For this song I was inspired to try to use the Hirojoshi scale in a metal song so I don't keep using the classic 5-7-8 pattern everyone and their mother uses. I think it turned out pretty well! It has an acoustic intro that goes into metal.

This dark, passionate improv uses a blend of scales: Hirojoshi, Kokin-joshi, and Harmonic Minor. Playing with the distortion pulled way back on this one, and a pickup setting that I never use.
