And probably should've focused on my education after this.

So, yeah. These are drawings for Fly from Help! I'm A Fish, a Danish-originated animated feature first released in 2000. It's largely forgotten in the mainstream, but it was big in Europe (most likely because of one of it's soundtrack, "I'm A Little Yellow Fish") and gained a cult following over the years. May do a review after my finals.

Most of the drawings of Fly are screenshot redraws, one is a redraw of a fanart by Pumpkin_Soup/ @theabbystabby from Deviantart and Tumblr, and two others are random doodles; one of which features Donatello from Rise of the TMNT for funsies. (I have an OBSESSION with Fly biting on Floppy disks for some reason,...)

20 YEARS OF HJÆLP! JEG ER EN FISK (HELP! I’M A FISH)

On October 6th, 2000, Hjælp! Jeg er en fisk, or its English title “Help! I’m A Fish”, was released thus becoming 20 years old. The film was originally released in Denmark in the Danish language, but it was dubbed in English and many other languages.

For those who don’t know what this film is about, it’s a movie about these three kids (a brother, sister, and their cousin) who meet a scientist who created a potion that could turn people into fish and an antidote that turns them back into their original forms. 

The girl drinks the potion thinking it was lemonade (or saftevand in the original Danish dub) and she gets turned into a starfish. Her brother throws her out in the ocean thinking she was a real starfish, but their cousin tries to stop him and so they have to turn into fish to find her. The professor warns them that if they don’t drink the antidote in 48 hours, they’ll become fish forever. Their parents find out that they’re missing and they have to find them before it’s too late.

The two boys manage to find their sister/cousin, but they discover that an evil fish took the antidote and used it to create a race of intelligent fish, so the children have to stop him before it’s too late.

I’ve never seen this film as a kid as I was never exposed to it. I saw it two years ago and I liked it. It really did look like a film I would watch as a kid. If you’re interested in watching that film, go ahead.

MOVIEclips - Help! I'm a Fish (full movie)

So.  I just watched a little movie by the name of Help! I'm a Fish. … … … You should, too.  Like.  Right.  Now.

I cannot recommend this movie enough!!  The music… the silky-smooth animation… the art style and direction…  It is the movie I didn't know I wanted, but now, can't imagine life without!  Gosh, I wish I'd seen this when I was younger!

"Scales of Justice" is gonna be about Lana trying to help some fish, but when I saw that little orange Lincoln look-alike fish in the title card...

for a second I thought it would be really cool if Lincoln turned into a fish, and the episode was about him trying to go back to normal.

You know, like in the movie "Help! I'm a Fish"

"Hey, check it out. We are fish! Isn't that cool?!"

Lincoln would go all like "Holy Moly! I'm a fish!!!" And the episode could've been like the movie's plot.

Because there's Lincoln

And there also would be room for Clyde

And Lily perhaps? 

Because this little starfish is the little sister of the orange protagonist fish.

And the three of them would have to survive the ocean. I'm thinking that probably Lisa turned them into fish by accident, and they have to get back home before they stay like that forever or something like that.

Yup, definitely much better than the offcial plot of Lana trying to help her fishes.

...or maybe these are the fishes Lana is trying to help, and she's actually rescuing Lincoln, Clyde and Lily!

Ok, I drop this now. I have to go to write a fanfic titled "Dang It! I'm a Fish"

By the way, I really like this movie.
