Hobo’s last album, The Rise of Hobo Johnson, peaked at #11 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart after the success of Peach Scone.In a handful of weeks, this film went global, garnering millions of views. By submitting a video of the song Peach Scone to YouTube, the band entered the Tiny Desk Contest.Derek is a guitarist, Jordan is a guitarist and keyboardist, David is a bass guitarist, Ben is a drummer, and Jmsey is a keyboardist and guitarist.Lead vocals, guitar, keyboards, and production are all handled by Hobo. Frank, often known as Frankie, is a fictional character. Frank Lopes Jr., Derek Lynch, Jordan Moore, David Baez-Lopez, Ben Lerch, and Jmsey are the names of the players. There are presently six members of Hobo Johson and the LoveMakers.Hobo and his friends, called “Hobo Johnson and the LoveMakers,” uploaded a music video on Facebook on March 7, 2018, as part of NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest (NPR).His themes also touch on dealing with the challenges and tribulations that we experience on a daily basis in real life. Furthermore, Hobo Johnson creates songs about chasing love and relationships with authenticity.Artist of the Year, Best Hip-Hop/Rap, Best Emcee, and Best New Artist were the categories, in that order. At the age of 15, he began performing music and hip-hop. Hobo Johnson & the LoveMakers is an American rock band led by Hobo Johnson.His curly hair appears to be one of his face’s defining features. His eyes and hair are, nevertheless, brown. Similarly, no information on his dress or shoe sizes is available. His additional bodily measurements are still unknown. Every year NPR hosts a contest for their Tiny Desk concert series in order to highlight up and coming talent. One year a band called Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers entered, and while they didn't win, their live rendition of "Peach Scone" went viral. Hobo Johnson's speak/sing/yell style wound up being a perfect vehicle to deliver his desperate yet heartfelt feelings about being in love with a friend who's already with someone else. Since then, he's struggled to put together another hit, but I think he did it this year with "Typical Story". We've got plenty of exasperated yelling, but this time it's paired with some grungy guitars and fuzzy bass, and Johnson uses all his pent up energy to tie his own story of self-contempt and anxiety in with various other depressing tales.

Best Moment: At 1:40 when Johnson goes in deep on the existential loathing with "Everybody's gotta live a life / that they didn't ask for, why / would he put me here just to die / just to, just to, die".
