तीर्थों से लाभ संभव नहीं है।

क्योंकि गीता अध्याय 16 श्लोक 23 में कहा गया है कि जो व्यक्ति शास्त्र विधि को त्यागकर मनमाना आचरण करते हैं उन्हें न सुख मिलता है, न उनकी गति होती। अर्थात तीर्थ यात्रा शास्त्र में वर्णित न होने से व्यर्थ साधना है।
