The Medici Family Circus is a successful show, with new acts and performances almost every week. Yet, beneath the bright colors and the cheerful laughs, there are the people - those who smile almost only for the crowd, while concealing their secret woes. Is true happiness really possible for the Farrier family? Colette/Holt. [Dumbo 2019, post-movie.]

The day Mr. Medici bought Mrs. Jumbo was one of the happiest of your life. Not only would you have new creatures to care for, but a baby as well. You’d never seen a baby elephant before.
Luckily, Holt returned to the circus around the same time. You had more room to focus on Mrs. Jumbo and her coming baby, though you did care for Annie's children quite a bit still. The arrival of such splendid creatures was slowly returning you to yourself, rather than who you’d become after her death.
“Hey uh, Y/N?” Holt interrupted you suddenly, “Can I talk to you about something?”
Slowly, you nodded, beckoning him into the crate with you. Mrs. Jumbo took one look at him and huffed, turning her attention back to you. You let out a small laugh as she mussed your hair with her trunk. Slyly, you slipped her a few peanuts with a smile and a kiss between her eyes.
“Look, Max told me all you did - for Annie, I mean. I know it wasn’t easy. So thank you for doing what I couldn’t.” Holt said awkwardly.
It was as if he’d dumped a bucket of ice cold water over your head. All of the progress you’d made moving forward and forgiving yourself vanished, sending you back to square one. Back to the feeling of total and complete self-loathing. Your smile vanished.
“Do not thank me. If I’d been better, Annie would still be here.” You said very seriously, refusing to look at him. Seeking comfort, you ran a hand over Mrs. Jumbo’s head. She nudged you sweetly.
“Now I’m sure that isn’t true-”
“It is. I accept my part in it, Holt, let’s not poke at it any longer.”
Holt Farrier had never been very good with emotions. So rather than push the conversation, he turned and left, leaving you to your sadness. Your loathing. The overwhelming feeling that you had failed at the only thing that mattered.
It was days before anyone saw you after that. You scarcely left the elephants and you certainly didn’t speak to anyone. Rongo and Pramesh attempted, but to no luck. There was only silence until the day Mrs. Jumbo gave birth.
You’d left her for a split second to freshen up, and when you returned she was surrounded by people. Then you saw the baby tumble out of the crate. You pushed your way through all of them, shoving Rufus away from the elephants. He was only hurting them.
“Watch it, little lady,” Rufus growled, “I’m just doing my job.”
All you offered him was a hard glare, before finally laying your eyes on Mrs. Jumbo’s baby. His big blue eyes looked around nervously as Max Medici raged over his ears. But where he was angry, you fell in love with the elephant. He was perfect to you.
Slowly, you approached him, crouching so you were at eye level. He shied away behind his ears. You waited patiently, a calm smile on your face. Every few moments, he would peer out and peek at you. Until finally he moved forward curiously.
You rubbed gently down his face, maintaining your calm demeanor. He had clearly been spooked by all of the people. Especially how loud they were being. But he leaned into your gentle touch, letting out a happy noise.
“Welcome to the world, beautiful boy. I’ve been waiting for you.” You whispered so only he could hear, before pressing a kiss to his head. He let out a happy squeal and snuggled closer to you.
And thus began your close friendship with baby Dumbo.
----
“Hey, Y/N?” Rongo caught your attention, “Some important looking people went to see Dumbo. I think you should be there too.”
Brows furrowing, you nodded, picking up your pace and heading in the direction of Dumbo’s tent. How could Max invite people to see him without you? You had cared for him the whole time. He was more to you than he was to the rest of them.
You burst into the tent, worried that something was going on. Milly and Joe were there, along with Max, and two people you didn’t recognize; a slimy looking man with white hair and the most beautiful woman you’d ever seen. Though you didn’t let yourself focus on her for too long, worried entirely for your little elephant.
Dumbo squealed excitedly when he saw you. Stumbling over his ears, he moved to your side, intent on cuddling into your side. You gave him a loving smile.
“This is the woman of the hour! May I introduce Miss Y/N Y/L/N, Dumbo’s caretaker.” Max Medici said grandly, making you look up from where you were playing with Dumbo.
“Ah, the miracle worker. A pleasure.” The man said, holding out his hand.
You’d barely heard him speak, but you already disliked him. The way he looked at Dumbo with dollar signs in his eyes, or how he had a condescending way about him. You just glared at the offered hand; which he rescinded without fanfare.
Behind him, the woman’s eyebrow raised curiously. You briefly made eye contact with her, though you were distracted by Max and the slimy man walking off to talk business. Then the tent suddenly felt too small with everyone in it.
“Come on, Dumbo.” You said softly, before turning to leave, said elephant hot on your heels.
The woman watched you leave with a curious look. You were the most capable woman in the room and yet you had no care for any attention. All you cared about was the elephant, Dumbo.
He had caught her attention, but you’d caught her interest. A hard feat for someone who seemingly had it all. But something about you drew her in. She was determined to get to know you.
——
“So you are the one who cares for Dumbo?”
She caught your attention as you were walking with said elephant, matching your pace. You didn’t really look at her. Instead, your gaze was focused ahead. Though you did give her a nod.
“My name is Colette, Colette Marchant.” She said, holding out a hand.
You looked up at her, meeting her eyes fully for the first time. You recognized the name. Though you’d never seen her face, you heard wondrous tales about the ‘Queen of The Heavens.’
“Pleased to meet you.” You said quietly, taking her hand.
“The pleasure is all mine.” Colette said, offering a charming smile.
You offered a small, shy smile in return. There was a worry that the beautiful woman would press for more, but she never did. You let out a sigh of relief.
“They say you taught Dumbo to fly, non?”
“Oh, no,” You said softly, “He knew how to fly, I merely offered encouragement.”
“How does he do it?” She questioned curiously.
Rather than give her a verbal response, you pulled a beautiful pink feather out of your pocket. Dumbo caught sight of it instantly. Excitedly, he moved towards you and the feather. You crouched down and held it out to him. He inspected it with obvious glee, before accidentally sucking it into his trunk.
You took a quick step back as he let out a bit of a huff, before sneezing and letting the feather fly. The amount of air shot him off of the ground, where he maintained his flight with his ears. He excitedly flew around you, chasing the feather.
Colette had taken a few steps back in shock, watching the little elephant in wonder. Her eyes widened and she let out an awed breath.
“No wonder you were fond of my shoes.” Colette said to the elephant once he was back on the ground.
“He does love feathers.” You agreed, gaining a small smile from the french woman.
The two of you stood there for a few moments, looking at one another in interest. But before you could work up the courage to say anything more to her, the moment was shattered. Vandervere had come back around. The gleeful look on his face made you feel ill inside.
“Come, Ma chérie,” He said to Colette, badly pronouncing the french, “It’s time for us to go.”
Her form stiffened as he put an arm around her waist. Though she nodded, you could see that she didn’t want to go. She gave you a nod as she departed, leaving you and Dumbo staring after her. And a weird feeling swirling inside you.
----
Over the past few days, you’d been working closely with the french woman to perfect your act. You weren’t fond of the idea, but you lost your say. Vandvere’s word was law. Colette was to ride on Dumbo’s back as he flew around the large tent; The Queen of The Heavens and The Prince of Elephants, together in flight.
Though you disliked the act, you had liked spending time with Colette. She was patient and kind, never forcing you to speak if you felt uncomfortable. Not to mention she was stunningly beautiful. You found yourself entranced by her at all times.
Now as the show was beginning, you felt nervous. Something felt off about the tent. It could have been the sheer size and amount of people, but it was more than that. Something was missing.
As Colette was lifted up to the platform with Dumbo, you realized there were no nets. It left you feeling sick. What if something happened? A jump like that would kill her.
You rushed to demand the men with nets put them up, but the damage had already been done. The crowd let out a gasp and you heard Colette’s shriek. She was barely hanging by the covering on Dumbo’s head, dangling perilously over the side of the platform.
“Put up the nets!” You yelled at the men, but they refused to listen.
The sickening sound of ripping fabric echoed in the space, before Colette let out a fearful shriek. You didn’t hesitate to run underneath where she was, looking to cushion her fall in anyway you could. It felt as if her safety was resting on your shoulders.
She managed to make it to the ground okay, thanks to the fabric snagging on another part of the platform, softening her fall. And she fell right into your arms.
“Colette!” You said worriedly, pulling her into you.
“Oh, ma chérie.” It came out as a gasp, before she buried her face in your neck. Her frame was shaking in your arms and there was the wetness of tears on your neck.
“You’re okay, you’re okay. I caught you.” You whispered to the shaking woman.
It seemed to calm her, but only slightly. You could feel her ragged breath on your neck. A fall like that would scare anyone. It felt more dire though, knowing how it all could have ended. How nobody bothered with nets. All on Vandervere’s orders.
"Mon chevalier." She breathed into your neck, though you barely caught it.
Everyone was yelling about locating Dumbo. You worried for the elephant, but knew he was smart. He wouldn’t go anywhere without a reason. But you felt your heart drop into your stomach when Vandervere made a beeline for the two of you.
Colette seemed to sense his approach, wiping her eyes and pulling away from you quickly. She offered you a wavering smile. Though you were both reeling from the near-death experience, you knew what he was going to say. The show would go on tomorrow, despite today’s events. It was all or nothing.
----
“Colette?” You said softly, stopping your instruction of her and Dumbo.
Looking up from her hold on the little elephant, she raised a curious eyebrow. It was rare you prompted conversation. Usually you spoke when she spoke to you.
“Oui?” She asked.
“Are you… sure that you want to do this? I don’t want you to get hurt.”
Her eyes softened as she moved from her spot, taking your hands in her own. She pressed gentle kisses to the back of each one. It made you melt, but did nothing to quell the worry churning in your stomach. You were terrified of seeing her hurt. You had failed to help Annie, your sister, and feared failing Colette in the same way.
“I will be alright.” Colette said confidently.
“You’re sure?” You whispered.
“As long as you are there to catch me, mon coeur.”
Colette seemed to hesitate, before pulling you nearer to her by your hands, and placing a gentle kiss on the corner of your mouth. You froze. Never had you imagined being in such a position, but you felt lucky to be so close to her.
When you froze, she began to pull away, fearing that she’d overstepped. You stopped her immediately. Seeing the barely contained interest in your eyes, she finally leant forward and pressed her lips to yours. It felt like a dream; one you never wanted to wake up from.
Her lips were soft and gentle on yours. Almost timid in how careful she was, before pulling away to lean her forehead against yours. You closed your eyes to take in the euphoria of the moment.
“I’ll always be there.” You vowed to her.
“Then the show must go on.”

Love is blind
Colette Marchant x Reader
Tumblr media
Words 1880
A/n I originaly had a much longer idea in mind for an obsessive Colette fic but I decided to hold off on that idea, if y'all want it maybe I'll get around to writing it sometime this year.
Warnings, obsessive behavior, and maybe a slight controlling behavior. I don't think there's anything else but let me know if I forgot something.

Max Medici selling his circus to V.A. Vandemere might've been the best thing to ever happen to you. You, your brother Holt, your niece and nephew and the rest of the circus all moved to Dreamland Amusement Park. You know the only reason you're here is because of Dumbo, the flying elephant you and the kids have been taking care of, but you're still happy to be here.
The best thing about moving here was Colette, the beautiful trapeze artist. Ever since you met her, back at the old circus, when she came with Vandemere to see Dumbo, you haven't stopped crushing on her.
You're starting to get the impression she might like you back, there are things she does that make you wonder. Like when you catch her staring at you or when Vandemere showed you to your new rooms and they were next to Colette's and she smirked at you as she passed by, and then now, she kept eye contact with you while she practiced her trapeze.
You and Colette were the only one in the practice tent, You had shooed the kids and Holt off, Vandemere gave the kids passes to go on all the rides, Colette was getting better at riding Dumbo so You and Holt decided the kids and him could run off and have fun before Dumbo's first show, tonight.
You watch as Colette and Dumbo fly around the room once more before landing, Colette hops off Dumbo. Dumbo runs over to you immediately, nearly knocking you over, you kneel down and start petting him. Colette clears her throat, getting your attention, you look up to see her staring at you rather intensely. "What do you think, are we ready for tonight?" Colette asks, never taking her eyes off you.
"The two of you are improving a lot, but I think your bond could be closer." You say, looking at Dumbo then her again, you continue. "Dumbo knows you, but he doesn't have a relationship with you, you're just the lady that rides on his back. There's no friendship between you too." You explain, scratching behind Dumbo's ears while he leans into your side.
Colette huffs. "And how am I supposed to build a closer bond in just a few hours?" The French woman's visibly annoyed that you're critiquing her performance, you roll your eyes. "Come here." You say, gesturing her over. Once she's close enough you grab her hand, pulling her down to kneel beside you, then you guide her hand to the spot on Dumbo's head he loves having scratched.
After a minute of giving dumbo love and affection he rolls over to cuddle closer to Colette, causing her to genuinely smile. As she continues petting Dumbo you take the moment to stare at her, taking in her beauty. She catches you, you snap your head back down to watch Dumbo, hoping she doesn't think you were really staring at her. You start berating yourself for being stupid, but you feel a hand on your knee.
You look up to see her staring intensely at you again, your heart starts beating so loudly your scare she'll hear it. Colette leans in slightly causing you to let out a shaking breath, making Colette smirk and lean closer, she glances down at your lips then back up to look into your eyes. You're so nervous you can't even lean forward to close the distance between you. Just as you feel Colette breath ghost across your lips the doors open, causing you both to pull away quickly.
Vandemere walks in followed by his bodyguard, Vandemere looks at us on the ground and asks. "Why aren't you practicing?" He's clearly annoyed we're not. You clear your throat "Dumbo's been flying all day, he needs to rest before tonight's performance." You say, voice a little shaky. You see Colette smirking in the corner of your eye.
Vandemere nods "Ah yes well, I came to talk to you anyway, about something important. There's going to be a red carpet before tonight's show, a few reporters and photographers, and I want YOU on my arm tonight." Both you and Colette say "what" at the same time, you're shocked and nervous about the idea, Colette's angry.
"Shouldn't your girlfriend accompany you on the red carpet?" You ask, look from Vandemere to Colette. "No, I don't want Colette being seen until Dumbo and her's performance. And I want Dumbo's trainer there." Vandemere says, growing annoyed.
You try once more to be out of this. "My brother is also Dumbo's trainer, so are the kids."
"The kids are too young for these kinds of things, and your brother doesn't have as pretty of a face as you." Vandemere says, trying to be charming. You sigh in defeat, and agree to do it. Vandemere claps his hands together excitedly. "Wonderful, I already have some seamstresses in your room, so let's go get you into a gown for tonight." And quickly ushers you out of the tent.
You spend the next few hours trying on countless dresses and getting your hair and makeup done, until you're finally ready. You're nervous but you're able to get through all the interviews with a smile, "you're almost done" Vandemere whispers to you while you pose for pictures. You start to relax, happy you've gotten through this with nothing to bad happening, but then Vandemere does something stupid, he leans down and kisses you. A short quick peck on the lips, you immediately pull away, and storm off, praying no one took a photo of it.
You go find Holt and the kids in the main tent, backstage getting ready for Dumbo's performance. Luckily Colette's nowhere to be seen, you don't know if you can face her right now, Holt asks if you're okay and you lie saying you are.
The night ends in more chaos, there wasn't a net during the performance, Dumbo slipped and almost caused Colette to fall. Then Dumbo flew out of the tent and found his mother in a wild animal exhibit, and Milly ran off. After finally finding Milly, you start the long processes of walking her to her rooms then walking to yours. Somewhere between finding Dumbo and finding Milly you broke a heel. So you're walking barefoot, once you're finally in your room, you strip off your dress and fall into bed.
You wake to a banging noise coming from somewhere close by, you roll over in bed curling into your blankets, trying to ignore it. After a minute with no signs of the sounds stopping you get up to see where it's coming from and if you can make it stop, you grab a robe tying it tightly around yourself before going to investigate the noise. Upon entering the main lounge area you find out the noise is coming from someone bang on your door, assuming it's Holt, you march angrily to the door, ready to tell him to go away.
You yank the door open, to find a very angry Colette, holding today's newspaper. You can't read the newspaper because of how she's holding it, but you assume it's about her performance and that's why she's mad. Sighing you opening the door wider signaling for her to come in, she does and as soon as you close the door your back is slammed into it. Colette's body pressing yours to the door one hand on the door by your waist the other by your head, you're shocked, unable to comprehend what's happening. Colette's eyes burning with anger and something else, her almost ragged breath hitting your face.
You're a little worried but that doesn't stop the feeling burning in your lower stomach, you start to squirm but don't make an effort to move away. Colette notices this causing her to grin, she pushes herself closer to you and ghosts her lips against yours, never letting your lips touch even when you try closing the distance. "Colette." You whimper, pleading with her. Her grin only grows. "Aww you poor thing, you're so desperate for me." Colette coos, teasing you. causing you to go weak. Colette moves to your neck, her breath hitting it, and you can feel her teeth graze your jaw. You whimper again, causing Colette to chuckle against your throat.
Colette moves closer to your ear. "Just say the magic word." She whispers, seductively. Then continues teasing you. "Please." You gasp, desperately. You're not sure you can take much more of her teasing. Colette wastes no time, moving her hands from the wall to your face and kisses you, pulling you closer to her. You kiss her back immediately, melting into her. You grab onto her shoulders, steading yourself. Colette's tongue slips into your mouth, exploring, dominating. When Colette starts to pull away she bites your bottom lip pulling on it before releasing it and you.
Your gasping for air you didn't know you needed, still on cloud 9 from the kiss. Colette leans back, a grin on her face as she admirers you. Her hands still resting on your face, she caresses your cheeks with her thumbs. Her grin widens, you see on her face that she just had a thought, you start to ask but she beats you to it.
"You seem to have enjoyed this kiss more than yours last night." She says, smugly. And traces your bottom lip with her thumb. You're shocked, you really thought no one had seen it. Colette raises an eyebrow at your stunned expression, then proceeds to pick up the paper she must've dropped when she pushed you against the wall, and read from an article. "...After my talk with V.A. Vandemere and the lovely flying elephant trainer, Miss (Y/l/n). I witnessed a moment between them, a kiss, one that ended with Miss (Y/l/n) storming off…" Colette finishes reading it and looks up at you.
You blush, embarrassed that someone not only saw but wrote about it. "I um.. Did you read the part where it says I stormed off." You say weakly, avoiding eye contact.
"I did." Colette says, annoyed. But somehow you know it's not you she's annoyed at. You chance a look at her, but when you do you're caught in her intense stare, unable to look away. "Please don't be mad, I didn't like it." You say, trying to reassure her.
Colette lightens up on her stare, she comes closer to you again. "I know baby, I just don't like it when people touch things that belong to me." Colette coos, and gently grabs your chin. "You do belong to me, don't you?" Colette asks, her voice low. Almost daring you to say no.
If you weren't so in love with her you might've been able to tell how dangerous this was, might've questioned the tone she used, maybe you would've seen the way she stared at you when you weren't aware. Maybe you'd question why your room is next to hers or why it's so far away from your brother's when you know there's vacant rooms closer. But you're in love, you don't notice any of it.
You look at Colette with so much love and adoration, and tell her what she wanted to hear. "Yes."

THE ORIGINALS SEASON 5 - ALL THE FACTS AS OF PREMIER DAY 18TH APRIL 2018 - All ship information, TVD character cameos, new characters, flashbacks, how the show will end and other tidbits (also 'accidental’ spoilers the writers didn’t want us to see)
DISCLAIMER:
These are compilation of spoilers issued by the writers and cast themselves through social media, SDCC and text/video interviews, also IMDB listings. Please don’t read if you don’t wish to have spoilers for the upcoming season. The ‘accidental spoilers’ for the season are going to be posted under a cut, so those who want the official spoilers and wish to stay away from the other ones can do so.
Below is a summary of everything we know so far about season five. I’ve sourced where possible, though for some things there is no available source, (such as Danielle Russells instagram live video which isn’t available in it’s entirety, though I watched live and wrote down what she said as it was airing, and a photograph from Carina Mackenzie’s instagram of a draft of 502 which was not screenshotted.)  At the time of posting, all tweets are active, though tweets can be removed at any point. This is up to date at time of posting, I’ve scoured and added everything I could find. If I’ve missed something out, please link me and I will add on.
For SDCC 2017 facts, I’ve simply put “SDCC” as the source. Here are links to watch the SDCC panel  - (xx)
A compilation of like 97% of the bts photos are here (x)

On returning special guests:
Nate Buzolic, Claire Holt, Danielle Campbell and Sebastian Roche are all also returning for their roles as Kol, Rebekah, Davina and Mikael respectively. (x)(x)(x)
Julie said there’s a chance Cami, Finn or Jackson will appear this season. Soon after posting this, Leah Pipes was on set for one of the final episodes (x) (x)
On the Mikaelson Family:
There are “several” Hope/Elijah scenes and “a few” Rebekah/Hope scenes (Danielle’s insta live)
"This season is about the Mikaelsons trying to find a way to bring the family back together" (x)
Danielle Russell said Hope was 15 (in her insta live) and that eight years have passed, which was originally said during SDCC by Julie also. However, Julie has stated seven years elsewhere (x) (There seems to now be a general consensus 7 years has passed)
Hayley, Klaus and Hope are ‘a family’ (Danielle’s insta live)
More sister bonding for Freya and Rebekah will be in the show. (x)
Klaus’ true ship of the season is the family (x)
We can tell that a lot has changed, but as the siblings have been alive for 1000 years, it’s almost like a blink of an eye for them. (x)
Hope and Klaus have a strained relationship, despite Hayley and Freya trying very hard to keep them all close. Klaus ignored Hope over the years and Hope isn’t thrilled about it. (x) (x)
Nobody at school knows Hope is a Mikaelson. (x)
Riley describes Freya’s first love as her family.  (x)
Hayley has found happiness with her new boyfriend Declan (x)
Freya is experiencing peace for the first time in her life though struggling to put herself first, she’s in love and happy, though working to bring her family back together and has also been very active in Hope’s life, working as her mentor and support system, which causes conflict with Klaus. It has also been stated that she is in her late 30′s / early 40′s but has physically aged slowly (SDCC)(x)(x)(x)
During the time jump, Klaus has gone on a murder spree (SDCC)
Hayley and Hope have a typical chaotic mother/daughter relationship and there  will be ‘many’ scenes with the two of them together. During the time jump Hayley has helped Hope with school projects, focused on her personal life, and also tried to overcome her heartbreak to be strong for Hope. (SDCC) (x) (x)
Marcel will reflect on his past and how he’s managed the quarter. (x)
We see why Rebekah makes the same mistakes over and over, going deep into who she is. (x)
Klaus hasn’t been in touch in five years (x)
Klaus visits Elijah in Manosque, France and converses with him, though Elijah has no clue who he is (x)
There’s a Freya/Elijah moment in which there’s tears of happiness (x)
Hayley is not in every episode this season. Elijah will also not be in at least one episode. However, Klaus is in all. (x) (x)
We get an episode that is Elijah from start to finish. We get to see where Elijah left off in the s4 finale, and what he’s been doing in the seven years that’s passed. Julie has said she had “Being able to write a narrative for Elijah that allowed him to live an entirely different life and imagining what that life would look like was a lot of fun,”  (x) (x)
Hope is aware of the kind of man her father is and what he’s done, and is annoyed he's trying to hide it from her (x)
On new characters:
Minor characters cast for the season include Nicholas Alexander as “Henry Benoit”,  Alexis Louder as “Lisina”, Katie Cook as “Poppy”, Malone Thomas as “Colette”, Jamie Thomas King as  “August Muller”, Kyle Jackson as “Lookie Loo”, Jason Burkey as “David”, Shiva Kalaiselvan as “Ivy”,  Bella Samman &  Allison Gobuzzi as “Josie & Lizzie Saltzman”  (x)(x)(x)(x)(x)(x)
Several love interests have been cast for main characters. Jaime Murray has been cast as Elijah’s new love interest Antoinette - “a beautiful, “old-school” vampire who meets Elijah shortly after he loses his memories. Her flirtatious, free-spirited nature masks dark secrets about her painful past” - who will appear in episode 3. Torrance Coombs has been cast as Declan - a flirty Irish chef completely ignorant to the supernatural until Hayley introduces him to it - and he’s to be Hayley’s new love interest. He’s been described as her ‘friend with benefits’ and Hayley has been described as ‘the woman he loves’ Jedediah Goodacre has been cast as Roman - “ a charming vampire who takes an interest in Hope after a “mysterious incident” occurs at her school” - Hope’s love interest. Another love interest for Hope includes Landon, portrayed by  Aria Shahghasemi  -   “a thoughtful, compassionate and self-aware kid from the wrong side of the tracks who catches Hope’s attention when she witnesses him being bullied by his affluent classmates,” & “desperate to escape his broken home and the small southern town in which it stands. Despite being human, Landon apparently has a shady past, and investigating it could lead him into the dangerous world of the supernatural.” - who will appear in the penultimate episode  (x) (x) (x) (x) (SDCC)
A character named Margot is set to appear, described as “a “calculating” vampire, whose glory days trace all the way back to 1920s Europe. She recently moved to New Orleans, and she has an “almost zealous devotion to her family.”  (x) It’s highly likely that ‘Margot’ has been renamed to ‘Greta Sienna’ and will be played by Nadine Lewington as the character descriptions are identical (x)(x)
On TVD character appearances
Candice King is set to appear in 4 episodes,  501, 506, 512 & 513, reprising her role from The Vampire Diaries as Caroline Forbes-Salvatore, Headmistress of the school Hope attends - it was also confirmed she recorded audio for a fifth episode. Matt Davis will reprise his TVD role as Alaric Saltzman in episode 512. Demetrius Bridges will also reprise his TVD role as “Dorian Williams” 501 at least (x)(x)(x)(x)(x)(x)(x)
Stefan Salvatore mentions are possible. And due to a bts photograph of stand ins that have hair unmistakably like that of Stefan, it’s almost certain he will appear along with his brother Damon. (x) (x) (Though in an interview, Paul has said he likely wont cameo, which means that the stand in’s may simply be filmed from the back to represent the Salvatore’s, though their faces and voices wont be appearing)
Regarding Flashbacks:
Summer Fontana will return as Hope in flashbacks  as we see her struggle with her magic as she grows older. (x) (x) ( Also confirmed by Danielle Russell in her insta live when she said she met Summer on set)
There’ll be a flashback to 1x22 show how Hope got her name (x) (further evidenced by this photo of Phoebe on set wearing her 1x22 post-birth costume)
On the final episode:
In the finale there’ll be a bench scene between Elijah and Klaus similar to the one in the first episode (x)
When asked about the finale, Joseph said “The family doesn’t all sail off together into the sunset. There is hope there, there is definitely some sort of peace for everyone. It’s very emotional.”  (x)
One of Julie’s regrets is that there was never a full scene on why Elijah believed Klaus had dropped the family into the ocean, though it is touched upon in the finale.  (x)
Julie says there’s no character who had their ending planned from day one (x)
The show probably won’t get a happy ending and it’s possible that the final words of the show may end up being the iconic “always and forever” (SDCC) (x) (Danielle said in her insta live that she believes the finale ties a lot of things together)
On Vincent:
It’s confirmed Vincent will be given a love interest and has just been carrying on with ‘business as usual’ in New Orleans, he’s been maintaining the stability of the city. He’s comfortable but vigilant. (SDCC) (x)
He is managing the quarter, restoring peace and calm (with a little help from Freya) (x)
On Hope / Roman
Roman and Hope is described as “Complicated but really interesting” (Danielle’s insta live)
Roman appears to be the only person who knows Hope is a Mikaelson, it’s unknown if he’s always been aware or is new to the fact.  (x)
On  Freya / Keelin
Freya and Keelin have a love that runs deep but they’ll hit hurdles along the way (x)
Freya is ‘so in love with’ Keelin - “Keelin definitely wants her to put herself first, and it’s just really hard for Freya. But I think you’ll start to see that transition a little bit, where she starts kind of considering, you know, ‘This is what’s best, and my family understands, and that doesn’t tear us apart.’ - Riley (x)
Keelin has been spending time with Doctors Without Borders, in the Middle East (currently in Lebanon) and is often away from New Orleans; Freya astral projects to her. They spend a lot of time apart, as Freya doesn’t want to leave the city till her family are reunited, this gets to Keelin. Keelin wants to spend the rest of her life with Freya, but wants to explore their relationship when Freya isn’t as connected to her family. Freya fears she’ll lose Keelin if she doesn’t join her in Lebanon. (x)
On Hayley / Elijah -
Elijah and Hayley will have a conversation about their past, future, regrets and dreams and their relationship this season is described as “equal love and pain” in regards to them, though Julie hopes the two will find peace in eternity together (x) (x) (SDCC)
Hayley & Elijah will appear in Mystic Falls during the season (x)(x)
On Marcel / Rebekah -
Marcel and Rebekah have remained in New York over the time jump, Charles joked they were ‘catching broadway shows’ and couldn’t get tickets to see Hamilton (SDCC)
They have a penthouse in New York, and they’re doing ‘pretty good’, coping well with the Mikaelson separation, though Rebekah does get upset and it sometimes causes tension. (x)
On Kol / Davina -
Kol and Davina are married in season 5, the wedding happened in the time jump. Nate described their relationship this season as  “The struggle that comes into play is now that he has this responsibility to his wife, he also has this struggle with his family. And I guess as he tries to separate from the family, his family tries to drag him back in. It becomes a bit of a struggle between wife and family.” (x)
On Klaus / Caroline -
Caroline and Klaus will have three scenes together in 501. She will be there to call Klaus out on his shit. Caroline also has at least one scene with Klaus in the season finale in New Orleans. (SDCC) (x)
Julie say’s that they don’t collide and get a happy ending - because she thinks their relationship is more mature than that.  In the same interview Joseph is satisfied with how the characters leave off, and he hopes the way it’s done will pay tribute to the fans and their devotion, but warns that not everyone will be happy. (x)
According to Candice, Julie has always had a ‘clear idea’ of what she wanted from Klaus and Caroline together, and the final season of The Originals gives life to that. (x)
Misc info:
The Hollow will remain a prominent enemy in the season, but there’ll be another big bad to contend with.  “The Big Bad this year is launched from an ideology more so than one singular person’s nefarious desire, It’s an ideology that was spawned almost a century ago, a movement that has been simmering and stewing over that century. It does have a personal connection to the Mikaelson family, but it also has a thematic resonance that is very timely.”   (x)
Every year, Josh, Freya, Vincent and Hayley prep for Mardi Gras together  (x)
Julie promises a ‘sliver’ of hope for Klaus and Cami fans (x)
Don’t expect a friendship between Caroline’s twins and Hope, it seems that the age gap isn’t workable for the three witches to become friends. (x) (x)
New Orleans has been at peace without Klaus (x) (x)
The werewolves still have their upgraded power, as Hayley and Jackson kept their vows until he died, and the werewolves will be included more this season (x)(x)
Caroline and Freya don’t have scenes together (x)
Caroline will also have a scene with Josh in 501 (SDCC)
Julie scripted a wolf!Klaus scene but it was cut (x)
UNDER THE CUT ARE THE ‘ACCIDENTAL SPOILERS’ FROM THE WRITERS ROOM. DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE SPOILED BEYOND WHAT THE WRITERS HAVE OFFICIALLY CLEARED
These are the ‘accidental spoilers’ - spoilers that were leaked by the writers unintentionally and the photograph which revealed them was quickly deleted. These have been put under the cut so those who do not wish to view them do not have to.
This was posted by the new showrunner Jeff Lieber, the storyboard is from episode 507 - it was promptly deleted
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As the image is hard to read, I’ll decode it down here;
Hayley dies in 5x06, she burns to death. Klaus tries to save her but is unable to as someone stops him. Elijah watches her death.
Elijah’s memory returns.
Someone (possibly Margot due to the last letter of the name being ‘T’ and she is the only character with a name ending in ‘T’) knows Hope could be the ‘Ruin or Salvation’ of New Orleans.
Margot is killed to protect Hope (Which furthers the theory that she knows Hope could ruin NOLA and may have tried to stop her)
Vincent is on the outs with Klaus and Freya
Keelin is pregnant - judging by the comment “Freya/Keelin resolution” it could be assumed that Freya is unhappy about the situation
Marcel and Davina reunite, and Elijah is going to help Davina with a problem.
There’s a flashback in 507 -which is presumably the 1x22 flashback that Julie has all but confirmed is where Hope’s name is decided upon  (due to the nature of the flashback and the episode in which it takes place in, one can assume that Klaus is telling Hope how she got her name in an attempt to comfort her) (also see this post here explaining how people came to the conclusion that the flashback is set in 1x22)
Hope goes missing and is searched for by Klaus and Caroline
Hayley’s funeral is in 5x07, Klaus speaks at her funeral. On the board there are several points questioning the kind of funeral Hayley will have, a second line typical of new orleans, or a crescent ceremony in the bayou -judging by info from fans who watched filming in Conyers (from videos that have now been deleted) - there was a second line funeral parade filmed meaning Hayley probably doesn’t get a Crescent ceremony.
Hope is angered by Hayley’s ‘calm funeral’ and is to make a ‘big move’ at the end of the episode.

Além disso, quatro canções que estavam na animação clássica estarão no filme: Can You Feel The Love Tonight? (Nesta Noite o Amor Chegou), Hakuna Matata, I Just Can’t Wait To Be King (O Que Eu Quero Mais É Ser Rei) e Circle of Life (Ciclo sem Fim).

Is This Why Meghan Markle Wore Aquazzura the Day she Got Engaged?
After meeting with Edgardo Osorio, founder of Aquazzura, I have a better understanding of what meeting with a prince must be like. The Colombia-born, Florence-based, trilingual Osorio has an old-world aristocratic elegance to him that makes me think he is either a) royalty or b) an undercover spy. Perhaps this is why Meghan Markle wore a pair of Aquazzura nude pumps the day her engagement to Prince Harry was announced?
Congratulations to HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement! Honoured to have the beautiful Meghan Markle wearing AQUAZZURA nude Pump on their engagement announcement today. #meghanmarkle #royalwedding #london www.aquazzura.com

Osorio is also the proverbial old soul, adept at speaking about colonial-era illustrators one minute, and mingling with guests at an intimate lunch inside the new Colette at Holt Renfrew, Yorkdale, the next. Osorio is the rare designer who doesn’t shy away from meeting his clients and, judging from his glam Instagram feed, (@edgardoprivate) he knows how to have a good time. Luckily, after studying at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins, Osorio also had the technical chops to justify starting a luxury shoe line in 2011 when he was only 25. In person, this international man of mystery, so adored by the Kardashian-Jenners and Meghan Markles of the world, easily wins us over while talking capsule collections, wallpaper, and the power of a good high heel.
FASHION: How many languages do you speak?
EDGARDO OSORIO: Three. Just three.
Just three! Have you been to Toronto before?
I haven’t been in a while so I wanted to be back and introduce the new summer collection and also the de Gournay collaboration.

Where did that textile come from?
The whole collaboration started because my house got shot for a magazine and the de Gournay family saw it. The entrance of my house has de Gournay wallpaper, which is actually in a colour quite similar to this one, and they’re famous for doing beautiful hand painted wallpaper in either silk or Japanese paper. It’s just one of the most beautiful wallpaper companies in the world. I love wallpaper. It gives personality to a room. So they call me and they say, ‘Why don’t we do something?’ It was very natural. So I designed a wallpaper for them called “Amazonia.” The Amazonia wallpaper is this imaginary jungle. I’m Colombian and we have the Amazon in Colombia. We have monkeys, and butterflies, and parrots, and cockatoos, and you have all these. I mean, if you see the wallpaper, I was looking at illustrations from the 18th century.
Illustrations?
Beautiful books that he would paint flowers and shells.  I’ve always been obsessed with Wunderkammer the Cabinet of Curiosities, and these kind of antique illustrations. I was thinking of all these things when I was designing this wallpaper, which I worked with the de Gournay family to create, and then I thought well I would love to somehow make that into shoes. And so we decided to print on silk crepe because it’s a beautiful material, it’s not satin. Silk crepe is somehow a little more durable.
Aquazzura x deGournay sandal
This actually is silk crepe?
And it’s more durable and it’s more wearable because it’s like you can wear it in the winter, you can wear it in the summer and then we embroidered on the silk threads because it’s not hand painted, unfortunately, because they would get damaged too easily, the shoes, so we had the wallpaper printed on fabric and then had it embroidered on top to give it life and it just looks so fresh. We did a first iteration of it in pink and it sold out in two days.
No!
All over the world.
I know you do a flat in this collection. What do you think of the running shoe craze?
Right now it is a craze, I think there’s a moment for everything. There’s a moment for a sneaker, there’s a moment for a heel, there’s a moment for a flat, there’s a moment for a sandal. It’s part of a modern woman’s wardrobe. I think when they take over your wardrobe, it’s also nice to have some variety, it’s nice to be a little more dressed up sometimes.
You’re a big believer in ‘pretty.’
Yes and as much as I believe in comfort–my focus for the brand is on comfort–there’s so much more variety of options [in shoes] where you can wear a mid-heel, you can wear a flat, a ballerina, there’s so many other shoes that you can wear that are so much more beautiful than maybe wearing a sneaker. I do like sneakers and I have them in my collection. But I also think that it’s all about balance.
There is nothing like seeing a woman wearing a heel. You stand taller, you walk in a different way, your legs look like a million dollars and you can’t compare. Obviously when you’re going to the airport or running around the city that’s not the case. There is a moment to wear a heel because there is nothing quite like it.

Can we just talk about the Sexy Thing bootie. What was it like to make that style and then see it explode?
The whole idea behind this was like wearing a glove on your feet. I call them second skin shoes, they’re not lined, so they really adapt whether you have a wider foot, a thinner foot, it doesn’t matter. They really mold to your skin so they’re the most comfortable thing you can possibly wear. And it just looks beautiful and modern and nice. It’s a beautiful fit and I actually designed the shoe by the pool in Portugal. I was in a vineyard and I was just drawing and drawing. I just wanted something that was all about lines and a very pure line and no embellishment, no nothing, just a beautiful shape. It was a bootie but it had these peep openings to give it…
Exposure?
(nodding) To show some skin…

Back to this again ;-)
And this time with two songs!
I know it’s not Saturday but... oh what the heck, I couldn’t wait to share this.
This fanart took me more time than I’ve expected. It was very hard to do and it still looks that I could’ve polished better some areas. But it’s better than nothing.
And yes, this gives The Greatest Showman vibes with Anne and Philipe’s song. ‘Rewrite the Stars’.

Boop!
Holt always knows how to stop the tension. They can’t stay angry at eachother that long.
I’ve thought of putting dialogue but I decided to let the images do all the job instead. So what they’re thinking is free for the interpretation.
And of course, here’s the song inspired on this ship and this fanart, ‘cause Colette is a “killer queen”. Enjoy:

Hey! I’m back!! Little by little but I’m trying to come back.
A very simple and short song but with powerful lyrics. And a very simple piece of fanart of my OTP ship but still romantic. (The position I draw Holt and Colette here is based on a tutorial I found in Pinterest, ‘cause I’m still not very good at drawing kissing positions yet :P)
As soon as I finish classes, that will be in a week, I guess, I’ll try to be as active as I was ;)

It has been 3 Saturdays that I skipped Colt appreciation day, I’ve been very busy these days. I’m sorry. But here it is again, it’s back!
Holt does not accept being called a ‘cowboy’, he’s specifically a horse rider.
But of course, Colette can call him cowboy ‘cause...she’s the exception.
LOL.

Translation of the song:
I can’t articulate the words
To express you that I love you.
I don’t know how to explain to you
What you make me feel.
Like it was like the summer
And winter doesn’t exist
As if everything stopped.
And with that smile, which changes the life
You looked over here.
And I cannot longer contemplate
That is not you who loves me...
Chorous:
And how to look at you?
To those eyes which leave me on January,
When I know that they’re not mine and I’m dying.
Destiny doesn’t want to see us pass, oh.
And how to tell you?
That I don’t want this love to be temporary.
That suddenly I know about a day and I’m wating for you.
Fate does not have to matter to us.
I don’t know how to be myself
If you’re not by my side.
These months will become long
If you’re not beside me.
And with that smile, which is never forgotten
You arrived and I saw you.
And I can’t handle anymore
That is not you who loves me...
Chorous:
And how to look at you?
To those eyes which leave me on January,
When I know that they’re not mine and I’m dying.
Destiny doesn’t want to see us pass, oh.
And how to tell you?
That I don’t want this love to be temporary.
That suddenly I know about a day and I’m wating for you.
Fate does not have to matter to us.
And how to forget you...?
If life has taught me that you came first
I don’t care about the distance
I love you!
And I know that in the end you’re gonna to stay with me.
I will wait for you!
When you truly love, time doesn’t exists.
And I swear that this is not the end of the story...
Fate cannot separate us.
How to look at you...
