Of all of Team Voltron, Keith wanted Pidge to be one of the first to hear the news.

The two have built up a friendship unlike any Keith’s known before ( ...not that he has m{any}to compare it to ) and he wants to get her response out of the way before he goes on stressing too much. A number of possibilities present themselves in his minds eye, very few ending well, but perhaps that’s just his pessimism getting in the way.

They’re friends, right? Like Shiro had said, he’s still the same Keith.

There’s just new knowledge that he has Galra ancestry---that Keith’s blood is mixed with the very same that runs through the blood of their enemies.

Where they hang at his sides, Keith clenches his fists, steels himself, then raises a hand to knock on Pidge’s door.

“Hey, uh---hey, Pidge? I need to talk... to you...”

Q1 :   if  you  could  write  your  character  your  way  in  their  own  movie ,   what  would  it  be  called ,  what  style  would  it  be  filmed  in ,  and  what  would  it  be  about ?           A1 :   While I’m quite sure Lance would love to have his own James Bond-esque thriller where he gets the girl, I’d rather have him in a coming of age story where he learns to grow into himself and his insecurities. As well as maybe, instead of getting the girl, he gets the guy. Wink wink.  Q2 :   what  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?           A2 :   Some soothing instrumental with cool drum solos Q3 :   why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?           A3 :   I’m used to writing ‘mom’ characters (see: Starfire (DC), Mitsuru (Persona4), a handful of others) but wanted to try something else out when I saw Morgan and Grey’s characterization. I wanted to introduce my own portrayal of Lance since I loved him so much. Although Keith used to be my favorite character, Lance has quickly wormed his way to first place. Lance is also the most relateable character for me. That marshmallow allergy may actually have something to do with Galra in-species biodivergence. If I’m reading this right. Also, you may be immune to cancer.

No time is wasted between discovering the note and heading for Green’s docking bay, and even though the doors opening are pretty telling of his arrival, he still knocks against the wall of the castle to announce his presence.
