@necromancyofslay asked so im using this as an excuse to make a post about my rook (hope you dont mind the @ !)

Vervain Fen'an Ingellvar! He/They pronouns and a Mournwatch mage

He's a quiet yet suave academic type who's obsessed with learning, researching and inventing (NERD) so he uses his necromancy skills to revive dead scholars to ask them about their work. A perfectionist that prioritizes progress over inaction.

Prior to Veilguard, he exclusively worked alone, making the leadership thing difficult because he doesn't really know how to talk to people. Everything he knows about being a good leader comes from books on How To Manage A Company that he crammed after Varric passed the title down to him. They resented him for doing so but by ANDRASTE they'll get an A+ in leadership. So his relationships with everyone began superficial and intentionally distant but you can only resist the power of friendship for so long.

As for the rest of his deal, he was possessed by a spirit of death that saved him from dying as a kid. The unfortunate side effects include having to steal peoples life force like a vampire or else he'll start decaying. I came up with this before I played Origins so think of him as the second-coming of Wynne LMFAO .. (call him an old soul)
