So, little bit of context: I had finished reading the blog HLVRV which was made by the wonderful @year2000electronics and I had come to the realization: HLVRV is longer than Y2KVR. And yet, my attention span decided to say "Screw it" and let me sit down and read all of HLVRV and didn't let me finish Y2KVR until last Thursday. So, thank you Mothra, for causing me to question my brains logic and for making some amazing HLVRAI ask blog stories. For those curious, here's the screenshot over my little avatar:

Artfight 2024 #47: Animated HLVRAI AU Mass Attack

This took 22 hours over a span of 3 days. It has over 42 frames, 500 layers, and a total of 10 characters!

Very short intro here because im so mad my og draft got deleted.

For some basic information! I’m a minor. You can call me Felix; I’m a part of a larger system, but we don’t like to actively say who’s fronting. I won’t answer sys questions unless we’re close/talk regularly! Otherwise, don’t talk to us about stuff within/about our system. We soft block for our own comfort!

We enjoy writing, drawing, worldbuilding, creating aus, and roleplaying as hobbies! We’re trying to get better at papier mache, as well as crocheting. My dms are always open for roleplays within my fandoms that are appropriate for my age. (PLEASE RP W ME!!)

Uhhhh as mention au belongs to calamarispiderart!!! However I did take a few liberties on some things just for fun, and also I’m a biologist and i like to think about these kinds of things, oops. you dont have to use these it was just because i liked coming up with a bit of my own take

anyway!

A lot of butterflies and moths dont just drink nectar! It’s very hard to get proper nutrients (especially minerals like salt) from that alone. So it’s really common to see butterflies and moths drinking from odd places. Sap, mud puddles, feces, tears of animals, and... a favorite is blood and rotting meat. So! Fun fact.

They slurp all that up with a proboscis! So I decided to give him an extendable tongue-like proboscis hidden behind his... arguably dunkleostus-like teeth. They’re less about chewing (note, almost beaklike with very tiny back ‘molars’) and more about getting to the good stuff and self defense. 

For him to be that big, much bigger than any true moth, there’s no way he can sustain himself on mainly nectar. He’s going to need larger food sources than flowers. So his teeth are for biting chunks from trees to get to the sap beneath, for hunting and tearing meat and getting to the tasty juices inside, for cracking open soda cans. That’s why they’re shaped so oddly, they’re mainly more for grabbing and tearing than any sort of injuring or chewing food. 

As for the wings, that was just for fun! Moth wings are super interesting, and i love the idea of them looking plain and brown while folded up- but as soon as they’re extended, there’s iridescent blue and pretty eyespots underneath. I mainly took inspiration from the dot-underwing moth, Pompelon marginata moth, and Erebid moth!

anyway that is all, I love moth benny and maybe i should’ve drawn him when i was more awake and it wasnt like, 5 am. and i probably will draw him again a little nicer sometime when I’m not so busy or tired. but! Here i am. thanks for coming to my TED talk

HLVRAI VRCADE AU

ok heres some facts 

- tommy coolatta is the son of the arcade’s owner, gman (nobody knows his real name everyone calls him gman cos hes the man with the games. the games man) 

- he also has a best friend (forzen!) who he hangs with. both him and forzen work at the arcade and are video game enthusiasts 

- one day, tommy catches gordon doing his rounds as he closes up shop, and the science team has to let him in on The Secret

- gordon is an amnesiac who assumes hes just in charge of the video game hub in between arcade games! he takes care of everyone and makes sure nobody game jumps during the day 

- dr. coomer is the coach of a punch-out kinda game! hes always wanted to get in the ring himself but since his only time in the ring was in a tournament exclusive patch, hes staying in the sidelines

- bubby is a racer in a mario kart style game! hes been playing a bit too dangerous with his racing lately and wants to mod his vehicle while nobodys looking

- darnold is the mascot of a cooking game! very cute very colourful, he wants to try making his own recipes

- benrey is a glitch! (get your turbo jokes out of your system while youre at it) he has the ability to corrupt any game how he sees fit which usually renders everything useless and unplugs games 

- the plot revolves around a retro game tournament thats gonna happen in a few days! forzen wants to win it so bad bc theres Epic Prizes but hes worried he cant do it

- benrey shows up when forzen has closing, convincing him that he’ll help forzen win the tournament if he does something for HIM

- forzen wins the dirty cheat! after that he agrees to let benrey in every other game. this is bad

- now the science team and tommy have to stop benrey from fucking up the entire arcade!

- also it’s revealed gordon and benrey come from the same video game, gordon being the player one and benrey being the player two, benrey went awol because being player two sucks and he got them unplugged, gordon just barely escaped but he gets plot convenience amnesia

HLVRAI sky (children of the light) AU

Gordon:

- level 7 ( 7 wedges )

- Eden count: too many.

- super tired, only wants to collect candles man.

- Doesn't have the wildest gear. Orange cape, little floof hair, the puffy pants. Simple design

- Absolutely HATES flying in groups. It's a nightmare.

- only time he'll be in a group is if it's all moths (nickname for new players) and they need help somewhere dangerous

- so SO tired of the groups shit. Like guys please we don't need to collect the darkness there's 3 Krills around- oh my God GUYS-

Benry:

- Level 8 ( 8 wedges )

- is the reason spam cries isn't allowed. They still do it though.

- eden count: 1 ( even though they REALLY want more Eden candles, they don't like the feeling of dying. )

- because they don't do Eden a lot, they can't get the super cool gear but they have one of the blue capes, one of the fun masks and carries the horn.

- doesn't play any actual songs on the horn, they just fly over and spam high sounds before flying away.

- 100% only flies in groups during the wasteland so they can alert the Krills and then dip.

Dr.Coomer:

- level 10 ( 10 wedges )

- Eden count: 10

- Mainly seen holding hands and flying around with Bubby.

- Only sits at tables with others to spill information about the area their currently all in.

- only one in the group who actually takes the time to look at the lore art and learn from the ancestors.

- really enjoys doing the seasonal events and gets ALL the gear from them.

- His design is simple too. The green cape , one of the more simple hair styles, forest mask, and the firework staff.

Bubby:

- level 10 ( 10 wedges )

- Eden count: 11

- only seen flying around with Dr.Coomer. if you see bubby alone, run.

- LOVES to be chaotic. Spam crying to make other players think there's a team door nearby, Leading players to an area with krill and then dipping back home.

- sometimes bubby and Benry meet up to mess around and cause chaos with the younger sky children.

- design is fun! Black cape, prairie elder hair, leggings, and also carries the firework staff.

Tommy:

- level 3 ( 3 wedges )

- Eden count: n/a

- the newest member of the group!!

- loves to fly in groups!! Always following other players and helping out

- always friending strangers !!

- is the only member Gordon will group fly with

- Hasn't been to Eden yet and everyone is GLAD. they constantly send him hearts and candle run with him since they don't want him to do Eden .

- never caught by a krill !! Mainly because Gordon or benry will distract it while the other takes him to a safe place .

- constantly makes everyone fly in a group, hold everyone's hand and then take them to a really pretty place.

- design !! Yellow cape, probably the beginning hair, chibi mask, and carries the drum !!

So, the other day @year2000electronics posted an HLVRAI Ib AU pic and I kind of....got overexcited. ^^”

Here’s Eternal Stream Ib AU!

So, I suppose the premise for this AU would be Chester going to an art exhibit (like Ib in the original game) and getting stuck in the weird haunted gallery. Maybe the science team are other living art pieces that help him along on his journey. Benrey could likely play Garry's role, being another human who got stuck. Although he probably wouldn't have the memory loss in this case unless he's already died and been assimilated into the gallery See, in Ib, your health is measured by a rose you have. And if your rose dies, you die too and are trapped in the gallery forever

The main antagonist in Ib is a little girl called Mary who was a painting created by the artist whose works are displayed in the gallery. She gets attached to Ib and wants to leave with her. Which means she has to get rid of Garry (the other person who stumbled into the gallery) to do so. I think it's a whole, only the number of people who entered can leave or something like that

Forzen could still work as the antagonist

In Moth’s AU, Mary’s role is assigned to Tommy, making G-man the mysterious artist

I like G-man being the artist who caused all this shit, but I don’t want Tommy as the villain

It would be cool if Tommy was the first of the creations, the oldest in the gallery

The one who tries to keep the peace

He tries to keep the other art works from killing humans to take their places on the outside.

But he can’t be everywhere

And sometimes he fails

Forzen would probably try to convince Chester and Benrey that Tommy was the evil one

He’d probably try to convince them that the whole science team were evil

Because they know Forzen isn’t human. They know what he’s trying to do.

He’s probably tried to pull this before

He wants to be human

And Chester’s so nice!

He just wants to have a family. To see the outside world

He’s an angry teen

An angry teen with crazy powers

Chester only finds out the truth when Forzen pulls something trying to get rid of Benrey

Two entered, so only two can leave

And Forzen wants to leave with Chester

Benrey's just in the way :3

It’s probably at that point that Chester meets the Science Team properly

Tommy apologizes to Chester and explains the situation once they meet up

Forzen probably bullied Darnold into helping him again

Darnold just wants to do his paint experiments in peace

Benrey is very tired and scared and mostly covering it with jokes

Bubby and Coomer are two components of one artwork

They go together
