I was thinking more abt my deep sea metro salmonids and mayyyyy have accidentally made a new salmonid oc who is also friends/maybe girlfriends with Sash so uhhhhh oops
#rat rambles#splat posting#oc posting#he left for the tracks of the deep sea metro to seek out more knowledge on what he was even supposed to be supporting#and he got stuck there and sanitized maybe rip bestie#while sash was looking for cuttlefish they found themself lost in the area that the new guy was in and they played cat and mouse for a bit#but eventually sash managed to get him to be more passive with them and they ended up deciding to come back for him after the other stuff#his memories got a bit fucked up by the whole ordiel so he didnt know how to go home (nor did he want to go home) so sash ended up helping#him get a temporary place that ended up less temporary than intended#the two initially had a kind of awkward relationship as sash had formed a strong attachment to him while stuck with him in the metro but#his memories of that ordiel were very fuzzy and while he did feel a similar connection neither of them actually knew eachother that well#and they didnt know how to but they eventually started talking more#and what rly tipped the balances for them was when they started addmitting some of their anxieties abt their respective societies#as soon as they found the other was receptive to their ideas and even agreed with them on things the thingd holding them back from going#all out in conversations were disregarded immediately as they both clung to the chance to finally be able to express these thoughts#and from there they were able to more so bridge the gaps in their communication#funny thing is that they actually mostly speak to eachother in octarian since thats their only mutual language#sash wasnt very fluent in it when they first met but it was enough to do the job#after the two start interacting more it gives sash a lot of extra practice and also some headaches but its ok dhdjgdjdh
