I keep forgetting that technically the sandman is part of the dcu and it's just so funny to me like could you imagine Morpheus having to go to Gotham and running into batman? He would be so confused why a human would do such a thing willingly or he would be like "eh humanity has become so... peculiar lately I should perhaps ask Hob about it"

And Batman would just stand there in all his Stoic glory assessing this.... otherworldly being hoping he won't have to fight it.

(I feel like Alfred would offer morpheus tea and morpheus would politely say yes because lucienne have taught him manners)
