firestar literally has a fight with bluestar and leaves on his own will. there’s no prophecy, nothing. the only omens firestar gets are being sent to him by skyclan’s starclan cats, not the normal starclan cats.

darktail’s gang was a threat to all the clans, that was the whole point of that arc. 

furthermore, we’ve had rogue groups threaten the clans before. the underfed and scrawny bloodclan, which has been living on the streets all their lives and clearly state they want the forest bc theyre not eating as much as the forest cats and arent doing so hot, was enough to kill a very good chunk of cats. scourge could probably have gotten stomped on my tigerstar bc of his size, yet he was able to take all 9 lives from cat satan in a matter of seconds. before you say bloodclan had the reinforced claws, please remember dog teeth are not all that sharp and if anything would dull their claws. dog fangs only work to tear through things when there’s a jaw’s biteforce behind them.

also, brokenstar’s gaggle of rogues continued to be a threat to the clans after they were driven out. the rogues literally almost won a fight against thunderclan, and only lost because fireheart defeated tigerstar and they dipped.

as for the apprentice thing: are you serious, bruv? starclan tried to convince pinestar to kill his own son, who was still a kit, because they decided one day that kit would be the biggest danger in all of history. starclan looked at 6-moon-old kittypet rusty and went “yeah that kid’s our new jesus and he’ll save everyone”. bluestar looked at the BRAND SPANKING NEW warriors graystripe and fireheart and went “you guys are in charge of saving the entirety of windclan.” starclan looked at crowpaw to help find the new territory for the clans. starclan looked at leafpaw and decided she’d be the one to find moonpool. starclan looked at the three kits that would be firestar’s grandchildren one day in the far future, and decided they’d be more powerful than starclan themselves and would literally travel through time to save everyone, and be the reason that the clans exist today. the dark forest mostly started a cats’ training when they were apprentices. this is far from the first time apprentices or near-apprentices have been chosen to bear the weight of the clans’ future and have the power to impact it.

if skyclan is weak for going through a hardship like darktail’s takeover, that means the other clans are much weaker: thunderclan has had tigerstar terrorize them in every way possible, has had their leader snap and reject god.. i could go on, but youve read the books. shadowclan easily accepted tigerstar as leader, even with him being tailed by a gaggle of rogues that were associated with their old leader who, by the way, trained 4 moon old kits to be warriors and killed them in handfuls while shadowclan was like “lol what can you do”. riverclan literally sided with tigerstar and let their deputies and apprentices have their lives threatened, then let leopardstar continue leading without any second thought. windclan was also driven from their territory, and the only reason they were brought back and skyclan wasnt, was because windclan still had territory in the forest. and that’s only the first arc, mind you.

skyclan is not weak; they’ve survived a war against a mob of thousands of rats when they hadnt even left kittypet life for a full year. they’ve lasted through the hardships of daily clan life for all of firestar’s nine lives and then some. the only reason they weren’t brought back to the clans when firestar first found them was because there was literally no room in the forest territory. the lake territory is clearly shown to be bigger with more space. additionally, starclan knew about darktail and all the shit with skyclan- it makes sense for them to want the other clans to be near skyclan so that they can help defeat darktail. and no, the fact they wanted the other clans to help is not a sign of weakness- the clans have helped eachother out so much that firestar had to stop helping the other clans because he was starting to annoy the leaders. in the face of past great dangers, the clans have banded together to defeat that danger, and darktail’s gang is no different. it was starclan’s will to help skyclan because not even thunderclan could’ve bested this threat alone.

We need to talk about SkyClan

If StarClan really felt like SkyClan deserved to be back home with the others, then why did they only send Firestar out to reunite them and to not bring them back? He didn’t bring SkyClan back then, he just reformed the clan and made them exist again! This entails that StarClan only wanted SkyClan to reform and not come back. Meaning SkyClan doesn’t belong with the other clans. But then in A Vision of Shadows, StarClan gives Alderpaw the mission to bring them back. So were they not fine on their own? Well, they weren’t really. Dark Tail and his group took over him. This really paints SkyClan as helpless and unable to take care of themselves. The fact that a bunch of rogues lead by some guy with daddy issues took down an entire clan, means that they have no idea what they are doing. another thing that makes them out to be helpless is that StarClan sent an apprentice to rescue them! Not even a fully grown cat was good enough to get SkyClan back! If SkyClan is able to survive thus long without the help of the other clans then they shouldn’t need them, and they should be able to take care of themselves! If SkyClan goes to the lake, it should be on their own accord; not because some chump named Twigbranch was lonely!
