anyatheromanov:
“Honestly, it’s not something I spend a lot of time remembering. I’m still trying to wrap my head around everything. I do have a question about that, though. Say I drank a whole bunch and was super drunk and then you fed off of me, which, for the record, I am still not offering, but could you get secondhand drunk?” It would really suck if he honestly couldn’t get any effects from alcohol at all. There had to be some way around it. Anya paused and laughed lightly at his uncertainty. “Twenty-one. Which is why we’re going to a club.”
Anya gave him a casual shrug and a coy smile. “Yes I am. What are you going to do about it, hmm?” Despite the fact that she was definitely still terrified of what he might be capable of, there was a part of her that undeniably excited by that exact fact. He brought out the kind of reckless and brash and impulsive side of her, and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t really like that.

Jack shook his head, "Sorry, Miere. It doesn't work that way. Although it does make it taste differently." Jack liked the taste of vodka and whiskey. He wasn't much of a fan of tequila, be it in blood or not. Nothing else really changed the blood. And when it came to good blood, Jack didn't want something to mask the taste. "Twenty-one. That's important here, right? Let's get you to this club and properly celebrate."
Jack's eyes followed the curve of her smirk, "I can think of two solutions. One of which you expressly taken off the table. The other, well, that's entirely up to you." His tone was suggestively flirtatious. "Although, it is your birthday. I guess I can allow a little teasing just for today."

Jack’s lips lift on one side as the smirk tugged it upward. Stop those thoughts, he was chastised, stop then right now. Jack let out a small groan and rolled his eyes as the voice in his head grow increasingly more annoying as he furthered his walk with Anya. Tree! The other voice shouted but Anya avoided it just in time. She doesn’t need my saving, he noted to himself. Don’t finish that statement, I know what you’re thinking. Jack huffed a laugh at the conversation that went on in his mind.
”In case I have forgotten, you just reminded me,” Jack replied in reference to her use of the language. “Do you remember that I am over two centuries old? One hundred eighty-one of those years I’ve spent unable to enjoy the benefits of alcohol that the living do. My birthday is usually a passing day like the rest. But I will celebrate yours with you however you wish. You only get to be...” he paused unaware of how old she was the begin with, “how old are you turning?”
Jack felt he was struck by an arrow when she shot him a smirk. He wasn’t expecting it but he was at the same time. Don’t get too comfortable, his mind whispered, it is me who she first said yes to go on a date. He smirked and gave a dark chuckle, but it was me she let feed on her and it was me she kissed. A fact that the darkness constantly reminded the meeker mind. “Slowpoke?” Jack replied jokingly as his mind became silent. “Are you teasing me, Miss Anya?”

Before he could comment again, the taser was away. It was a shame. Jack had so many more witty comebacks to dole out. But he was sure she would say something to open the door for his humor once again.
And surely she did. “A club and a friend? Who is this woman before me?” He pretended to gasp. “It’s like a barely know you.” Which was comical because she didn’t know him. Well, she knew Jack but she didn’t know of the difference between the two or the existence of the darkness for that matter. “And you want a drink? I like Squib Anya. She can stay.”

Anya spun to fix him with a mock glare, walking backwards as she responded. “You’re not the only one with a secret side, Jack. A girl has to have her mysteries too. Mine just aren’t as spooky, I’m afraid.” She let out a laugh and faced forward again just in time to avoid running into a tree. “You do remember that I’m Russian, right?” She didn’t drink nearly as much as she used to in her teen years after getting kicked out of the house, having pretty much alcohol-ed herself out at 18, but Anya was capable of holding good amount of alcohol still. “Plus, it’s my birthday, and if I didn’t drink, then what kind of celebration would it be?”
As they got closer to the town, Anya could feel her level of excitement rise again, and the spring in her step return, making her walk faster. She shot Jack a smirk as she sped up, “Keep up, slowpoke. Aren’t you supposed to have like superhuman speed or something?”

Jack didn’t hide his laughter as she scolded him in her native tongue. “That was a little hard to follow but I caught the gist. Although, I’d like to let you know that your taser wouldn’t do much against a vampire. It would annoy me to have to throw out this shirt but I could easily buy a new one.“  Then he flashed a smile. "Noted. Anya is off the menu.” Well, until she wanted back on the menu. Jack recalled her saying the same thing once before and he’s fed from her twice. If she’s smart, she’s done with the likes of you, his mind whispered. If you’re smart, you’ll shut up.
As she walked away, Jack followed and listened. Her use of Russian Swear Words was spectacular. He was very impressed. Which wasn’t much of a surprise. Anya was impressive, even to him. And as much as he loved watching her fume, he was curious as to what she was planning to do. “What does the birthday girl have planned in Greylock’s Landing? Is she going to visit moi? I'm flattered.”

It was still weird that declaring that she was off the menu was even a part of the conversation. And it was weirder that it didn’t freak her out as much as the idea initially had. Though, she supposed it was because in comparison to all the other bombs that had been dropped on her in the short amount of time, vampires existing just kind of seemed like another box to tick off the list. She could barely hear him walking, was he always this quiet?
She almost jumped again when he spoke, even though this time she was expecting some sort of comment from him. “I heard of this club, thought it’d be fun to look into. I was going to go get a few drinks, maybe meet up with a friend. Believe it or not, I have other friends in this magical world of yours.” Well, one friend. And it was only a friendship on Anya’s side, she was pretty sure. But Jack didn’t need to know that. “You’re welcome to come with me, if you want, but only if you buy me a drink.”

flomato:

When Flora wasn’t at work, she was most likely to be found in the park or in her room sketching down designs. Today she was at the park, baby blue checkered blanket sprawled underneath her as she leaned against a large oak tree. She had a book settled in her lap and she was positively engulfed in it, at least until she heard someone clear their throat.
“Oh, hello!” Flora grinned brightly, “Want to sit?”

Jack hated sunblock. He hated the way it felt and how it smelled. But on a nice sunny day, he was forced to wear it in copious amounts or stay inside until the sun set. Thanks, Argyrisism.
He happened to be walking through the park on the mentioned sunny day when he walked by a familiar face. "Flora, right? And don't mind if I do." Jack's lanky figure folded up into a pretzel-like shape as he sat in the shade.

Of course Anya thought she was alone, so the moment she heard a voice coming from behind her, a startled scream was pulled from her throat as she whipped around toward the sound of the voice. Quickly, her fear turned to annoyance and anger upon seeing Jack’s face, and she waved her taser toward him. “Mother fucking…Jack! I should still tase your fucking ass, you can’t just sneak up on a girl in the woods and not expect to be tased!” Her heart was racing, and she could hear her blood pumping in her ears. It was all she could hear. “And you keep those thoughts to yourself, asshole. My arteries are not on the menu.” Her voice was still an octave too high, but she hardly cared about how she sounded when she’d nearly been scared out of her skin.
Anya turned on her heel and stomped onward, her brows furrowed and her hands fisted at her sides. She grumbled under her breath a line of obscenities she was sure he could hear with his stupid vampire hearing, but she wanted him to hear it. With every word and every step, the anger and adrenaline started to fade away, but that didn’t mean she was about to let him get away with it.

Dimension Bio// Jack Skellington // 21 // Ilvermorny Student // Cultural Anthropology
Jack Skellington was born in a small village in Romania. He was always a strange boy but people seemed to gravitate toward him anyway. That was what led him to run for mayor at 18.
However, on Halloween of his twentieth year, there was an accident and Jack was exposed to the blood of a person with Argyrisism. When he was diagnosed with the blood disorder, an old friend came forth, the Darkness. The Darkness was what his family referred to as his other personality. Jack has Dissociative Identity Disorder and the Darkness was a way for his mind to cope with stress. Jack feels to get rid of one problem, he needs to find a cure for the other.
One of the only hospitals in the world to treat Argyrisism is in Adamsville. Which coincidentally is near a school where he is eligible to transfer to in order to continue his studies in cultural anthropology. Jack doesn't fully understand the feud between the people in Greylock’s Landing and Adamsville but he enjoys observing it.

anyatheromanov:
Anya wasn’t the type to make a big deal over her birthday, she didn’t really have anyone to celebrate with most years. No family, very few friends, it was all kind of sad when she thought about it too long. But it was her birthday, so sad thoughts weren’t allowed. She made her way to the woods for the first time since her talk with Jack, heart racing as she stared at the trees. There was no one in sight from what she could tell, but she held a taser in her hand just in case someone thought she was a witch and tried to attack. Usually, she just went for a cupcake or something on her birthday, but she was 21 now, and she wanted to do something special. With a deep breath, she made her way into the woods and hoped that she’d remembered the path they took well enough that she wouldn’t get lost. “Another day, another year,” she said aloud as she walked, “and hope that this doesn’t come back to bite me in the ass.”
Tumblr media
Jack truly failed to see what the lighter saw in the no-maj. They weren't that fascinating. Well, most weren't. There was Anya. But the Darkness wasn't sure if his fascination for the squib was over her actual character or that the Sweetness didn't want him to be interested in her. Either or, Jack did enjoy her. And as a breeze came through with a hint of her mixture of shampoo and whatever Jack imagined she lathered all over herself (until he was scolded for thinking such things), he couldn't help but be drawn to it. To her.
Another day? Another year? Jack heard her mutterings as he drew near. Perhaps it is her birthday, Sweet Jack chimed. Maybe it is, the darker side replied. Whatever it is you are thinking, I know it and I do not approve. Then he snickered.
"Luckily for you, the posterior doesn't contain any desirable vessels for feeding. However, the femoral artery, which isn't too far of a bite from the aforementioned ass, is quite desirable," Jack stated as he positioned himself to come up from behind and possibly avoid the taser. While it wouldn't hurt him, it would burn a hole in his shirt. The shirt was a newly acquired favorite.

Meg had made her way to her Horned Serpent dorm and was standing in the doorway just staring at the mess that needed to be boxed up and then brought to the house. She sighed softly and leaned against the frame, already exhausted. Meg heard the sound of footsteps coming down the hall toward her, and she turned her head to look at them. “Did you hear? They’re kicking me out.”

Jack was leaving Horned Serpent after having a light snack when he spotted Hades' fledgling. "Kicked out?" He snorted a laugh. "You're immortal. I'd say that's hardly a concern. Wait a few millennia and come back."

“Ribcage tattoos are fairly easy to hide, ” he said while revealing his own tattoo of a bat hanging upside down beside blood red roses. ”Most of my tattoos were done in Europe. However, Rapunzel got one done in Greylock’s Landing. The artist did a very good job.”

“You don’t have to have a mermaid to be beachy. A beautiful tidal pool would suffice, I think.” Then he laughed. “Well, it would be rather large but isn’t the saying ‘go big or go home’? That could apply here if you would like it to.”

Job requirements and everything these days. You never know.” Ariel gave a decisive nod. “Do you know where I should go? Are there any decent artists around here or am I going to have to travel?”

Claudia || Self Para
Trigger Warning: Vampire feeding, blood, sex.
Just try it.
No.
Everyone says it’s enjoyable.
No.
Then let me try it.
No.
Fie.
Go away.
No.
I should’ve locked you away.
But you love me.
That I do not.
Be quiet while I look for dinner.
The coven arrived in Bucharest to celebrate the naming of the city as the country’s capital. Jack excused himself and went out hunting alone. Well, as alone as he could be with the other nature within his mind.
So, he sat in the darkness of a pub as he watched the no-maj move about. A young woman came over to the secluded table and offered Jack a weak smile. “I haven’t seen you before. Are you new or just passing through?”
“Passing through,” Jack said in his deep joyful tone as he leaned into the table. Some of the candlelight illuminated his sharp features causing the young woman to recoil a stride.
“I hope you enjoy the city. I don’t know if you know or not but it was just named the capital.” She gave a faint smile as she shuffled her feet.
“Actually, that’s what brought me here,” Jack’s long fingers rapped against the edge of the wooden table. He could hear her heart’s steady thud against her chest. The sound of her blood as each pulse forced the life-giving drink through her veins echoed in his brain.
“Really?” She squeaked out.
“Yes. However, what I don’t know is your name,” Jack was naturally talented with people. Even before he was a vampire, people just seemed to like him and his way of being. Most said it was because he was always a gentleman. That made the other side laugh. If they only knew what he was capable of.
“Claudia, Sir. My name is Claudia,” her chestnut eyes held his gaze as she introduced herself. Then they dropped to the floor and her cheeks reddened.
“It is a pleasure to meet you, Claudia. My name is Jack. Why don’t you sit?” His lengthy arm motioned toward the empty seat beside him as he gave her a soft smile.
“Oh, no. I mustn’t.” She looked back at the bar. “I’m supposed to be working. I just wanted to say hello.”
“And what is it you do?” Jack was curious. That was another part of his natural personality, before and after his change.
“Barmaid but I’m not any good at it,” she answered honestly.
“Oh, I’m sure you’re wonderful.” Jack leaned back into his seat and let the darkness take him back in. I’m bored. Find something else to play with.
“Claudia!” A man from behind the bar barked causing the young woman to jump. “Get back here.”
“I must go. It was nice talking to you. I hope-“ the man barked her name again and she ran to his call.
Jack didn’t have to see what happened after the two no-maj dipped into the back of the pub. He heard it just fine; the contact of a heavy hand on delicate flesh and the way a petite frame slammed into the oak door. What he heard made his blood boil. He knew he would have to do something about it.
The night progressed and he didn’t see Claudia return. He could hear her in the depths of the pub but she didn’t return to talk to him. This saddened Jack. He found her presence enjoyable.
However, another woman came to visit Jack. He could tell what she was before she opened her mouth. The man sent her to keep him company. Jack wasn’t in the habit of taking on the ladies of the night. However, the darker side of him convinced him to make an exception for the night. Terrify her, he whispered. The owner will lose out if she no longer works for him. It’ll be a fun scare. Do it for Claudia, and that was the final note to convince Jack of what he was going to do.
“Would you like to go somewhere with me?” His charming demeanor oozed as he spoke with the woman, Delia.
“Of course. Where were you thinking?” She’s far more forward than Claudia, Jack thought.
“I’m renting a room not too far from here,” the suggestion made his insides crawl but his face didn’t show it. He was good like that.
“Just know I do charge,” she offered a hand with her statement.
“I’m well aware,” Jack said as he took it and lead the way from the small pub into the night.
The walk was boring. Or at least it was to the other nature. When they entered the room, it was a different story. The moonlight shined through the windows and cast an eerie grey light upon everything it touched. The farthest reaches, where Jack and Delia were, remained darkened as the moonlight receded with its rise.
The woman pressed her form against Jack’s as she craned her neck to kiss along his collarbone. She let out a seductive giggle as she went up on her tippy toes to trail kisses up his neck. “Is everything okay?” She asked as her hand palmed his groin.
“Yes,” he groaned. He enjoyed sex. That wasn’t the problem. It was that Delia was a stranger and the connection wasn’t there. Let me takeover, his darkness sang. I’ll show her a good time. With that, Jack let his other nature take the reins.
He spun her around and made quick work out of pulling up the skirt of her dress. She let out a small gasp as his cold fingers pulled the crinoline from her waist and set it aside with a flick of the wrist. His grin grew when he noticed the bare skin hidden beneath the layers. He shouldn’t have been surprised seeing that sex was her line of work.
Jack unbuttoned his jacket and freed himself from his trousers. “Well, there you go,” Delia chimed with excitement as she peered at his length. Then she gasped as he swiftly filled her center.
Where Jack was sweet and gentle, the darkness was rough and crude. His movements were precise as his fingers dug into her flesh. The smell of her blood as it beaded at his fingertips filled the air with its metallic scent.
As Jack’s immortal body found its finish, he pulled her body against his. Then he gruffly grabbed her neck and exposed the delicate skin at the bend of her neck. His fangs sank deep into her flesh and a squeal came from her lips. When she realized what was happening she panicked. She squirmed against his hold but it was futile. Jack let some of her blood flow freely down her neck and it slid between her cleavage. Her shrill scream pierced Jack’s sensitive hearing and made the vampire wince.
“Sh,” he whispered as he clamped a hand over her mouth. “Or I’ll kill you.” Don’t say that, Jack hissed. He was right. Jack shouldn’t have said anything. It only made her fight more. Her blood spilled out and stained the fabric of her bodice. “Enough,” he ordered as he tightened his grip. “Keep squirming and you’ll end up killing yourself.” With his words, her frantic movements halted. Her breath was still ragged but he was able to manage to feed without killing her.
When he was done he whispered in her ear, “you can thank your master. If he puts another hand on Claudia, I’ll make sure to repay it to you tenfold. Do you understand?” She nodded and stumbled away from him. “Now go.”
“B-b-but I-I-I,” she looked at her blood-soaked dress.
“But nothing. Take your money and go,” he held out a coin purse and opened the door.
As she left, the darkness receded back into the depth of Jack’s mind. Let’s not do that again, he commented as he faded away and the sweetness regained control. “Deal.”
Aside from a decision to never try to mix sex and feeding again, Jack made it a point to keep tabs on Claudia from the pub. He was happy to see the fear he inflicted on Delia made its point. Claudia worked without incident until she was married off. Her husband was a stonemason. She birthed three sons and one daughter. Jack followed her children, her grandchildren and the generations to follow, keeping tabs and making sure they were safe, too. He knew it wasn’t his job to be so protective of the descendants of one young woman he met briefly but he wanted to.

Say Bye to the Darkness || Flashback Self Para || Part 1
Andreea Skellington was plucking clean linens from the line as she heard her toddler speaking to someone. “Iancu,” she carried the basket and went to investigate her son, “who are you talking to?”
“My friend,” his sweet voice chimed and she hurried to see who was with him. As she turned the corner around the small house, she saw her son sitting alone.
“Where did your friend go?” The witch’s tone was worried. Who was there? Why did they leave?
“He didn’t leave, Mama,” she looked around to see what her son was talking about. “He’s in here,” the innocent little boy tapped the side of his head.
Time passed and the friend in Iancu’s mind seemed harmless. Iaon and Andreea chalked it up to being an imaginary friend. Well, until it became more than just their son’s imagination.
“No,” the young boy whimpered. “I won’t do it.” Iancu’s eyes were closed tightly as tears stained his cheeks. “I said no!”
After hearing her son’s cry, Andreea ran to his aid, “Jack, what’s wrong?”
“He wants me to hurt someone,” the small boy buried his face in his mother’s skirt as he clung to her side. “I don’t want to hurt anyone, Mama. I don’t want to be bad. He-he wants to be bad.”
Andreea grew up in one of the scariest wizarding towns. Not much gave her cause for fright. Except for the day she realized there was a monster living inside her son’s mind. The Skellington’s went to many witches and wizards but none knew what to do to remove the friend from their son’s mind.
“Jack?” His father entered his son’s room afraid of what he would walk in on. “Son?”
“Iaon?” His son’s voice asked his name. “Tata?” The chuckle that left his lips sent chills down the older wizard’s back. “What is it, Tata?” The lanky boy stepped from the darkness with a maniacal grin upon his face.
“Leave our son alone.”
“I am your son. We both are your son.”
“No, Iancu is my son.”
“Jacky boy and I are one. You have him. You get me,” His typically angelic eyes were full of menace as they looked at his father.
Iaon pulled his wand out and lifted the tip toward his son, “Leave me son or I will make you.”
“Tata, please don’t hurt me,” the small voice pleaded. “Please, Tata!”
“Iaon!” His mother came running in and put herself between the two. “Put your wand down! He is our son!”
“He is not our son. He’s a monster.”
“Mama, does Tata hate me?” He whimpered as his mother embraced him in a hug.
“No, Iancu,” she scowled at her husband. “You’re safe.” And he gave his father a smirk. He knew how to protect himself. Just as long as his mother wanted to protect her son, the other voice was protected.
To be continued...
