Svsss AU where when Shen Yuan sacrifices himself to save Luo Binghe Shen Jiu "reclaims" his body. Like. As soon as Shen Yuan's soul leaves his body Shen Jiu is left stumbling and he's like wait wtf just happened? But like, he was in there the whole time and he saw everything that Shen Yuan saw and basically knew everything that he knew, including about the system. So during his time observing basically he realizes that none of this is SY fault since it was forced on him.

He changes and maybe he's not so bitter once he realizes how his actions affected other people, and ultimately, himself. Once he wakes up in his own body in Cang Qiang Mountain again surrounded by the other peak lords and they realize that, Hey this is nothing like the dude we've been chilling with for like a decade now. This is like the dude no one liked before his fever, wtf?

I imagine SJ would like half assedly explain everything as he packs a bag to go find his new adopted baby brother's plant body so he can be brought back quicker and everyone is super confused because they think SY is borderline an imposter. Of course most of them are probably hurt and a little betrayed so they're mad, but SJ is like, Yeah fuck that, he didn't want this and he was nice to you, so get the fuck over it.

There would probably be like a couple days of angst and internal warring before at least Liu Qingge, a couple of disciples, and maybe Luo Binghe would come to terms with it and help SJ go find his brother's plant body. Hmmmm. Maybe not Luo Binghe...

Maybe in this Au everything stays the same for the most part except the peak lords all managed to snatched Shen Qingqiu's body and he hasn't worked up the courage or figured out how to get past their defenses to go get his body or something. So he's in the dark and thinks his sweet, loving Shizun sacrificed himself to save him and he's dead or whatever.

I think eventually SJ and his group of trouble would find either SY's body garden or Tianlang Jun... If they found SY and speed ran his revival using cultivation voodoo and he woke up to someone wearing what has been his face for over a decade, he would probably freak out. Especially when he realized that it was the original goods.

Idk, SJ would probably pull him aside and talk to him, or they would have to fight something together. Either way, they would speed run the bonding process through shared trauma and become basically attached at the hip. Like that one scene in Storks where those two wolves lick the baby and look at each other and go, "Are you in love?" "I am in love," yeah... That sounds good...

More on this as it develops...
