days were the ones that were shoved off kilter by a change in plans, a cancellation, a meltdown that threw your timetable for a loop. You went to school, went to the tower, went home. That was your world. Small, but anything bigger felt unmanageable. Even that was barely manageable. So when Tony announced a surprise for you and Peter on an afternoon where school let off early, you felt unbalanced.
“Mr Stark, pleaaaaaseeeee tell us I literally can’t wait. I might die,” Peter, ever-impatient and fuelled by ADHD after his meds had worn off for the day, was literally vibrating with suspense. As opposed to your drained stillness, feeling like the floor had collapsed under you.
“You’ll like it, that’s all I’m giving you. Patience is a virtue, young one,” Tony raised an eyebrow at Peter, feigning a lecture. “And you’ll be fine,” he turned to you. “We’ve practiced using your strategies. We’ll bring stim toys, your headphones, and I’ve asked where we’re going to turn the lights down and music off to make it accessible. And they listened, because I’m me. We can leave as soon as you need, and you’ve got your communication device to tell us if you’re non-verbal. You’ve got this. It’ll be good for you, and for this hyped one over here,“ he ruffled Peter’s hair. “Capische? Good. Let’s go.”
Tony drove, but kept the music fairly low key. Peter was bouncing in the front seat, animatedly keeping a running list of all the possibilities that got increasingly far-fetched as Tony refused even the slightest hint. You had to admit, even through the snowdrift of anxiety that felt like it was building by the second, it was pretty funny. Amusing, even. Eventually, the Audi pulled into the parking lot of a mall and as he swung it in to park in the electric vehicle charging station, Tony pulled a baseball cap on low over his eyes.
“Alright, you ready?”
Peter was already halfway out of the car before the engine had been cut off. Tony turned to you. “Well, clearly someone is”, he gestured to Peter. “You doin’ okay?” At your nod, he continued in a near-whisper. “We’re going to a toy store. There’s Lego and sensory stuff for days, and I promise you’ll like it. But if it’s too much, I’m right here, and you’ve got your device to communicate. You say the word and we leave, no hesitation, okay?” At the mention of where you were going, you started happy flapping and bounced in your seat. Sensory stuff AND lego? Fuck yeah!!!! Some of the anxiety snowdrift melted back down and you got out to join Peter, who still had no idea where you were going and looked like the fact was making him positively implode. It was funny just how different you were, yet how you were both going to love this place.
At some point between the car and the store, you grabbed Tony’s hand. It was grounding, which you needed when the sensory overload of the general mall walkthrough got disorienting. You stopped, fluorescent lights searing into your brain and the beginning of the meltdown urge to run crept up your spine. Peter, miles ahead and oblivious to just about everything except the mystery destination, kept going, but Tony pulled your noise canceling headphones out of his jacket pocket. “You left these in the car,” he said by way of explanation, “And we’re nearly there. You’ve got this.” Resolve strengthened, you pulled the headphones over your ears, pressing the button on the side, hoodie pulled up, determined. If nothing else, you were going to get there for Peter’s sake- he might explode from excitement if it wasn’t soon.
In line with Tony’s promise, the toy store was bliss. The lights were dimmed and corporate music absent (thank Thor, and whatever other gods are out there), and the Lego. Oh my god, the LEGO. Rows of Star Wars and flowers and little city buildings and a huge tub of loose pieces, next to a free play table in the centre of the display. Sticking your hands deep into the cool plastic pieces felt positively heavenly, and in forgetting anyone else was around you were stimming freely in unfiltered joy. Vocal stimming, too.
“Surely you’re too old to be making those sorts of noises. I mean, I’d expect them from my 2 year old grandchild, not at your big age.”
The admonishment came from a woman, somewhere between middle- and old-age, making her way over to you from the baby doll section. You froze. She meant you? You were so happy you hadn’t been masking, not forcing the happy stimmy noises down the way you typically did when in the presence of others.
“Yes, you, don’t look at me all stunned. What are you doing in here anyway? You look too old to be playing, with Lego or with anything else.”
Fear felt like it was shutting down your access to comprehensible thought. Like moving through jelly, you pulled the lanyard around your neck forward to show the woman the pin. It was a green sunflower lanyard, the hidden disabilities awareness kind, and the button read “Please do not touch me. I’m Autistic.” You felt a distressed sound come from the back of you throat, whining, that you just couldn’t push down. Tony Tony whERE IS TONY?
“Hey y/n, have you seen-“
“Oh, so you’re special. That’s nice of your… people… to bring you out like this. You know, into the community.”
“What the fuck did you just say to my kid.”
The baseball cap was off. Tony had come from the back of the store, from the sensory section with Peter, and stepped straight into the middle of the degrading, one-sided conversation you were now trying to practice your breathing exercises through. You’d practiced them a million times, with Tony, Peter, Nat, Bucky, everyone said to practice because when the time came you needed them to work but right now you weren’t sure they were enough because you felt like you were drowning. Special. You weren’t fucking special, not in the way she meant it, you were just Autistic and Autistic is fine, Autistic isn’t bad, you had as much right to be here as anyone else but that word was making your ears ring, and you felt like your head was underwater and you couldn’t breathe and your hands were flapping but not in the good way in the too much bad energy need to get it out way. You needed weight, pressure, grounding, to be crushed, and, no longer paying attention to the conversation between Tony and the stranger, you pulled your AAC forward from its crossbody strap.
“Squeeze. Tony.”
“Okay, kid, yes, squeeze. I hear you.” You basically body slammed him as he crouched down to your level, and you hummed in relief as the hug was all the input your nervous system was craving. He turned to speak over the top of you.
“I need you to leave. Now. You had no right to say what you did. This is a public place, and my kid deserves access in the way that works for them. That includes stimming, and playing, in the way that brings them joy. I hope you learn from this.”
You assumed she left, because he didn’t say anything else. You stayed, tightly held, until you pulled back from the hug cautiously.
“Do you want to leave?” You shook your head. No. As awful as that whole interaction had been, getting here was a task and you didn’t feel you had made it worth it yet. “Want to see the sensory toys?” Yes yes yes a million times yes. Nodding wasn’t enough; with trepidation, a little of the flappy happy hands broke through. Not fully, though. The word ‘special’ still echoed in the back of your mind, unwanted and uncomfortably present.
The sensory toy section was pure magic. There were bubble tubes, tactile fidgets, bouncy seats, spinners, lights, glitter bottles, projectors, a reversible sequin dinosaur, acupressure rings, a cocoon swing hanging from a frame… It was like a goldmine of sensory wonder. As you joined Peter in discovery, little by little the mask you put up melted away and you were spinning, joyfully bouncing on the balls of your feet, happy vocal stims free and unjudged. And if Tony was putting aside one of everything you showed interest in to purchase and bring home with you, well, of course he was. If he couldn’t make the ableist public go away, the least he could do was provide you with the safest, most inclusive and loving home possible.

Doordash AU Lore
Condensed Soup Version for your reading pleasure~ This was flailed over discord last night in a stream of consciousness into the delirium of sleep and goes from legible and readable to 'what are you typing??' levels of writing. Spellcheck was... not used a lot. Enjoy!
Sun survived the Fazbear Fire ending but was junked and picked up by random dude that tinkered enough to get him fixed to the point he could finish fixing himself. Sun and a very feral moon were... 'grateful' for being saved, but dude just wanted to use them as a side hustle for income basically and guilt trips them into working to 'pay him back for saving them and the electricity it takes to keep them charged'
Hence, doordash. Getting sun to be able to drive was easy enough, and dude just linked his own bank with the account so any pay out goes straight to him. The boys basically get pennies for their work because they don't really have a full sense of money or the outside world, but Sun 'likes' getting to explore while delivering and while they'd love to work with kids, well... Dude won't let them go until they pay him back. So they technically are under the assumption he owns them like fazbear did. A little pushback but 'if it weren't for him, they'd still be in the scrap yard'. And it's way better than being locked away in solitude again.
SO, one day they do a deliver for Reader, quiet anxious shut-in artist hermit type that thrives online but is basically terrified of the world beyond their home. Very relatable cough
BUT YN is like. Holy fuck that's a robot???
And Sun is like HELLO! Here's your food! Wanna chat? What do you do? How was your day?
To which anxiety YN blurts out they're an artist and Arts and Crafts King SUN is like YOU LIKE ART? I LIKE ART? and corners them for about 15-20 minutes talking their ear off while they're basically frozen because too awkward to tell him to leave, and he's not being WEIRD just REALLY TALKATIvE but it seems to be making him happy??
And then he gets another delivery and has to go anyway.
WhICH... OK cool that was weird but something to remember and forget about later.
Until a few weeks later when they order from a similar area restaurant and get Sunny as their delivery dude again, recognizing it immediately as him and actually having a more 2 way convo this time?
And it starts off slow, little short convos between drop offs and Sun wants to stay and talk more but it gets waved off at first. BUT YN keeps trying to work the system and get him back as a delivery dude for short chats.
Friendship builds and they start working out how to get the delivery as the last of his shift time so he can talk longer and longer, but he always leaves before the sun goes down too far, because Moon worries
Which eventually something happens and Sun knows he's not gonna be able to make it back home before dark, so he VERY anxiously asks if he can stay the night and makes up a thing about not functioning well in the dark. Sunshine and all that.
SO he gets to stay and they have a longer chill evening and he watches YN work on some commissions, and then they watch a non-fazbear movie and just chill. Which he's ABSOLUTELY BLOW AWAY by a non-fazbear movie
and YN wants to introduce him to different shows and stuff, so these little sleepovers (lights on) turn into a more regular almost weekly thing.
But eventually the fun time gets caught and Dude gives Sun a call about where the fuck is he with the car? Where has he been? And sun apologizes and has to leave, but it raises questions about who that was.
WHich takes us to catalyst point 1, of 'man, that guys a dick. you don't take that much energy to charge -motions to electric bill that only budged a couple dozen dollars' and learning he takes all sun's earnings.
Now, you might be wondering... WHere's MOON in all this? How does MOON feel?
Well, Moon doesn't trust anyone at this point. Between fazbear, the vanny incidents, and this fucker, he is VERY skeptical there's not some ulterior motive, and he wants to test it. But Sun is getting very attached to YN
And he's already made moon lowkey promise to behave in case the lights go out from the first night, cause they haven't done anything bad yet. But he's still IFFY.
BUT LOW AND BEHOLD, the fabled power outage arrives, and YN doesn't know MOON is a thing.
It's a short one, and Moon POORLY tries to pretend to be Sun in the dark, but he's very... itching to fuck with YN. WANTS to harass them so bad, but... he said he'd behave.
But the lights come on, and Sun is a little panicked, but YN brushes it off like he was scared of the dark? Though he didn't sound scared a moment ago? Maybe it was something else that spooked him?
BUT things continue and the more YN hears about dude, the more they want to beat his ass(they wont, they're not bold like that) and get Sun away from him... which... he might have a gps on the phone and car that they use, but not on Sun. All he'd have to do is like... not go back? and he'd be free
which alarm bells MOON with the though YN just wants to use them the same way dude did to get more money cause at this point it's obvious to them both that the only things YN really spends their extra money on is food delivery and thats about it. they don't buy 'stuff' but they enjoy eating good food from different places, and they've been ordering a lot more lately as an excuse to see Sun.
SO moon convinces Sun to let him 'test them' and their resolve
Let him out, let him have some fun. And hoo boy. He definitely makes himself a threat, but he did still promise not to HURT hurt them.
BUT he has to test limits. Push buttons. He doesn’t really want to hurt YN cause they have genuinely been nice and he wants to think they’re being sincere in their attempt to help them, but there’s always that grain of salt. They thought the other human was trying to help them but they were just getting used for free income. What’s to say this 'starving artist’ won’t do the same? So he does the chase song and dance, the threats, minor injuries to see if it’d be enough to scare YN into showing true colors…  And they ARE scared, but they also know Sun at this point. Even if Moon is gonna be shitty, and they say as much, Sun is their friend, and they aren’t gonna let him go back. Even if it means putting up with Moon.
WHICH HURTS, but in a way that warms his heart sorta. Like.. OK OW? But also deserved. He’s not done poking the bear, though, but again, bit by bit he goes from full gremlin mode to spikey roommate to soft nap lord. With gremlin habits still. He wouldn’t be moon if he wasn’t a pest sometimes.
BUT like, OK. SO MOON DOES HIS MOON THING
and he's surprised YN has so much... pushback to not let him get to them, but also seems to have this genuine urge to help Sun just to help him?
Which means now Moon has to repair the relationship, but Sun is also excited that Moon is going to TRY to be nice now, not just because he asked him to, but because... If they ARE gonna be trying to live with them, as friends, that first impression needs to get undone
Which he points out also it's NOT their first meeting, but... YN doesn't pick that up at first
SO we have the 'become friends with Moon' arc starting as well as the actually stealing Sun... which is easy enough. They drive back to dudes house with YN and just... leave the phone in the car, and take the bus back home.
which leaves YN in a lowkey panic because agoraphobia
BUT they'd do it for their friend. The injustice of what happened is stronger than their own fears, and getting back home results in a nice little cuddle session because yes. Which also would end up in them falling asleep and sun shifting over to Moon and moon basically having a 'I WILL NOT ADORE THEM oh fuck' moment too
WHICH brings us to the midway point... Sort of.
Because now YN is taking care of them, or rather, giving them somewhere to live, rent free, and eating the cost of their electricity upkeep which is... not horrible but more than expected... so they're now having to go grocery shopping regularly (ew) and essentially cutting their food budget in more than half to make that difference, cause taking on new commissions is already stretching their work load.
There's a small talk of why YN doesn't have a different job, and there's some talk of... not trauma, but just... really bad experiences? They wouldn't call it trauma, but they DO NOT want to have to get a 'normal job' again. Which is hard for them to understand from an AI perspective, having job stuff programmed into them with the daycare and security things
BUT then YN talks about how if doordash felt 'right'... and it did not. it was 'ok' but it wasn't what they were made for
But they're also realizing that they ARE sort of... taking up a decent amount of what was YN's 'spare money'. which was NOT safety net worthy but it was enough for them to be comfy
SO they start feeling guilty. Doing little tasks around the house, but it's not enough, TO THEM, to make up for the new burden they're putting on this FRIEND that CARES about them.
SO... They want to get a job.
But how
Their options are VERY limited, and probably gonna have to be under the table
They don't need to make a LOT, but YN basically tells them they will NOT do doordash shit again.
There's the possibility of doing private babysitting? But getting parents to agree is... weird...
They do the random attempt of going to a few parks and letting sun do his thing with the kids, but there's a mixed response of 'what the fuck, a robot?' and 'ok who's the freak that brought a bot to a playground? is this some kind of sick joke?'
But there are a few parents that don't immediately freak out.
YN talks to some of them and explains that he used to work with kids until their daycare burned down and he was thrown out, a bit of a twist on the official happenings but believable enough.
And one parent takes the bait,  agreeing it'd be nice to have someone watch the kids after school for a bit before they got off work some days, so they'd try it out. For a very cheap fee, but still.
It's a step in the right direction, and their kids area already on board with having Sun as a temporary caretaker. YN is gonna be with them, but they can take their art shit wherever so Sun handles this kids and YN just babysits the babysitter XD
They let sun and moon keep all the money they make and only take what's offered from them, and insist they should hold on to some of it for anything they  might need for future repairs. There's a lowkey friend argument but agreements are made
They gather a few families that are on board with their services, and eventually things even out. But one parent mentions the daycare their tiny child goes to is actually pretty short staffed. They can't afford to hire on anyone else at a normal pay rate, but if they treat it like 'renting a piece of machinery' a phrase YN is pissy about, then they could probably pay a similar rate to the babysitting gigs but as a 5 days a week guaranteed time thing?
Which there's a back and forth on how that might be risky, but the fucking starry eyed glee from Sun, and moon actually, about getting to work with a daycare again is something they can't fight against. And so the approach is made.
And accepted
As a trial run, at first, but things go well and they become a welcome part of this little daycare, and can handle the tasks of two or three employees easily. It's far less chaotic that the sugarhigh crazed children of Fazbears, and it's the happiest they've been in a long time
wait.
what's that?
everyone is
happy?
>w>
Heheh
GUESS WHAT MOTHERFUCKERS
fazbear still owns them
Well
Sort of
Fazbear still owns 'Sun and Moon' as trademarked entities.
Dude still owns them legally as salvaged scrap.
And Moms just LOVE posting weird shit on facebook.
Knock KNock we're here for your robot
Time to RUN from THE MANZ
Thankfully still no tracker, and THANKFULLY Fazbear isn't actually as invested as the news would lead people to believe? But that dude? oh that dude is PISSED as FUCK
He ends up being the more unhinged danger time for YN, because it was DEFINITELY YNs FAULT 'their robot went rogue'
Fazbear's is lowkey keeping tabs, but after that plex burned down they'd already gotten the insurance from the BS that happened, and technically getting such a... mmm 'tampered with' AI would be a pain in the ass to recode
They're lowkey interested in him as spare parts, but the news media covering this from the dudes side, and then eventually uncovering the harrowing rescue and plight of the 'mistreated robot that just wants to take care of kids' has the story quickly turning on it's head.
Fazbear's watching all this too, and they're... intrigued that Sun and Moon still have such a strong drive to care after the incident... they're swapping to wanting to study this...
They weren't the only bot that 'survived', but they're the only one that made it to the 'outside'
BUT BUT BUT
they study
they watch this drama unfolding with the curiosity of a cat watching a mouse in a maze
they COULD pounce, but... they could also learn from this. they see money in them hills
ANd the media is EATING this shit up
but it does come down to it that Dude finds YN and Sun/Moon (time undetermined at the moment) and they're... separated enough that he CAN rough up YN a bit. Not enough, but enough that it sends YN off running and Dude books it cause he doesn't want the police involved after making a BIG no no of assault
he knows he fucked up, but YN is now hella shaken and Sun/Moon shows up shortly after. MOON is very livid and wants to go hunt this dude down like a dog. Sun ALSO is on board but... that would not do any of them any good, so it's comfort the reader time.
Little bit of wound tending, mostly bruises and a fucked up wrist.
yep.
That one. They aren't drawing for a while because fuck you thats why
But again, the place YN went to for safety is on the phone with police and the media hears about this dude attacking them, and HOO BOY... BUT yn doesn't press charges because...
MOSTLY they dont wanna deal with court shit?
BUT his own actions are enough to kind of scare him off from intervening again
he knows he fucked up, and the info is ON the NEWS now, and he's waiting for the arrest warrant to get served but it never does.
This is now a bigger issue and not worth the hassle
he's got a nice fucking chunk of change though from them doing door dash for like 10 hours a day for.... months?
just sitting in his bank
which mF is gonna have to pay taxes on lmao
bitch doesn't know it yet cause he didn't think that far ahead. he's an asshole. a clever one, but not a smart one.
SO it's into the wind down of wondering when Fazbear is gonna try to come swoop in and steal Sun/Moon back from YN. or rather, back from their freedom. And it's NOT long after that they do get a knock on the door from a fazbear rep...
This is about where the end gets hazy though. Cause I don't wanna do the whole convo, but it boils down to, they're very intrigued that 'the ai,  Sun, and Moon, have adjusted so well to life outside of the plex.'  And they want to use that. The knowledge that they can expand outside of just 'entertainment'.
This isn't the 'birth of the ai revolution' of sorts where robots are everywhere... they already are somewhat, but very... simple versions. More advanced things like the animatronics are few and far between, and highly monitored in their selected environments (the pizzaplex). But letting the more sentient ones adapt to working at things like stand alone daycares, theme parks, maybe as traveling shows that go on tour, or other possible branch locations with different uses is very interesting to the higher ups
They want to monitor Sun and Moon, how they conduct themselves, and how people respond to them 'out in the wild', so to speak.
"This new idea is... groundbreaking. And we just want to observe... For now."
The long side eye is LONG, but... LEGALLY they could snatch the boys up without a second thought.
So they take the offer.
Fazbear is gonna offer no help, aside from possibly medical costs because they want to build a 'friendly face for the enterprize' as well as feel slightly responsible for YN getting hurt by not stepping in sooner and making their presence known to The Dude TM that he was out of his realm from the start.
There's some wariness from all parties, but...
It seems things will work out
uwu
The end.... ?
Possibly the end
it has room for expanding into the actual watching portion but that's what I have so far and is a POSSIBLE stopping point

Getting a new wheelchair! The XTSO M4
Tumblr media
If you're wondering what model of power chair this is, it's this in the readmore:
Tumblr media
Here's the website.
Here's my family friend's website with even more variety and options.
I'm brand new to wheelchairs and power chairs, but have recently invested in this one as my mobility has been an increasing issue as I'm getting older. A family friend of mine has MS and owns a wheelchair and powerchair company, and just recently went to a floor-show of new models in Miami, FL, and emailed me back with the XSTO M4 as a recommendation for my first chair.
These chairs are expensive. They may not be affordable for you. I'm only getting one because I know a guy who sells them and he's willing to help me out when it comes to the financials. However, if you're curious, shopping, or interested to know what kind of new tech is starting to be incorporated into electric wheelchairs, here are some product deets about the M4:
Comes with an automatic balance system, which balances out the seat even when I'm going uphill. This prevents the "I'm going to fall and hit my head" sensation if a slope is steep.
Can clear vertical obstacles of up to 2" vertically or 6" horizontally (such as rolling over grass between paving stones) , so if a city's infrastructure sucks for chair-bound people, I can at least brute-force to a sidewalk or park when necessary.
Can handle slopes of up to 15°
Breathable back and memory foam seat for no more Ass Sweat Prints on warm days.
Designed not to slip or skid on slippery surfaces or going up or downhill
Self-adjusts the seat to stay level even when on a slope so I don't tip over or fall off the chair. Also has a safety-wheel in the back so it can't be tipped backwards, either.
Travels up to 11 miles on a single charge
Has both "casual" (indoor) and "off-road" settings.
Can adjust the seat up or down up to 8" to Reach Things Better or Be More Visible To Traffic.
Has no rear handles for assholes to grab and try to move me around without permission.
Comes with an app (ugh I know) that makes my phone make an alert noise when the battery is low or a part or component is malfunctioning, gives me the ability to remotely control it to wheel it closer to me if it's out of reach and I can't walk to it (honestly a selling point for me; I never know when I'll have Bad Issues and need extra help), switch its modes from casual to sport mode, and make it fold/unfold for space.
Breaks into 3 separate parts for easier storage in the back of a car.
Goes up to ~4mph, which isn't bad for me, since my normal mph at home without a chair is 0.
Has a tight 32" turning radius courtesy of the front tires, making it good for moving around indoors too.
Seat reclines and has a small leg-rest for if I want to lean back.
The manufacturer recycles parts, so if something like the battery needs replacing, I can send the old part in and receive a new, replacement part for free.
Almost every feature covered by the app is also available on the LCD readout beside the joystick, so I don't need to use the app if I don't want to.
It doesn't look like I stole it from a retirement home or a WalMart.

Byakuya glares at his all-electric Toyota that should be fully charged and ready to go. Instead it sits in his driveway, refusing to switch on despite working perfectly well the night before. Fixing it shouldn’t be an issue. Though he isn’t a former Super High School Level Mechanic with pointed teeth and cheap hair dye, he knows a fair bit about the inner workings of vehicles. He ran a secondhand automobile business as a preteen, where not only did he sell used cars but fixed them too. In fact, he even taught employees and customers how to repair them. This had been for one of the conglomerate's challenges for choosing an heir, then once he had completed the task, he sold the business to some locals who continued to run it for quite some time afterwards.
The business only became defunct when the world almost ended.
However, while Byakuya could try to repair his car and probably would succeed, he is donning a clean work suit and is due at his job in twenty minutes.
“Togami-chi!” lilts a familiar voice.
A car trundles to a stop on the road perpendicular to Byakuya's driveway. From the driver’s seat, Yasuhiro beams at him, eyes twinkling behind his spectacles.
“What are you standing around for? Let me guess. Enjoying the morning dew?”
“Do I look like I’m enjoying myself?” says Byakuya, scowling.
Yasuhiro squints. Adjusts his spectacles. “Uh...”
“My car isn’t starting,” says Byakuya bluntly.
“Did you charge it?”
“Of course I did,” snaps Byakuya. “There shouldn’t be anything wrong with it.”
Yet it won't start up at all. He shoots it a frosty look.
“Cars break down for all sorts of reasons. Electronics failure, motor corrosion...” Yasuhiro counts off his fingers. “The all-mighty Indra has the flu...”
Byakuya’s lips almost disappear into his mouth as he purses them.
“No matter. I can work from home,” says Byakuya, even if he prefers to teach his students in person. Less distractions. Better internet connection. Decent coffee.
Yasuhiro waves a hand. “No need for that. I'll give you a lift, ‘right?”
A single furrow dents Byakuya’s brow while Yasuhiro's car is dented in several places. Not including its owner, it’s a car only Columbo could love. Whatever’s wrong with the suspension means the car seems to lurch every time it goes over a pebble. As he stares at it, Byakuya half-expects the tires to roll off in different directions and the vehicle to suddenly be enveloped in a ball of flames.
It’s in Byakuya’s best interest to refuse. He cups his chin. Then again, not only would he rather be physically at the school than teaching his students from home, he has also been looking forward to lunch today.
“... Fine,” says Byakuya. “I accept.”
A wide grin spreads across Yasuhiro’s face. “I knew you’d come around. Hop on in!”
But when Byakuya heads toward the front passenger seat, Yasuhiro waves his hands frantically.
“Sorry, dude! That door won’t open. And I, uh, need to clean that seat anyway. I got some ketchup stains on it... You know what burgers are like.”
Byakuya had thought he knew what burgers were like, having even eaten his first one two years ago. Since meeting Yasuhiro, however, he isn’t so sure about them. Like how he isn’t so sure he should get into Yasuhiro’s car. His fists clench at his sides as he reminds himself that he would prefer to be physically present at the school, that he has survived much more hazardous situations than this, and he has really been looking forward to today’s lunch.
So long as he makes it there alive, anyway.
Squaring his shoulders, Byakuya forces himself into the back of the car. The stitching on the seats frays in some places, puckers in others, but is surprisingly clean. Like it has recently been washed. He can see moisture on the windows and a few crumbs on the floor, but overall, the interior isn't too horrific. Somewhat cramped, but dare he say tolerable.
And it’s just a ten minute journey. Yasuhiro glows.
“All righty.” The car rattles as Yasuhiro puts it into gear. “We’ll be on our way to Hope’s Peak in no time... just as soon as we collect Fukawa-chi.”
Byakuya's brow crinkles. “What?”
The car jerks forward, jolting Byakuya. With a grimace, he settles into his seat as best he can and looks out of the window. Touko only lives down the road, so it won't eat up too much of his time. He is slightly surprised that Yasuhiro is giving her a lift to work, though. Other than Makoto and Byakuya, Touko doesn't usually feel comfortable enough to accept rides alone with men.
The car soon stops, spluttering as it does so. Byakuya and his fellow killing game survivors used to live on Hope's Peak’s campus, but after it was sufficiently rebuilt, they moved into some modest housing in a street across the city. Even if the school is quite different now, none of them can stomach living there full-time, permanently.
He folds his arms over his chest. Drums his fingers.
“We'll pop Fukawa-chi in the back next to you,” says Yasuhiro. “Won't it be nice to see her again?”
“I saw her yesterday.” Byakuya glowers. “You know I don't like being late.”
Yasuhiro laughs. “You won't be late. She'll be out any minute now, ‘right?”
Touko’s house resembles the others on the street for the most part, two stories with a window embedded in its slanted roof. The garden is what makes her home recognisable, with long grass, wildflowers throughout and log piles. When the front door opens, Byakuya’s eyes draw toward the movement, and out comes Touko. Her single braid bounces as she hurries down the path.
His eyebrows raise a tad. She seems oddly eager to get into Yasuhiro’s car.
“Good morning, Fukawa-chi!” Yasuhiro says as she slips into the back of the car.
Touko doesn't spare Yasuhiro a glance. “Good morning, Byakuya-sama!”
She must have spotted Byakuya from her window. That explained why she came over to Yasuhiro’s car so enthusiastically. Though, he wouldn’t have been surprised if she had known of Byakuya’s arrival without having to look outside. There must be some logical explanation, but she has an almost uncanny ability to know when he’s nearby... something he has somehow gained over the years.
Probably just intuition. Yes.
“Good morning,” says Byakuya before curling his lip in disdain. “Is that everyone, Hagakure? Or are you carpooling the whole street today?”
“Just you two,” Yasuhiro replies. “Next stop, work!”
The car emits a grinding noise that Byakuya doesn’t think cars should make, then they’re on the move. Byakuya stares out of the window again and tightens his lips. Without needing to look at Touko, he knows she’s staring at him. He can imagine her unblinking grey eyes, her chapped lips smile. The mole by her mouth. By now, he's very familiar with the sight of her. Understandable. They see each other inside and outside of work.
“Anyone want music?” asks Yasuhiro.
“No,” Byakuya and Touko say in unison.
Yasuhiro flicks the car radio on. The song begins with almost-immediate dialogue, a woman speaking in English about having rotten judgement. Within a few lines, the tempo picks up and a backing choir joins in. Byakuya still doesn’t recognise the song, but he doesn’t care to know either. He checks his wristwatch. Despite the minor detour, they should still arrive on time.
“Have you ever seen Hercules, Togami-chi?” asks Yasuhiro.
“No, I haven’t seen the fictional son of the fictional god of sky and thunder,” says Byakuya.
“I mean the Disney movie! This song is in it. It’s when this chick called Meg doesn’t want to admit she’s fallen in love with Hercules, so these pretty goddess ladies try to coax her into embracing her feelings.”
Byakuya doesn’t recall asking him to elaborate.
“I’ve seen it,” Touko pipes up, fidgeting her hands. “I didn’t watch any Disney movies as a kid, but Komaru has shown me some... I really enjoyed M-Megara’s character. She resonated with me a lot.”
A character that’s similar to Touko isn’t what Byakuya would expect from that kind of mass media company. And from what he knows of Megara from Greek mythology, he can’t see the resemblance. He turns to her, curious. “Why is that?”
“You should totally watch it sometime, Togami-chi!” says Yasuhiro before Touko can reply. “You could get together with Fukawa-chi, sit on the couch, share some popcorn...”
Touko growls. “Don’t interrupt me!”
“Sorry, sorry!” Yasuhiro says, wincing.
She looks at Byakuya again. “The character, Megara... Her story in the movie is different to her usual depiction in Greek mythology. In the movie, s-she sold her soul to Hades in a deal to bring back her dead lover, only for him to fall in love with someone else. It left her jaded and unable to trust easily, until she met Hercules...”
“That is quite different,” replies Byakuya. “In Greek mythology, she’s gifted to Hercules by her father for winning a war. Then, while Hercules was under a spell of madness, he murdered their children and in many retellings slayed her as well.”
“He’s different in the movie. Much more... palatable. In the mythology, as you will know, with his third wife, Deianira, he was constantly unfaithful and abusive toward her, and h-he even...”
“Girl, don't be proud! It's okay you're in love!” Yasuhiro belts along with the radio, earning glares from both Byakuya and Touko.
The song peters out soon after and the next rolls on. It immediately starts with dialogue as well, in English again, but this time with goofy voices that Yasuhiro tries to imitate.
“I can see what’s happening, and they don’t have a clue. They'll fall in love, and here's the bottom line. Our trio's down to two.”
“Is this from that movie as well?” asks Byakuya.
“Nope. Still Disney, but Lion King this time,” says Yasuhiro.
Byakuya squints. “Are you playing a Disney CD?”
“Yep!”
“Do you have anything else we can listen to?”
“The CD tray won’t open. It’s jammed.”
Of course.
“Does your radio have an off switch?” asks Byakuya.
“Aw, it’s not that bad! Did you really not watch any Disney movies growing up, Togami-chi?”
“No, I didn’t. I was more interested in works by directors such as Shinya Tsukamoto and Seijun Suzuki.”
Touko, who had been listening and quietly twiddling her fingers, perks up. “E-Excellent taste, Byakuya-sama! And it’s thanks to you helping me overcome my fear of blood that I could recently watch one of Tsukamoto’s finest works.”
Byakuya knows exactly which she is referring to. The premise is that the main character had double vision that caused her to hallucinate doppelgangers who wanted to harm her child. He had recommended it to Touko, actually.
“That one was interesting, wasn’t it?” he says. “Mental health is still a rather taboo subject in this country. And you did well tolerating the graphic imagery, as her hallucinations about her son dying can get incredibly violent. There was also a lot of self-mutilation in it with the main character...”
“Indeed. But she did it for an unusual reason... She was fascinated by her body’s determination t-to stay alive. It was gruesome, but I couldn’t tear my eyes away. It was strangely cathartic...”
“I thought you would enjoy it. You know, when I look at you, due to your alter, it’s as if I see two people that appear the same but are remarkably different... one being a serial killer, and the other of course being you.”
“Can you feel the love tonight?” warbles a woman’s voice.
“Hey, uh, it’s nice seeing you two get along and all, but let’s keep the tone light, ‘right?” says Yasuhiro, frowning.
Byakuya and Touko glare at him. It’s not that he’s wrong - over time, Byakuya has discovered that he and Touko share a number of interests, and their discussions can get quite deep and passionate. So yes, he and Touko can and do get along now, but he doesn’t need Yasuhiro to say that. Or to interrupt their discussion.
According to Byakuya’s wristwatch, they should reach Hope’s Peak in approximately five minutes. Only one, maybe two more songs can play within that time. Then Byakuya can leave the car, go into work, and finally...
“Uh oh,” Yasuhiro says loudly. “Traffic!”
Byakuya and Touko both look outside of the car and stiffen. Last time he checked, a mere minute ago, the road had been busy with just the usual morning traffic. Now motor vehicles pack them in on all sides and cram the road as far as he can see. They're all at a standstill.
“Huh. Is it the Pride Parade already?” asks Yasuhiro.
“That was last month,” says Byakuya. He scowls. “Idiot, we all went together, remember?”
“Welcome to the impromptu Sayaka Maizono Tribute Act!” booms a disembodied feminine voice. “Today would have been her early twenty something birthday... so to celebrate her life, we have taken over the city to play her songs all day! Let's kick things off with a classic... Let's Be In Together, Best Friend’!”
Obnoxious pop music blasts from outside of Yasuhiro's car. Touko shrieks, while Byakuya restrains himself to a shoulder twitch. For this supposedly being an impromptu event, the organisers seem to have fitted speakers throughout the city with remarkable speed. Around them, the other vehicles empty out as their occupants stand on their roofs and start dancing to the beat.
“This is unbelievable,” says Byakuya. “I'm walking the rest of the way.”
He tries to open the door, only for it to not budge. Hopefully it's just child lock, though he wouldn't be surprised if the door is broken.
“Unlock the door,” says Byakuya.
Yasuhiro shakes his head. “No can do, I’m afraid. It’s too wild out there, Togami-chi. And hot... Without the air con, you’d melt within seconds. This is for your own safety.”
As if on cue, the people outside start jumping and screaming. Touko yelps and hides her head under her arms, as if a group of hooligans will leap over to their car and start stomping on it too. It's peculiar how someone so strong, who had helped save a city, save the world, is cowering at ordinary nine-to-five workers dancing. Then again, Touko has always seemed to view the world in a unique way.
Touko is a peculiar person.
“In here, we’re safe. There’s nothing to worry about,” says Yasuhiro. Byakuya tears his gaze from the roof.
“We’re due at work very soon,” he reminds him in a tight voice.
“Ah.” Yasuhiro wags a finger. “That's where you're wrong. Check the teachers’ group chat.”
The smirk on Yasuhiro's face is unbearable. Byakuya pulls out his phone and swats at the screen until he brings up the aforementioned chat. Near the bottom is a message from Makoto Naegi.
‘Hi all, classes are cancelled today - there's a music event going on in the city centre and most of the students are bunking off to take part, so I figure we may as well officially have a day off today. Have fun!’
“What sort of headmaster is this?” Byakuya says in disbelief, staring at his phone.
“One who was a close friend of the person everyone’s celebrating, as well as the older brother of a fanatic Sayaker,” replies Touko.
“Look on the bright side, now you’re not going to be late,” says Yasuhiro, grinning widely. “You can stay here with me and Fukawa-chi without worry!”
Either Byakuya can brave trekking back home through the city in the heat, where it's congested and he risks being swept into a stampede, or continue to sit in Yasuhiro’s car.
“Tell me, princess. Now when did you last let your heart decide?” warbles the radio.
Byakuya starts pulling harder on the door handle. Yasuhiro twitches.
“Togami-chi! You’re gonna break my car!”
“And it’s not already falling apart?” Byakuya snaps.
A rare look of seriousness washes across Yasuhiro’s face.
“I see now... I know what’s happening.” Yasuhiro opens the sunroof. “You’re hungry. Tell you what. There’s a generic fast food restaurant nearby. I’ll grab us an early lunch before the midday rush. You two stay here and I’ll be right back. You can pay me back later.”
“Wait. Why are you able to leave but not me?” asks Byakuya.
Yasuhiro gives him a pitying look. “Togami-chi, I hate to break it to ya, but you look like the sort of person that people would want to rob.”
“What?”
Without another word, Yasuhiro climbs out through the sunroof. The car shakes a bit as he clomps across the bonnet before jumping off. Then he disappears into the crowd, leaving Byakuya and Touko alone in the car together.
“The only person who has been robbed is me, as you've stolen my heart,” says Touko, placing a hand over her heart.
Byakuya’s eyes roll. “If I possessed your heart, you would be dead.”
As quick as a cat, Touko clasps her hands together and says, “Ah... that explains it.”
“Explains what?”
“I died, and so I am in heaven...”
Some people have the nerve to clap back at him. Others just have the capability. Few possess both qualities. In the past, Byakuya would have dismissed her as being stupid or delusional, but he has come to acknowledge, almost admire, her responses.
He clicks his tongue. With the sunroof open, music pours in from outside, a song called ‘Girls Are Yummy.’ It meshes with the off-key singing of the audience, and the radio's tune.
“That fool left the sunroof open,” says Touko, squinting upward.
“And he left the radio on,” adds Byakuya.
If he's going to be detained in Yasuhiro’s car for some time, he may as well try to make himself more comfortable. He leans over between the front seats. First, he locks the car, in case someone tries to drag him out and get him to join in the celebrations. Then he focuses on the sunroof and radio. Though he succeeds in shutting the sunroof, which only slightly muffles the noise that had been pouring in from outside, the radio doesn't respond to any of his button presses.
This goes beyond the CD tray being jammed. Frowning, he stretches over to take the keys out of the ignition, but the music continues even then.
“What...?”
Without the engine on, the radio shouldn’t be able to play anything. Yet it is. After a few more attempts at pressing on the radio, Byakuya stops shy of punching it, instead returning the key so they can have air con again and withdrawing back.
His weight shifts. He wobbles. Falls backward. And onto Touko's lap.
“Yes, you want her. Look at her, you know you do. Possible she wants you too. There is one way to ask her,” sings the radio.
“I was enjoying the view before, but I think I prefer this side of you,” says Touko, smirking.
Byakuya’s face burns. “You need to watch your mouth.”
“Do I? We’re finally alone,” says Touko, undeterred. “Now that oaf’s gone.”
She isn’t wrong.
“Nobody’s paying us any attention,” she says, with a smile that sends a shiver down him. “They’re all engrossed in the event.”
That smile used to repulse him. Used to make his skin crawl, his stomach flutter. He supposes her smile still has that effect on him, but now he doesn't mind the sensation so much. Dare he say he might even like it. Enough that he brushes some hair from her face and tucks it behind her ear so he can see the curve of her lips better.
“In that movie by Tsukamoto, despite the danger of being around the main character, her guardian angel loves her and lets her use him as a punching bag,” says Touko.
“Perhaps he is just a figment of her imagination?” he suggests lightly, his hand resting on her cheek still.
Touko hums. “He could be real.”
“You referred to him as a guardian angel.”
“That’s not a contradiction.”
Byakuya clicks his tongue, looking at her while she looks at him. When her smile widens, he smiles back slightly.
“Sha-la-la-la-la-la. Float along and listen to the song. The song say kiss the girl,” the radio warbles.
It wouldn’t have mattered if a different song had been playing, or if the radio had been silent. Byakuya still would have leaned in, and their lips still would have met. His eyes flutter shut. Keeping his hand on her cheek, his other holds her upper arm. Their mouths lock together, slowly enough that the movement doesn’t disturb their glasses. He can’t see her, and with the cacophony going on all around them, he can barely hear her either, barely hear her quiet mewls and hitches of breath. But he can feel her fingers curl in his hair, feel her body press closer. A hand lands on his thigh. And he can feel her warmth.
When his head draws back slightly, his lips tingle. Hers remain puckered.
“I suppose it’s not too bad being here after all,” he remarks quietly. To think he would be saying this in Yasuhiro Hagakure’s car. Or while surrounded by fevered idol fans. But Touko has always been an anomaly. When others defy him, his spit becomes acid. Yet when she stands her ground, he places his feet by hers. “Though I’m surprised you accepted a lift from Hagakure this morning. I thought Naegi and I were the only guys you felt comfortable being in a car alone with.”
“That’s still true...” Touko squirms a bit. “I would have declined if he hadn’t said he was giving you a lift because your car wouldn’t start.”
That makes Byakuya flinch.
“Byakuya-sama?” she says, confused.
“That can’t be right,” he tells her. “Hagakure stumbled upon me when my car was refusing to start. Then after I got in the car, he said he was on his way to collect you...”
Byakuya looks away from her, as if expecting the car’s interior to grow teeth and crush them. For a trap, any trap, to be revealed. Instead, he spots Yasuhiro, whose grinning face is pressed against the window. Soon after, Touko notices him too and shrieks. Yasuhiro jolts back with a scream.
“Hagakure!” Byakuya seethes while Touko disentangles herself from him. Both are equally flustered. He could ask Yasuhiro how long he was there for, but right now he’d rather not know. “Explain yourself. How were you able to tell Fukawa you were giving me a lift to work this morning before I told you that my car had broken down?”
“I... um...” Yasuhiro tries to smile again. “I have good intuition?”
“I will phone your mother in precisely three seconds if you don’t explain yourself.”
“No! Anything but that!” Yasuhiro squeezes his hands together, trembling. “Okay, so I might have loosened the battery terminal before you went out this morning... but I did so with good intentions! You and Fukawa-chi were about to get together and kiss just now, ‘right? I’m doing you a favour.”
Byakuya stares at him, wide-eyed. A few seconds later, his brow furrows.
“Idiot,” he says. “We’ve been dating for five months.”
Yasuhiro’s head jerks back. “Huh?”
Touko’s initial shock at seeing him quickly melts. She shoots a fiery glare his way.
“W-Weren’t you paying attention when Byakuya-sama announced our new relationship status at lunch five months ago?” she asks.
“I think I was going through a phase with a certain mobile game and must have missed him saying it,” says Yasuhiro, scratching his head.
“We’ve held hands on multiple occasions,” says Byakuya. “We’ve kissed in your presence.”
Yasuhiro clicks his fingers.
“Oh yeah. That’s right, I remember now. Well, anyway, I brought lunch.” He tries to open the door. “Can you let me back in please?”
“No,” says Byakuya. “You wanted us to be alone in here, so we’ll give you your wish.”
“And we don’t need any of your shitty food either. We h-have the lunch I made for myself and Byakuya-sama to enjoy,” adds Touko.
“Hey, I put a lot of effort into setting this all up!” Yasuhiro shoves his paper bag containing fast food against the car window. “I had to prove my loyalty to the Official Sayakers Fan Club by buying a year's membership, then I had to get a tattoo on my butt before they’d hear my idea out on their reddit. Also, it’s my car!”
Only Yasuhiro would think that would endear himself to anyone in any way. Byakuya wishes he was in the driver’s seat so he could run Yasuhiro over. Except there’s too much traffic to move the car even if he wanted to. Traffic that Yasuhiro created with his pointless scheme.
“Scram!” says Byakuya.
“Ignore him, darling.” Touko touches a hand to his cheek and turns his head toward her. “Or would it help if I distracted you?”
Before he can think of a reply, her lips soar up and latch onto his. A shiver washes through Byakuya, tingling in his extremities. He’s fully aware that Yasuhiro can see them, and though Yasuhiro has seen them kiss before, this feels different somehow. Like being in this enclosed space means what they’re doing should be totally private. Yet when she pushes him onto his back and lies on top of him, he has no desire to break free. And when her tongue kneads at the divide between his lips, he grabs her behind with one hand and opens his mouth.
If Yasuhiro likes movies so much, Byakuya will give him a full goddamn performance.
“No! Please!” Yasuhiro bangs on the window. “Not on the seats! I only just got them cleaned from when I tried this with Naegi-chi and Kirigiri-chi last week!”
