I haven’t posted art here for a while, but I thought I’d share my TTRPG PC Ruhn Greyspine. The setting is heavily inspired by How to Train your Dragon, and he’s a dragon hunter who is currently having a crisis about dragon’s intelligence and the fact that there is a society of dragon riders. The runes on his face are somewhat random but roughly spell out a version his name (Runi) and his dragon’s name (Hollowhunter) because the DM and I decided that the culture he’s from uses tattoos and body modification to mark major life events, hence his sharpened teeth and ears as well.

Also, he bites.

I thought I’d share it because I really like how the colors came out in a relatively quick and messy sketch.

Some answers on those ol' questions on how to advance the relationship? Luka: What do you do if you like a girl, but she likes someone else, but that other guy clearly doesn't realize it and is hurting the girl by going after her alter ego? Should I back off and like, let it play out? Help her get with the other guy? Try and win her over?… Should I try and seduce the other guy? Jagged Stone: … what the bleep is going on at your school? Luka: Oh I'm not in school, I dropped out of Lycee to help mom with the finances by getting a delivery job. The girl is from Juleka's class. Jagged Stone: Dropped out of--? Forget the girl kid! You need to focus on getting your damn degree! Luka: Wait what? But I thought all that mattered is the music and living life? Jagged Stone: Well yeah but that doesn't mean you should just forget about your education! I got myself a masters in musical theory and a minor in finance before I started touring! Now forget the girl, the guy, your little orientation crisis or whatever that was about, and get your butt back at your dang desk! I have to go and have some words with your mother!

in my book, there is a lot of briddish sheep drama bc of the diseases they are getting in the agricultural revolution bc of in-in breeding but every sentence reads is like:

By happenstance, upon his walk one fine evening, he saw parishioner Sir Lord Silvertooth Grutton Hadely Jonesth Oliver the eighth hundred of his name residing presently in his country home Pembershire Applewallow Tavernbuilt Wrinkly Dinky for the summer as London had been beset with "the stink".* (a real thing)

To the surprise and horror of the reverand many of the lord's prized Siddlebottomworth- hollowhunted -charlesatten sheep had taken a quite ghastly turn of ill health having come down with Meniscus rumhum, fairy lights, shirty zealth, counter clockwise earwax , and an inadherence to both time and space.

When asked what might cure his flock's ill's the priest was happy to oblige given his breadth of great knowledge and experience with sheep vigor. He advised a course of tobacco and mercy tincture with asbestos eye drops, which the Lord followed earnestly.

And lo and behold! All the sheep were dead before Scorpio season! This was generally taken as somewhat of a success really!
