Double Surprise | R.L.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: The Marauders and Lily come over for Christmas Dinner but you and Remus have a little surprise for them all.
pairing: remus lupin x fem!reader
includes: mentions of sex, talks of pregnancy, drinking, sirius and reader acting like siblings, overall just fluff
a/n: this idea came to me randomly 🤷‍♀️ (and it’s not even Christmas time yet??)
Tumblr media
Ever since you fell for Remus all those years ago, you knew he was the one you wanted to be with forever. He did as well. You went from talking, to dating, to engaged, and the latest: married. And every single time you fell harder and harder for him.
So it was no surprise that you wanted a child with him. A mini version of your love right beside you. After a long conversation with a worried Remus, you both decided it was time. You were able to soothe his thoughts about the full moon and a baby at the same time which you knew was his greatest worry. He didn’t want to accidentally turn you nor the baby into what he was.
With many nights of trying — although both of you could argue that some of those nights were much more passionate than others — you were finally pregnant with his child. There was no other way to tell your friends about the news except over Christmas dinner, of course.
“How do I look?” You bit the tip of your thumbnail in anticipation, looking at yourself through the mirror hung in the hallway. “Presentable enough?”
It wasn’t like you were scared to tell them… Actually, you were beyond terrified to tell them, especially Lily. She was practically a sister to you at Hogwarts and you always told her everything that happened in your life. And having a baby was the most important news of all.
“Gorgeous as always, dovey.” Remus murmured as he carefully wrapped his arms around you with his hand placed on your stomach, cradling the growing fetus.
You weren’t showing at all. You were barely two months, but you knew he meant it as a comforting gesture. You tilted your head to look at him properly and smiled when he placed a gentle kiss to your lips.
You parted and bit your lip softly, smiling even harder as you looked between his eyes. “What was that for?”
“Just admiring the one I love.” He nudged his nose with yours and kissed you once more.
The moment was sweet enough to give you a cavity, but the rapid knocking from your front door caused the both of you to snap out of it. You lean your head on his shoulder and shut your eyes for a second, letting yourself stay in comfort for a little longer.
Finally — after more aggressive knowing from the door — you sigh and press a loving kiss to his lips. “Get the door, please? I need to check on dinner.”
“You just don’t want get cold.” Remus patted your hip as you sent him a cheeky smile.
“You know me so well.” You blow him an air kiss as you sauntered into the warmth of the kitchen.
But even from the kitchen you could hear the shouts of the people at the door, which amused you beyond all doubt. Sirius — of course — was the loudest voice you could make out. His shouting loud enough for the neighbors to hear over the thickening snow.
“Moony, let us in! It’s freezing!” Sirius shouted as he pounded on the door with his fist, teeth chattering.
The next voice you heard was James. And it was no surprise to you that he used his wife’s name to get Remus to open the door faster.
“You don’t want Evans to freeze, do you?”
Finally, you heard Lily’s voice through the thick door. “It’s Potter now, but we all know I’m still your favorite, Rem!”
You snickered when you finally heard the door unlock and feet stumbling into the warmth of your house. The clunking of boots and your coat rack filled the air as you pulled the food out of the oven.
“Oh, thank Godric.” Sirius immediately collapsed onto the arm chair, propping his feet up toward the fire place. “I couldn’t feel any of my bloody fingers.”
Lily hastily placed her coat into James’ hand before directing her attention to the Welsh man beside her. “Remus, I love you, but I love your wife so much more.”
At that, you perked up and rushed into the living room, colliding with Lily and crushing her in a tight hug. “It’s my favorite Potter!”
“Hey—“
“Says you, Mrs. Lupin.” Lily kissed both your cheek and held you in front of herself to get a better look at your figure.
Thankfully, you wore a comfy sweater that covered your barely showing bump. Lily rubbed your arms, smiling so bright it challenged the sun’s rays. You tuck strands of hair behind your ears, face radiating pure joy.
“How did we both get so lucky?” You return her smile and lead her into the kitchen with questions trailing after. “How are you?”
James looked at Sirius and Remus in disbelief, still surprised that the girls left them faster than the speed of light. Remus shrugged and still had a lovesick look on his face.
“Yeah, I’m not doing that.” James propped his coat and Lily’s on the rack and snapped his fingers in front of Remus, sighing when he glared at him.
“Are you sure?” Sirius wiggled his eyebrows and nudged Remus with his elbow. “It could be fun.”
“You two are so weird.” Remus rolled his eyes and left them to set up the dining table, shaking his head when he heard the two of them bickering as they followed him.
“You’re part of this friend group!”
As the smell of Christmas dinner filled the house — along with chatter from all of you — it was finally time to reveal your surprise to the group. They were merely talking amongst themselves as they ate dinner, oblivious to the glances you kept sparing to your husband.
You were still anxious about how the reveal would go down. Noticing this, Remus brought your hand up and kissed the back of it with a look a reassurance. Now you knew you had to tell them.
“Mm, you know the Longbottoms? They have a child on the way.” Lily drank from her iced tea as she told you the latest gossip she heard since the last time she saw you.
“Really? It seems like everyone we know is.” Sirius swirled his wine around before downing it all in one go.
You grimaced at him, masking your face when he made eye contact with you.
He glanced around at the table and gave you and Lily confused looks, refilling his wine in the process. “Hang on now, how come you,” He pointed a finger toward your figure. “And you,” He then pointed at Lily. “Aren’t drinking wine? Christmas is the best time to drink some.”
“Saving it for the in-laws.” You waved a hand around and did your best not to project nervousness. “Besides, Remus isn’t drinking either.”
Sirius stuck his tongue out at you then quickly retreated when you sent him a dirty glare. He was about to protest when Remus interrupted. Remus knew that you two fought like siblings and it wasn’t needed today.
“Speaking of gifts…” Remus squeezed your hand and grabbed your attention once more. “Dovey got you guys early gifts.”
You nod slowly and clear your throat, letting excitement take over when you saw Lily light up. “We’re going over to his parents’ house for Christmas and I really want to see your reaction to this present. It’s one that can’t that long.”
As you stood up to find the presents for them, Remus guided them over to the living room right in front of the Christmas tree. The three of them sat across the carpet like children on Christmas morning. You handed them their gifts and took a seat next to Remus, his arm naturally moving across your shoulder.
Before Sirius could even tear into his gift, you stuck your hands out to stop him. He frowned and crossed his arms, almost like he was a child.
“Sirius— I want you all to open them at the same time.” You swiftly spoke and fiddled with Remus’ fingers instead, effectively calming yourself down.
All together, the three of them opened their gifts and suddenly, gasps filled the air. Lily and James’ mouths were gaping and you couldn’t tell if it was good or bad sign.
“What do you guys think?” You bit the inside of your cheek and leaned your head in Remus’ shoulder, trying to defuse the nervousness creeping up your body.
Sirius huffed and spun the picture a thousand times without looking at the other gift inside. “I can’t tell what it is… What’s written on it?”
“You’re kidding.” James looked between you and Remus before down to your stomach, running his fingers through his hair.
“Really? You’re being so serious right now?” Lily twisted the ends of her tissue paper in excitement, ready to jump all around the room.
“Hey, wait—“ Sirius tried to intervene, still clueless to what the photo was supposed to be portraying.
“Congratulations! The odds of this happening is pretty slim.” James stood and clapped Remus’ back, giving you both happy looks.
Your face twisted in confusion as you looked up at James, Lily trailing right behind. “What do you mean?”
“Me too.” Lily placed a delicate hand on her stomach, making you gasp in return.
“Really?” Your eyes shined brightly, grasping her hands in yours.
“Yeah, just found out a couple of weeks ago.” She shrugged and watched James and Remus converse about the new fatherhood they would embark together.
“Congratulations, Lils!” You giddily exclaimed and pulled her into another soul crushing hug.
Lily laughed in enjoyment. Not only was she happy you were pregnant, but she was overjoyed by the fact you were pregnant as the same time as her. Although you were ahead by a little.
“What is happening?” Sirius whined, throw the paper onto the ground before looking inside the gift once more. Once he found the onesie that said he was going to be an uncle, everything clicked into place. “Ohh…”
“You poor thing.” Remus rolled his eyes before meeting your happy eyes.
You radiated pure joy because of today and he swore that this memory would be etched into his mind forever. No matter what happened, he knew you always had someone to talk to about anything. He pulled your waist and kissed the top of your head, knowing damn well your face was red.
“I’m so happy for you, dovey.” He murmured softly and rubbed your stomach. “I love you more everyday.”
You look up and smile back, “I love you too, Rem.”

A Man With a Plan.1
prologue // p1 // p2 // p3 // p4 // p5 // p6 // p7 // p8
Remus Lupin x whimsical!reader - Hogwarts Era (no Voldemort) - Soulmate AU
CW: mentions of bullying - only one description of it, but it's chill cuz James tells them to fuck off like the king he is? Descriptions of werewolf behaviour idk. Use of Y/N
Synopsis: Remus planned to never fall in love. Moony had other plans.
“Don’t you think she’s just the loveliest thing, Moons?” James spoke in reverence.
Remus needn’t move his gaze from his book to know that Lily Evans just walked into the library – so he didn’t.
“Sure is, James.”
“Don’t be getting any ideas though.” James said as he nudged his friend. He was clearly trying to go for light and breezy, but Remus caught the nervous twinge in his voice.
“You truly have nothing to worry about, Prongs.” He muttered.
“What? Don’t like birds?” James asked, though he was still watching Lily make her way over to her friends.
“Who doesn’t like birds?” Sirius questioned as he appeared out of nowhere, swatting Remus’ feet off a neighbouring chair and taking the seat for himself.
“Remus, apparently.” Peter answered from behind his book.
Remus finally lowered his book to regard his friends. “That is not what I said.”
“He said he doesn’t like Lily.” James told Sirius, finally turning his attention away from this girl to look at his mate like can you believe this guy?
“I literally just said I agreed that she was lovely.” Remus guffawed.
“If you think she’s so lovely, why don’t you go ask her out then?” Sirius asked with a smirk, causing James to let out a strangled groan.
“What! No, common that’s like, against the bro code. Oh! Hi Y/N!” James cut himself off as he spotted you entering the library.
“Hello, James.” You greeted serenely as you started towards him. “What has your aura so pink today?”
This caused both Sirius and Remus’ eyebrows to cock, though neither of them interrupted yours and James’ interaction.
“We were just talking about how lovely Lily is.” James answered solemnly.
“Yes, I suppose that would do it.” You answered as you turned to follow James’ gaze.
“It’s funny, her aura turns the same colour when she looks at you. I wonder what that could mean.” You said softly, completely missing the way James’ head reared back.
“Well, I must be off. I’ve been trying to check out a book all week, but each time I’ve come to the library I’ve ended up distracted trying to clear the nargles from the shelves. The library is just full of them!”
Your voice was feather light as you bid a simple goodbye to James who returned it with an easy smile before you floated away.
James turned from your retreating form to see the bemused faces of his friends, sans Peter who still hadn’t raised his head from his book.
“What was that?” Sirius finally asked.
“What was what?” James asked as he furrowed his brows. “Y/N?”
“Since when are you friends with her?” Sirius continued.
“We have care of magical creatures together. She’s tutoring me, actually. She’s really quite nice.” James said as he picked up his own forgotten textbook.
Sirius, still not able to let it go, added, “She’s an odd little bird, isn’t she?”
James only shook his head. “She’s harmless. People give her a harder time than she deserves.”
“Perhaps...” Remus acquiesced. “But what the hell is a nargle?”
“Oh, not a clue.” James answered simply before beginning to work on his Ancient Runes translation.
Remus and Sirius exchanged one more look before moving to their own homework.
It’s not that Remus didn’t know who you were – Hogwarts wasn’t a big enough school to not know the other students in your own year – but there had never been any interactions between your circles of friends. Namely, Remus’ friends and whoever you happened to hang out with never seemed to intertwine. Remus had to assume you had friends – even he had friends, and he was a monster – but he had no idea who they could be.
Remus had to admit you were a cute little thing, if a little odd as Sirius said. James could be a lot of things, but he always saw the best in people; so, it really shouldn’t have surprised Remus that James had made a friend of you.
What Remus didn’t yet know was what your newfound friendship with James would mean for him.
Tumblr media
“So, what do we think? Does Lily here have some competition?” Marlene joked with a wicked grin as she threw her arm across Lily’s shoulders at the Gryffindor table.
“Competition for what?” Sirius asked around a mouthful of eggs from his spot across from Peter and Remus.
“James, of course.” Dorcas clarified.
Lily groaned. “I was never competing.”
“I mean, who needs tutoring in care of magical creatures? Don’t you just like, show up and feed them? Seems like a ruse to me.” Mary chuckled from her place.
Peter leaned into Remus before adding. “Does seem a little weird that James needs help in care of magical creatures, seeing as that’s exactly what he does once a month.”
Remus nearly choked on his tea before regaining his composure. Apparently, he hadn't regained it quickly enough.
“What’s so funny over there?” Lily asked as she narrowed her teasing-filled eyes at the two offending boys.
“Nothing at all, Evans. But trust me when I say you have absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to the future Mr. Evans-Potter.” He responded easily. All the mirth left Lily’s face as she turned her gaze towards her breakfast, but both Peter and Remus noticed the faint blush dusting her cheeks.
It was surprising to all, although not surprising at all (I mean, come on, James has been at this for seven years – it was bound to come about eventually), that Lily was slowly beginning to warm up to James’ advances. It probably helped that they were head girl and boy this year, it also probably helped that James was less annoying about it and far more polite with his advances, and it also probably helped that the rest of Lily’s friends really quite liked James.
As if summoned, James accompanied by Lily’s competition, entered the Great Hall together.
“I’d really like that, Y/N. Thank you!” James could be heard saying as the two of you approached his friends.
“It’s really no problem, James. I’m sure they’d love to have more visitors.” You responded softly. Remus noticed your smile was just as soft as your voice; he thought it was lovely.
What the fuck? Stop thinking people are lovely, you git. He scolded himself immediately.
“Who’s this little birdie introducing you to, Prongsie?” Sirius asked as he shot a salacious wink your way.
You furrowed your brows at him in confusion.
“Birdie?” You asked James softly. He smiled kindly as he turned to you. “A nickname, Y/N. The way Sirius just said it could be taken as a compliment.”
“Or an insult if you don’t appreciate such brazen flirting.” Dorcas added which earned her an elbow to the ribs from said flirt.
“Anyway,” James interjected, looking towards you somewhat awkwardly. “Y/N here was helping me study facts about thestrals when she told me she has befriended a wild herd not far from Hogwarts. She said she’d take me to meet them.”
“Meet thestrals? Can you even see thestrals, Prongsie?” Sirius asked inquisitively.
“There are other ways to enjoy the presence of beings without being able to see them.” You offered simply, your tone remaining nothing but kind even as you corrected him. Remus couldn’t help but smile at you.
Stop smiling, dumbass. He mentally berated himself.
“Quite right. I’d like to try feeding them and petting them.” James said with a level of finality. “If you think they’ll let me.” He added hastily as he turned to you.
You offered the git a soft smile and patted his arm placatingly. “I’m sure they will, James. In fact, I think your voice might be the perfect hertz; the thestrals will love your lower tones.”
The majority of the group just furrowed their brows at you, but Marlene began to cackle.
“Oh, sweetheart. It’s a good thing you’re pretty.” She said as she wiped a non-existent tear from below her eyes.
James’ eyes turned stormy as he locked his gaze on Marlene, but his voice remained somewhat relaxed as he addressed you. “Thanks again, Y/N. I’ll see you in class.”
You smiled politely at him before making your way over to your house table.
“How ironic is it that such a ditz was sorted into the house that values learning, wisdom, wit, and intellect.” She snorted, either missing James’ glare or ignoring it entirely.
“Marlene, I love you, you’re one of my best friends, we grew up together, you’re my sister from another mister, I would die for you.” he started, making sure she was looking at him before proceeding. “Do not make fun of my friends.”
Remus was certain his eyebrows had flown right off his forehead as he exchanged a look with his friends. Sirius and Peter seemed to be in agreement that they’d never seen James so stern as he sat down beside Sirius and started filling his plate. Unbeknownst to the boys, Lily was looking at James with a small smirk a look of respect from her end of the bench.
“So, boys,” James began, “I was thinking, for our next brilliant prank...”
And just like that, James was back to planning pranks with the Marauders as if he hadn’t just blown the entire Gryffindor table’s minds.
Tumblr media
The rest of the month went about the same; you and James could be found around the castle together, which Sirius was more than happy to take the piss about, and none of James’ friends made fun of you anymore - genuinely fearing James’ wrath ever since he hexed some Hufflepuffs who made a passing comment about you one day.
Remus didn’t think you noticed any of it, however; at least it didn’t appear that way. He found that quite remarkable. He found you quite remarkable.
He hated that.
It’s not that Remus was a prude, but he didn’t like liking you. It made him feel icky – out of control, like he didn’t have a say in any of it. Casual hookups were much more easy and comfortable for him, it was easy to roll over the next morning, say thanks, and carry on like nothing.
But just sharing a small nod of acknowledgment with you made him giddy.
He hated that.
He certainly hadn’t agreed to liking you – he had rules. Rules like – having sex with someone was fine, having feelings for someone was not. And he didn’t want to have sex with you!
Okay, that’s not necessarily true.
He didn’t not want to have sex with you, but that’s not what drew him to you. You seemed ethereal; otherworldly; perhaps a touch too pure.
Certainly, too pure for a werewolf.
Which is why he had rules in the first place; he would not allow someone to get tangled up in his curse of a life, to suffer through loving someone as awful as him. It was painful enough being Remus, he wasn’t going to curse someone to loving him.
So, Remus made a plan: he would ignore this friendship between you and James and pretend like you didn’t exist, only being as polite as humanly possible to stay within James’ good graces.
That plan was fucked to shit in potions.
The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff 7th year class was finishing up as the Slytherin’s and Gryffindor’s entered for their own class. Remus inwardly sighed as he spotted you across the room heading for the ingredient supply cupboard. Remus sighed again when some of your fellow housemates chuckled watching you struggle to carry the many ingredients on your own, none of which offered to help.
“Oh! Are you headed to the supply closet? Mind taking these too?” A snarky little witch (Remus replaced that W with a B in his mind) said as she placed another vial on top of your load without waiting for your response.
Remus had to give you credit, however, as all you did was smile kindly as you reconfigured the many vials and jars in your arms.
Remus sighed outwardly, and loudly, as he made his way to follow you into the supply closet.
“Here, let me help you with that.” He muttered somewhat petulantly like he hadn't just volunteered his help unprompted as he relieved you of some vials and jars.
You looked at him with a face of surprise which quickly morphed into one of gratitude. Remus loved hated it.
“Thank you, Remus. That’s very kind of you.” You all but sung to him. Your voice sounded like angels. Fuck.
Remus scoffed. “Not quite as nice as you, cleaning up for everyone else.” He muttered somewhat darkly.
You bobbed your head back-and-forth noncommittally. “Oh, I don’t mind so much. They do plenty for me in return.”
He turned to you, genuinely interested to hear what exactly those knob heads ever did for you. “Like what?”
You smiled to yourself as you continued placing ingredients in their rightful homes. “Well, they’re always keeping me on my toes by hiding my things around the castle. They must know how much I enjoy a good treasure hunt.”
Remus’ hand stopped in midair as he watched you continue to work. Did he hear you right? Did you actually believe these people were being kind? Did you think of those people as your friends?
“Or perhaps they don’t know that. Then in that case, I suppose the joke would be on them.” You said plainly as you turned your attention back to Remus, offering him a slightly pursed smile – like you were trying to hide the full extent of your joy at the thought, though the dimple that appeared on your left cheek gave you away.
It actually surprised a bark of laughter from him as he forced his hand to resume its task. “I suppose so.” He concurred.
Remus heard a small tinkling sound and a gentle ‘oh’ escape your lips as a vial rolled into his foot. You both bent down to pick it up, but Remus was faster. As he went to hand you the offending vial, your fingers brushed gently.
For Remus, you may as well have set off a bomb.
Remus swore he felt every neuron in his body firing at the same time, his blood cells turned to lava and his veins turned to ice, his feet felt like they were fully rooted to the dungeon floor below him while his heart thrummed and took off in flight from his body.
And through all of this, Moony was going feral.
“Pack. Pack. Pack. Pack. Mine. Mine. Mine. Mine. MINE.”
Remus ripped his hand away from you like it burned – and in some ways it did – but the newfound space between your beings seemed to hurt even more.
Remus’ chest was heaving, and his heart was going a mile a minute while Moony continued howling inside of his head. He could barely hear the classroom behind him through the blood rushing in his ears.
Remus could count many worst parts about this whole experience, but at this very moment, the worst part was your face.
Your head was cocked to the side like a confused cocker spaniel as your brows furrowed ever so slightly. You peered at Remus with a concerned gaze and your entire being just oozed kindness and understanding.
As if you could understand the clamoring of the 13-year-old werewolf living inside his brain screaming at him to lunge at you, bow down to you, fold you up and put you in his pocket, to crack open his ribcage and place you inside of him for eternity. What the fuck was wrong with him!?
“Are you alright, Remus?” You asked, so, so, so softly. In fact, you said it so softly that Remus was sure if Moony hadn’t just decided to dial into the exact channel of your frequency, he would have missed it completely.
“Yes.” He breathed as he shook his head no. “No. I don’t know. I-”
You nodded sympathetically, as if Remus had said anything coherent at all. “That’s alright.”
Remus willed his lungs to take a deep breath. Because, was it really? Was it really alright? Because it sort of felt like Remus was dying; like his life was over as he knew it.
“Ah, Miss. L/N, you should be off to your next class now, quickly. Mr. Lupin, please take your seat.” Mr. Slughorn said, poking his head briefly into the supply cupboard before retreating in much the same way.
You nodded politely at the teacher before offering Remus a smile.
“Thank you again for your help, Remus.” You said gently as you moved past him to retrieve your bag before exiting the classroom. Remus Moony wanted to follow you, begged to follow you. He could still smell you – you were everywhere. Fuck, Remus needs to shower.
Remus leaned his head against the cool stone of the dungeon walls. “What’s happening to me?” He moaned miserably to himself.
If only he knew.

Sirius ran his fingers through her hair, his gaze never leaving her face. He could see the desire and need in her eyes, the pleading look in them that begged him.
He leaned back slightly, pulling her face closer to his body, just out of reach. He could feel the tension in the air, the electric energy between the two of them.
“You want me to touch you, don’t you?” He asked, his voice low and seductive.
“Please.” Her voice was a pathetic whimper as her knees ached against the hardwood floor. “Let me touch you… let me feel you.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle at her desperation, the sight of her on her knees before him, begging to touch him, was too much to resist.
He reached down, his hand gently caressing her face, his fingers tracing the line of her jaw. “You want to feel me, do you?” He murmured, his voice thick with desire. “You want to make me feel good?”
She nodded a bit too eagerly. “Please… I’ll make you feel so good.”
As she nodded eagerly, he couldn’t hold back a smirk. he loved seeing her desperate for him, for his touch, for his body.
He brought his hand down to his trousers, loosening the buttons and pulling down the zipper slowly. He kept his gaze locked on her face, watching her expression as he slowly stroked himself, teasing both of them. “You better make me feel good, love,” He murmured, his voice a low, seductive growl.
He continued to stroke himself, his movements slow and deliberate, his eyes never leaving her face. The sight of her on her knees before him, begging for him, was driving him wild with desire.
“Come closer.” He commanded, his voice a low growl. “Let me feel your mouth on me.”
He watched as she moved forward, her body pressing against his legs as she moved closer to him. He could feel the heat radiating between the two of them, the tension in the air almost palpable.
He tangled his fingers in her hair again, using his grip to guide her head closer to where he needed her most. He could feel his heart racing, his body aching for her touch. “I’ve got you now,” he murmured, his voice a low, gravelly growl. “Now give me what I want.”
As she moved closer, her hands came up to rest on his thighs, her fingers digging into the fabric of his trousers. She could feel the muscle of his legs tense under her touch, his skin warm and firm.
Looking up at him, she could see the desire in his eyes, the hunger that mirrored her own. She desperately wanted to please him, to make him feel good, to show him just how much she needed him.
She brought your mouth closer, her tongue flicking out to taste him.
As her tongue teased him, he let out a low, guttural moan, his grip on her hair tightening as he pulled her closer. He was completely lost in the sensation of her touch, the feel of her mouth on him driving him wild with pleasure.
“That’s it, love,” he murmured, his voice ragged and rough. “Just like that, keep going.”
He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her as she continued to pleasure him with her mouth. The sight of her on her knees before him was driving him to the brink, the feeling of her tongue and lips sending waves of pleasure coursing through his body as she took him deeper.
He ran his free hand through his hair, his eyes squeezed shut as he tried to hold back the building pleasure. It was too much, too blissful.
He groaned again, his voice strained and ragged as he struggled to control himself. his hips started to move involuntarily, pushing against her as he sought more of your touch “Don’t stop,” he panted, his eyes meeting hers as she looked up at him. “Please, don’t stop.”
She couldn’t help but feel a sense of power and gratification knowing that she was the one making him feel this way. She felt his hands tighten in her hair, his hips pressing against her mouth, and she knew that she had him completely at her mercy.
Her movements grew more hungry, more desperate to take him to the edge. She wanted to give him the ultimate pleasure, to show him just how much she needed him, how much she longed for him.
She intensified her efforts, her head bobbing up and down as she took him deeper and deeper into her mouth, gagging slightly, her hands still gripping his thighs, her nails digging into his skin. She could feel his body tense, his breaths coming in choppy gasps as he struggled to hold himself together.
The taste of him on your tongue, combined with the sound of his moans, were sending waves of pleasure through her own body, and she knew that she had him right where she wanted him.
He was completely at her mercy, his body tense and taut as he struggled to keep control. Her movements were driving him insane, and he could feel himself getting closer and closer to the edge.
He let out a guttural moan, his head falling back as he lost himself in the pleasure she was giving him. “Don’t stop… don’t stop,” he panted.
His eyes were glassy and unfocused, his body almost shaking from the intensity of the pleasure she was giving him. He was completely lost in the sensation of her mouth, the feeling of her tongue and lips driving him wild with ecstasy.
He reached down, his hand grabbing a handful of her hair, gripping it tightly as he fought to keep himself together. “I can’t… I can’t hold back much longer,” he gasped, his voice ragged and strained.
Her movements continued, driving him closer and closer to the edge. He was on the brink of losing control, his body tense and his breathing becoming ragged and laboured.
And then, just as he was about to fall over the edge, he grasped her hair, pulling her back and looking down at her with a hungry look in his eyes. “You know what I want,” he panted, his voice thick with desire.
Her eyes met his, and she knew exactly what he was asking for. She nodded, a thrill of excitement running through her. He knew she would give him anything, and she was more than willing to comply.
He let go of his hold on her, his hand letting her hair fall back into place. He looked down at her, his eyes darkened with lust as he ran his tongue over his lips, the anticipation building between them both.
He took a step back, giving himself some space to finish. He looked down at her, the sight of her on her knees before him, waiting patiently, only added to his pleasure.
His hand moved again, stroking himself at a fast pace as he held her gaze. He could see the hungry look in her eyes, the way you were watching him intently. He knew that she was just as turned on as he was, the sight of him giving in to his own pleasure making her even more desperate for him.
He couldn't hold back anymore, the tension in the air was too much, and with a guttural groan, his seed spilled over her face.
A smirk formed on her face as she let out a hum of approval, sticking out her tongue and licking off what she could reach, her eyes never leaving his.
He let out a low, guttural groan as he saw what she was doing. The sight of her, her tongue out and licking him off, was enough to make him feel weak in the knees, and his grip on the wall behind him tightened.
He looked down at her, his eyes dark and heavy with desire, a mixture of satisfaction and hunger. He knew that she was enjoying this just as much as he was, and that only served to make the moment all the more intense.
Still recovering from the intense pleasure, he fixed his gaze on her with a dark, hungry look. He grabbed a small towel and bit in the distance, cleaning off her face before commanding, "On the bed," he ordered, his voice a low, rough growl. "Now."

Golden rubbers in these denim pockets. On my waist theres a black glock New girl moved on the block
"You don't have to do that for me, Pansy." You denied her offer, it would be too much to ask. But the fact that she went out of her way just to tell you, made you smile, pink lips pulled into a grin as you stared up at her.
"You're cool, Y/N/N. There aren't many cool people in this school, so when I find one, they have to be my friend." She said it as if it was factual, making you giggle softly. You shake your head, denying the compliment.
"Whatever you say, pansy."
The girl grinned, standing up from where she sat at the end of your bed. You watched her curiously as she searched the room, seemingly looking for something.
"Looking for something?"
You asked, confused as to why she had got up so abruptly. Pansy nodded, kneeling down on the wooden flooring beside her bed, pulling something out from underneath it.
"My shoes."
She sits on the ground, opening up a cardboard box, revealing a pair of black, brand new ugg boots. This only confuses you further, why would she need her shoes?
"The boys are usually in the common room, we're gonna go pay them a little visit."
She must've seen the curiosity written on your face, answering your unspoken question. At this, you scramble to get out of bed. "Pansy, I look like shit!" There's panic evident in your tone as you stand in front of the vanity, picking apart your appearance. You grab the nearest hair brush, running it through your hair. Not that you needed too, being a Malfoy meant no matter what, you always had perfect hair.
"Girl, look at me."
She deadpanned, making you glance at her through the mirror, where she still sat on the floor in her green pajamas and unbrushed hair, watching as you get ready.
"Besides, you look hot."
She says bluntly, shooting you a flirty wink as you caught her gaze, her green eyes boring into yours. You roll your eyes playfully in response, placing the brush back onto the dresser, cheeks turning rosy pink at her romantic demeanor.
She gets up from the floor, using the bed to help her stand. You turn, walking towards your bed to grab your previously discarded sweatshirt. ---
On your way to the common room, Pansy speaks up, her voice quietly echoing through the hall.
"Honestly, I'm surprised you haven't met more of Draco's friends."
You hum softly in agreement. Draco was popular, you knew that much, yet you'd only ever met two of his friends, one of which was the girl you walked beside.
The other... Lets just say, he's a big part of why you don't go home much anymore.
"I preferred spending my holidays at Beaux Batons. When I'm at home, my parent's usually task me with running around after the dark lord, doing all of his chores and stuff like that."
She grimaces, remembering just how close your family was to Voldemort. Her family was also involved with the dark lord, but nowhere near as close to him as your parents were. She's never even seen Voldemort, so the thought of being in your place, stuck alone in a room with him for most of the time, scared her. Often, Draco would tell her stories about the man, 9/10 his tales would shake her to the core, further adding onto the evil perception around the lord. Plus, the things that he made Draco do, knowing that the boy wanted no part in such gruesome activities- but had no choice but to participate, greatly angered Pansy, who knew just how much it truly shakes her boyfriend. So, if you were stuck, doing all of the dark lords bidding, Pansy could only imagine the horrible things that you've likely seen, maybe even had to do. Seeing her change in mood, you think it's best to add on something that would allude being around Voldemort, 24/7, wasn't actually that bad. "He's not that bad of a guy, personality wise. His motives just aren't that great."
You tell her softly, as if asking her to cut the horrible man some slack, after all he'd done, killing innocent people for his own, selfish reason.
From the look on her face, you can tell she doesn't want to continue the conversation.
Mentally, You sigh in relief. If you talked any longer about he-who-shall-not-be-named, you'd probably end up spilling the real reason you transferred. ---
Finally, you both reach the bottom of the stairs and Pansy goes to open the door, but not before turning to you with a reassuring smile.
"I can't promise that they don't bite, but if they do, just know they don't mean to."
She spoke as if she were a poet, her sentence a metaphor of it's own. She had pre-apologized for her friends possible actions, in the case that they did say anything rude, or insensitive, though if they did offend you, Draco would have each of their heads on a stick by the morning. Silently, you thank her for the warning, sending a nod her way. She doesn't see your movement, occupied with opening the heavy dungeon door.
"Thanks."
You muttered, following her into the dimly lit room. Instantly, a wave of coldness washed over you, the fireplace doing next to nothing in keeping the space heated. You glance towards the culprit, huge windows line the stone walls, condensation dripping down the glass, almost blocking your view into the black lake, not that you could see much inside of it's darkness. The place reminded you of home, with it's intimidating aura and leather couches, the only difference was, the Malfoy manor wasn't green. Green, clearly handmade, blankets were strung over most surfaces, if not draped over a couch, it was folded on a table, ready for the students to use. It was certainly a prettier sight than the bland, blue walls of beaux batons.
Aside from a group of boys, lounging around the fireplace, the room was void of any life, the sound of yours and Pansy's footsteps echoing through-out the quiet, the only other sound being their voices, barely any louder than the crackling of the burning wood.
Pansy strode over, confidence in her steps, as if she had a purpose to be there. You followed behind, hands shoved into the pockets of your grey trackpants.
"Piss off, pansy."
Somebody spoke with an accent, you couldn't quite place where it was from, but you knew that you'd heard something similar, before. In the corner of your view, you can see Pansy roll her eyes before leaning back, sitting on the arm rest closest to her before an arm snakes around her waist, presumably your brothers.
"I've come to introduce you to my new best friend."
You hear Draco groan from where he sat, on the couch, behind pansy. You let out a scoff, stepping closer to the group as Pansy stifles a giggle.
"It's great to know that I'm appreciated, Draco."
Your voice catches the attention of the boys, their attention shifting to where you stood, your arms crossed over your chest.
You looked almost angelic, the fireplace casting a gentle glow onto your pale figure, arms crossed over your chest, your long hair gently cascading down your back.
You were... pretty?
From the angle of where you stood, their faces were perfectly in view, all looking semi-familiar, probably from when you'd met their parents, once or twice.
There was Theodore Nott, an Italian bloke with dead looking eyes. Lorenzo Berkshire, a charming boy with a sharp jawline, and Blaise Zabini, who always looked uninterested and unamused.
You finish checking them out, before having to do a double take. Mattheo wasn't there and you knew that he was supposed to be, since he was your brothers closest friend.
You mentally curse yourself for looking for him, forcing your gaze to pansy, who motions at a spot between Nott and Zabini.
You glance towards them, to see if they were okay with you sitting near them. Blaise nodded and you stepped towards them, Theodore stayed quiet, but made no move to stop you as you got closer.
You could feel somebody look at your figure as you sat down, their gaze leaving a trail of warmth in its wake.
"Boys, this is my little sister, Y/N."
Draco introduced you and Theodore's head snapped towards you, it looked as if a piece of puzzle had fallen into place inside of his head. You look at him, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to why he had that look in his eyes.
"Enzo."
The boy sat beside Draco said, holding out a hand for you to shake. You rip your gaze away from Theodore, instead giving Lorenzo a warm smile as you leant forward, shaking his hand.
Once again, somebody's eyes raked over your body, sending shivers down your spine. You let go of Enzo's hand, leaning back into the plush sofa.
"That's Theodore-" Lorenzo nodded towards the boy on your left, the one who had who seemed bewildered to learn your name. He continued to say nothing, just watching your interaction with Enzo. "-and the one staring you down, is Blaise."
At this, a harsh shove was sent to Lorenzo's shoulder, Draco's lip curling up in disgust as he scowled at Lorenzo, who raised his hands in surrender.
"Nobody will be staring down my sister." He stated, a threatening tone in his voice as he sat back in his chair, leaning against the plush cushion, clearly not happy with Lorenzo's words.
Draco would never let another one of his friends touch you, not after what happened last time. They were all a bunch of players, anyways, you were worth more than any of their hoes.
Pansy shot you a knowing look, as if to say, 'they already have.' In response, you grinned softly, shaking your head as you glanced away.
---
You lay in bed that night, propped up on your side to look at Pansy as she spoke, the two of you gossiping about anything and everything.
"So... You find any of them cute?"
You didn't say anything, hiding your face in the pillows so that she couldn't see the blush on your cheeks, the movement telling her all she needed to know.
"Who!"
She squealed, excitedly. She loved talking about girly things like this, not really having a lot of female friends after she started dating Draco, surrounding herself with his mates who, sadly, didn't like to gossip.
"Zabini."
You said sheepishly, voice barely audible, muffled by your pillow. Pansy grinned, egging you on as she said.
"Oh, Blaise is totally into you, I swear I saw him looking at your ass!"
She been plotting on my brown cock
By now, the first week of school had been and gone, with no signs of Mattheo, the boy that you were dreading to see.
If anything, his absence was only making it worse, under all of the circumstances- like being the new girl in his friend group, getting sorted into the same house and even being in most of his classes. You should have seen him by now, it was a miracle that you hadn't.
However, you tried not to think about him. Which was hard, nearly impossible, so you'd distracted yourself, thoughts of Blaise Zabini plaguing your mind.
He was hot, gorgeous even and the two of you got along well, in-fact, so well that he strolled up to you in your shared potions class. His hands in his pockets as he, casually, asked if you wanted to 'hang.'
Just the two of you, alone in his dorm. Which everyone knew was basically code for, 'I'm trying to fuck.'
In response, you sheepishly nodded. You'd been asked out before, so many times that you couldn't even count, but none of the guys that asked you out were cute, or respectable, like he was.
Plus, if yours and Blaise's relationship did blossom into something more, he was the son of a pureblood death eater, meaning that your father would, hopefully, approve.
But in all reality, there was only one boy that your father wanted you to date, or in other words, give a second chance.
Not that you would ever, ever get with Mattheo Riddle again, no matter how much your father wanted you too.
After Blaise had left your table, Pansy came back, lips curled into a smirk, having watched the interaction between you and your crush.
The entire class, she pestered you about it, doing annoying things, like drawing 'Y/I + B.Z' on your paper, or shaping her hands into a heart and putting it over her eye, so that it was around you and Blaise.
It was at lunch when you finally gave in, the two of you planning to spend the rest of the day sitting by the black lake, so you could fill her in without fear of being overheard, you were also due for a gossip session, so the hangout would be solving two problems at once.
Although, as soon as you left the castle, you could feel it. A pair of eyes staring lasers into your back, watching as you ventured towards the black lake.
You couldn't recall how many times you had glanced over your shoulder, looking for something out of place, anything that could possibly be giving you the feeling of being watched.
But to no avail, until you and pansy started talking about how well you fit into their little group. She mentioned that there was still another member, who's yet to come but will be at dinner tonight.
You sat with your knees to your chest, your back facing the black lake, probably not a good idea as anything could jump out and grab you, without you knowing in time. But it was worth it, as long as you were filled in on all the Hogwarts drama.
Pansy sat across from you, her legs crossed as she rambles on, telling you funny stories about the boys.
"You know, I think you fit in really well, With the boys and I."
You smile at her honesty, you hadn't really thought about that until now, but you did slide into the group pretty easily, your jokes always at the right time, making everyone laugh, knowing with one look how was somebody was feeling, though you did that outside of your friends, as well.
"There is actually a 6th member to our little group, you'll meet him tonight."
Horror, which you feigned as surprise, crossed your face. You'd known that Mattheo had to come back at some point, but that didn't mean you dreaded it any less.
"W-what?"
Pansy dismissed your odd behavior, assuming that you were just confused as to who she was talking about.
"Apparently Mattheo was sick for the fist couple of weeks, couldn't catch the train with the rest of us."
Hearing his name left a bad feeling in your stomach and suddenly, you didn't feel like going to dinner tonight.
"You know him?"
She asked, noticing the uncomfortable look on your face. You shook your head so fast you might've given yourself whiplash, hoping she wouldn't notice, you cleared your throat, trying to get rid of the anxious lump rising in it.
"Just... heard some stuff."
You lied through your teeth, not ready to tell the girl about your bad past involving Mattheo. Well, it wasn't completely untrue, you'd definitely heard some pretty horrible things involving the boy, you'd also experienced it first-hand.
"Fair enough."
Pansy stated, shrugging.
"He's a little scary, but he's not all that bad."
You nodded, glancing away from her, opting to stare into the darkness of the black lake instead.
---
Not much happened at dinner. Sure, seeing Mattheo for the first time, since you were fifteen, was... Weird.
He looked different, in a good way. His face was more scarred than when you last saw it, but his wounds were in all of the right places. His lips were slightly chapped, glossy from his spit and his skin was tanner, not holding the same paleness he used to shar with his father, as a child. His eyes were no longer brown, having darkened to a pitch black, his pupils barely visible.
You only knew this because he had been staring at you during all of dinner. While everyone else was eating, his eyes were on you.
The kind glint they once held was gone, now holding a look of stoic, coldness as he watched you pick at the garlic bread on your plate.
You could barely eat, hyper-aware of the fact that you had Mattheo's full, undivided attention.
You tried to rid your thoughts of him, focusing on the conversation around you. Which, ironically, was just Draco talking to, or about, Mattheo, who would only respond with short answers, still not tearing his gaze away from you.
It had started to irk you, was he seriously still hung up on it? It happened over three years ago, the both of you should be over the situation by now.
You told yourself that there was another reason, not wanting to think about the bad decisions that your younger self had made.
You probably just had something on your face, or maybe, a bit of food stuck in your teeth.
When Blaise tugged on your hand, pulling you out of your seat to go to his dorm with him, you silently thanked every god that you could think of. Mentally noting that you owed the boy a favor, not that he had helped you out on purpose.
In your departure, you missed the death glare that Mattheo had given to Blaise, said boy quirking a brow towards Mattheo, confused as to why he was staring lasers into him.
Theo took a sip from his gauntlet, filled with lemonade, he regrets not telling Blaise about you and Mattheo. As much as he liked you and Blaise together, he was scared that the boy was going to get caught in the crossfire of your ex. Which Theodore knew about, from when him and Mattheo had shared a blunt on a particularly rainy day.
---
Mattheo had laid across the bed, his head hanging off the side, poorly rolled joint between his lips. Theodore was his most talkative self when high, his quiet demeanor completely out the door. Mattheo however, was the complete opposite. When intoxicated his extroverted self could only ever cough out one or two words.
"Once, when I was in muggle school, there was this one blonde girl, who would always dance in the rain. I had a crush on her, I think. I don't know, honestly, I can't remember. But, anyways. I would always watch her-"
Theo rambled on, sitting with his legs laid out, leaning against the headboard, next to where his bong sat on the nightstand. His hand flew around as he spoke, making quick gestures to accentuate what he was talking about.
"Creep."
Mattheo said, his face void of any emotion, making Theo unsure of whether the boy was joking or not.
"Shut the fuck up, Mattheo. Don't rain on my parade just because you've never had any type of love in your life." Once again, Mattheo cut in, eliciting a grumble from Theodore, but making him wonder about what Mattheo could possibly have to add.
From what Theo knew about the dark lord's son, Mattheo was practically incapable of loving, it was rare for him to show any emotion other than angry. It was rare that he'd laugh if it wasn't at someone else's expense, in other words, he found amusement in hurting other people, much like his father.
But, Theodore knew that Mattheo had next to nothing in common with his father. Then again, Theo only knew of Voldemort through what his parents told him, being death eaters they saw the dark lord often. From what he'd heard, Theodore could determine that Mattheo and Voldemort were nothing alike.
"I have." He spoke, his tone un-describable , it wasn't one of anger or sadness, but, it wasn't happy or disappointed either. Theo's face was one of surprise, his brows raised and eyes, still redder than a tomato, widening.
The boy let out a deep sigh, bringing his blunt to his parted lips, deeply inhaling as Theodore sat patiently, eager to hear about Mattheo's love life, or lack there of.
"I was 15, she broke up with me, didn't want to do long distance. She was going to beaux batons, I wasn't."
He kept it short and simple, not wanting to tire himself out with trying to string a sentence together, he couldn't function properly when high. Theodore hummed, in a tone that said, 'continue.' He could tell there was more to the story, that there were unsaid words on the tip of Mattheo's tongue.
"I... I was angry, worse than you've ever seen me. I just, didn't understand why she'd want to leave me. Still don't."
Theo nods along, ushering the boy to hurry up and get to the point.
"She's my soulmate, That's rare to find. So, I tried to make her stay. I wanted- no, need her to be around me. I- uh, I crucio'd her cat, made her watch."
---
Blaise collapsed back onto his bed, sighing tiredly before propping himself onto his elbows to look at you. "Come, sit."
He nodded to the space beside him, eyes trailing over your figure as you moved to sit.
You sat next to him, feet hanging over the edge of the bed. He chuckled at your movement, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion, not sure what he was laughing at.
He lays back down, patting his lap softly, motioning for you to straddle him. You rip your gaze away from him, a blush rising to your cheeks. Noticing your embarrassment, he placed his hands on your hips, grabbing them softly to pull you onto him.
You stare down at him, perched atop of his lap. He looks at you, as if you're a riddle he can't figure out.
"You're inexperienced?"
He says it more like a statement, rather than a question. Sheepishly, you nod and Blaise smirks softly, drawing circles on the small of your back.
"Surprising..."
He trails off, behind you, there was a movement outside of the window. His gaze hardened, thinking that it was someone breaking into his dorm. But then, he remembers that the dungeon is underwater, meaning that it was probably just a fish swimming past. Something like that, anyways.
You, on the other hand, are busy admiring his face. Resisting the urge to run your hands over the curve of his jaw, or the soft slope of his nose.
The feeling of being watched still hadn't left, you knew it wouldn't, that it was just your brain being paranoid because of Mattheo.
"Being Draco's sister, I thought you'd live up to his reputation as a player."
He spoke, but not before doing a double-take of the window. It was true, Draco is notorious for being a man-whore, or at least he was before he started dating pansy.
"You know, I'm not completely innocent."
You said, catching his attention. You looked into his eyes, only to find his gaze fixed on your bottom lip, where your teeth bit into the plushness, nervously.
"I had a boyfriend, when I was 15."
He raises his eyebrows, mocking surprise. There's a teasing tone in his eyes, as if he's egging you on, to say more about this 'boyfriend.'
"Didn't turn out?"
A rhetorical question. If it had turned out, you'd still be together, but you were here, sitting on Blaise's lap, completely oblivious to the boner you'd given him.
"I was going to Beaux Batons, didn't think long distance would work."
You shook your head before speaking, purposefully leaving out the part that still haunted you.
The reason you couldn't sleep at night, laying awake in bed, the image of your childhood pet, sprawled out on the floor, guts on display, blood used to draw hearts around it, 'M + Y/I'
"Fair."
Blaise's hands moved from your hips, trailing up your waist, pulling you closer to him. You fall against his chest, a gasp leaving your parted lips. He uses this to his advantage, pressing his mouth to yours, messily kissing you.
After a moment of surprise, you kiss back, attempting to go just as fast and needy as he is, but he bites your bottom lip, just as he had seen your own teeth do just a few seconds ago. Feeling the cushion of your flesh between his teeth, he moans softly, the sound scratching an itch in your brain, dampening your panties. He slips his tongue into your mouth, instantly asserting dominance with the way he searched around. He drops you onto the bed beside him, rolling over so that he was on top of you, without breaking the kiss. His knee split your legs apart, your clit rubbing against the fabric of his slacks, a whine escaping your mouth, into his, at the sensation. He swallows the sound, running his tongue over the back of your teeth.
Last night, I slept over hers.
A forearm is rested either side of your head, your eyes tracing over the veins that trailed up to his biceps, usually soft looking, but now flexed as he hovered over you, staring down at you with an intensity in his brown eyes. "You want this?" The question caught you off-guard, he had you practically writhing underneath him and he stopped to ask you for consent? Total baby daddy material.
You whimpered, "Blaise, P- please." The sound of his name falling from your lips makes him let out a shaky breath, half-way through a moan.
Pressing a soft kiss to your lips, he aligns himself with your entrance, slipping the tip between your soaked folds, you gasp softly, his size taking a moment too get used too.
"Fuck... you're so tight, baby."
It doesn't take long for you to get acquainted with his size, needily grinding down onto his cock, to show that you were ready.
He glides in and out of your canal, each thrust agonizingly slow. He clearly just wanted to get a reaction out of you,
During sex, I overheard.
Clouded by lust, Blaise almost missed the movement in the corner of the room. His brows pulled into a furrow, he went from leaning on his forearms to his hands, craning his neck to look behind him.
"Blaise... what's wrong?" Your voice had a whiny tone to it, the sound reminding Blaise of what he was here for. Taking one last glance around the dorm, before he turned back to you. "Nothing." Blaise placed a hand under your thigh, pulling it up to be pinned against the bed. This newfound angle lets Blaise bury himself deeper inside of you, planning to make you moan so loud that he won't be able to hear any other noises.
Once again, he thrusts into you, the tip of his cock instantly hitting that spongy place in your pussy.
A sword sliced the air, I pulled out the na-na.
"Stupefy."
A voice whispered through the air, a flash of red flying past Blaise's head, just narrowly missing him.
Under his breath, Mattheo lets out a frustrated groan. He re-adjusts his stance, moving to point his wand more specifically at Blaise.
Rolled off the bed then shot back, paow-paow.
In the blink of an eye, Blaise had slipped out of you. If it weren't for the intensity of the situation, you would've whimpered at the loss of feeling filled.
His left hand held his wand, pointing it at the intruder. The right one scrambled to make himself look decent, tucking his rock hard member back into his pants.
"Sectumsempra!"
You flinch, the sound of Mattheo's voice not only surprising you, but making you scared, as well.
A white light illuminates the room, hitting Blaise square in the chest before he could react.
He dropped to the floor, an assortment of cuts sprouting open on every inch of his skin.
You lifted yourself off the bed, scrambling to kneel beside Blaise. Your eyes rake over his wounds, which were only multiplying by the minute.
Your face held a fearful expression, scared of what Mattheo may be capable of. But, that doesn't stop you from looking up at him, lip quivering as you beg him to stop.
"M- Mattheo, stop! P- please, this isn't funny!"
Mattheo's face was devoid of any emotion, although he had the ghost of a smirk on his lips, as i fhe was proud of himself.
"Mattheo, please!"
Mattheo took note of the way you looked up at him, your doe eyes big and pleading, a slight sheen over them, a sign that you were on the verge of tears, clearly out of worry for Blaise.
Truthfully, he hadn't meant to hurt Blaise. He was just checking up on you, to make sure that the boy wasn't hurting you, or making you uncomfortable.
He just hadn't expected to find Blaise balls deep inside of you.
Mattheo tried to hold it in, he really did, but he just couldn't stand watching anyone else touch you, talk to you, or even just be near you, especially in the way you were with Blaise.
Blood on the sheets, probably spilling from my gash.
Blaise's crimson blood dripped all over the floor boards, seeing the mess, Mattheo muttered the counter curse. Causing an end to the whimpering of Blaise. Mattheo watched as you gently stroked Blaise's face, soothing the boy. After seeing this, he quickly departed, unable to watch you worry after someone else.
Looked out the glass, se him sprinting on the grass, A real ninja with the blade and the mask, got them gold ninja stars and red supreme nunchuks.
Blaise hissed, the alcohol you were dabbing onto his cuts stinging him. You sat on the sink, he's stood between your thighs, gripping them every time it hurt.
Now she tryna patch me up, but Girl, I was just trying to get a nut bust.
His blood stained your pale skin, dripping down your fingers. You cupped his jaw, using it to tilt his head to the side, giving you access to a cut underneath his ear.
Neither of you had spoke for the last five minutes, a pregnant silence between you both. You pressed a soft kiss to the wound before placing a plaster over the damaged skin.
"I'm so sorry, Blaise."
He shakes his head, as if to tell you that it was alright. He watches as you care for him, making sure that he was okay.
"If that's your ex, you should probably own a pistol."
There's a tone of honesty in his voice, making you debate whether or not to tell him that trying to get rid of Mattheo wasn't worth it.
But, I'm guessing its just wiser to exit with the dude.
After returning to your dorm, you sink into the bath, pink bubbles clinging to your skin.
It takes a good amount of scrubbing, but finally, you get the red off of your skin, a floral scented soap taking it's place.
The hot water relaxes your muscles, your back de-stiffening. You try to ignore what had just happened with Blaise and Mattheo, but it plagues your mind. Mattheo's behavior provoking a disturbing feeling in your core, one that your sure you shouldn't be having.
The blinds wide open so he can see you in the dark when you're sleeping, Naked body, fresh out the shower.
Pansy wasn't in the room, so you assume that she planned to spend the night with your brother, the thought making you cringe.
The curtains were wide open, the view of the black lake crystal clear, the movement of the fish swimming casting shadows in your room.
You adorned your body in a pair of skimpy underwear, a matching bralette just barely covering your bust.
Uh, and you touch yourself after hours.
Your fingers curled inside of your canal, failing to reach the spot where you needed them most. A whine escaped your lips, hips bucking up into your palm uselessly, trying to push your small digits deeper.
Ain't no man allowed in your bedroom, You're sleeping alone in bed.
Your movements paused, the gaze of an unknown pair of eyes trailed over your body, replicating the feeling of ice sliding over your skin, leaving goosebumps in its wake.
Chills crept up your spine, eyes widening as you registered what was happening. On one hand, you were concerned. On the other, however, it only encouraged you to chase the orgasm that you were so desperate for, especially now that you had an audience.
A whine escaped your lips as you pulled your fingers out, leaving you achingly empty. Slowly, you sat up, knees pressing into the mattress as you scramble to grab your pillow.
You pushed the plushness underneath your aching heat, needily grinding down onto the cotton once it was situated, making you let out a moan.
But check your window, He's at the window.
You rode the pillow as if your life depended on it, breathing shallowly as you bobbed your hips up and down. Your eyes squeezed shut in an attempt to deal with the pleasure, your back arched to the roof as you desperately chased your high, head thrown back as the pillows seam rubs against your swollen clit, making you whine softly.
Your movements grow slower, sloppier as you near your high, knees starting to give out, jaw going slack as inaudible moans slip past your lips. Your head falls forward, eyes opening as your hips stutter down onto the soft foam between your thighs.
You had blurry vision, but it wasn't nearly fuzzy enough to hide the reflection of your window, a figure stood at the foot of your bed, his brown- no, black eyes locked onto your face, rather than your body.
The sight of him did something to your body, the knot in your stomach unravelling itself. You couldn't look away from him, your gaze locked onto his face as your movements halted, you watched as his eyes flickered down to the mess between your thighs, a smirk pulling at the sides of his mouth. You weren't sure how to feel about him, on one hand, he was so... Whats the word? Smoking hot, he was so smoking hot. On the other hand, however, he both shook you to the core and had you wrapped around his finger. It was crazy how much of an effect he had over you, even without saying any words. With every passing moment, you could feel your resolve slipping and your need for him in, every way possible, growing stronger. You knew you shouldn't, but if he kept this whole 'mysterious' thing up, you were sure to fall again. You panted softly, basking in the afterglow of your release, the exhaustion crashing into you like a truck. You fell forward, onto the plushness of your bed, forehead pressed into the headboard. Shame washes over you as you reach down, pulling the cushion up to join the rest of your pillows. The velvet is soaked with your scent, emitting a sweet musk into the empty room.
You feel an urge, a need to see if Mattheo was still in the dorm, you told yourself it was just out of curiosity, but really you hoped he had stayed. Weakly, you lifted yourself off of the mattress, peeking over your shoulder.
Gone. He was gone, the foot of your bed was empty aside your school shoes. His absence made the realization sink in,
What the fuck was that?
----A/N I wrote this like 2 months ago, I did plan to finish it but lost motivation. I will make a part 2, if anyone wants one. If you've already read this, I have updated the ending a couple of times, for more suspense.

first kiss with remus

remus lupin x reader, yule ball fluff
Tumblr media
You looked like heaven. So soft to touch and yet somehow untouchable in that ethereal sort of way. Maybe he’d spend the rest of his life dreaming about you standing across from him in that dress; rivulets of champagne satin draped onto your form, each curve and love handle appearing delicate to the touch. Your waist seemed to be the perfect resting spot for his hand, and your lips the perfect resting spot for his.
“Hey, you look really nice all dressed up.” The words fell on deaf ears. His eyes so fixated on your lips that he didn't recognise words, just gentle sounds that pulled a small smile onto his face. Remus was still thinking about the way that the light hit you, and your hair all fixed up, and your lips; the lips that should be on his. “Hello,” you repeated, finally garnering his attention.
“Hey,” he whispered with a gentle joy husking in the mellows of his deep voice. Remus felt like his voice had been unused for so long, left waiting patiently until he spoke to you.
“You look nice. All dressed up.”
“Thanks.” He had gotten up for a ‘smoke break’ after he caught you slipping outside in his periphery. He had quit cigarettes a month ago after hearing you lament about the smell of smoke and your childhood asthma, and if the sickly sweetness of tobacco irritated your nose and hurt your lungs, he would rather burn every cigarette in the nearby radius than keep you away from him.
“You look nice too… Lovely even.” A small smirk forming on his face. You liked his confidence, his jokes, his snark, even when it seemed like it was nonexistent. Somehow, you made all the other noise fade away, just your laughs and a large void of silence, of serenity, left.
“Remus Lupin calling me lovely!” A dramatic exclamation, something silly and joyful and light. There was no way you could have known that there were a million other things that Remus Lupin could call you: stunning, gorgeous, radiant, and maybe, one day, his. Your hands patted the front of your dress, your eyes sparkled in the light from the stars, and your lips looked so kissable. Maybe James had sparked the punch bowl, or maybe Remus was royally screwed; your smile was making his heart warm.
The silence felt long, just two people looking at each other, and then you bit your lip. You wanted to kiss him, you wanted to kiss Remus, and it was going to put you in an awkward position. He’s just an acquaintance, not even an actual friend yet, and you could ruin this potential thing by making one wrong move. Your face flushed with heat and your smile turned to a pout; you didn't know this was something he needed.
“I think someone’s calling me.” You sprung up the first step, attempting to quickly run away from the situation, but Remus pulled you back in; his arm wrapped around your elbow, warm and wanting. It brought you in too close, facing him with only inches between the two of you. He could feel your breath and smell your perfume. It was different today, probably something more expensive to celebrate the night. He wished he had used another word instead of lovely, perhaps lovable would have been right, or priceless.
“Wait.” Another whisper. You were holding your breath now. He pleaded with something ragged and desperate, “please.”
His other hand crept up to your jaw, fingers caressing your lips. You felt real under him, and soft, and smooth, and dreamy too. “Can I?”
“Yes.” He wanted to memorise the way your lips felt agreeing to him. How many times would he have to ask you for a kiss before his hands knew what your agreeance felt like; how long did you keep your lips apart, how did your breath feel on him, how high did your lips quirk up, ready for him.
He lowered his face, pausing and moving his fingers to rest on your cheek. One hand on your arm, the other holding up your head, you could feel Remus’ warmth surrounding you. Waiting with your eyes closed as he took his time trying to commit this moment to memory. Finally, his lips met yours. He would never forget this night.

I'll Love You 'til the Grass Around My Gravestone is Deceased
post azkaban sirius black x fem!reader
CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX (see full series list here)
Tumblr media
1994
I've just been attacked by dementors and I might be expelled from Hogwarts. I want to know what's going on and when I'm going to get out of here.
That's what Harry had written in his note to you and Sirius — and also in notes to Ron and Hermione too.
The pair of you had been livid, of course — "this is what happens when he's left alone with those people!" — and three days later, you stand on the doorstep to Number 4, Privet Drive, Little Whinging with a group of other Order members.
"Alohomora," you say, pushing the door open. You make your way into the hallway, all the lights turned off.
Tonks lets out a whistle at a stack of antique decorative plates on a table beside her. "Wow, look at these plates, they're proper fancy! Just look — "
She immediately drops it with a crash.
"Oops," she says, repairing it with a wave of her wand.
You make your way up the stairs, unlocking the door with your wand while the others wait at the bottom of the stairs. Harry slowly emerges from the room, poking his head out the door, wand clutched tightly in his hand.
"Lower your wand, boy, before you take someone's eye out," Moody growls.
Harry doesn't lower his wand. "Professor Moody?"
"I don't know so much about 'Professor'. Never got round to much teaching, did I? Get down here, we want to see you properly."
Harry still doesn't move, clearly wary of your party.
"It's alright, Harry," you say gently. "We've come to take you away."
"P-professor?" he says disbelievingly. "Is that you?"
"Why are we all standing in the dark?" Tonks says. "Lumos."
The tip of Tonks's wand flares, illuminating the hall with light. You beam at the sight of your godson, already looking older than when you last seen him.
You stride forward and wrap him in a tight hug, beaming. "Good to see you, Harry."
"Yeah, you too..."
"Ooh, he looks just like I thought he would," Tonks says excitedly. "Wotcher, Harry!"
"Yeah, I see what you mean, Remus," Kingsley Shacklebolt says from the back. "He looks exactly like James."
"Except the eyes," Dedalus Diggle wheezes. "Lily's eyes."
Moody squints suspiciously at Harry, his magical eye pointed towards him searchingly. "Are you quite sure it's him? It'd be a nice lookout if we bring back some Death Eater personating him. We ought to ask him something only the real Potter would know. Unless anyone brought any Veritaserum?"
"Harry, what form does your patronus take?" Remus asks.
"A stag," Harry answers nervously.
"That's him, Mad-Eye."
Harry descends the stairs, still looking a bit confused, stowing his wand in the back pocket of his jeans as he goes.
"Don't put your wand there, boy!" Moody roars immediately. "What if it ignited? Better wizards than you have lost a buttocks, you know!"
"Who do you know that's lost a buttock?" Tonks asks curiously
"Never you mind, just keep your wand out of your back pocket!" he barks, hobbling off to the kitchen. "Elementary wand safety, nobody bothers about it anymore..."
Wow, how many times did you hear that during your training?
"And I saw that," Moody adds irritably as you roll your eyes at the ceiling.
Remus holds out his hand and shakes Harry's. "How are you?"
"Fine..." Harry replies, looking as though he's still in shock at what's going on.
"I'm — you're really lucky the Dursleys are out..." he mumbles.
"Lucky, ha!" Tonks exclaims, grinning. "It was me that lured them out of the way. Sent a letter by Muggle post telling they'd been short-listed for the All-England Best-Kept Suburban Lawn Competition. They're heading off to the prize-giving right now...or so they think."
She winks at you and you smile back, remembering the side-splitting laughter that had infected you as the two of you cooked up that idea a few nights previous.
"We are leaving, aren't we?" Harry asks. "Soon?"
"Almost at once," Remus says. "We're just waiting for the all-clear."
"Where are we going? The Burrow?" Harry asks hopefully.
You shake your head. "No, not the Burrow." You follow Moody into the kitchen, the group of Order members walking in after you. "Too risky. We're set up headquarters somewhere else, somewhere undetectable."
Moody sits at the kitchen table swigging from a hip flask, taking in the many electrical appliances in the Dursleys' kitchen.
"This is Alastor Moody, Harry," Remus tells, pointing toward him.
"Yeah, I know."
"And this is Nymphadora — "
"Don't call me Nymphadora, Remus," Tonks says with a shudder. "It's Tonks."
" — Nymphadora Tonks, who prefers to be known by her surname only," Remus finishes, glancing at Tonks.
She folds her arms. "So would you if your fool of a mother called you Nymphadora."
"And this is Kingsley Shacklebolt," Remus continues. "Elphias Doge, Dedalus Diggle — "
"We've met before," squeaks Diggle, dropping his top hat excitedly.
" — Emmeline Vance — Sturgis Podmore — and Hestia Jones."
Harry nods awkwardly at each of them in turn.
"A surprising number of people volunteered to come get you," Remus says, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Yeah, well, the more the better," Moody says darkly. "We're your guard, Potter."
"We're just waiting for the signal to tell us it's safe to set off," Remus explains, glancing out the kitchen window. "We've got about fifteen minutes."
"Very clean, aren't they, these Muggles?" Tonks says as she looks around the kitchen with heat interest. "My dad's Muggle-born and he's a right old slob. I suppose it varies, just like with wizards?"
"Uh — yeah," says Harry, turning to you. "What's going on, I haven't heard anything from anyone, what's Vol — ?"
Several of the witch and wizards make odd hissing noises and Moody growls, "Shut up!"
"What?"
"We're not discussing anything here, it's too risky," Moody explains, looking around him warily with his magical eye.
"We can talk about it once we're back at headquarters," you say.
"How're we getting there?"
"Brooms," Remus replies. "Only way. You're too young to apparate, they'll be watching the Floor Network, and it's more than our life's worth to set up an unauthorised Portkey."
"She says you're a good flier," Kingsley says, gesturing to you.
"He's excellent," you reply proudly, smiling at Harry.
Remus glances down at his watch. "You better go and get packed, Harry, we want to be ready to go when the signal comes."
"I'll come and help you," Tonks says brightly, following Harry upstairs to his bedroom.
Remus pulls an envelope and piece of parchment out of his pocket, bending over the kitchen table to start scribbling something down. You walk around the room, looking at different photos of the Dursleys.
Baby Dudley, with a proud Petunia and Vernon standing over him; Petunia and Vernon on their wedding day; several more photos of Dudley growing up — there's an obvious absence of Harry. If a stranger were to walk into this room without knowing anything about the Dursleys beforehand, they would never know Harry even exists.
"What a strange device!" Podmore exclaims, curiously opening and closing the kitchen microwave while Kingsley stands behind him. He waves you over. "What does it do?"
Because of your Muggle father, you are often questioned on Muggle items and customs — though usually by Arthur Weasley.
"It cooks food," you reply. "It's called a microwave."
"A microwave..." Kingsley repeats thoughtfully, opening the door and peering inside with immense interest.
Nearby, Hestia laughs at a potato peeler that she came across in one of the drawers. You give her a look, confused as to what could possibly be so humourous about a potato peeler, but she just continues to snicker and giggle as she turns it over in her hands.
"Excellent," Remus says when Harry and Tonks return, Harry's trunk bobbing along in the air behind them. "We've got about a minute, I think. We should probably get out into the garden so we're ready. Harry, I've left a note telling your aunt and uncle not to worry — "
"They won't," says Harry.
"That you're safe — "
"That'll just depress them."
" — and you'll see them next summer."
"Do I have to?"
Remus smiles but doesn't answer.
"Come here, boy," Moody says gruffly, beckoning Harry towards him with his wand. "I need to Disillusion you."
Harry's brows knit nervously. "You need to what?"
"Disillusionment Charm," Moody replies, raising his wand. "Lupin says you've got an Invisibility Cloak, but it won't stay on while we're flying; this'll disguise you better. Here you go — "
He raps Harry hard on the top of his head and Harry's body takes on the exact colour and texture of the kitchen unit behind him, like some sort of human chameleon.
"Nice one, Mad-Eye," Tonks says appreciatively, and Harry looks down in surprise, spinning in place as he surveys his new look.
"Come on," Moody says, moving towards the back door and unlocking it with his wand.
You all step out onto the Dursleys' impeccably well-kept lawn. It looks practically untouched — a contender for the All-England Best-Kept Suburban Lawn Competition indeed.
"Clear night," Moody grumbles, peering up into the dark sky above. "Could've done with a bit more cloud cover. Right, you," he barks at Harry, pointing his finger at him, "we're going to be flying in close formation. Tonks'll be right in front of you. The rest'll be circling us. We don't break ranks for anything, got me? If one of us is killed — "
"Is that likely?" Harry asks apprehensively, but Moody ignores him. When he turns his worried eyes to yours you shake your head, resisting the urge to roll your eyes at Moody's grimness.
" — the others keep flying, don't stop, don't break ranks. If they take out all of us and you survive, Harry, the rear guard are standing by to take over; keep flying east and they'll join you."
"Stop being so cheerful, Mad-Eye, he'll think we're not taking this seriously," says Tonks as she straps Harry's trunk and Hedwig's cage into a harness hanging from her broom.
"I'm just telling the boy the plan," Moody growls. "Our job's to deliver him safely to headquarters and if we die in the attempt — "
"No one's going to die," you say calmly, receiving a doubtful grumble from Moody in the process.
"Mount your brooms, that's the first signal!" Remus says sharply, pointing into the sky at the shower of bright red sparks flaring high above you.
You swing your leg over your broom — your dusty old Cleansweep Seven that you've had since you were fifteen and that has seen more of the inside of your garden shed than the open air — and wrap your hands around the flaking handle. You're a pretty average flier — nothing compared to James, of course...but who could ever compare to him?
"Second signal, let's go!" Remus says loudly, as this time green sparks explode into the air far above you.
You kick off hard from the ground. The cool night air rushes into you as you rise higher into the air, the houses and buildings of Little Whinging becoming smaller and smaller as your group ascends. Looking up, the sky is vast and clear, revealing the billions of gleaming stars twinkling above. You can't help the small rush of giddiness that sparks in you at the sight of it.
"Hard left, hard left, there's a Muggle looking up!" Moody shouts over the wind, and your circling group follows Tonks as she swerves, Harry close behind. "We need more height...give it another quarter of a mile!"
"Bear southeast and keep climbing, there's some low cloud ahead we can lose ourselves in!" calls Moody.
"We're not going through clouds!" Tonks shouts angrily. "We'll get soaked, Mad-Eye!"
You're glad to hear this, your fingers turning numb around the handle of your broom in the chill.
You alter your course every now and then according to Moody's instructions, you and the rest of the guard circling Harry and Tonks as you move.
"We ought to double back for a bit, to make sure we're not being followed!" Moody shouts.
"Don't be mad! We're nearly there now!" You yell, recognising the streets hurtling past below. "If we keep going off course, we won't have to worry about being followed because Harry'll have died from hypothermia by then!"
"Time to start the descent!" Remus orders. "Follow Tonks, Harry!"
You dive, flying lower and lower until you touch down on a quiet street with several less-than-welcoming houses lining it.
"Where are we?" Harry asks.
"In a minute," Remus says quietly, looking at Moody expectantly as he rummages around in his cloak.
"Got it," he mutters, pulling out Dumbledore's trusty Deluminator and clicking it. The nearest streetlamp goes out with a pop. Moody clicks the Deluminator again and one by one each lamp on the street distinguishes, leaving the faint glow of lit rooms behind curtains the only source of light on the street.
"Borrowed it from Dumbledore," Moody explains to Harry, pocketing the Deluminator once more. "That'll take care of any Muggles looking out the window, see? Now, come on, quick."
Together, your group makes it towards houses Number 11 and Number 13. Even though he's been Disillusioned, you can still see Harry's form shivering with the cold, and you make a slow sweeping motion down the length of his body with your wand, muttering a quiet warming spell under your breath. You hear him breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thanks."
Remus tuts quietly under his breath. "No spell for the rest of us, then?"
You smile. "You're not my godson."
Even in the dark, you can see him rolling his eyes at you.
"Here," Moody says, thrusting a piece of paper towards Harry. "Read quickly and memorise."
"What's the Order of the — ?"
"Not here, boy!" Moody snarls immediately, his eyes wide. "Wait 'til we're inside!"
He snatches the parchment out of Harry's hand and lights it on fire, dropping it to the ground, the edges curling in the flame.
"But where's — ?"
"Think about what you've just memorised," Remus says quietly.
After a moment, the run-down door of the Black house emerges in the space between 11 and 13, followed soon by grimy walls and windows.
"Come on, hurry," Moody growls, prodding Harry in the back.
You tap the door with your wand. Loud metallic clicks and squeaks sound behind the door before it creaks open, revealing the darkened hallway beyond. "Get in quick, Harry. But don't go far inside and don't touch anything."
You shuffle into the hallway behind Harry, casting a wary eye to the curtained portrait at the end of the hall, waiting for Moody to finish returning the light to the streetlamps before closing the door behind him.
"Here." Moody raps Harry hard over the head with his wand, lifting the Disillusionment Charm and returning Harry to his usual, visible state. Probably could've been a bit more gentle with it, but whatever.
"Now stay still, everyone, while I give us a bit of light around here," Moody says quietly. With a soft hissing noise, the old-fashioned gas lamps flicker to life, illuminating the depressingly drab hallway you're standing in.
Hurried footsteps alert you to Mrs Weasley's entrance, emerging from the basement door with a smile on her face as she makes her way toward you.
"Oh, Harry, it's lovely to see you!" she whispers, pulling Harry into a tight hug before holding him at arm's length and examining him critically. "You're looking peaky; you need feeding up, but you'll have to wait a bit for dinner, I'm afraid..."
She turns to you and the rest of the Order members and whispers urgently, "He's just arrived, the meeting's started..."
Everyone starts to make their way through the door, and Harry moves to follow Remus when you gently hold him back, a hand on his shoulder. "Sorry, Harry. Order members only. We'll talk later, yeah?"
"Ron and Hermione are waiting upstairs, you can wait with them until the meeting's over, and then we'll all have dinner," Mrs Weasley whispers to him. "And keep your voice down in the hall."
"Why?"
"I don't want to wake anything up."
"What d'you — ?"
"I'll explain later, I've got to hurry, I'm supposed to be at the meeting — I'll just show you where you're sleeping."
You give Harry and Mrs Weasley a wave before heading down into the basement, opening the door as quietly as possible and slipping into your usual spot beside Sirius at the table while Dumbledore speaks to Remus and Moody about Harry. You listen as Dumbledore outlines plans and guard duty: looks like you're on tomorrow night. Brilliant.
Snape sits across from you, and when your eyes meet he gives you a near-imperceptible head shake. Nothing on Wormtail yet. Then his eyes shift to hatred as he wrinkles his nose at Sirius beside you, and you notice that your husband is currently pretending to scratch his nose with just his middle finger extended, directly in Snape's eyeline.
Of course.
When the meeting is finally over, most of the Order members file out of the kitchen and upstairs, speaking in hushed voices as they enter the hall. You pull one of the scrolls of parchment from the middle of the table into your hands, skimming your eyes over a plan of the Department of Mysteries, exits and entrances marked in red.
Just then, you hear a clatter and a great, thankfully muffled, screeching starts from the hall. You sigh, rubbing your temples, and move to stand up and deal with your darling mother-in-law when Sirius gently pushes you back into your chair, standing up.
"I'll handle it."
Bill and Mr Weasley sit close by, heads pressed together as they mull over parchment and documents. After a minute or two, the screaming stops and Sirius reopens the door, Harry following close behind with Remus and the rest of the kids.
Mrs Weasley clears her throat and Mr Weasley jumps to his feet, hurrying over to give Harry's hand a shake. "Harry! Good to see you!"
Bill starts to try and roll up the scrolls and you move to help him, handing him the plan of the Department of Mysteries.
"Journey all right, Harry?" he asks. "Mad-Eye didn't make you come via Greenland, did he?"
"He tried," Tonks says, striding over to help you and immediately knocking over a candle, sending the wax spilling onto the parchment. "Oh, no — sorry — "
"Here," you say, waving your wand and muttering a spell to repair the parchment. In the light your wand casts, you spy Harry trying to catch a glimpse of what's written on the parchment.
Mrs Weasley sees him too, and clicks her tongue disapprovingly, snatching up the scrolls and shoving them into Bill's arms. "This sort of thing ought to be cleared away promptly at the end of meetings."
She sweeps off towards a dresser to start unloading dinner plates and you grab a cloth and wipe down the table for dinner.
"Sit down, Harry," Sirius says, retaking his usual spot at the table. "You've met Mundungus, haven't you?"
Mundungus, who has been snoring away at the end of the table, stirs and jolts awake. "Someone say m' name? I agree with Sirius..."
He raises his hand in the air as though voting, and you snort.
"Meeting's over, Dung," you say with a smile, giving his back a poke as you pass by with more plates. "Harry's arrived."
"Eh?" He peers at Harry before his face lights in recognition. "Blimey, so 'e 'as! Yeah...you all right, Harry?"
"Yeah."
Mundungus fumbles in his pockets and produces his trusty black pipe, lighting the tip with his wand and taking a long pull from it. A cloud of green smoke thickens the air around him instantly.
"Owe you an apology," he grunts.
"For the last time, Mundungus," calls Mrs Weasley in frustration, "will you please not smoke that thing in the kitchen, especially not when we're about to eat!"
"Ah. Right, sorry, Molly."
He stuffs the pipe back into his pocket, with slight reluctance.
Soon, a series of heavy knives are chopping meat and vegetables on their own, supervised by Mr Weasley, while Mrs Weasley stirs a cauldron dangling over the fire. Mundungus, Sirius, and Harry are talking at the table, and from the few snippets you overhear you can tell Sirius is complaining about being stuck inside with nothing to do — which you don't blame him for.
"At least you've known what's been going on," Harry says bracingly.
"Oh, yeah," Sirius says sarcastically. "Listening to Snape's reports, having to take all his snide hints that he's out there risking his life while I'm sat on my backside here having a nice comfortable time...asking me how the cleaning's going — "
"What cleaning?" Harry asks.
"Trying to make this place fit for human habitation," Sirius replies, waving a hand around the dismal kitchen. "No one's lived here for ten years, not since my mother died, unless you count her old house-elf, and he's gone round the twist, hasn't cleaned anything in years — "
"Sirius?" Mundungus pipes up, eyes focused on a silver goblet in his hands, examining it with immense interest. "This solid silver, mate?"
"Yes," he answers, surveying the goblet with obvious distaste. "Finest fifteenth-century goblin-wrought silver, embossed with the Black family crest."
"That'd come off, though," Mundungus mutters thoughtfully, scrubbing the crest with his cuff.
"Fred — George — NO, JUST CARRY THEM!" Mrs Weasley shrieks.
Fred and George have bewitched a large cauldron of stew, an iron flagon of butterbeer, and a heavy wooden breadboard, to hurtle through the air towards the table. Harry, Sirius, and Mundungus leap away, just in time to avoid the pot of stew that skids the length of the table before stopping at the end, the flagon of butterbeer that falls with a crash and spills over the surface, dripping onto the floor, and the sharp knife that slips from the breadboard and sticks in the table where Sirius' hand had been moments before.
"FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!" Mrs Weasley screams, face red with fury. "THERE WAS NO NEED — I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS — JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE ALLOWED TO USE MAGIC NOW DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO WHIP YOUR WANDS OUT FOR EVERY TINY LITTLE THING!"
"We were just trying to save a bit of time!" Fred says, hurrying forward and wrenching the knife out of the table. "Sorry, Sirius, mate — didn't mean to — "
Harry and Sirius are laughing, and you turn your face away to hide your laughter from the furious Mrs Weasley. Mundungus struggles to his feet, swearing and muttering under his breath.
"Boys," Mr Weasley steps in, lifting the stew pot back into the middle of the table. "Your mother's right, you're supposed to show a sense of responsibility now that you've come of age — "
"None of your brothers caused this sort of trouble!" Mrs Weasley snaps at the twins, slamming a fresh flagon of butterbeer onto the table while you clean away the mess from the previous with your wand. "Bill didn't feel the need to Apparate every few feet! Charlie didn't charm everything he met! Percy — "
She stops dead, catching her breath with a frightened look at her husband. Mentions of Percy are not particularly welcomed in the house at the moment, after Percy and Mr Weasley had an especially heated argument and Percy chose his job at the Ministry over his own family.
"Let's eat," Bill says quickly.
For a few minutes, there is silence in the room but for the scraping of plates and cutlery and the creak of chairs as everyone settles down for the meal. You sit beside Sirius, who smiles and pulls your chair closer to his as you eat.
He tugs on the sleeve of your jumper, rolling the fabric between his thumb and forefinger. "I like this, it suits you. You look very pretty."
You scoff, giving him a smile. "Of course you like it, Sirius, it's yours. Anyways, I'm thinking of going back home soon just to collect a few things," you say. "Is there anything you want? I am seriously missing my telescope here — "
A loud burst of laughter drowns out the rest of your words, as Fred, George, Ron, and Mundungus roll around in their chairs.
"...and then," chokes Mundungus, tears running down his face, "and then, if you'll believe it, 'e says to me, 'Dung, where did ya get all them toads from? 'Cause some son of a Bludger's gone and nicked all mine!' And I says, 'Nicked all your toads, Will, what next? So you'll be wanting some more, then?' And if you'll believe me, lads, the gormless gargoyle buys all 'is own toads back off me for twice what 'e paid in the first place — "
"I don't think we need to hear any more of your business dealings thank you very much, Mundungus," Mrs Weasley says sharply.
"Beg pardon, Molly," he answers at once, wiping his face and winking at Harry. "But, you know, Will nicked 'em of Warty Harris in the first place so I wasn't really doing anything wrong — "
"I don't know where you learned about right and wrong, Mundungus, but you seemed to have missed a few crucial lessons," Mrs Weasley says coldly, before shooting a particularly nasty look at Sirius and standing up to fetch a large rhubarb crumble for dessert.
You sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose. Mundungus is certainly not the most law-abiding man, but he has his uses.
"Molly doesn't approve of Mundungus," Sirius says quietly to Harry.
"How come he's in the Order?"
"He's useful," Sirius mutters. "Knows all the crooks — "
"Well, he would, seeing as he is one himself," you add, taking a sip from your wine.
Sirius nods. "He's also very loyal to Dumbledore, who helped him out a tight spot once. It pays to have someone like Dung around, he hears things we don't. But Molly thinks inviting him to stay for dinner is going too far. She hasn't forgiven him for slipping off duty when he was supposed to be tailing you."
Several helpings of crumble later, the air in the room moves to a relaxed laziness as you finish telling the story of Remus's first time getting drunk at Hogwarts to Tonks, who giggles and laughs while Remus shakes his head and becomes increasingly interested in his goblet. Sirius's hand rests on your hip, idly drawing circles with his finger.
"I don't — uh — I don't remember that," Remus says, cheeks crimson as he glances at Tonks to see her reaction.
You hum, smiling at him. "Well, I certainly do. "
Tonks smiles appreciatively at Remus, yawning loudly.
"Nearly time for bed, I think," Mrs Weasley says, yawning too.
"Not just yet, Molly," Sirius says, pushing away his empty plate and turning to look at Harry. "You know, I'm surprised at you. I thought the first thing you'd do when you got here would be to start asking questions about Voldemort."
The change in the atmosphere is rapid: Mrs Weasley sits bolt upright, her fists clenched; Remus lowers his goblet warily, eyes meeting yours.
"I did!" Harry says indignantly. "I asked Ron and Hermione but they said we're not allowed in the Order, so — "
"And they're quite right," Mrs Weasley says firmly. "You're too young."
"Since when did someone have to be in the Order of the Phoenix to ask questions?" Sirius asks, raising his eyebrows. "Harry's been trapped in that Muggle house for a month. He's got the right to know what's been happen — "
"Hang on!" George interrupts loudly.
"How come Harry gets his questions answered?" says Fred angrily.
"We've been trying to get stuff out of you for a month and you haven't told us a single stinking thing!"
"You're too young, you're not in the Order," Fred says in a high-pitched imitation of his mother. "Harry's not even of age!"
"It's not my fault you haven't been told what the Order's been doing," Sirius says calmly. "That's your parents' decision. Harry, on the other hand — "
"It's not down to you to decide what's good for Harry!" Mrs Weasley says sharply, a dangerous look on her face. "You haven't forgotten what Dumbledore said, I suppose?"
"Which bit?" His tone is polite, but you spot the familiar tense in his jaw and know that this calmness won't last long.
"The bit about not telling Harry more than he needs to know," Mrs Weasley replies stonily.
Everyone else in the room is dead silent, their eyes flitting between Sirius and Mrs Weasley as though watching a tennis match. You meet Remus's eyes across the table, subtly shaking your head.
"I don't intend to tell him more than he needs to know, Molly," says Sirius. "But he was the one who saw Voldemort come back. He has more right than most to — "
"He's not a member of the Order of the Phoenix!" Mrs Weasley snaps. "He's only fifteen — "
"And he's dealt with as much as most in the Order, and more than some — "
"No one's denying what he's done!" Mrs Weasley's voice rises, her fists trembling with anger. "But he's still — "
"He's not a child!" Sirius says impatiently.
"He's not an adult either! He's not James, Sirius!"
Sirius stares back at Mrs Weasley, poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue. His voice is ice. "I'm perfectly clear who he is, thanks, Molly."
"I'm not sure you are!" Mrs Weasley says hotly. "Sometimes, the way you talk about him, it's as though you think you've got your best friend back!"
"What's wrong with that?" says Harry.
"What's wrong, Harry, is that you are not your father, however much you might look like him! You are still at school and adults responsible for you should not forget it!"
"Meaning I'm an irresponsible godfather?" Sirius demands, his voice rising.
"Meaning you've been known to act rashly — "
"Enough," you say loudly, stopping the two. You inhale deeply. "Harry deserves to know a certain amount. He has been left in the dark for a month, and I have no doubt that he's used this time to come up with a few interesting theories of what's been going on. Don't you think he deserves to know what is true, from us, rather than a muddled version from...others?"
You don't doubt that a few of Fred and George's Extendable Ears have survived Mrs Weasley's purge.
Mrs Weasley looks back at you, breathing deeply. "Well..." she looks around the table for support, but receives none. "Well...I can see that I'm going to be overruled. I'll just say this: Dumbledore must have had his reasons for not wanting Harry to know too much, and speaking as someone who has Harry's best interests at heart — "
"He's not your son," Sirius says quietly.
"He's as good as!" Mrs Weasley snaps back fiercely. Great, just when you thought the argument had come to an end. "Who else has he got?"
You pause, hoping you misheard her.
"He's got us!" Sirius snaps back, gesturing between you and him.
"Yes. The thing is, it's been rather difficult for you to look after him while you've been locked up in Azkaban, hasn't it?"
Immediately, you feel your anger flare and you glare daggers back at her. "It's not like he had a choice, Molly!" You snap defensively. "How could you say something like that — "
"Molly, you're not the only person at this table who cares about Harry," Remus says sharply. "Sirius, sit down."
Sirius, who had begun to rise from his chair, sinks slowly back into his seat, face white.
"I think Harry ought to be allowed a say in this," Remus continues calmly. "He's old enough to decide for himself."
"I want to know what's been going on," Harry says at once.
Mrs Weasley looks at him for a moment, swallowing harshly. "Very well. Ginny — Hermione — Ron — Fred — George — I want you out of this kitchen, now."
Instant uproar.
"We're of age!" Fred and George cry together.
"If Harry's allowed, why can't I?" Ron shouts.
"Mum, I want to!" Ginny wails.
"NO!" shouts Mrs Weasley, her chest heaving as she stands. "I absolutely forbid — "
"Molly, you can't stop Fred and George," Mr Weasley says wearily. "They are of age."
"They're still at school — "
"But they're legally adults now."
"I — alright, fine, Fred and George can stay, but Ron — "
"Harry'll tell me and Hermione everything you say anyway!" Ron says heatedly. "Won't — won't you?" He adds uncertainly, meeting Harry's eyes.
"'Course I will."
Ron and Hermione beam.
"Fine!" Mrs Weasley shouts. "Fine! Ginny — BED!"
You hear Ginny stomping and raging at her mother all the way up the stairs, awakening Walburga's portrait when she reaches the hall. You sigh, hurrying off to force the curtains shut over the crazy woman with immense effort. You return, shutting the door to the stairs behind you, and fall back into your seat with a heavy sigh.
"Okay, Harry...what do you want to know?" Sirius speaks.
"Where's Voldemort? What's he doing? I've been trying to watch the Muggle news," Harry asks immediately, "and there hasn't been anything that looks like him yet, no funny deaths or anything — "
"That's because there haven't been any suspicious deaths yet," says Sirius. "Not as far as we know, anyway...and we do know quite a lot."
"More than he thinks we do, anyway," Remus adds.
"How come he's stopped killing people?" Harry asks.
"He doesn't want to draw attention to himself at the moment," you answer. "It would be dangerous for him. His comeback didn't quite come off the way he wanted it to, you see. He messed it up."
"Or rather, you messed it up for him," Remus says with a satisfied smile.
"How?" Harry questions, perplexed.
"You weren't supposed to survive!" Sirius says. "Nobody apart from his Death Eaters were supposed to know he'd come back. But you survived to bear witness."
"And the very last person he wanted alerted to his return the moment he got back was Dumbledore," says Remus. "And you made sure Dumbledore knew at once."
"How has that helped?"
"Are you kidding?" Bill says incredulously. "Dumbledore was the only one You-Know-Who was ever afraid of!"
"Thanks to you, Dumbledore was able to recall the Order of the Phoenix the day Voldemort returned," says Sirius.
"So what's the Order been doing?" asks Harry, looking around the table at everyone.
"Working as hard as we can to make sure Voldemort can't carry out his plans," Sirius answers.
"How do you know what his plans are?"
"Dumbledore's got a shrewd idea," says Remus, "and Dumbledore's shrewd ideas normally turn out to be accurate."
"So what does Dumbledore reckon he's planning?"
"Well, firstly, he wants to build up his army again," says Sirius. "In the old days he had huge numbers at his command; witches and wizards he'd bullied or bewitched into following him, his faithful Death Eaters, a great variety of Dark creatures. You heard him planning to recruit the giants; well, they'll be just one group he's after. He's certainly not going to try and take on the Ministry of Magic with only a dozen Death Eaters."
"So you're trying to stop him getting more followers?"
"We're doing our best," you say.
"How?"
"Well, the main thing is to try and convince as many people as possible that You-Know-Who really has returned, to put them on their guard," Bill tells. "It's proving tricky, though."
"Why?"
"Because the Ministry is still in denial," you say with a sigh. "You saw Fudge after Voldemort came back, Harry — he hasn't changed his mind at all. He's completely refusing to believe it."
"But why?" Harry asks desperately. "Why's he being so stupid? If Dumbledore — "
"Ah, well, you've put your finger on the problem," says Mr Weasley with a wry smile. "Dumbledore."
"Fudge is frightened of him," you say.
"Frightened of Dumbledore?" Harry says incredulously.
"Frightened of what he's up to," says Mr Weasley. "You see, Fudge thinks Dumbledore's plotting to overthrow him. He thinks Dumbledore wants to be Minister of Magic."
"But Dumbledore doesn't want — "
"Of course he doesn't," Mr Weasley speaks, adjusting his spectacles. "He's never wanted the Minister's job, even though a lot of people wanted him to take it when Millicent Bagnold retired. Fudge came to power instead, but he's never quite forgotten how much popular support Dumbledore had, even though Dumbledore never applied for the job."
Remus clears his throat. "Deep down, Fudge knows Dumbledore's much cleverer than he is, a much more powerful wizard, and in the early days of his Ministry he was forever asking Dumbledore for help and advice. But it seems that he's become fond of power now, and much more confident. He loves being Minister of Magic, and he's managed to convince himself that he's the clever one and Dumbledore's simply stirring up trouble for the sake of it."
"How can he think that?" Harry says angrily. "How can he think Dumbledore would just make it all up — that I'd make it up?"
"Because accepting that Voldemort's back would mean trouble like the Ministry hasn't had to cope with for nearly fourteen years," Sirius says bitterly. "Fudge just can't bring himself to face it. It's so much more comfortable to convince himself Dumbledore's lying to destabilize him."
"Ignorance is bliss," you say sardonically.
"You see the problem," Remus says. "While the Ministry insists there is nothing to fear from Voldemort, it's hard to convince people he's back, especially as they don't really want to believe it in the first place. What's more, the Ministry's leaning heavily on the Daily Prophet not to report any of what they're calling Dumbledore's 'rumourmongering', so most of the Wizarding community are completely unaware anything's happened, and that makes them easy targets for Death Eaters if they're using the Imperius Curse."
"But you're telling people, aren't you?" says Harry, looking around the table. "You're letting people know he's back?"
You smile humourlessly.
"Well, as everyone thinks I'm a mass murderer and the Ministry's put a ten-thousand galleon price on my head, I can hardly stroll up the street and start handing out leaflets, can I?" Sirius says grimly.
"And people don't exactly find the wife of said criminal the most trustworthy either," you say bleakly, shrugging.
"I'm not a very popular dinner guest with most of the community," Remus tells. "Occupational hazard of being a werewolf."
"Tonks and Arthur would lose their jobs at the Ministry if they started shooting their mouths off," Sirius explains, "and it's very important for us to have spies inside the Ministry, because you can bet Voldemort will have them."
"We've managed to convince a few people though," Mr Weasley says optimistically. "Tonks here, for one — she's too young to have been in the Order last time, and having Aurors on our side is a huge advantage — Kingsley Shacklebolt's been a real asset too. He's in charge of the hunt for Sirius, so he's been feeding the Ministry information that Sirius is in Tibet."
"But if none of you is putting the news out that Voldemort is back — " Harry begins, but Sirius stops him.
"Who said none of us was putting the news out? Why d'you think Dumbledore is in so much trouble?"
"What do you mean?" Harry asks.
"They're trying to discredit him," Remus explains. "Didn't you see the Daily Prophet last week? They reported that he'd been voted out of the Chairmanship of the International Confederation of Wizards because he's getting old and losing his grip, but it's not true, he was voted out by Ministry wizards after he made a speech announcing Voldemort's return. They've demoted him from Chief Warlock on the Wizengamot — that's the Wizard High Court — and they're talking about taking away his Order of Merlin, First Class, too."
"But Dumbledore says he doesn't care what they do as long as they don't take him off the Chocolate Frog cards," Bill chimes in, grinning.
"It's no laughing matter," Mr Weasley says shortly. "If he carries on defying the Ministry like this, he could end up in Azkaban and the last thing we want is Dumbledore locked up. While You-Know-Who knows Dumbledore's out there and wise to what he's up to, he's going to go cautiously for a while. If Dumbledore's out of the way — well, You-Know-Who will have a clear field."
"What's he after apart from followers?" Harry asks quickly.
You exchange a glance with Sirius before he says, "Stuff he can only get by stealth."
Harry stays looking confused, and Sirius continues, "Like a weapon. Something he didn't have last time."
"When he was powerful before?"
"Yes."
"Like what kind of weapon?" Harry asks. "Something worse than the Avada Kedavra — ? "
"That's enough."
From the shadows beside the door, Mrs Weasley stands, her expression furious. "I want you in bed, now. All of you."
"You can't boss us — " Fred begins.
"Watch me," she snarls, before turning her unapproving gaze on Sirius. "You've given Harry plenty of information. Any more and you might just as well induct him into the Order straight away."
"Why not?" Harry says. "I'll join, I want to join, I want to fight — "
"No."
This time, it's not Mrs Weasley who speaks, it's Remus.
"The Order is comprised of overage wizards," he says.
"Wizards who have left school," you add quickly, seeing the twins open their mouths. You sigh, pushing your chair away from the table, patting Sirius's arm softly. "Molly's right, Sirius. We've said enough. I think it's time everyone got some rest."
He gives a half-shrug but doesn't argue, waiting as Mrs Weasley leads her children and Harry upstairs to their bedrooms.
Later, you yawn around your toothbrush, facing the mirror in the dimly-lit ensuite off Sirius's bedroom.
"She can't seriously think leaving Harry in the dark about all this is the better option," Sirius muses testily, idly fiddling with your jewellery on the nightstand as he talks. "He's not a child. He's deserves to know what's going on."
"I agree."
"And the way she brought up James — as if I can't tell the difference between my best friend and my godson," he continues in frustration. "I know he's not James, of course I know that — "
You spit into the sink, pulling the tap to rinse it out. "She didn't know James. She doesn't know how difficult it is to stop yourself from looking at Harry and seeing him. How hard it is to not look for him and Lily in everything."
"No," Sirius says after a moment. "She doesn't."
You run your hands down your face, sighing. "I can't believe she said that thing about you in Azkaban. I can't believe she would stoop that low, as if you had any fucking choice to be in there."
"She hates me," he says. "Do you see the looks she gives me?"
"She doesn't hate you," you tell him wearily, flicking off the light and closing the bathroom door behind you. You lean against the doorframe, folding your arms. "She's scared and worried about Harry, that's all. She's stressed."
"She's not the only one."
"No, she's not," you say softly, making your way over to where he sits on the bed, gently taking his face in your hands. "Look, forget about it now. What's done is done, there's no use dwelling on it now."
He sighs, leaning into your touch with a small sigh. "You really are the most amazing woman I've ever met."
"I try."
He kisses your knuckles one by one, then presses a kiss to the inside of your wrist. "And clever."
You hum, watching as his lips slowly travel up your arm, arriving at your neck, where he lingers for several moments to kiss every inch of exposed skin he can reach. "And beautiful."
He pulls you toward him so you're straddling his legs, and he grins. "So very beautiful indeed."

what are eloise's fav books? 👁️👁️
Tumblr media
Sorry it took me a while to respond, I woke up and saw this…and I’ve been thinking about it on and off all day while I pondered🤔💓
First, Eloise LOVES reading🥹📚🫶
She is also very introverted and thinky…Eloise tends to gravitate towards books that are more about capturing the essence of what it is to be human than plot-based books. She is living in the PERFECT ERA FOR THAT😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏
Also, for some reason I feel like the wizarding world is not renowned for its literature….they spend so much time mastering magic and studying it that I really doubt they spend much time reading novels 😔🙏 but Eloise was NOT in the wizarding world…she spent FIVE years in a muggle finishing school after she was believed to be a squib…none of the muggle girls really liked her bc she never understood what they were talking about, and she never made an effort to try and fit in, so she turned to reading for the first time in her life😇😇😇 gobbling up books like Matilda😇😇😇
(now she has a whole mini-library under her bed at Hogwarts, and has gotten a lot of the fifth-years passing around books that progressively get more worn down and loved)
…ONTO THE BOOKS😤
Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. Eloise has never felt like she was in charge of her life, so she loves reading about Elizabeth Bennet (her complete opposite but someone she admires so much bc she wishes she could have more of a backbone). Elizabeth isn’t afraid to speak her mind and doesn’t always follow social niceties if it means compromising her happiness😇
Middlemarch by George Eliot. A beautiful case study on being human (actually all of these books are…)
She LOVES the Russians…Tolstoy (Anna Karenina), Dostoyevsky (The Idiot, The Brothers Karamazov…), Gogol (Dead Souls)…
Little Women by Luisa May Alcott
I feel like Eloise would have also read Picture of Dorian Gray, but it came out in 1890 and I doubt she was up-to-date with new things being published bahahahaha. Maybe she’s not so interested in Frankenstein until she actually reads it, and it also becomes a favorite💓
I personally have a lot more favorite books from this time period, but these are the ones I thought Eloise would especially like💓💓💓 (I had to give a fellow bookworm good taste😇) (yes I think I have good taste in books…doesn’t everyone think that of themselves?💓)
Anyways if you’re interested here is the list of MY top 10 books…some of them are from after the year 1900 but ELOISE WOULD HAVE LIKED THEM TOO😤

The sight that greeted Victor Rookwood as he exited the Hog's Head that fateful evening would be forever ingrained in his memory.
The street was dark and eerily quiet, and the dapper wizard had just taken a few steps outside the seedy pub before he realized something was amiss, causing him to stop abruptly and survey his surroundings.
"Lumos."
Tumblr media
Continued below...
At first, Victor was more disoriented than anything - unsure that he could trust what he was seeing with his own eyes. The dark wizard blinked a few times in confusion before, slowly, he began to make sense of the gruesome display before him.
Heaps of... dirty rags? Someone has made rather a mess, it seems. . .
No. That's blood.
Blood and worse.
Before him was a scene of utter carnage the likes of which he'd never seen. A slaughter. The lifeless bodies of several young witches were splayed out in the middle of Spire Alley, a spectacle so macabre that even the dark wizard, well-accustomed to death, felt his stomach lurch at the sight.
A ginger witch lay eviscerated. Another's golden hair fanned around her angelic face like a halo. A brunette was positioned face down in a pool of her own blood. A strange-looking witch with odd-coloured hair... Victor shuddered as he recalled that one. He remembered her as having been particularly annoying.
And yet more still.
Sisters in death. Some he recognized outright, a vague familiarity to the rest. Their faces - doubtless once beautiful, now befouled by their own blood. Twisted limbs at grotesque angles. Internal organs now decidedly external.
Gods..
And in the center a... survivor? Victor tentatively stepped forward, perhaps even to offer a helping hand, as the pale witch clad in black gazed up at him adoringly.
"Victor.. I did it for you. For us."
Tumblr media
Rookwood watched, horrified comprehension dawning on his face as the witch released a bloodied dagger she'd been holding. He barely registered the sound of the steel clattering to the cobblestone over the pounding of his heart.
"I love you, Victor."

Buried in a Book | R.L.

pairing: remus lupin x fem!reader
includes: remus being the best boyfriend in the entire world, reader feeling a little insecure, reader’s last name is rawlings (no, i didn’t realize how close it was to rowling until later 😞)
a/n: someone spam message me to finish my coryo series please 😭🙏
Tumblr media
One of the best things about being in Gryffindor were the people you made friends with. From rule-breakers — such as James and Sirius — to heavy rule followers — Lily Evans herself — it was so diverse. You could throw pranks with the marauders while being a prefect. By the end of sixth year, the group was tight knit and it seemed as if nothing could ever ruin it.
But there was one thing they would typically forget about with their rambunctious nature. They always forgot about you in their plans. It wasn’t as if they did it intentionally. No, it was because you were always off in your own world, and when they made plans you didn’t hear them. Usually one of the girls would tell you, or your loving boyfriend, but you felt awful every time.
Today was no exception.
Sirius and Marlene made plans to Hogsmeade during breakfast for the weekend. And of course the rest of the group seconded that call and hurriedly ate their food to prepare for the trip. Being oblivious to everything that was happening, you continued to read your novel until Remus cleared his throat as a small warning.
Hearing this, you put a finger to your last sentence and looked up at him, eyebrows knitting up in confusion at the lack of noise coming from around you. “Where did they all go?”
“They made plans for Hogsmeade about…” He looked down at his watch, tapping it softly. “… Five minutes ago.”
He stacked the plates surrounding their area, your eyes watching his movements in silence. You thought you were listening to them this morning, but the last thing you heard before you got fully immersed was the next prank Sirius wanted to pull on Severus Snape.
Frowning, you carefully put your bookmark into your book and leaned your head on Remus’ shoulder, voice coming out quiet. “I didn’t realize.”
Remus wrapped an arm around your shoulders and pressed a kiss to your temple for assurance. “It’s okay, dovey. You were so invested in your book that I didn’t want to bother you.” He gently helped you up from the bench and pulled your closer to him, his slender fingers tracing patterns on your shoulder. “Besides, I get to have quality time with my best girl.”
A soft smile graced your lips at his comment, but a small part of your mind was eating at you. What if they were talking about something important and Remus wasn’t there to tell you about it? You guessed the girls would, but you would bet they would forget to tell you before you realized they left you.
“Is there anyway specific they asked us to meet then?” You murmured as you entered the Gryffindor common room where only a young first year was sitting by the fire and reading a muggle book.
“I think we both know the answer to that.” He played with the ends on your hair as he pulled around to face you properly. He twisted the ends and watched them unfurl until meeting your eyes.
You looked up and shook your head in amusement as you both said “The Three Broomsticks” at the same time. You scrunched your nose and smiled again when he kissed your forehead as a short parting gesture.
By the time you left the common rooms and made it to The Three Broomsticks, they were just leaving, causing another wave of guilt pass through you.
“There you two are! We were wondering when the both of you would make it.” Sirius pushed in between the both of you to wrap his arms around yours and Remus’ shoulders. “You guys missed out on Evans chugging down her butterbeer because Dorcas dared her.”
You blinked and looked over to Lily in surprise, but the wave of guild began to crash again. “Oh, that must’ve been interesting.”
“Very.” He nudged your side softly before noticing how weary you looked. “You okay there, Rawlings?” His voice got quiet and leaned closer to you. “You and Moony didn’t… You know?”
“Godric, what is wrong with you?” You push him away and dust the invisible dirt off your side. “No, I didn’t realize you guys left us so we went back to the common room before coming here.” You roll your eyes and trudge into Honeydukes with a frown on your face.
“Just a question!” Sirius called after you and look toward Remus instead. He gave him an unimpressed look and peeled Sirius’ arm off of him, raising a brow at the man. “She knows I was joking, right?”
“She does, but she’s not in the mood.” Remus rolled his eyes at Sirius as well before following your steps into the candy-filled store. “And for your information, the time span between leaving us and coming here wouldn’t give us enough time to make it satisfactory.”
Sirius creased his brows in confusion before gaping at his best friend. He looked back at James in shock before watching Remus enter the store with a smirk on his face. “Never in my entire life have I heard Remus John Lupin talk about his game like that.”
Tumblr media
You watched young wizards and witches mess with the candy from the corner of Honeydukes, fiddling with your own sweater. Well, technically it was Remus’ but he gave it to you sometime last year. But as you played with the loose thread, the same guilt came back to gnaw on your feelings.
It was fine when it was only you missing out on the unplanned fun, but when Remus misses out on fun that he could’ve seen made you upset beyond belief. You didn’t think your own behavior could affect Remus this badly. And it’s not like Sirius helped when he asked about you and Remus.
“Dove?” Remus rounded the corner and found you biting the end of your thumbnail, making him sigh. He gently pulled your hand away and met your eyes. “What’s wrong, dovey?”
“Nothing.” You mumbled, wiping your hand on your sweater. You grimaced at the feeling but looked at Remus with solemn eyes. “Where’s the rest of them?”
He laced his hand with yours, squeezing it softly. “They went to Tomes and Scrolls. I think they’re buying gifts? I’m not to sure.”
You frowned, “When did they say that?”
“They didn’t. They were just heading in that direction when I left them.” He brought your hand up and kissed your knuckles. He watched your glazed eyes blink to get rid of the wet. “Talk to me, my love.”
You raised both brows at the name and felt your face warm. It was rare for him to call you his love, so everytime it made you feel like a child in a candy store, which was technically half true given the setting.
“Don’t you think it’s kind of annoying I zone in and out of our conversations with that whole group?” You finally spoke after a good second, fiddling with his fingers in anticipation for his answer. “We never get to do anything fun or on time because of me, and I’m not too sure why you still bother with me because of it—“
“Dovey,” Remus gave you a small smile, tilting his head down fully to speak only loud enough for you. “Do you really think I care what we miss with them? As long as I have you with me, I couldn’t care less.”
You gently squeeze his hand, “Don’t you want to hate me just a little bit?”
“Never.” He kissed your head. “Why would I ever hate you for your quirk? I think it’s cute that you get to immersed in your own world when reading. And you know why I love it so much?”
“Why?” You smile and tilt your head up to perfectly meet his own tilted head.
“Because then I get to hear all about what happens from your beautiful voice.” Remus grinned his wolfish grin, adjusting the sweater you have on. “So don’t worry too much about me missing out on those pricks because they don’t talk about anything worthwhile.”
You roll your eyes and let out a noise of surprise when he softly connects his waiting lips to yours. Instantly, you melt and return the kiss with equal passion before breaking apart, smiling giddily at him.
“What was that for?” You lay your cheek on his shoulder as shyness took over your body, especially with so many people around you both.
“Just love you.” He thumbed your waist now, nudging his chin onto your head softly. “And I wouldn’t want you any other way.”

✧A/N - please read ✧ this fic is still and will remain on hiatus until it's completion. I will not respond to asks about when the next update will be (feel free to gush and discuss, just please don't ask for updates). this fic, for whatever reason, is a sore spot for me & if I didn't have people who loved it so much, I'd have trashed it by now, so please take this into consideration. secondly, the taglist is closed and I will no longer be tagging anyone on future updates - kudos to all of the creators who take the time to offer tag lists because it is not easy and I will never be doing it for another fic again lol
Remus had been trying (and failing) to pay attention to the lesson, but apparently watching the odd bird fly past the window was far more entertaining than listening to Professor Binns’ sluggish lesson about the Goblin rebellions.
Yesterday’s conversation with you was still replaying at the forefront of his mind; most of Remus’ thoughts were already about you, mind you, but this had become an incessant point of worry for him. He found that he was particularly bothered by how bothered you appeared to be.
Remus was the first to admit his friends weren’t always the…easiest to be around. They were loud, abrasive, brash, somewhat aggressive, and always up to something.
He should have been more patient with you and your friends; as much as Moony called you his; you were your own first.
You always had to come first.
Moony huffed in response to that but seemed to relent when Remus insisted the utmost importance was your happiness and safety.
Even the werewolf couldn’t argue with that.
He could tell you were still bothered today; he could feel it, in the rise of your heart rate intermittently throughout the morning, or the white hot heat that would settle in his (your) chest before evening out just as quickly. He had learned by now that you were quite attuned with your own feelings, and seemed to control them very well. Remus found himself quite jealous of that trait. It was clear how deeply you were attuned to emotions, both yours and others, and the way that tended to influence your behaviours.
You seemed to be content right now, and Remus found himself wondering where on the castle grounds you might be right now.
Gods, he was such a freak.
Want. Mine? Where mine?
He fought the urge to groan at Moony as he returned his gaze to the front of the class.
It appeared that Remus wasn't the only one with a lack of interest in Binns’ wearisome lesson as most of his classmates were beyond even pretending to pay attention; a few even drooling on their textbooks and letting out the odd snore.
It didn’t appear to bother Binns much who continued drilling on about the role goblin metal played in the rebellions.
Remus wondered if the professor had ever put himself to sleep during one of his lectures. He let out a small snort at that.
Before he could be concerned about whether anyone heard him or not, Remus felt an abrupt tension wash through him. No, not him. You.
You were beyond tense, a tight kind of worry worming its way through your core.
Not good. Not good. Not good.
Though Remus didn’t find himself in a position to argue with Moony, he didn’t find the commentary particularly helpful. But for the first time since the soulbond came into effect, Moony quieted completely - almost as if he was allowing Remus to fully lock in on you.
Shock - horror? You’d been startled… a painful surprise. Why couldn’t Remus think of the bloody word for the way you were feeling?
It quickly moved to heartbreak; it was as if Remus could feel himself sinking to the ground along with your heart.
Where the hell were you right now?
The heavy, sinking pain settled in Remus’ stomach whilst the sounds of Professor Binns and the surrounding student’s snores fell away into a quiet hum; Remus simply ceased to exist in the physical world as his consciousness went looking for you.
Disappointment and guilt is what you seemed to settle on; a decisive determination forming in your mind.
Then your heart spiked.
Worry?
Pain?
Panic???
Remus had little time to acknowledge his realisation before an ice cold terror overtook you.
He could feel the violent rattle of your heart in your chest as your lungs started to burn; it was as if he could hear you screaming.
And Moony went feral.
NOW. NOW. NOWNOWNOWNOWNOWNOWNOW NOW.
Remus hardly even realised that he had shot up until the chair fell to the ground with a loud thunk, likely startling the many napping students out of their slumber but he found that he just didn’t care about the disturbance he made as he took off in a full sprint out of the History classroom.
He took the stairs two at a time in what felt like an arbitrary direction; he couldn’t tell you even if he tried where his feet were taking him, all his mind was concerned with was getting to you.
Remus had no idea where you were, but he'd find you.
If he didn’t know something was terribly wrong before, he certainly knew it now when your panic turned into a frantic desperation; cold, so cold was the terror that seeped down into your very soul. He was certain your magic was calling out to him, even as your core began to weaken.
I’m coming, dove. I’m coming. Remus chanted as Moony howled in agreement.
Remus’ own lungs burned nearly as badly as his legs did but he didn’t slow down, even when he shoved past a group of first years as he tore through the courtyard. He’d be sorry later; right now he had somewhere to get to, someone to get to.
Remus was just beginning to regret not taking up James’ offers to go for runs with him in the mornings when he felt a sharp relieved feeling - it was not relief, but a relieved moment - before shock and horror took over.
Your heart rate was a riot and you were distressed but Remus was sure he could feel you breathing and it was enough, it had to be enough until he got to you.
He had to get to you.
“Remus!” James shouted in a manner that told Remus it hadn’t been the first time he did so.
Remus simply turned to look at him over his shoulder without slowing down.
“Mate! What the hell?!”
“Something is wrong.” Remus shouted.
“Yeah, you’ve bloody lost the plot it seems - I’d say that’s very wrong!” James replied breathlessly.
Remus was going to tell him to sod off when relief came in the sight of you, though the relief was tentative when he noticed you soaking and hunched in on yourself in the sand.
“Y/N!” He shouted then; you didn’t react, which only resulted in him panicking more.
“Y/N!” He shouted again as he made it to you; sinking to his knees in the wet sand as his chest burned. “Dovey, hey. Hey, look at me. Are you okay? Baby please, look at me.”
He finally brought a hand to your chin and tilted your head up to him; your skin was horridly cold and eyes were wild as your own chest heaved like you, too, had just run all this way.
“What happened, dove? Are- are you okay? What happened?” He was practically begging at this point but he couldn’t bring himself to care, even as James made his way over to stand behind you.
“What’s going on?” James asked quietly; Remus could only shake his head at him.
“You’re soaked. Did you fall in?” He tried asking you; you simply looked towards the water in response.
James quickly shed his jumper and handed it to Remus who wrapped it around you before he shed his own cardigan to wrap that around you as well.
“Please baby, talk to me?” Remus begged. Your lip trembled and you pointed your gaze to your lap.
He felt completely helpless; he had this deep desire - no, need - to help you, to protect you. He wanted to know what happened so he could fix this; he wanted to fix this.
But this wasn’t about what Remus wanted, it was about what you needed… what you deserved.
“Prongs?” Remus said quietly as he simply settled into the wet sand beside you, pulling you into his lap and cocooning you with his body to provide you with some of his warmth. “Can you go get Junior? Please?”
James quickly looked between the two of you before nodding and running back towards the castle.
·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·。·
Remus had been unable to encourage any more from you than a few shuddering breaths and a squeeze of your hand that he was holding hostage in his.
He wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to let you go again.
Unfortunately, this appeared to be one more of his many plans destined for failure.
“Treasure!?” Barty called as he and James ran over. “Hey! Tres, you okay?” He breathed as he knelt in front of you and Remus, much like Remus had when he found you mere moments ago.
“Talk to me.” Barty whispered as he pushed your damp hair away from your face.
You let out a short breath that had you deflating significantly, as if you’d been sitting with every string in your body pulled taut until Barty had shown up.
It hurt, for a moment, knowing you weren’t Remus’ person - or rather, that he wasn’t yours - but he bit back the emotion flooding in his mouth because it still wasn’t about what Remus wanted, it was about what you needed.
And right now, you needed Barty.
Your chin dimpled as your bottom lip began to wobble and Remus watched as your eyes filled with tears.
“What happened?” Barty begged through a whisper, and that seemed to be the last of your resolve.
Remus was forced to relinquish his hold on you as you dissolved into tears and fell bodily into Barty’s embrace; he seemed to be expecting it though and caught you readily in a way Remus wondered if he’d ever be capable of.
Unable to explain your hurt to Barty, you simply sobbed and clung to him as he looked at Remus in horrified bemusement.
Remus could only shrug his shoulders and shake his head remorsefully.
“Okay, you’re alright Treasure. We’ll figure this out, yeah? We’ve always figured it out; you and me, okay?”
Remus immediately felt like he was encroaching on something entirely too private and stood; bitterness, grief, and worry twisting up an emotional cocktail that he knew would taste horrid on the way down.
“Lupin.” Barty called out, forcing Remus to pause as he made his way towards James. “Thank you, for fetching me.”
Remus simply nodded before turning back for the castle.
“I’ll-” Barty called again before pausing, waiting for Remus to turn around once more. “I’ll let you know how we make out.”
Remus nodded and let out a breath. “Thank you.”
The two boys shared a knowing look before Remus turned, joining James as they headed back towards the castle - no doubt facing a detention or two for causing a scene and abandoning class - in silence.

Remus learnt little else about what happened at the lake until dinner when Regulus approached them with the small amount of information Barty had managed to get from you.
“She said she fell in?” James asked quizzically then.
Regulus tilted his head side to side in a so-so. “It was less that she said it and more that she agreed with Barty that that’s what happened. Why?”
James shook his head as if jostling around the thoughts in his brain would make it make more sense. “She’s been going to that dock for months to feed the mermaids, I-”
“She wasn’t feeding them.” Remus interjected quickly. “She was bringing them gifts.”
Remus looked up from his novel to see his friends and Regulus staring at him incredulously.
“Right…” James continued after a beat. “So, she’s been going to that dock for months to bring gifts to the mermaids, and she’s never once had an issue. Why now?”
Regulus heaved a sigh as he shrugged his shoulders defeatedly. “We’ve not been able to get much more out of her; she just keeps saying she needs to ‘fix things’.”
“What things?” James asked then, causing the younger Black brother to sneer at him.
“I just said we haven’t been able to get more out of her, Potter. Merlin; tu t’entoures d’idiots, frère.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Sirius moaned in exasperation. “Thank you, Reg.”
“Thank you.” Remus seconded, earning him a nod of understanding from the younger Black.
Remus returned to his novel, though he found himself unable to make sense of any of the words. James was right; something just didn’t make sense.
Just yesterday you had laughed at Remus for his concern for you on the dock
… Remus quickly stood and gently helped you stand and pulled you closer to the middle of the dock, away from the edge you’d been inhabiting.
You giggled at him; the first real spontaneous emotion he thinks he had ever heard from you, and it caused Remus’ heart rate to speed up double time.
“You needn’t worry, Remus.” You expressed solemnly. “I’m very careful.”  …
And James seemed to know that to be true as well.
What weren’t you telling them? And what did you need to fix?
Tumblr media
It wasn’t until later that evening that Remus came to realise what it was that you weren’t telling them.
“Remus! Is she okay!?” He heard Amelia call breathlessly as she approached him in the library.
Remus was momentarily confused; he hadn’t spoken to Amelia in what felt like weeks, and he couldn’t imagine who she was possibly referring to.
“Pardon?” He asked dumbly.
“Y/N.” Amelia answered quickly; a deep divot present between her brows. “I just heard what happened; I swear I had no idea what they were doing, Rem. I would have never allowed it!”
Remus quickly slammed his History tome closed and stood over her menacingly.
“Allowed what?” He sneered at her. “Who are ‘they’ and what exactly did ‘they’ do to her?”
Amelia seemed to baulk at the sudden severity of Remus, but she soldiered on. “I.. it was Silas, Shirley, and Coraline. They- I guess they figured, well-”
“Spit it out, Amelia.” Remus hissed at her.
“They think they were like, defending me, or something… by picking on her. I guess they tried to tell her to back off from you, and Silas said he shoved her in the Lake.”
Bad. Bad, bad, bad. Kill.
And while Remus knew, generally speaking, that he couldn’t kill a bunch of Hufflepuffs, he didn’t exactly disagree with the enraged and murderous Wolf howling inside of him.
“Is she okay?” Amelia asked again, quieter this time.
Remus felt bad when he noticed her cowering slightly beneath him; he felt bad about all of it.
Leading her on, playing with her feelings when he knew she liked him as more than a friend, and for ever getting you tangled up in this mess of his.
He planned to never let it happen again.
“I’m not sure, Amelia.” He admitted then, realising somewhat belatedly that he had been simply waiting on you to come to him instead of actively working to help you fix this. “But she will be; I’ll make sure of it.”
Amelia offered him a sad smile at that. “Okay…thank you, Remus.”
“I’m sorry, Amelia.” He blurted then, watching as her sad smile turned soft.
“Thank you, Remus. Tell Y/N I’m sorry, too, okay?”
And Remus watched Amelia walk away as he formulated a plan.

James was easy to find, seeing as he was currently hanging on to every word coming out of Lily Evan’s mouth as she practised her presentation for the upcoming Herbology assignment.
“Hey, Rem.” Lily greeted with a smile as she shuffled through her cue cards, causing James to turn comically in his place on the couch where he’d been sitting with his elbows on his knees and his chin on fists.
“‘Lo Moons!”
“Prongs, I’m sorry, but are you terribly busy right now?” Remus immediately felt bad for asking when James grimaced and turned to look at Lily. “It’s Y/N.” He clarified.
James immediately turned back towards him. “Is she okay?”
Remus shrugged his shoulders. “But I know what happened.”
James’ face turned solemn as he turned to give Lily an apologetic smile.
She quickly smiled tenderly at him and waved him off. “Go, Potter. Make sure she’s okay for me, yeah?”
James beamed at her before jumping up and planting a smacking kiss on the red-head’s cheek. “You were doing brilliantly, Lils! I’ll help you practise more later!”
“That seemed cosy.” Remus murmured as they stepped into the hallway and shut the door behind them.
“It certainly felt cosy.” James agreed readily.
With the map that James had on his person, finding Sirius was an easy feat - what was not an easy feat was opening the broom closet door to find him and a Ravenclaw in various states of undress with their tongues down each other’s throats.
“Sorry, sweets.” Sirius winked at the other student as he pulled up his fly. “Duty calls.”
They found Pete in Chess Club and pulled him away from the game he was currently “winning, you absolute sods!” by the collar of his uniform shirt.
And with the full moon a little bit more than 24 hours away, even Moony couldn’t deny the advantage they’d have with a little more help…
“It says he’s in the library.” Peter explained as he trailed behind the group with the map.
“Where’s my- where’s Y/N?” Remus quickly corrected himself.
Peter hummed as he searched the map whilst Sirius and James shared a knowing look behind Remus’ back. “Says she’s in Ravenclaw.”
Good, that was good.
You were fine. Safe.
And Remus knew that just had to be true, because Barty wouldn’t have agreed to leave your side otherwise.
Back where Remus had begun this search, they did indeed find Barty hunched over a large looking tome at a table as Regulus, Dorcas, and Evan conversed quietly beside him.
“Unless you’re here to learn the art of the Mermish language, bugger off.” Barty muttered without raising his head as Evan and Dorcas eyed the Marauders warily.
“Relax, Meadows.” Sirius taunted. “We’re not here to prank you lot.”
“Forgive me if I don’t particularly believe you.” She muttered in response, narrowing her eyes at the boy.
“To what do we owe this displeasure?” Evan drawled as he twirled his want in his hand.
“Play nice, Rosier.” Regulus muttered; obviously not particularly grateful for the Gryffindors’ company but clearly understanding there was  a reason for it.
“What, did you just say you were learning Mermish?” James asked Barty then; never one to manage to stay on task.
Barty did look up at that only to look at James in bemusement. “Yes?”
“Why?” James continued, causing Barty to scoff.
“To thank them for saving Treasure, obviously. Do keep up, Potter.”
A disbelieving breath escaped Remus’ lips as he scrutinised your oldest friend. “That’s…actually really nice of you, Junior.” He admitted quietly, causing Barty’s bemused gaze to flit to him.
“Well yeah…I’m a real sweetie pie.” Barty muttered as if that had been really quite obvious and didn’t know why they were all talking about it, suddenly.
“Listen, I found out what happened to Y/N.” Remus announced then; every Slytherin quickly standing at attention for Remus to explain.
“They shoved her in?” Regulus confirmed slowly, earning him a nod in agreement from Remus.
“Well boys,” Barty started as he stood with a flourish, pausing at Dorcas’ pointed ‘ahem’ to amend “and Meadows, fuck’s sake”, “looks like we’ve got some Hufflepuff’s to kill!” He cheered gleefully, moving towards the library doors as if expecting everyone to follow him.
“We’re…we’re not going to actually kill them, right guys?” Peter asked nervously as the Slytherin’s rose from their respective seats, and the Gryffindor’s trailed after them.
“Right!?”

THEODORE NOTT
In his year, he had the highest potions grade, beating even the biggest nerds, like Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy. Which was surprising, considering he never studied, preferring to spend his time sat by the black lake, a cig between his fingers as he listens to the conversation around him, occasionally joining in. His habits consisted of expensive wine and smoking, neither of which were good for him, but it was worth it to get a moment of peace, away from his own brain, negative thoughts constantly nagging at the back of his mind. What he was addicted to most of all though, was his cat. A small, furry black thing that he had found wondering around the castle. At first, he had asked around, to see if it was someone's lost property. When nobody said yes, he was confused, why was there a stray cat in hogwarts? By now, he couldn't just abandon the cat, it'd already grown accustomed to him. The only issue was the holidays, his father despised cat's. He would have to tackle that problem when he came to it, for now, it was cuddles with a kitty.
