I wanted to share the official playlist I made for this fic! I always make playlists for stories of mine, but I honestly really like this one and wanted to share it. I went way overboard on the cover, but it was still fun. I’ll probably reuse it when I post the first chapter of the fic, which I’m hoping will happen in the next couple weeks!

What role would you like to see Chris play next?

I've been on an Indiana Jones binge this weekend...it got me thinking about Chris in a similar role.....perhaps an adventureous astrophysicist

I would love to see Chris in more of a fathering role. I have been very vocal about Andy being my favorite character and why. I love the protectiveness of Andy. I love that his morals and duty became skewed because he had a need to protect his son. His job became secondary to his natural instinct to be a father.

Something we haven’t seen from him is a psychological thriller. Not campy horror, not gore, but that creepiness factor. I would love that. The things that make you think. To me something along the lines of Seven. I also love him as a cop, it’s my authority kink.

I do think he’s funny. So his friends telling him that he’s not need to suck my big toe. He was good in What’s Your Number. Him and Anna had chemistry. Can we get some more of that? I didn’t hate Ghosted. I’ve watched it multiple times. But I wish that it would have leaned more into the parody side of things. I think that’s what Chris was going for, Ana…it had a more serious tone to it. But imagine it really played up the camp? Make fun of the action/romcom.

I honestly would like to see him in a musical. That doesn’t seem to be the course in Hollywood these days, but things get recycled constantly. Even a jukebox musical! I wish they would stop remaking things. So something new and fresh, in the vein of Moulin Rouge.

While I LOVE Sebastian as Lee Bodecker, and I think Andy Barber was the superior choice for Chris, I sometimes wonder what he would have done with that character. I can’t see anyone but Seb in that role now. But it makes one wonder. Plus, him suggesting Sebastian for the role is precious. I love them.

The bigger question is what everyone else would like to see him in? I would like to see him shift his career further from action. It seems he wants to as well. Broaden your horizons, Christopher. But take chances. That is the best part of being in Marvel, he is given the opportunity to take risks with his career. Now, I want to see that come to fruition.

This Funky Little Band has Lived in My Mind Rent Free for the better part of seven months and now you all have to hear about it. Keep reading below the cut to justify the afternoon I spent writing all this up.

Formed in 2006, Three friends at George Washington University form a Band:

Ben Thornewill (Piano/synth/vocals)

The Most 2006 Record You Will Ever Listen To

Achingly Sincere Tracks About Love and Companionship paired with dark-humor apocalyptic numbers inspired in large part by the Bush administration and then-popular End-of-Days theorizing.

Everything Under the Sun

Just Plain Old Fun

A refined take on the formula set by Let Live and Let Ghosts, with the majority of songs running the gamut between peppy (or, in Siegel’s words, caffeinated) and sweet, with an apocalypse suite containing one of the Band’s all-time best numbers)

A Personal Favorite

Apocalyptic Songs Traded for a mix of topics ranging from anxiety and trueness to oneself to aging and mortality, with even the love songs (mostly) erring on the more serious sides of things. The album is Bittersweet, if more Sweet than Bitter.

My Favorites: Ghosts in Empty Houses, Man in the Moon, Say When, Adulthood, Somebody, Everybody Knows, At Last

Jukebox the Ghost Does Heartbreak

Seriously, almost every single one of these tracks has to do with romance and most of them aren’t the happiest about it

Arguably One of their more Boring/mainstream albums, and I can definitely see why some people aren’t the biggest fan, but it's just so much fun.

Jukebox the Ghost Gets Weird (and does a Little Queen in the process)

This album is All Over The Place, and while it doesn’t always work for me, it’s some of JtG’s best work when it does. This album has some of the band’s most well-known songs, and Alt-Indie contrarian though I am, even I have to admit that they’re pretty Fantastic.

My Favorites: Fred Astaire, Everybody’s Lonely, Diane, Simple as 1-2-3

The Essential JtG Album

The Apocalypse is back and better than ever! Apropos of Nothing, this album was released earlier last year (but is surprisingly Covid-free!).

Some of the Band’s best instrumentation and vocals to date; this album is full to bursting with classics.
