Holden laughs nervously, "Uhm... " he looks around to make sure you're not talking to anyone else. "You didn't mean me right?" His cheeks pink with the idea of someone calling him that.

A sketch of Werewolf Holden. He has other forms, such as a large wolf form. Being a druid I'd like to think he has a very good sense of his body and how big it is and where he's going. With the tadpole showing that it interferes with Astarion's connection to his master. I decided in kind to have the tadpole interfere with Holden. During the full moon, traditionally he would transform and have nothing in his beastly brain but hunting and eating. The tadpole is very territorial, and had told the wolf inside to "heel". Holden is much more useful when his mind is sound.

It wasn't till baldur's gate 3 that me and my friends started to play. We were fauning over Astarion and we all started to make characters to roleplay with him. I decided to resurrect Holden. Because of the story of how BG3 starts, it didn't seem farfetched at all to have a person who was wisked away from Barovia. Barovia is a horror vampire setting from Dungeons and Dragons. I happen to be running that session for a group of friends of mine. In this iteration, Holden is a druid who was a child of Vallaki. his parents sold him for some hag cakes, and he was saved and brought to the vistani. There they taught him many things, including how to survive in such a scary place. As Holden grew up, he worked with the dusk elves and took on druidic magic. It wasn't till he was of age that the vistani wanted him to travel to other realms, to find and bring adventurers back, to trap them in Barovia. He refused and was cast out, where he lived in Svalich woods for a time. It wasn't till he was 26 that he discovered an injured werewolf in an old abandoned house. Being mauled shortly after, he contracted lycanthropy. 10 years he spent as a mindless beast that was at the becking call of a vampire named Robin. Whom of which he was convinced, that this vampire, loved him. One day however a hag who was scored by the vampire, abducted Holden and put a spell on him. Allowing him back his mental faculties, and instilling some... submissive traits. The Hag was going to take him and make Holden her knew lap dog and protector. Among other things, he was to be her pet. Only a short time had passed since then and a nautaloid ship phased into their realm, whisking the werewolf away to be on the shores of the forgotten realms. Where he is learning to be a human all over again.
