Without his gloves pressing on a certain nerve (the only nerve still alive in his hands), his hands will shake uncontrollably.

That's why Jyuto wears any form of gloves or something that presses on that one nerve. He loathes how he has no control over his own body, and once he found a 'solution' (re: a temporary fix), he abuses it.

In one thread, he accepts this and will get it fix; but most of the time he'll ignore his own pain, nerves, suffering etc in favour of brute-forcing himself into his ultimate goal.

Akechi growled out in frustration as he tried to break free of the binds he was stuck in. Though he had no superhuman strength to possibly break free, he wasn't gonna sit still either. "So I take it you're not human... I wouldn't have been so easily tripped up if you were..."

"So what are you?" He asked looking up from his position on the ground. If he was gonna die, he wouldn't show any weakness to his foe.

"... Well, it appears to me the little piece of meat would be you," said the Lady, sneering down at the stranger as she took him in. He spoke boldly. Stupidly boldly, for someone in his position, but still.

A soft snicker escaped her lips as she rested a hand on her hip.

"Though that's nothing new, for me. You have my attention for the moment, and I'd advise you to be careful with what you do with that. I have a question to pose for you: is there any good reason you've intruded on my property?"

If not, she was sure she would find some good use for him -- another meal for her daughters never hurt. If anything, they missed having company.

Originally, he was speaking about what remained of a corpse nearby, but the question was returned to him in a most unexpected way.

Sure, he had come here following the menagerie of scents of different, freshly dead bodies. It had lead him to a place that was most beautiful in the way of art and architecture, so he couldn’t help his curiosity.

Now what head him into this room specifically is a scent he had never come across before. Neither human, nor being like himself. Something, or in this case, someone entirely new. And this being before him exuded eloquence, and a sharp eye. Like a lioness comfortably in her den.

“The reason was my curiosity.” he answered stoically as he gazed up into her eyes just as such.

It was the truth as plain as it could be.

“In the beginning it was the architecture that drew me here by chance, and then soon, the scents that followed. Like that corpse there.” he pointed out with his tattooed index.

“... You’re an honest creature, I’ll give you that.” And it was an intelligent move. He’d have paid dearly if he was stupid enough to lie, even if the truth was a little moronic itself.

As lovely as her home was -- and of course it was, she’d have had it no differently -- most people who smelled a corpse would have or should have gone running. This one didn’t. But... maybe it wasn’t so stupid after all. Perhaps this one was just used to that sort of thing. Dark, a little morbid, potentially useful.

“For someone seeing a corpse, you don’t seem all too afraid. And seeing me... well... I’m a little stunned that you’re not more alarmed. I do care for myself meticulously, but... well. You and I both know why most would be a little shaken. I’m sure I don’t have to explain that. So -- why aren’t you? Is this all just something you see every day?”

He could beat them. He could vanish, again. But, for what purpose?

Vergil looked at the man that supposedly embodied everything good in him, and he did not see even a shred of himself.

He saw V’s determination to set things right; even at the cost of his life.

He saw Nero carrying him on his shoulder, like a beloved comrade.

He saw them all; talking and laughing; a patchwork family, fearless in their unity.

And he was not there.

He, was the enemy.

This was something odd for a human to say to him. Of course, unless he had dealings with ghouls before. But then that would mean that he would already know what Uta was and wouldn't need to ask him that question.

"Nope, just another person like you." he lied stoically. "Besides, if I was something other than human why would I tie you up?"

Goro let out a huff of frustration, he couldn’t counter why the other did bother tying him up. At the same time however he didn’t believe his lie about being human either. There was more going on here then he knew about. That much was for certain.

“Fair enough. But if I can ask another question, why am I still alive?” He asked looking at the man who had managed to capture him.
