Esme Saar, mother (deceased) - Former matriarch of the Saar clan who left her family in the Shroud to be with the man she loved. Under mysterious circumstances, however, she since passed, leaving Io with many questions about who she was and why she left her to the care of Iyrmirth.

Aro’a Erah, father - A Sharlayan researcher who married and convinced Io’s mother to return with him to his homeland. Whereabouts unknown.

Iyrmirth, mother (adopted) - An elder dragon of Ratatoskrs’ brood. Once injured during the Dragonsong War, she was found and healed by on Esme Saar and befriended the woman and her daughter. She has been tasked with watching over and guiding Io, taking over the role of her mother in many ways and teaching her the ways of dragons. Though she continues to follow her wanderlust through the skies, still mourning the loss of her own mother.

Braxis Wynterwulf, father (adopted) - An Ishgardian noble who was responsible for mentoring and teaching Io the ways a dragoon. Since then, he has officially adopted her, becoming the father figure she never had.

Beexu Spiritbreaker, sister (adopted) - A sun seeker that adopted Io shortly after the Calamity.

Leader of Wulf & Co <WULF> - Looking for a job? Need to hire a small handful of terrifying mercenaries to get the job done? Then look no further than Wulf & Company! As the current acting head of the Wulf warband, Io is always looking for strong, capable individuals willing to join the fight alongside her. She is not particularly picky in the individuals she hires and will accept almost any job without question. If money is involved, she’s in! 

Wanna fight? - No matter where she is or who it is, if the opportunity presents itself even a little bit, Io will gladly be the first to pick a fight. Wanna throw down with the dragon amongst wolves? Bring it! Got something worth stealing and want the opportunity to get it back? Io will gladly take it and revel in the chance at a rematch! Just be warned, you will NOT be leaving without a few cuts, bruises, and bite marks.

Ishgardian Nobility & Dragons - Are you an Ishgardian noble that has heard the rumors of the adopted daughter of the unruly House Wulf? Io will probably start off by hating you but she is in desperate need of training in noble etiquette. Are you a dragon in disguise? Io will instantly take an interest and offer her unspoken protection and hospitality. 

Pre-Calamity Relationships - After the fall of the most recent Calamity, the entirety of Io’s life prior to the age of 17 was completely wiped and she was left with a very serious case of amnesia that has never been addressed or rectified. Were you a child of the Shroud? Did you often train with the Lancer’s guild? Then you might have known Io prior to the Calamity! A different time and a very different girl with a mystery revolving around her current fears of entering the Black Shroud.
