Coder casting call!
I need someone who knows how to code for RPG Maker MV (preferably with JavaScript)!
I'd like to hire (we can work out a price together) to do the editing, coach me, or work alongside me/a team to code an RPG I'm making.
Everything is already written, music is ready, and all images have been created (a majority of the voice acting is done and edited), all I need is coding.
However, I'd like to get this finished by Halloween if possible (I know, short notice).
As an extra note, I do also have all the old coding from the original VN that this is being converted from, written in Python, if that helps at all.
Here it is on GameJolt and itchio.
Thank you!

Advantage of hiring remote web developers
Tumblr media
Lets you hire professionals worldwide at right cost
Hassle-free access to Indian workforce
Time utilization
Cost-saving through optimization resources
Higher retention rates with short, mid-term and long term assignments
There are certain clear advantages of hiring top web & mobile app developers in India, which is now a hub of all leading IT / software companies.
Flexibility
Nowadays most of the company functions as a R.O.W.E (Result Only Work Environment), but some still have a stronghold on the old fashioned only working apart from any other activities. But if you are looking to hire top talent, try to lose the traditional workplace as much as you can. The great way to pull the attention of new talent to your company is by listing your remote company's flexible work policy in its job description.
Where to look
To source remote app developers who can be right for your company, look for specialized sites that cater to your platform-specific app developers like PHP, JavaScript, .NET. Node.Js, AngularJS. I suggest Linked.in to be the best site where you can find key roles and responsibilities of app and web app developer explained properly. You can also find certification done, as well as its day to day industry update activities to judge its skills.
Setup A Web & App Team in India -
Seek out their soft skills
Education, experience and technical knowledge is a common thing found in every candidate. Instead, I'll suggest HRs' to look for soft skills i.e., time management, tech-savvy and strong communicator that is necessary to work remotely.
How tools plan a major role to define superior productivity while working remotely
Using online tools such as project management software, collaborative creation tools and more help you to feel comfortable and saves time while communicating with the expert teammates. The alternative saves you time and allows you to majorly concentrate on app development. The software schedules meetings regularly, phone calls and also a creation of work reports. It notifies regular updates on call and progress reports. The software also assigns tasks, and a deadline of it so that it will be meaningful, creative and important to you.
How to optimize the performance of remote app development team in India?
Take Interview: A remote developer is a judge based on how efficiently and timely communication and tasks are handled.
Sign Legal Agreement: Agreement such as NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and other needful as per the client requirements.
Rapid Communication Tools: Remote developers should know how to handle communication software and also project management tools to help clients to see their progress with screen sharing, add tickets, keep track of work, etc.
Define Task for Development Team: Assign a project manager to take a regular look at the project, provide reports and updated regularly.
Work Tracking Software: The software would provide a complete detailed report of the working hours, coding, and time is taken. This will both parties to have an idea on the on-going development.
Manage HR Policy: Usually, HR policy doesn't include timing, leaves, break time, etc.
Conclusion:
Remote full stack developers have a very good working relationship with various companies across India and also deal with multiple clients at any one time. Years full of professional learning, travel, personal life, and new experience provide them with involved exposure, which gives a clear way to new ideas. It has been seen that remote app programmers are more inspired, passionate and motivated about their work as flexibility plays a vital role in the working environment. Hiring a remote app developer can be a little difficult, but it is also a major step to reduce onboard expenses cost your business.

Is a Web Developer the Same as a Coder?
Tumblr media
The terms "web developer" and "coder" are often used interchangeably, but they are not exactly the same. Understanding the distinction can help clarify what skills and expertise you might need for your project. If you're looking to build a website, you might want to hire web developers who possess a comprehensive set of skills beyond just coding.
What is a Coder?
A coder, or programmer, is someone who writes code to create software programs. They use programming languages like Python, Java, C++, and others to write the instructions that computers follow to perform tasks. Coding is a fundamental skill required in various fields, including software development, data science, and automation.
What is a Web Developer?
A web developer is a specialized type of coder who focuses on creating and maintaining websites and web applications. They use languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and others to build websites. Web developers are responsible for both the look and functionality of a website, ensuring it is user-friendly and performs well across different devices and browsers.
Key Differences Between Web Developers and Coders
Specialization: While all web developers are coders, not all coders are web developers. Coders can work in various fields such as software development, game development, and more. Web developers specifically focus on web technologies and website creation.
Skill Set: Web developers need to know more than just coding. They must understand web design principles, user experience (UX), and search engine optimization (SEO). Coders, on the other hand, focus primarily on writing code to solve specific problems.
Tools and Technologies: Web developers use tools and frameworks like React, Angular, and Bootstrap for front-end development, and Node.js, Django, and Laravel for back-end development. Coders might use different tools depending on their specialization, such as integrated development environments (IDEs) and version control systems.
For example, if you need a robust online presence, it would be beneficial to hire web developers who are proficient in both front-end and back-end development. They will ensure your website is not only functional but also optimized for performance and user engagement.
The Overlapping Skills
While there are clear distinctions, there are also overlapping skills between web developers and coders:
Problem-Solving: Both roles require strong problem-solving skills to write efficient and effective code.
Attention to Detail: Precision in writing code is crucial for both web developers and coders to avoid bugs and errors.
Continuous Learning: Technology is constantly evolving, so both web developers and coders must stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.
Conclusion
In summary, while a web developer is a type of coder, the roles are not synonymous. Web developers have specialized skills tailored to building and maintaining websites, encompassing both coding and web-specific knowledge. If you need to create a website or a web application, it is advantageous to hire web developers who can provide a full range of services from coding to design and optimization. Understanding the difference between these roles can help you make better decisions for your project's needs.

Key Takeaways
With the growth of software development, artificial intelligence and data sharing, the need for proper guidelines and policies relating to cyber security has become more crucial than ever. In order to combat the cyber security challenge, the Government of Sweden introduced the NIS directive in 2018, which introduced the requirements on information security and incident reporting for providers of infrastructure that are critical to the Swedish society.
As of now, most of the threat surveillance work has been handled by the financial institutions themselves and had no centralized mechanism for the purpose. Due to the growing need for a regulatory framework, in April 2019, the government of Sweden updated its Swedish Protective Security Act, which is set to tighten requirements for the security of IT systems at critical infrastructure providers under the supervision of Finansinspektionen, including the banks and market infrastructure firms. Developments like these are proving the market with new growth opportunities and is analyzed to boost the demand for the software development market in Sweden.
Although Sweden established a national strategy for cyber and information security in 2016, yet this strategy does not provide any specific guidance on how to prevent, handle or mitigate cyber-attacks in the financial sector. According to the Combatting the Cyber Threat in Sweden 2020 report by Oliver Wyman, the publishing of a sector-specific strategy for cyber security to direct the work in the Swedish financial, is set to provide the regional market with high growth opportunities in the near future. Factors like these are creating high growth opportunities for the Sweden Software Development Industry.

Additionally, According to a report by Indiai.gov, for the years 2018 and 2019, the Swedish government allocated a sum of SEK 40 Million to increase focus on further education within Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, according to a report by Indiaai.gov, the Swedish Government research and innovation agency Vinnova, invested around SEK 3Bn each year in fostering innovation across technology, transportation, communication and labor. Developments like these are promoting and boosting the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Sweden, which is, in turn, driving the growth of the underlying software development market in Sweden.
Growing adoption of digitization in Public Administration
Sweden has one of the highest rates of internet users in the world. According to World Bank Data, in 2020, 94.5% of the Sweden population used the internet. Additionally, according to Eurostat data, 91% of the percent of the population used to the internet to interact with public authorities. Due to this high internet usage in the region, the government of Sweden is increasingly focusing on digitizing the public administration process, which is propelling the demand for the underlying software development market in the region. In January 2019 the Government established the Ministry of Infrastructure which was responsible for digitalization and facilitating seamless coordination within the Ministry with support from the unit of Digital Government. Additionally, according to the Digital Public Administration Factsheet Sweden 2020, the Government launched the Oppndata.se portal, which is set to publish open data and boost data-driven innovation in this field. Furthermore, In November 2020, changes to the justice legislation were passed through the act(2020:918) amending the Swedish Code of Judicial Procedure which is aimed to further enable and facilitate digital communication in court proceedings. Again, in March 2021, the government of Sweden started the development of Ombud, which is a Swedish national infrastructure for secure and digital management of powers of attorney and is currently under development by the Swedish Companies Registration Office, in close cooperation with the Swedish Tax Agency and the DIGG. Developments like these are some of the main factors that are driving the growth of the Sweden Software Development Market.

Sweden Software Development Market Challenges
The increasing cost of Logging and high tax brackets are restricting the growth
Since the beginning, software engineers and developers use Logs for troubleshooting issues. As a result, maintenance and storage of the logs have become quite expensive. For instance, according to a report by Forbes, logs are becoming extremely noisy and expensive to store, especially in the Martech industry, where there is a lot of quick transactions. This significantly reduces the profit margin of enterprises, thereby hampering the growth of the underlying market. Although enterprises like Logz.io are trying to address the issue, it is still prevalent as one of the major challenges that are restricting the growth of the Software development market in Sweden. Additionally, Sweden has one of the most expensive labor rates in the Europe region along with the highest tax brackets, which significantly reduces the profit margin. According to a 2021 report by the International Trade Administration (ITA), a VAT rate of 25% generally applies to the import or sale of most products in Sweden, which represents about 18% of Sweden’s GDP, is higher than the EU average of 13%. As a result, various enterprises are outsourcing their work to a different regions where a skilled workforce is available at a cheaper rate along with lower tax brackets. Factors like these are some of the major challenges that are restricting the growth of the Software development market in Sweden.

Flutter is an open-source framework for building high-quality native UIs for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. With the help of this package, Flutter developers can create robust, feature-rich, cross-platform apps using a single code base.
Flutter has significantly increased performance since the December 4, 2018, release of its first stable version. The architecture has three layers: the framework, engine, and embedder. The most recent version of the Flutter framework, 3.13, is suitable for developing desktop and web applications. Its responsive feature also makes it helpful in developing apps for any screen.
Key Flutter Features
Built upon the programming language Dart: The layer that developers work with and utilize to create Flutter applications is the Flutter framework, which is written in the Dart programming language. Furthermore, the three layers that make up the the framework layer assist in rendering widgets like Material and Cupertino and assist in customizing the look and feel of your Flutter application for each platform.
High Performance: Among all the frameworks, Flutter has a mobile SDK that offers responsive design without needing a JavaScript bridge. As a result, Flutter performs better than frameworks like React Native.
Hot Reload: Modern businesses want things done quickly and easily because they value time above anything else. The development time is significantly decreased using Flutter’s Hot Reloading functionality. It makes it easier for Flutter programmers to see code changes immediately without restarting the program. Since coders don’t have to wait to see the changes they make, it saves them plenty of time.
Customizable Widgets: Flutter is well-known for creating top-notch user interfaces, and its wide range of customizable widgets further demonstrates this dedication. These Flutter widgets comply with iOS’s Cupertino style and Android’s Material Design requirements.
Top Reasons Why Use Flutter for Mobile App Development for your next project
Why is Flutter so popular among developers? Let us look at some of the reasons that make Flutter the best choice for professionals for developing mobile applications.
1. Open-source Toolkit
Developers can browse documentation on forums and find answers to problems because Flutter is Google’s portable UI toolkit. By staying current on the most recent Flutter upgrades and adjustments, developers may contribute to the platform and keep their knowledge updated.
Flutter developers may code more quickly and effectively with all the assistance, knowledge, and guidance they need, enabling them to finish projects on schedule.
2. Cross-Platform
For new developers, creating apps for iOS, Android, and other platforms might be difficult. Flutter app developers can simultaneously write code for several platforms using the same code base. Therefore, in the end, this aids companies who want many apps for multiple platforms to save their cost and time.
3. Faster Development
Flutter is a cross-platform framework with a single codebase that saves a significant amount of time for developers. They may focus more on the essential features of the program and save a ton of time while working on the user interface. With only one click or the save file option in Flutter, you may view your UI changes in the device or simulator in less than a second. The stateful hot reload facilitates the execution of cross-platform applications.
The functions and fields of the Flutter framework enable programmers to see the results of their modifications right away. Flutter helps companies democratize and neutralize their product across several platforms by reducing development time.
4. Dart Programming
Google created the object-oriented programming language, Dart. Since its launch in 2011, it has undergone continuous transformation. Flutter built Dart with four evaluation dimensions in mind, considering the demands of developers, users, and framework writers. Two main features—a JIT-based quick development cycle and an Ahead Time compiler—are supported by the Dart compilers and runtimes. These two are critical to shape-changing ARM code for rapid startup, production deployment performance, and state-hot reloads.
Flutter constantly invests resources in enhancing Dart for use in Flutter, fostering close collaboration with the Dart community. Contributors and the Dart community are working to improve it with new releases and essential changes.
5. MVP Development
Flutter is an excellent choice for MVP (Minimum Viable Product) development because of its many advantages. Flutter apps are compatible with multiple platforms and offer a good user experience, which makes them attractive to investors. Businesses can test their business model and ideas in the real market much faster with Flutter than with native apps, and Flutter apps are highly scalable.
Flutter’s four-layer architectural pattern (Presentation Layer, Controllers Layer, Service Layer, Model Layer) gives developers the tools to build scalable, flexible, and maintainable apps. Developers can separate the app into layers to organize the code, improve testability, and increase scalability. As the Flutter app becomes more complex, developers can add new functionality by incorporating new layers into the architecture.
6. Single Codebase
Flutter’s cross-platform development technology allow developers to write a single codebase that can be deployed to multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, web, and desktop. This can significantly reduce development time and cost, and it can also make it easier to maintain and update apps.
One of the key benefits of using a single codebase is that it allows developers to focus on creating a high-quality user experience rather than worrying about platform-specific differences. Additionally, a single codebase can make it easier to scale apps as they grow in popularity.
Overall, Flutter’s cross-platform development capabilities make it a compelling choice for businesses of all sizes. By using Flutter, companies can develop and launch high-quality apps on multiple platforms quickly and efficiently.
7. Shorter Testing Time
Unlike other frameworks, Flutter allows you to quickly produce production-quality apps by offering automated testing, which removes the need for extensive manual testing during the mobile app development process. You only need to run the application once to start, saving programmers time and money.
8. A Quick Time to Market
Usually, the Flutter app development takes two to six months. The time needed for development can vary based on the project’s complexity. For instance, it can take two months to complete a simple task, four months to complete a moderately challenging Flutter application, and six months to complete complex Flutter apps.
The key to the success is found in Flutter’s valuable features, which include a single code base and easily accessible, reusable widgets and components. The best feature is the hot reload function, which removes the requirement to restart the app after a code modification.
