Incredibly moved by this premiere. Passione got their A team working on this and it shows. After 6 months of Frieren, it’s great to get another long running grand adventure show. Never seen the original, but I know it’s beloved and I can already see why. The relationship between Holo and Lawrence already seems fun as hell.

Kevin Penkin on the OST, Claris ED too? Whew😮‍💨 2000s vibes are strong in this first episode, which is nice. Seems like they were able to bring the magic of that era to a modern audience thanks in large part to having the same director. Let’s see how it goes.

Another week not being married to holo sigh. It’s crazy how for such a beloved original work there’s like zero hype for this remake. Barely any comments in the discussion thread and just seems mute even on social media. But that’s cool, more Holo for me 😋

This episode was literally just dialogue in one room for 25 minutes and it’s still instantly improved my mood and one of the best parts of the week hands down. Great way to wrap up Holo’s jealousy arc and finally get she and Nora on good terms.

I actually didn’t think they’d go back to this bit so quickly after how last episode ended, but I’m ok with it because jealous Holo is so cute! Her face when Lawrence kept praising Nora for the gold smuggling arc success had me 😭 Lawrence my boy cmon now, spread the love.

I loved seeing Holo reflect on how impactful her time with Lawrence has been too! It’s amazing how you can live for so long and time just passes by and then you meet someone that ignites your soul like this and time just seems to slow down in the best possible way. I’d actually love to see what her adventures with other humans were like before Lawrence too

Soooooo cute how Lawrence tucked Holo in bed and cared for her in this episode! Feeding her too?!! I could watch an hour long sequence of this lmao. She was really milking it too as a payback for how he was praising Nora. “What is so special about her, is it the blonde hair?” 💀

Nah man, Lawrence so 🐶 💔 stop telling Holo you’re gonna have Nora go buy her shit lmaoo bro has zero emotional intelligence, love em though. Holo damn near sank into the bed when she saw Nora show up in her room to talk 😂 but they bonded over how dumb Lawrence is so fair play. The beef is finally over. Even Holo can’t resist how pure Nora is

Sonic Crack Ships

So lately I've been going through a Sonic phase though its mostly a Tails phase if im being honest with myself. I've been trying to watch all the Sonic media and read all the Sonic comics that I can while playing a few Sonic games here and there. So my messed up brain came up with this stupid idea. What if I put every version of every canon Sonic characters from all Sonic media into multiple rounds of the hunger games simulator until only ones left. So I did that and even though I literally did it yesterday I already forgot who won I just remember it was something stupid. I also did it with all the diffrent canon and AU versions of Tails I could find and the winner was actually Tails from Sonic Boom. But anyways im getting off track where im going with this is that today while I was doing nothing lying in bed my brain came up with an even more messed up idea. What if I put all the Sonic characters not including the humans into a random wheel picker on Google to form a bunch of crack ships. So I did it for every character on the wheel. I now have a list. And I have decided to post this list because I find it funny. And I dare people to draw a couple from this list together or make a short cute crack story about one of these ships. And if you do please send a link to me. Ill die laughing if anyone does this. Sorry if I misspelled some names. P.S. I tried to put pictures on here for each character but I couldn't figure out how. I already have a part 2 for this in the works with even more characters.

there's no point in a spice and wolf modern au bc the setting is so important to the story but lawrence would be a guy who goes to estate sales and uses his extremely specific knowledge of niche stuff like vintage baseball cards and mid-century modern furniture to resell stuff for big money. and holo would be a hologram who lives in his phone so she's always having voice calls with him and appearing in pictures with him but no one has ever seen her in real life. she can manifest a physical form for them to have s*x but she has to draw so much outside power that she causes blackouts

Tag nine people to get to know better Three ships: Ones that I've really enjoyed following throughout the series are Holo & Lawrence in Spice & Wolf, and Tristepin & Evangelyne in Wakfu (I recall shedding some happy tears for the latter couple at some event ahah). As for third let's just go and say Grenoldt & Mowen from FFXIV now that I've been working on the gatherer "relics". Not feeling too strong about any ships currently I think?

Currently reading: I actually just finished the first volume of The Raven Rings trilogy by Siri Pettersen. Tells something that I had to carry the book to work to read during breaks too :D So probs gonna be reading the second volume next, or read the next in line of the Hussite Trilogy by Andrzej Sapkowski since my bro lent me the book.

Currently watching: There are plenty on-hold animes that I haven't gotten the vibe for just now, and a plan to watch the Netflix One Piece at some point! Usually I just have a Twitch stream on, not right now though!
