was a pretty typical older brother until his dad disappeared when he was nine... ruh roh!

as a result, his mom becomes the new owner and manager of yoo's electric service and she also had to be a mother on top of that... so that left seungmin feeling very guilty! so he decided that he needed to take on the responsibility of essentially being a father figure to his little sisters!

lowkey the pressure was a lot for him but he kinda just accepted that was how he was going to live. when his childhood best friend became an orphan and he insisted that she lived with him, she told him that she wouldn't live with him unless he lets himself be himself... to which he was like "UHHHH" so they had to compromise where she would help him out with being the one responsible for the family.

when he turned nineteen, he took ownership of the business and also realized he was in love with his best friend (yes the orphan one) <3 after a few years, they got married when he proposed to her!

two years after they got married she was MURDERED in front of his house! and he had her die in his arms and that's essentially when he decided that he was going to try and find the murderer and end them.

with no wife and basically feeling like the whole entire family depends on him, he's very miserable and grouchy >:( but he does have a soft side that comes out when there are babies or small animals or just... very naive people. he's been hardened because of the fact that he lost his father AND his true love from being in velgrove.

he's really only in velgrove for his family... and vengeance...

some of you may be wondering... why a dandelion? well i based his blog off of a tripleS song that has dandelion motifs in it i mean he associated his wife with a violet flower and he himself is a dandelion because before he was able to be sturdy (yellow dandelion) but with time, he becomes a sensitive puff that loses himself from even the small touch of a wind so it represents his pressures

All of his thoughts were full of her when he finally entered the front courtyard and dismounted swiftly from his huge steed. It was far too late to see his daughter so he would only greet her and spend time with her tomorrow morning. Right now, he practically ran all the way up to the main bedchambers, ignoring the amusement of the staff. The moment he reached the heavy door, he then slowly pushed it upon. I can't remember who said this, (if ur the one who made this point originally, pls comment on this post so I can properly give credit pls and ty) but the Uchiha and Senju were clans that are essentially the same, the main difference being appearance and also the fact that Uchihas have the Sharingan while the Senju and other clans don't.

For eg: The Uchiha have a more homogenized black hair, pale skin, and dark coloured eyes, while Senju appearances have more varieties (from what I can tell)Indra and Ashura Otsutsuki were BROTHERS.

They're not different races. If you asked me, I'd probably say that a good chunk of currently active shinobi clans are probably indirect descendants of Ashura or Indra. (Most likely Ashura since the it would give other clans a chance to develop their own signature jutsu)

Also, it's really insulting to compare an anime situation where the author just kinda bs and brought in characters who's only role was to move the plot forward, to real life problems that POC experience. (I am not a person of colour, but I am someone who has been made fun of being Asian, [that's not important rn])

the only memory santiago has of his family is os his siblings running through a green pasture; he can remember the soft feeling of his mother's lap underneath his cheek, and the way her fingers ran through his hair. the sound of little children laughing haunts his dreams, but there's not a single face in sight. the people in his memory are nothing but blurred sillouettes, ghosts of people he once knew, of the child he once was. the orphanage, though, of that his memories are crystal clear: the beating, the fear, the hope that somebody would come and rescue him, and then the subsequently disapointment once he grew old enough to understand that nobody would. and then, nanuvut. the cold was somehow worse than the beatings, worse than the physical training that took and took and took from him until santi was nothing but a shell of the smiley kid he'd once been. killing is all that he knows, but santiago has never been at peace with it. he's familiar with death, has given it his entire life and soul, but it has never been something he enjoyed, something he got used to it. despite all the training, his handlers have never been able to supress his kind soul and gentle ways— nature vs. nurture, santiago being the living proof that there are some things nothing can ever truly change. all he wants is some peace and quiet, a life away from all of the decay and violence; a herb garden far away from the city, a sunlit kitchen and a big library to ruffle through. his dreams of tranquility have yet to come: when all you know is the underbelly of chaos, the rotten people and monsters, no other place feels like home.

santiago tried leaving; at twenty-three, he tried to hang up his guns and become a regular, law-abiding citizen. and he didsurprisingly well. santiago went as far as graduating college, a major in psychology, and those were the best four years of his life. he partied, and he fell in love, and for the first time since he could remember, santi felt truly free. like he could finally be himself, like the blood on his hands had finally washed away. he settled down, and married a nice girl. his dreams of a suburbia life iwth white picket fences and a big slobbering dog were so close to become a reality he could barely believe it. a month after his marriage, another operative showed up. the operative -- probably a mercenary, santiago figured -- destroyed his home, tied his doe-eyed wife to a chair and ripped every single one of her nail before he got home from work. the message was clear: he was to return willingly to the red eye and fufill his purpose, or they would force his hand and the punishments for it would be devastating. his wife survived, but the trauma was too much. it ruined their marriage faster than anything else ever could, and santiago saw no other option but to return to his handlers with his tail between his legs. the corporeal punishments and risky missions were nothing compared to the feeling of falure, and santiago found solace in drowning himself in liquor, white lines and all sorts of chemicals that he could get his hands on. it started to affect his job, and santiago got slippery. more than once, the organization had to step in to prevent him from going to jail. considering his large death toll, santiago was giving a single chance: if he didn't get his act cleaned up, he could be terminated. as it turned out, santiago's destructive behavior was meant as self-sabotage, not as suicidal tendencies, and his self-preservation instincts took over. after a hellish period of going in and out of rehab, santiago has been somewhat clean; he hasn't exactly dropped the alcohol, though his black outs have stopped getting in the way of his work, and he's gone cold turkey on any narcotics. a functioning alcoholic, a friend called him once. it was good enough for the red eye, in the end.

an ex ; ever since his marriage, santi has big issues with commitment. in his life of work, he knows having a partner is a weaklink, something people can use against you. they cared for each other deeply, but once things got started to get serious, santiago jumped ship, probably in the worst way possible. a protegé ; there's something about this person that just makes santiago's instincts bubble up. it's someone he'd kill and die to protect, and has been working on teaching them as many of his own skills as he possibly can. bonus points if this is someone that can handle their own better than he ever could, but he insists that they need help anyways. the enemy ; santiago has made many enemies along the way ; he's quite blunt, and despite not enjoying violence, he does resort to it whenever needed. they've probably come blow to blow at some point before, and it doesn't get better. ( 0 / 1 )

the bad influence ; santiago's a very strict, logical person. he doesn't do things on whims, and certainly doesn't partake in reckless behavior very often. this is someone with whom santi's first instinct is to be “well, what the hell!” and he’ll do things he normally wouldn’t, be that go to a rave late at night, do the hard drugs he's supposedly given up years ago or just eat that greasy bacon cheeseburger that might give him a heart attack. Plot: Half-inspired by Orys Baratheon & Argella Durrandon from ASOIAF. Basically, Nik has been lifelong childhood best friends with a powerful emperor and has been the head commander of his armies. The emperor had been enemies with your character's father for quite some time and a little over a year ago, the emperor lay siege over your father's smaller kingdom and succeeded in taking over the kingdom with Nik leading the armies. Nik had defeated y/m father in a one-on-battle during the fighting, though not before giving him a chance to surrender and simply be imprisoned. Y/m father was then beheaded by the emperor and the emperor wanted to get rid of y/m too, when Nik intervened and advised the emperor on the benefits of keeping y/m alive and wedding y/m to him. The emperor begrudgingly agreed but demanded that Nik succeed in making the marriage work and to have an heir in 2 years time. Nik has been initially very patient, kind and accommodating and given her space to grieve and slowly adjust, but it's been a year now and his patience is slowly wearing thin. Hmu if u wanna know more about him or plot more beforehand!

Nikolas marched into the room where he knew he would find his wife quietly tending to her favourite hobby. True enough, there she was poised and seemingly absorbed in her work, not bothering to look at him nor greet him. It had been 12 months since their wedding but she still remained as distant as ever with him, despite his best attempts at being courteous, trying to make her life as comfortable and satisfactory as possibly and trying to communicate with her. She wasn't as angry and defiant as she was during the first few months, but she hadn't thawed much in trying to make their marriage work. The most breakthrough he had ever gotten from her were single or a few-word syllable replies to his inquiries and even then those only happened sometimes. "We can't continue living like this. I've done my best in making excuses for your absence on not attending events by my side, and putting on a facade of us having a working relationship but I'm running out of excuses and thus it won't be long before the emperor finds out that our union isn't working. I ship Canon x OC all the time, as far as them being related to a Canon, it depends on if it makes sense? As long as the relationship between the canon they are related to and the OC makes sense and doesn't bend or make the canon OOC for the OC, I'm fine with OC's being related to Canons. I have made quite a few OC's that were related to Canons myself, usually as cousins or siblings. There is also things to consider with backstory, but that is mostly for if you are interacting with the Canons your OC is related to.

Overall, I don't bite, and I enjoy shipping a lot. I take a very open minded approach to it. ^^ So feel free to hmu.
