1: Bort (They-Them pronouns): They rubbed their eyes once and thought it was cool (in reference to the dark circles around their eyes), They're grumpy but sensible, HUGE Jellyfish nerd, They lost some hair in an accident with Cinnabar, they took it well.

2: Y.D (Yellow Diamond, They-Them pronouns): THE speed demon, Full of dad jokes, Can still pull a good prank, They own many bracelets, Has spent the most time with Blue Diamond (My OC), They're the 2nd tallest gem

3: Green Diamond (They-Them pronouns): Firm but fair, They're surprisingly sarcastic, They can be a bit insensitive at times, but they're working on it! They are the shortest Diamond

4: Red (They-Them pronouns): The beloved head gem, No one has ever seen them angry, They still hold some sadness, They're always up for a game

5: Dia (They-He pronouns): A super idol for the Lunarians, They're usually on the moon, but always makes time for home, Owns many many outfits, He's still a big softie ./END ID]

Some redesigns of all the diamonds from the Houseki no Kuni manga!! (Some with more changes than others.......) Their AU designs are somewhat inspired by events and arcs in the story! I have a list of all the canon gems but I'm not doing them in order, maybe when I've drawn them all I will post their age order (possibly including my OCs in that list) I wanna reiterate that these are simply my headcanons for them, and I don't wish to take away from anyone else's headcanons or the actual canon- I'm just having fun and trying to tell stories :)

Some old work from 2022 with my gems!

Brown Diamond is a strong fighter, talented craftsman and charismatic leader. Almost perfect, but slightly narcissistic. Emery is the strongest fighter who is not used to showing emotions. She can't imagine life without constant improvement, but hides a sensitive personality behind her diligence. Green Diamond is a gentle and understanding teacher, but because of her uncaring attitude a lot of her students ended up badly. Chrysoberyl and Cymophane are a pair of strong and very brash fighters. No doubt, they have saved quite a few Gems with their constant interference in other patrols. But they should be careful about taking too much initiative.

I thought about ttte hnk au and i have some ideas. Maybe i will draw it later

Gordon is a blue diamond (10), he was much faster than other gems, but then he lost his original arms and they were replaced with alloy, so he can't move that fast now. And he's a bit taller than other gems, because of alloy

I thought about Henry longer than about others. Originally his body was made from fluorite (4), but later his arms were replaced with amazonite (6,5) and his legs were replaced with tourmaline(7,5). These changes made Henry stronger and he started doing patrol duty, at the start with Edward, lately with Gordon. One day, when he was doing his patrol duty, he met with lunarians and during fighting, Henry lost his head and it was took by lunarians. Henry's current head is made from green topaz (8), after "coma" his personality changed, he took anxiety and skittishness from last owner of than head. Edward and Gordon still a bit worried, if Henry is still himself or he's actually different person now.

Edward is aquamarine (7.5). He's one of oldest gems on earth (±3500 y.o.). I didn't make backstory for him, yet

i’m just envisioning ranpo in the hnk au, where’s he’s currently the oldest gem but he mostly acts childish and mischievous, just like in canon but everybody respects him because he’s their main and most excellent strategist, he has plenty of experiences, and he’s fukuzawa’s favorite child. (they would tease him a bit about his age though and he would go “i’m not that old!!! i’m only 3,500 years old!!”) he would be a jade!! taken from souheki (double jade) and his green eyes are already jade colored!

I LOOVEEEE JADE THEY ARE SOOO CUTE. they’re my type of character I love. But he would defintely fit into that, plus jade is associated with wisdom so he got that in the bag too tbh. I wonder who would be diamond 🧐🧐 she’s really cute too…
