doodled human designs for nightmares gang!
Tumblr media
click for better quality
ggrahhb. i love them. will draw individual refs soon. promise. cross has jumped between nightmares gang and star sanses, and therefore is considered a neutral outcode in our au. so ill draw him later.
horror fws the trans community
Star sanses, neutral aus (p1), neutral aus (p2), extras
some headcanons under cut 3_^
warning there is alot of text
> nightmare (they/it)
DESI NIGHTMARE!!!! (this is blatant self projection.)
short. but they always manipulate their height when they're outside of their gang because they hate being short.
chubby because its ass is not used to actual food, and they have a really slow metabolism when it isnt negativity. and now that horrors "forcing" it to eat, they gain weight. fast.
intersex. not sure why i think this but they don't really have a sex, so. erm.
^ adding onto that their fluid in their expression. sometimes masc, sometimes fem, sometimes andro.
has those stupid ass hair curlers and uses leftovers for their tentacles
MATCHING NECKLACES WITH MY OTP AT THE CURRENT MOMENT. usually errormare or bsp. sometimes fluffynight. killermare if nihira is fronting.
also sugar daddy nightmare. its either rich as fuck or have no money at all. (this is kindve a crack hc)
> Dust (he/they)
leaning korean and thai mix for him. because i need to see more mixed characters.
wears pjs whenever he can. gets the most fucking stupid pj pants too. like hello kitty. comfort > style.
always dusty. mostly because he doesn't shower and smells like ASS, but also because they gotta live up to their name somehow.
TRANS MASC. dont care if you say its wrong. EVERYONE IS TRANS. (excluding horror and blue. allies!)
aroace spec 100%. most sanses are, but him in particular. would rather die than do any of the sappy bs. but wouldd love to have a partner. or maybe 3. wink wink.
"2 shorter than killer but gaslights killer into thinking he's taller
doesn't wear papyrus' scarf, but keeps it in his sleeve.
> Horror (he/him)
wanna hc him as native american. but i haven't exactly thought much about what in particular.
tall and bulky. after a lonnggg famine, horror developed an ED. where they stress eat until he's physically ill, or feeling less stressed.
doesn't need the bandages on his face, bur keeps them there because he hates the scar
little big bottom teeth. its something he developed due to the food conditions in HT snowdin.
as much as it happens, horror HATES having blood on him, so he wears an apron underneath his clothes and does the laundry often.
PROSTHETIC LEG!!!! it got stuck in a bear trap when he was in his old au, and alphys didnt really know what else to do. its not the best thing, but its reliable. killer likes to put stickers on it.
has a cleaver named maxine, and an axe called rex.
ace because i dont really think. yeah. gross. ew. intimacy.
> killer (he/they/it)
arabic. its almost canon at this point.
has a selection of knifes in his thigh thing if his magic backfires on them. favourite is its butterfly knife.
is legally blind. his ass CANNOT see. refuses to admit this.
acespec because like look at me. he can barely feel. i just think he'd love the idea of being in a relationship, and desperately want one. but know he cant be in one.
scars galore holy shit. is always somehow simultaneously sloppy and precise with his knifework. him and nightmare have a small rivalry to see who can get the most.
needs to have textures on his clothes. something to ground themself. like "oh shit we're dissociating." rubs pants aggressively. works for us.
transb... transverse...
also DID but this is hinted at in canon
HUh. okay wow that was alot. cres shut up about utmv for 5 seconds (IMPOSSIBLE) (I DIED AFTER 1 SECOND). anyways THANK YOU!!! i will post and draw stars and neutrals tomorrow maybe. just after some sleep because it is 2am. bye everyone 3.<

If you told me a few weeks ago I would jump on the revenge makjang bandwagon, I would think you're crazy, but alas Perfect Marriage Revenge has come out of nowhere, firing all cylinders. The teasers had actually caught my attention, episode 1 was stellar, but episode 2 has really sealed the deal for me. It kind of reminds me of Business Proposal - a 12-episode fast-paced show based on a romantic webtoon with a great OTP, a great set of supporting characters, and surprisingly well executed.
Yi Joo, the neglected and abused adoptive older daughter, transmigrates after dying a tragic death and sets herself on the path of revenge to punish those who hurt her in the past, and as the horrifying depth of her abuse gets revealed piece by piece, you just can't help but root for her to eviscerate all the snakes. It's amazing how she becomes tired of being the eternal Cinderella and turns into the "evil" sister because she has learnt that being kind and meek won't save her and that it's much more effective to fight fire with fire.
The first step of her revenge plan, you ask? Why? Stealing the man her sister desires, repaying her tit for tat. Considering, said man is loaded and deliciously hot, I totally approve of this plan. Besides, it seems he knows her much better than he lets on (or even might be halfway in love with her already). There are actually a lot of hints throughout the episode, the first one being when he blurts out her name in surprise and pauses before answering whether he knows her.

not gonna meme this shit, just calling it out as it is.
Tumblr media
Bruh, the RWBY fandom only cares about one of those five letters and you made it very obvious which one it is with the gif you posted.
Any hint to an onscreen G you dismiss as one of them is """a cop""". You erase any and all references to the B to service your L (unless you get called out by the unusual suspects, at which point you backpedal and claim Blake or Yang were B the whole time), and you would overlook the firing of a real life T when her calling out of the company meant your show's continuation could be at risk. And then the + are often ignored as well or, in the worst case, demonized.
Instead of realizing you're the ones who made the fandom toxic, you instead create a boogeyman and then paint everyone who disagrees under that name, until the only people who understand the importance of your OTP are the select few in your secluded bubble.

do you have an otp
I feel as though my user name might hint to my one true pairing but if i had to pick another beyond the obvious. I have been a very big Sophie and Keefe shipper since i had first picked up the series. They are not my number one ship as that placement is carefully occupied by CopperMare or Copper Mare which for those unaware is Stina and Dex.

Sunny Day Jack - Grand Pas de Deux
Inspiration struck me and ordered me to write all night without sleep thanks to gorgeous angsty art and talk of MC angst on a server with my pals, and they encouraged me to finish a plot bunny that I had put in my scraps for being too dark and depressing.
Let that be your warning that this a rough draft containing a lot of dark and sad themes ahead, though let’s get to the content warnings anyway.
Content warnings: This story centers around death and contains major characters dying, grieving, hospitals, sickness, loneliness, isolation, depression, dark imagery, suicidal ideation, abusive family dynamics, trauma, PTSD, codependency, and a hint of spice.
Yes, there’s some fluff in this with my OTP too. I could not resist the allure of adding comfort after such intense hurt as a story of loss and death. I am a weak marshmallow who needs my OTP to have a happy ending together even when trying to write angst, hahahaha. Just think of it a little bit of gold to put the broken pieces back together and make a new, beautifully flawed container now filled with love.
Also it's a good excuse to write about lots of comforting hugs, passionate smooches, and tender touches while emotions are running high.
This short story is based on the reincarnation storyline, as discussed in the big reincarnation headcanon post, as well as this previous post, this spicy pov story, and this reunion story with Jack and Alice’s past incarnations, Joseph and Mary.
Tumblr media
The Incident of 1984 was a tragedy that those who witnessed it could never forget it, especially if they cared at all for the fallen star of the once beloved SunnyTime Crew Show, Sunny Day Jack. Mary would always remember that day, and the man behind the makeup, the person who she loved more than life itself.
@channydraws @earthgirlaesthetic @sai-of-the-7-stars @cheriihoney @illary-kore @okamiliqueur
...
Heavy breathing and the constant piercing beeping of the heart monitor. Together they performed a somber symphony. They were the only company Mary had in the lonely hospital room while pain tore through her insides without end.
She lasted longer than the death sentence the doctor gave her back when she was a child, back when she still had someone who would hold her while she cried about her diagnosis… someone who made her feel loved.
There was no one to hold her now. Joseph was… gone. He would never hold her and whisper sweet words of love in her ear ever again. She would never feel his warmth again, the way his chest would rumble pleasantly with laughter when he told a goofy joke to lighten her spirits. He couldn’t promise her that he would be there for her no matter what, that he would help her defy her diagnosis and keep living. With him. He loved her so much. He always said that he couldn’t live without her.
Mary couldn’t live without Joseph either.
Mary slept when she could, but sleep was a peace that constantly eluded and mocked her. The waking world was only pain and loneliness. Sleep was her only escape from the painful rotting shell she was trapped inside. Sometimes she even dreamed of happier times, of a life without pain, full of love with someone whose smile was made of sunshine.
But most times the pain refused to let her escape even in sleep. It burrowed into her dreams and turned them into nightmares. Her body failed her, warping into a grotesque abomination that decayed all around her, and the man she loved more than the world died countless times before her eyes. She relived the gunshots, that shower of blood, the screams. Her subconscious sometimes made it even worse than reality, and Joseph was left desperately clinging to life, gurgling her name weakly as he choked on his own blood.
Then there were the nightmares where Joseph was trapped in hell. Mary heard his desperate pleas for her to save him, to not forget him, but she could never reach him. She couldn’t move, trapped under an inescapable weight. Chains made of pain bound her to the body that was dying all around her, where eating, or even breathing, only brought her more suffering.
A new sound - birdsong - pulled Mary from the dark spiral of her thoughts, if just enough to open her eyes. It was high pitched and grating, a piercing sound far too cheerful to the point that it was almost mocking.
Someone had opened up the window, a nurse most likely, probably in an attempt to cheer Mary up with a view of the glorious morning sky. Her family certainly hadn’t done it. Maybe they visited her when she was first brought to the hospital when her world was nothing but a blur of shock and agony, or maybe they didn’t. Maybe they already forgot about her.
Why would they come? Mary Phoenix, their failure daughter, was no longer their problem after all.
A warm breeze made the curtains sway in a playful dance, the movement beckoning her eye to the world outside that continued on as if it hadn’t ended that horrible bloodstained day. The sky was bright and blue, far too colorful for a world without Joseph. The light glared through the branches of a tree not far from her hospital room, piercing into her eyes like a million needles. Mary couldn’t see the birds that decided to intrude upon her misery, forced to squint then close her eyes to shut out the light that hurt to see, but she hoped they would go away. The high pitched tones hurt, scraping into her brain and forcing her to stay awake, forcing her to experience even more pain. She wanted them to shut up, to stop.
She wanted everything to stop.
It was already over, the world just refused to admit it. The show had ended, the performance ending in tragedy. Her role in the end was the grieving widow whose lover died on stage before the demanding crowd, leaving the curtains to close on her weeping over his still and lifeless body.
Yet the world insisted that the show continue. Just like when the children in the studio audience cried and the blood slowly pooled in a fake primary colored set, the cameras were still recording, still insisting that the show wasn’t over yet, even when the sun had been shot out of the sky.
The hospital staff were the stagehands, forcing Mary to keep playing the part of the grieving widow for an audience that no longer cared to watch her macabre dance. They expected her to perform a variation that should have been a pas de deux. She was a puppet, dancing only due to strings made of sterilized tubing filled with fluids, directed by empty words of so-called encouragement. Their fake smiles were nothing more than a comedy mask, when the only face she could wear was a tragedy.
Who was Mary dancing for?
The show was a farce, a mockery of hope for brighter days. Even if Mary somehow found the strength to move without these strings, she would only be dancing to an empty studio with no audience. They expected her to continue the performance even though no one cared to continue watching. They moved on to the next show, the next thing bright, colorful, beautiful, and alive.
No one was waiting for Mary to get better. No one would mourn her.
Mary lost Joseph before, but back then she held hope that maybe someday they could meet again. She had so many hopes, of a future where she created stories, like the ones that kept her hopes alive even in her empty room where her parents didn’t even bother to check up on her. She wanted to create vast colorful worlds like the ones she imagined whenever she closed her eyes, her only true company during those long and empty days alone. She wanted to touch other people, people like her who just wanted to believe in a world better than this one. She wanted to get better, to make friends, create a family of her own, to feel loved and appreciated.
She once hoped to live.
There was a stack of books by her bed on the nightstand beside the untouched lunch tray, a token offering of something to pass the time in an empty room with only four walls and a single window that invited in blinding sunlight and screeching birds to keep Mary company. She even recognized one of the books, a story that once brought her comfort many a long and lonely night.
Mary hadn’t bothered to open any of them. What was the point? What was there to hope for now?
The dream was dead. The show she gave up so much for was over. The leading man in her life had exited the stage for the last time. The supporting cast took their bows and left for new roles. The audience left to search for something new without a backward glance.
The producers burned the studio to the ground.
A wheezing breath escaped Mary, a bitter sound that was the ghost of a laugh. The SunnyTime Crew Show, that damn show. If she never pitched it in the first place, if she never used what few connections she managed to create to give Joseph that part, would things have ended differently?
With closed eyes, Mary was back in the audience, watching the final filming of the SunnyTime Crew Show, the final performance of Sunny Day Jack. The gunman’s accusations were cruel. She saw the way they cut right to the heart of Joseph from the pain in his face. The hatred the assailant had for Joseph Cullman was all consuming. Those dark eyes burned with a need for revenge so bright and terrible that only death could douse the flames.
Everything was gone. The show, her dreams, her future, and the only person who ever truly loved her. Only ashes remained.
Ashes, and the macabre dance of the corpse that was expected to continue to perform in a world that had already moved on without her.
It was harder for Mary to open her eyes again. The world was a blur of color, golden hues as the sun dipped down out of sight in the other half of the sky, far from sight. The tray was gone, but the books remained, untouched, but now completely unreadable.
When Mary was young, she wished for a different life, one where she was healthy and happy, one where she made countless friends and made dreams come true, one filled with all the love in the world.
There was no more love left for Mary in this world. The only hope left was that childish wish of going to another world where she would be loved.
Maybe there, Mary would find Joseph once again.
Everything went quiet. The air grew colder with the window shut and the sun gone. It was so dark, with only a single pinprick of light left in the sky.
Starlight, star bright…
The beeping of the machines around her was growing more annoying, but distant, an obnoxious final theme song punctuated by the crescendo of the chorus that came rushing in for the finale at last.
First star I see tonight…
Mary couldn’t see the stars anymore.
Oh starlight… I wish… I could see you again…
The strings that forced her to dance were being directed more violently now, but they couldn’t stop her rusted ball joints from crumbling to ash, as her decaying body unraveled at the seams.
If we… could be reborn… I hope… you love me again…
The stagehands weren’t wearing their comedy masks anymore. They moved furiously to keep the performance going, but the strings were pulling out the hooks in the limbs and caused the stuffing in her belly to spill out.
Joseph… I love you… forever…
The soundtrack wound down until all that remained was the final tone of a flatline that slowly faded away to static.
Star… light…
She woke up gasping for breath, her heart pounding against her ribcage. Adrenaline coursed through her body with desperation to live. Everything was a dark blur through a wet haze that left everything about the world indistinguishable. She didn’t know where she was, who she was. All she knew was that she needed…
“Sunshine?”
A pair of warm, strong hands gently took hold of her shoulders, grounding her. The scent of warm linen with a hint of cinnamon and something else she couldn’t readily name hit her with a wave of nostalgia, of home. With it came a longing so painful that all she could do was dive into the familiar warmth that she longed for with all of her soul.
“Alice?” Jack asked, worry furrowing his brow, as he pulled Alice closer to him, allowing her to burrow her face into his chest. Her grip on him was too tight, painfully so, but it was nothing compared to the emotions that bled from her and aching his heart into his. “Hey… it’s okay. I’m right here…”
The only reply Alice could manage was a choked sob, muffled against his chest, her body heaving with every labored breath. Tremors ran through her, as though all warmth had been stolen from her.
Jack could feel the wetness of her hot tears spilling onto his skin. It made him want to cry along with her. “Oh Alice…,” he whispered as he stroked her back in slow circles. He held her as close as he dared, unwilling to risk putting her through even more pain, even though all he wanted was to hold her so close that nothing else would ever touch her again, never hurt her again. “I’m right here, sunshine. I won’t let anything hurt you.”
The comforting words didn’t quite register, but the emotion in his voice and tender touches soothed her. His love wrapped around her like a protective blanket, sheltering Alice from the cold hell she woke up from.
It took a while for the flood of tears to slow, eventually fading to an occasional trickle between hitched breaths. Alice rested her damp cheek against Jack’s chest, listening to the strong and steady rhythm of his heartbeat mingling with his breaths, and the soothing words he spoke softly beside her ear.
“Are you feeling any better now?” Jack asked softly, as he ran gentle fingers along her damp cheek to wipe away her lingering tears.
Alice couldn’t speak, and she couldn’t bear to let Jack go in order to sign anything she wanted to say, so she simply nodded into his chest.
“That’s good,” Jack said. He bent down to press a feather soft kiss into her fair, nearly white hair. “Remember, I’ll always be here for you, Alice, no matter what. Forever.”
“For… ever…,” Alice croaked, forcing the words out through a too tight throat.
Jack shushed her gently as he placed another kiss on her crown. “It’s okay. Don’t force yourself to talk if it’s difficult for you right now. We can talk when you’re feeling better.”
Alice nodded, a sniffle escaping her despite her attempts to compose herself. She closed her damp eyes and focused on his heartbeat, that unmistakable sign of life.
Jack was alive. Her starlight was still alive, still here in her arms.
“Did you have a bad dream?” Jack asked, his voice soft and subdued.
A dream. That’s all it was. That’s all it had to be. It was only a nightmare based on all the times she had to stay overnight in the hospital as a kid, though she never spent those nights alone. She always had her mother or father there to keep her company overnight, and her siblings and friends would see her every day, sending her cards and wishing her a speedy recovery. The hospital was a terrifying place, but she never had to be there on her own.
Alice wasn’t alone.
“Don’t worry, I’m right here,” Jack said to immediately reinforce that thought. “I’ll always be with you, sunshine. Forever. I won’t ever leave you alone. Nothing in this world will ever keep us apart. I won’t let anything take you away from me either. So don’t worry, we’ll always be together, no matter what. I promise.”
His voice carried more than just a promise, there was power in it. His words were a spell that once cast could never be broken. Alice felt it just as clearly as she could the love Jack felt for her. It was endless and unconditional, an unchanging fact written into the very fabric of the universe.
Relief weakened her grip, just a little, and Alice adjusted her hold on Jack into something gentler. When she felt the small indents she made into his back with her nails, she winced a little before stroking the crescent shaped marks softly in apology.
“It’s okay,” Jack said, his voice a soothing caress against her ear. “You don’t have to worry about anything anymore.” He stroked her cheek with the back of his fingers, his touch delicate and sweet. “I’m not going anywhere. I’ll always be right here, sunshine.”
Alice turned her head, just enough to press a kiss against his knuckles. She felt him shiver a little from the action, his thumb lightly stroking along her lower lip. She kissed his thumb next before lifting her eyes as he tipped her chin upward and guided her lips towards his.
The kiss started out soft, feather light, as Jack took pains not to push things too far while Alice was in such a delicate state. To his surprise, her mouth moved against his more urgently, as if she were dying of thirst and only his kiss could save her. He didn’t need further prompting, and he eagerly followed her lead, shivering in delight as he felt her warm, wet tongue slide into his mouth, twining with his in an intimate dance.
Eventually, the two were forced to part with flushed faces while taking desperate gulps of air. Even while out of breath, Alice couldn’t bear to be apart from Jack for long, and she immediately dove back into him. The second kiss ended with them both lightheaded. Before she could go back for a third, he changed course to give them both a chance to catch their breath. His lips went to her chin before blazing a trail down along her neck, taking his time to savor the taste of her flushed skin as he set a fire within her.
“Starlight…,” Alice moaned as she tipped her head back to expose more of her neck to Jack. She shivered as his teeth grazed her sensitized skin, so gentle even as he added more pressure, just enough to leave marks behind that he could trace with his tongue. A thin, needy whimper escaped her as she noticed his hand wandering its way underneath the shirt she wore - his shirt.
Jack took a moment to worship her belly with his palm, savoring her softness, before his hand traveled higher, careful to skirt lightly over her sensitive ribcage before reaching her ample breasts. “Alice,” he breathed, his hot breath tickling her skin. “I love you so much. You’re so beautiful, so soft…”
“Joseph…”
The name was an arctic wind that froze Jack solid, his entire body going rigid.
Alice noticed instantly, and just as quickly felt a fresh spike of fear run through her. “J-Jack. Jack! Jack!”
That name wasn’t enough to undo the damage, at least not right away. As Alice continued to repeat it, her voice grew more frantic, and it shook Jack out of his shock. He readjusted his hold on her to something more secure, trying desperately to once again become the solid and dependable Sunny Day Jack that his sunshine needed in that moment.
“It…” Jack paused as his voice cracked. He took a moment to wet his lips and tried again in a slightly more even tone. “I-it’s okay, sunshine. It’s okay… It doesn’t mean anything…”
The last part slipped out under his breath, more for himself than her, but Alice still heard it all the same. She felt awful. How could she call out another name like that? “I-I’m sorry, I… the nightmare… I was… we were different… it was you, I know it was, but you weren’t called Jack and I wasn’t Mary, I mean Alice, I mean I was…” She was shaking, her breath now coming in rapid pants as her wide, red-tinged blue eyes began to water. “I was… I… I-it was just so real and… and…!”
Jack wanted to stop Alice’s rambling sooner, but he had to take a moment to compose himself, shamefully shaken by a name that shouldn’t, didn’t matter anymore. “Alice.” He cupped her cheek and tilted her head up to look at him. “It was just a dream.” He bent down closer until their noses nearly touched. “Don’t think about it anymore. Whatever happened in that dream or whatever our names were… they’re not important anymore.”
Jack had to pause for a moment to take in a deep breath that came back out more of a shudder than he would’ve liked. “W-What’s important is we’re together now. That’s all that matters.” He took her hand in his and laced their fingers together. “This, right here… This is real. We are real. The two of us in this room right now, Jack and Alice, we’re real. We’re together now.” He put on a smile, however strained it was. “I love you so much, and you love me… and nothing is ever going to tear us apart ever again. That’s all that matters. No bad dreams or anything else is going to change that.”
Alice stared deeply into Jack’s eyes, which were dark in the dim light that leaked in through the blinds from the streetlamps outside. She could see the desperation in them, how much a simple name had shaken him to his core, but not the promise he made to her.
Jack was right. Whatever that dream was, whatever feelings it gave Alice, that didn’t change the fact that he was here with her now. All the pain and loneliness Mary felt, the helplessness and crushed hope… it didn’t matter. She wasn’t dying, alone and unloved in a world that didn’t care about her. She had Jack. She had her family, her friends.
She wasn’t Mary. She was Alice.
Alice wasn’t alone. She wasn’t forgotten. She wasn’t abandoned. Her world was filled with love, and the one who loved her more than anything in this world was right there with her, right where he was supposed to be.
“Starlight,” Alice choked out, as a tear beaded at the corner of her eyes. “Jack… Jack, I love you… so, so much.”
“I love you too, Alice,” Jack said before he gently kissed her tears away. “I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
“I want to,” Alice whispered quietly. “I want to know how much you love me… so don’t ever leave me again.”
Jack paused for a moment, the word “again” lingering in his mind, dangerous and sharp. It wasn’t that name, but the dream Alice alluded to and the implications of it summoned ghosts better left buried in the past. He tried not to show her how haunted he felt, not when she needed him so badly. She needed Sunny Day Jack, the picture perfect person who could protect her from all harm.
“I won’t leave you,” Jack said, his voice low but strong. “I will never leave you, sunshine. As long as you want me here-”
“I want you!” Alice blurted out. “I’ll always want you! I want forever with you. N-no matter what, you can’t leave me…” Never again.
“I won’t,” Jack promised. “I won’t ever leave you, Alice.”
“I love you,” Alice said as she closed her eyes and leaned her forehead into his. “I’ll love you forever. Even if we’re reborn… even if we’re not Alice or Jack anymore… You’re the one I want. You’re my wish come true, starlight.” She leaned back a bit so that she could look into his eyes again.  “You make me happier than anyone or anything else in the whole world. I don’t ever want to live without you again.”
For a moment, Jack couldn’t speak, choking on his breath as he struggled to keep his emotions in check. He fought away the stinging in his eyes, but his smile came easily and bright. He crushed Alice gently against his chest and peppered her beautiful face with kisses, his heart soaring above the clouds despite the ghost of Joseph still haunting him. He couldn’t care less about that, not when his precious sunshine told him something so wonderful, something he had wished to hear for what felt like forever.
“I love you, Alice,” Jack said between kisses. “I love you so much. You have no idea how much that means to me…” He paused for a moment, his voice softening further before he went back to kissing her. “…How much you mean to me. There’s no one else I could ever love more. You’re my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy… forever and always.”
His sweet words were a soothing balm for her wounded soul, while his kisses were like little bursts of fireworks along her skin, lighting up the dark and lonely night she had been trapped in for what felt like forever. When his lips came close to hers, Alice was quick to snatch them up in a kiss so that she could show Jack just how wonderful he made her feel.
Kisses and words of love were exchanged between the pair, heartfelt and sincere. It rekindled the fire from before, starting off with a gentle glow the two of them coaxed into a roaring flame. Clothes were discarded and forgotten, as were the nightmares and ghosts of tragic lives long gone.
In that moment, the only thing that mattered was the two of them, and the love they shared. They engraved their love on one another with their hands and mouths, worshiping the bodies that carried their scarred souls. They twined themselves together in a lurid dance of  thrusting hips and primal screams. It was a beautiful pas de deux that celebrated the bond between their souls that kept them connected across lifetimes.
Alice and Jack, Mary and Joseph, sunshine and starlight… whatever names they used for one another, it didn’t change the love that they shared that overcame even death itself.

Derek caught the way the man’s eyes looked over Stiles before lingering on his ass. He waited for the clerk to place the key on the counter before he reacted.
Stiles startled at the loud noise, turning away from the pamphlets in the display box to see Derek pinning the clerk’s head against the counter. He drew in an even breath, looking between the struggling man and Derek.
Derek briefly looked at Stiles, hesitating before he saw the gleam of excitement in Stiles’ eyes and the hint of lust in his scent. “Ever look at him, or any other Omega, like that again, and I’ll slice your eyes out with my claws.” He shoved the man back, not caring of the commotion that was made as he snatched up the key from the counter.

He stares at himself in the mirror. His cheeks are faintly blotchy, flush sparsely coloring down his neck. His eyes look glassy and half-crazed. “Get it the fuck together,” he growls lowly to his reflection. “You lose everything. Get fucking used to it.”
He can’t stop thinking about it. How Derek looked at him, said his name reverently rather than disdainfully.
Stiles sits on the shower floor, shivering even though the spray is far too hot. He keeps replaying the words over and over - sometimes the person someone shows us and the person we choose to see are two different people.
For the first time, Stiles takes a moment to seriously consider that perhaps he has never known Derek Hale at all.

Some things abt monster high (2022) ships!
Draculaura x Lagoona
This ship made some sense to me after the episode w who gets voted head fearleader. They really seem to at least, connect with each other. And hinted at a bit in over bro tective. Probably my second favorite mh ship. However I believe the movie episode makes Lagoona x Gill seem like it could become canon however they have literally never interacted onscreen yet. Lagoona has two hands too so. Honorable mention to Twyla x Lagoona bc of the movie episode although as an nd person it came off more like nd solidarity. I relate Lagoona's 'chomps' to some aspects of my bpd and Twyla is of course canonically autistic. But also as a ship I think it could work, as literally nd4nd is so real.
Draculaura x Manny Taur
This is one of those one-sided rivalry turned study buddies turned ship things, I don't think I ship it a lot but it seems plausible except that Manny seems to be more a side character. The kind of ship that would probably happen irl and be relatively stable. The episode where Clawd first appears was when I felt this seemed to show up.
Draculaura x Clawd
This. Like. Tbh I feel Draculaura didn't exactly show kindness towards Clawd due to being worried about her vampirism in that ep. But the resolution of the conflict in this ep kind of made me realise that they may actually be hinting at this ship in canon(maybe a call back to older versions of mh) although I did not expect that
For what it's worth I don't really know if I see Draculaura as into any of these characters romantically. Maybe bc she always seems more focused on other things but. Also I feel that makes her come off as a character whos either into multiple people or not into anyone, also gives room for an aro or arospec interpretation but.
I feel that could be true of Clawdeen and Clawd as well, tbh those three just. Don't seem all that invested in romance or interested in others that way. I also think Twyla and Draculaura(more so movie version than show tho) and Torelei (yeah ik shes like. mean but Im apl and literally not my fault half the apl coded characters r villains or bullies) also come off as aplatonic or aplspec coded.
Frankie x Cleo
This. Probably my mh otp. Horoscare hints at this ship so much and so does that episode where they find the mummy necklace thing! The ship I think is most likely to be canon! They even show Frankie blushing and stuff like. Theres a lot of things that make it clear they're implying romance in terms of how cartoons tend to imply ships. Also one episode description for a future episode literally involves Deuce being a wingman for Frankie to ask Cleo to the monster ball!!
I think I definitely ship this in an arospec way bc Im arospec but. Quoiromantic greyromantic Frankie is such a headcanon I have and maybe Demiromantic Cleo bc. I also feel Cleo would realise her feelings after Frankie realised theirs. Although I also see Frankie having trouble interpreting their feelings towards Cleo or maybe not.
In one episode a playback of Clawdeen's monster minute is shown in which she says something about who she thinks is cute but it cuts off before any names are said (I believe it could be Deuce or Howleen. My partner and I even have a lighthearted bet on this in case it gets revealed, they guess Duece and I guess Howleen. Theres also the chance that neither and/or it is not revealed). It is to be considered that in the movie Deuce and Clawdeen do have chemistry but. I don't see that in this version at all tbh. Clawdeen doesn't seem to have romantic chemistry with anyone in the show tbh. And neither does Deuce imo
I do know that one sided Heath x Abbey is. Kind of noticeable but tbh Abbey is new to school at monster high and also I dont think its ever hinted that she feels the same about Heath although its possible she does and this ship may become canon?
Not really a ship at all for me but. Ghoulia seems like she really looks up to admires Skelly maybe in a fangirl-y way and that may be like. A celeb crush thing there and/or gender envy?

Sweet Nicknames
The volleyball court was alive with energy as you and Hinata Shouyou, the fiery sunshine of the Karasuno team, practiced tirelessly. The sound of your spikes and the cheering of your teammates filled the air, but amidst the intensity, there was a connection that blossomed between you and Hinata—one that went beyond the sport itself.
One sunny afternoon, as the two of you took a break from your rigorous training, Hinata approached you with a mischievous glint in his eyes. With a shy smile tugging at his lips, he mustered the courage to call you by a new name, a nickname that held a hint of endearment.
"Hey, (Y/N)," Hinata said, his voice filled with a newfound sweetness, "can I call you 'Sunshine'? Because you bring light to my day, just like the sun."
A blush crept across your cheeks, your heart fluttering at his words. The affectionate nickname seemed to capture the essence of your connection, a reminder of the warmth and joy that radiated between you.
Hinata's choice of nickname reflected his vibrant personality, and it filled you with a sense of adoration. The nickname became a symbol of the bond you shared, one that surpassed the boundaries of the volleyball court.
As the days went by, Hinata continued to use the nickname, his voice filled with affection and fondness whenever he called you "Sunshine." Each time he said it, it felt like a gentle caress, a reminder of the light you brought into his life.
In moments of triumph, when the team celebrated a hard-fought victory, Hinata's voice would rise above the cheers, calling out your nickname with joy and pride. The sound of it reverberated through your being, kindling a warmth that spread from the tips of your toes to the depths of your heart.
But it was in moments of vulnerability that the true power of the nickname shone through. During challenging matches or difficult times, Hinata's voice would soften as he whispered, "Don't worry, Sunshine, I believe in you."
His words became a soothing balm, erasing doubts and fears. In those moments, the nickname held a deeper meaning—it represented Hinata's unwavering belief in your abilities, his faith in your strength, and his unwavering support.
The nickname "Sunshine" became a reminder that you were cherished and valued, not just as a teammate but as a person. It served as a beacon of encouragement, lifting your spirits and fueling your determination.
And as you stood side by side with Hinata, facing challenges both on and off the court, you realized that the nickname had become an integral part of your relationship. It symbolized the trust, affection, and unwavering support that you shared—a connection that transcended the boundaries of volleyball and resonated deep within your souls.
For in the embrace of Hinata's affectionate nickname, you found a sanctuary—a place where you were reminded of the light you brought to his life, and where your bond continued to grow, nurtured by the warmth of his unwavering love and the unspoken promises it held.
a/n: considering it's one in the morning, i don't really know where i'm getting any of these ideas from. you can thank the otp prompts and my liking of extroverted characters.

FIRST OF ALL I LOVE UR LITTLE OTP SO MUCH. how they never crossed my mind baffles me bcuz that is gen such a good pair??
ANYWHO any hcs?? im so curious like yes yes tell me more about ur ot4.,.,..
ALSO ANY IDEA OF A SHIP NAME???
Hey! Sorry it took me so long to get to this. It was because my body was basically BEGGING me to take a break... I had a pounding headache and my drawing arm and hand felt heavy and sore. So to any artists out there... don't be like me. Take breaks. In fact, I'm probably not gonna be posting any art for a few days so I can give my body time to rest. Unfortunately, I inherited my father's workaholism...
ANYWAY. Glad you like it! Meet the Robinsons needed more... gay. So, I provided! When I first revisited this movie and saw all four of those characters I knew my gay ass brain was gonna do something with them. And that, it did.
The piece I did was them within the AU. Let's give the characters some brief summaries before going into detail (under the cut)... - Lewis is a nerdy finger gun bi disaster. 'Nuff said. - Goob is a jock type. - Lizzy is the goth girl, with a hint of weirdcore influences. - Franny is the choir girl. - All of them are 16.
Lewis He was the one Goob, Lizzy, and Franny had in common. Essentially, all three of them liked Lewis "in that way." The three of them had kind of silently agreed they all wanted to get with Lewis. Nevermind that Lewis was completely oblivious to all of this and deep within his own bi panic! In this AU, he attends high school like everybody else, but he does go off campus for a couple of periods for college classes. He's a star student! Not popular in the sense that he's the school hot shot, but in the sense that everybody knows him for being very kind and an overachiever. Oh, and Lewis was never given up for adoption! He lives with his birth mom and about-to-be step-dad.
Michael (Goob) He's the ACTUAL school hot shot. Star baseball player who holds the school athletics records. I'll admit, Goob was kind of my way of making Jock Paperjam from the OG NaJ AU not problematic, and like how I imagined him being. To channel the trauma and come out from it, y'know? (Heh, I even gave him his face shape...) He's the tallest of the four, and the strongest, too. Only his girlfriends and boyfriend know how sweet and loving he is. His love language is definitely physical touch and protection. I specifically imagine him holding Lewis close to his chest while laying on the couch. Goob is not a bully, I want to make that clear. He's just a little cocky.
Lizzy Ah yes, the goth girl. I expanded her special interest from ants, to bugs in general. Her favorites are still ants, obviously. I imagine she has a couple of creepy crawlies in resin sitting on top of her dresser. Like a tarantula named Nacho. She's not necessarily full goth, because in the image I drew she has purple as well. So she's more of a pastel goth, maybe nu-goth. Lizzy is definitely a teaser! Her favorite to tease is Goob, because she likes to see him get worked up. She may be small, but she's a fire cracker!
Franny Last - but certainly not least - Franny. She's in the school choir, and is overall very musically gifted. Both of her older brothers are away at college, so it's just her and her mom in the house. Within the relationship, she's the one who showers them with kisses and hugs. She's very bubbly and energetic, and she has no bad bones in her body... except when you talk shit about her boys and girl, then you better hope you're not karate chopped in the throat. I also turned up her love for frogs into a hyperfixation, hence the froggy bucket hat. You have no idea how tempted I was to buy that hat when I saw it in Hot Topic...
The ship name is really quite simple: Family.
I saw the templates in your other ask! I'm gonna keep there for a bit, and I'll fill them out when I'm not actively dying hopefully!

A through Z (minus the ones you've already answered)
A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.
My favourite ship at the moment is FengQing (Feng Xin X Mu Qing from TGCF) and I am constantly talking @astrowaffles 's ear off about them. Platonically, I'm always mentally ill about the Shiratorizawa team and how they all support each other. Family-wise, I can't get Shen Twin aus out of my head
B - A pairing–platonic, romantic or sexual–that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.
Yaku and Suga from Haikyuu, both platonic and romantic :) I think either way would be really sweet and funny
C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
Shiragoshi. I see no appeal in it for either of them and it kinda just gives me the ick
D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.
Anything with Karasuno first years that aren't the stereotypical main ships except maybe Yamahina. Idk I just feel like Tsuki x either of the volleyball idiots would go terribly and someone would end up getting hurt.
Also, Yachi is very much a lesbian to me and I'm taking that to the grave 🫡
Also, kawagata doesn't click with me. I prefer reongata, since they're both third years and at least had dialogue with each other
For a non Haikyuu pairing, I've got to say giyushino or shinogiyu - I don't know if it's hinted canon or just widely popular but I really can't care for it. I don't hate it, I just have no interest
E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?
I haven't altered the fandom with it but I made #RichPrinceFuckerVirgil a trend with my friends back in 2019
G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?
The timeline gets a bit confuddled here but my first otp was either prinxiety (Roman X Virgil from Sanders Sides) or klance (Keith X Lance from VLD)
I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?
I scoped out the Skulduggery Pleasant fandom and I'm not planning on going back (which sucks because the books are amazing)
K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?
Either Zuko, Tsukki, Mu Qing, or Ming Fan (can you tell I'm a fan of grouchy people with the ability to do good?)
L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)
As someone very neutral over Asahi, I really have to say that he is portrayed as the ace amazingly. Even though he isn't the main character and can't score all the epic points, he's still an inherently powerful force and you always trust in him when the ball goes his way, as this viewer.
M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.
Feng Xin :)
N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).
Reincarnation fics (TGCF)
Multi-chap AU fics (Haikyuu)
ObaMitsu content (KNY)
O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?
The song "Black Sheep" by Gin Wigmore reminds me of Hua Cheng/TGCF calamities :))
P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
Sendai Frogs as a forced together bounty hunting crew in a space au that becomes found family 💪
Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.
DSMP/MCYT - after Technoblade sadly passed away and then the finale was handled so clumsily, I just couldn't bother with it anymore. However, I still watch a lot of those YouTubers today, like Tommyinnit and Jack Manifold :)
R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?
Shiratorizawa Third Years for the win!!!!
@/baguantte has an AMAZING piece of fanart for all of them which I regularly return to look at :))
S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)
Shen Yuan was chronically ill before he transmigrated and he died not just due to choking but because a seizure happened during his rage-eating. We know he's an unreliable narrator, hence why he never mentions this - he hated being ill and felt ashamed by it, so he never wants to think about it now he's no longer sick.
A prompt for this could be Shen Qingqui gets wife plotted and the consequence is far too similar to how he lived his old life that he keeps nearly breaking over it. Could lead to an identity reveal or just some good ol' hurt/comfort
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
Yamagata has clinical depression. Idrk where this came from but it's something I very much stand by and have lots of interlocking ideas with so, yeah, no one is changing my mind on that.
U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.
Mu Qing (TGCF/Heaven Official's Blessing) - he's my favourite because of his complicated character. He says negative things, the rumours about him is how he is cold and unkind, yet we see his actions and behaviour portrayed very differently. He's a truly complicated guy.
Goshiki Tsutomu (Haikyuu) - I've written an essay on him which I now cannot find??? I'll have to fish it out but basically he's a really well written character whom performs so hard despite the anxiety he's visibly under being in such an infamous team
Shen Yuan (SVSSS/Scum Villain's Self Saving System) - he's a nerd who died and is now a hot guy but has the nerve to complain about it, he's just like me and I love that.
V - Which character do you relate to the most?
It sounds dramatic and emo as fuck, but Mu Qing. I just get him on a very deep level.
W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.
Major Character Death or just Character Death in general - I always find it very cheap or unfulfilling. To get me on board with Major Character Death takes a LOT
X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.
The Girlboss X Malewife ship - I don't mind the genders, I don't care for dynamics... if that ship is in there, it's likely to be my favourite!! See FengQing and KyouHaba for reference lol
Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
Bnha, Bungo Stray Dogs and a bit of Mob Psycho
Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)
AHHHHH OKAY UHHH I accidentally got my mother into not just Haikyuu and Demon Slayer but also TGCF?? We've been watching The Untamed together too - she really wants me to read her manga series Boys Over Flowers and I've been meaning to haha

Here’s a blast from the past….
This book is quite old. It’s a tie-in to a TV show that no longer exists. A soap opera, to be specific. The show, perhaps unsurprising, was called Guiding Light; it aired for over fifty years, first on radio and then on television, amd since it had a brief crossover with Marvel Comics once, it was at one point technically said to be the longest-running story ever. And for much of my life, that was my show, y’all.
My grandmother and I watched two soaps when I was little: Days of Our Lives, and Guiding Light. I referred to the former as “Doc” (the pet name one character had for his Most Frequent Wife) and the latter as “Reva” (one of the more prominent characters on Guiding Light). I don’t recall much about GL from those early years, though; my main soap opera memories are of Days, and some bizarre storyline where Stefano DiMera had Marlena Evans in a cage and was somehow decapitating people left and right with a guillotine? And at one point, everyone assumed that John Black, Marlena’s Most Frequent Husband, was among the dead, except he came back - Days was always bad, even by soap opera standards, for bringing people back from the dead inexplicably; in the old days, I think, based on how everyone called Stefano “the Phoenix,” that they also had a sense of humor about this tendency. It was a later storyline - they killed half the town and said Marlena had become a serial killer and then, after she got shot by police I think, they then proceeded to resurrect her and everyone she’d supposedly killed on an island or something? I may be a little vague on the details, but I recall everyone agreeing it had been in seriously bad taste to apparently kill off the very elderly character Alice Horton and then resurrect her, since killing off a character that elderly is normally done as part of a respectful send-off after the actor dies in real life - involving similarly bizarre antics which ultimately made me abandon the show, though that could be because they had lost their sense of humor or maybe my standards, however fractionally, had increased. Now, I remember fondly other Days storylines - the whole Hope Brady/Princess Gina thing, “Gina” and John being mind-controlled secret agents due to some plot of Stefano’s at one point, everything to do with Cassie and Rex, Bo Brady coming back from the dead, having secretly been a secret agent all that time or something, just to almost immediately die again, etc. - and wonder if I’d have had no patience for them later, but I can’t say for sure. All I can say for sure is that by the time I hit middle school, Nan still watched both shows, but I only tuned into Days for special occasions. Guiding Light, however, was a daily ritual.
In middle school, I finished my day at 3:30, and was picked up from school by Nan. Before she left the house each day, she set the VCR to record Guiding Light, which came on at 3pm. We’d get home about 3:45, and by the time I ate something and got out of my school clothes, the episode would be done recording. And so, me and Nan would lay in the bedroom, fast-forwarding through the commercials, from 4:00 to just past 4:30, watching the show. This continued while I was in high school - even though I had crushing amounts of homework and frequently watched the tapes through eyes twisted almost shut because I was having migraines from stress multiple days per week - and to an extent when I was in college. When GL was cancelled, I skipped class for the first time in my life to watch the grand finale live even though it was also being taped, and I cried through the whole thing, even the less sad bits (mostly I recall the episode as sad, though I recall smiling through the tears at the hint, in the closing montage, that my OTP might have gotten back together, when we briefly saw them together in Europe). It felt like like a death in the family.
I didn’t entirely give up the soap opera habit, but it wasn’t the same after that. I recall I briefly tried to get into As The World Turns before it got cancelled. I attempted to make a return to Days, though that didn’t last long before I deemed some plot too stupid to watch anymore and went back to only tuning in on special occasions. I actually managed to get through several years of The Young and the Restless before I accidentally formed my second-ever OTP and got disgusted with the whole show after they unexpectedly broke it up - I still see bits and pieces, as Nan still watches it, but I largely wrote it off out of dislike for the character who ended up with half of OTP. And that takes me back to: what was it about GL that was so special?
It had stupid plots sometimes, goodness knows. There was the whole Reva cloning debacle, for instance. I ended up accepting Jeffrey O’Neill, but rolled my eyes copiously at a) the idea that he wasn’t actually Richard Winslow back from the dead and b) the eventual explanation for why no, this one time, he really wasn’t his old character back from the dead. I intensely disliked a pairing and a few characters in later seasons, and let’s not even discuss that time with the terrible Reva-cancer storyline - there seems to have been something about Reva and medical storylines, because the cloning debacle and the absurd cancer plot were the things that pushed me closest to giving up on the show. I never quite did, though, and while I will agree that GL’s second tie-in book was a pile of hot rubbish, I…actually rather liked Lorelei’s Diary up there. I googled it just now, and am rather disappointed to see Beth Chamberlin seems to have given up writing afterward; if she’d written anything else, I think I would have given it a shot.
I first read this book in eighth grade, and I read it over and over and over again over the years. I haven’t reread it in years (until this morning, anyway, lol), but it remains one of the books I would take with me if I decided it was time to abruptly leave the country (yes, there’s a list - what, from my 1700-book collection, I couldn’t leave behind if I had to start a new life on a new continent). It’s…special to me, somehow. Is it Great Literature? No. But it’s special to me, somehow.
Anyway, nice little trip down memory lane there.

Chronostasis???
Kurono Hari! Chances are this is gonna be another long one, just like Chisaki.
How I feel about this character:
Hmm, god, how do I answer this? I definitely feel something about him, but it's hard to pinpoint what. Usually I think about him in relation to Chisaki (because Chisaki is the one I focus on) but he's got a solid amount of independent lore/character building to him, so he's definitely interesting. I also definitely think that he, like pretty much all of the Hassaikai, got cheated in terms of characterization. He, like the rest of the Hassaikai, has so much potential, but apparently the show decided it didn't care about that. Ugh.
All the people I ship "romantically" with this character:
Just like Chisaki, I hc Kurono as aromantic, so the same disclaimers apply: the ships I have for him might be close to romance, but most often they aren't really romance. (Even if I do enjoy explicitly romantic versions of some of those ships.)
Chisaki: My main for him (and for Chisaki). Any OT3s involving Kurono are going to also involve Chisaki (and vice versa). I talked about this a lot in the Chisaki post, but there's some more thoughts I have on this: I think that Kurono is extremely protective of Chisaki, possibly to the point of unhealthy possessiveness; this is very much mutual. I usually set it up so that they've been together so long it's hard for them to even imagine being with anyone else without the other there.
Dabi: This one is a little bit complicated. I talked about it a little bit in the Chisaki post, but I can also see Dabi attempting to seduce Kurono away from the Hassaikai, assuming that he's pining after Chisaki/Chisaki isn't paying attention to him, and Kurono (who is already in a long-term relationship with Chisaki) deciding to have a little fun with it, with Chisaki's blessing. Dabi would have no idea what hit him.
My non-romantic OTP for this character:
Actually, an OC of mine (that I haven't yet talked about with pretty much anyone) named Quill (current 'legal' name: Yamarashi Mikan). My backstory for Kurono involves his house burning down when he's five and him living in an orphanage for much of his early life, and Quill was his best friend during those years. Once he joined the Hassaikai, she ended up running away and establishing a lesbian biker gang somewhere a good distance away from the Hassaikai base. Her name is Quill because that was the first thing that came to mind--she has a mutation quirk that makes her hair like porcupine/hedgehog spikes instead of actual hair, as well as affecting her skin (darker, likely with lighter patterns or vitiligo--I need to look up porcupine skin coloration). She and Kurono bonded over having weird hair.
I also, in some AUs, like the idea of him and Hatsume meeting--I hc Kurono as being very good at mechanics and having built most of the stuff in Chisaki's lab. Two mildly insane mechanical geniuses meeting--the world isn't ready for it.
My unpopular opinion about this character:
He's a trans man AND he's a top. Enough of these stereotypes. (Also, he got bottom surgery, because bottom surgery is a thing and I think fanfic writers forget that.)
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:
Him getting more than two scenes. And also an actual solid backstory. And characterization beyond 'loyal to Chisaki' and 'can go cold/emotionless during battle.' We got hints that he and Chisaki were childhood friends, we got hints that Chisaki values him enough to not even snap at him when he says something Chisaki doesn't like, but in canon (at least in the show) we know basically zero about him. He should logically be a much more important character during the Hassaikai arc than he is, being the second/confidant of the main villain, but we still get practically nothing.
Send me a character and I'll break their ass down

Character ask: Mulan (Disney)
Tagged by @artemideaddams.
Original animated film only – I haven't even seen Mulan II or the live-action remake.
Favorite thing about them: How to choose just one thing? She's one of Disney's greatest heroines. So relatable and funny yet poignant in her initial bumbling and her failure to conform to her society's expectations, yet so clever and resourceful from the start, and so incredibly brave and selfless as she risks death both in battle and by execution in becoming a soldier to save her father's life. She's a great warrior, yet achieves more with her brain than with physical fighting skills, and far from needing to act like a man to become a hero (the message which some ignorant people accuse the film of sending), she saves China by being her true non-conforming self, combining "masculinity" with "femininity," and outwitting the villains with her outside-the-box thinking. Her journey of self-actualization is empowering in so many ways.
Least favorite thing about them: Her flaws are almost too relatable. Especially when people write about the movie and point out how her initial failures both at the matchmaker's and in the army are more her own fault than anyone else's: "Her main problem is that she lacks discipline, which her army training corrects." When they point that out, the messages I feel tempted to take away are (a) that people who are awkward and disorganized and who fail to conform just aren't trying hard enough, and (b) that to cure myself of those flaws, I should be as hard on myself as Shang is on his trainees. I don't think the filmmakers intended those messages, though.
Three things I have in common with them:
*I tend to be disorganized and bad at time management.
*I'm neither a total tomboy nor especially girly.
*I love my family.
Three things I don't have in common with them:
*I've never been a soldier.
*I've never disguised myself as a man (except when I sometimes played male roles in my childhood acting group).
*I'm not Chinese.
Favorite line:
When she first meets Mushu:
"My ancestors sent a little lizard to help me?"
When Shang asks her name when she's in disguise:
"Uhhh... I've got a name... and it's a boys' name too."
When she's been left behind in the mountains:
"Maybe I didn't go for my father. Maybe what I really wanted was to prove I could do things right, so when I looked in the mirror, I'd see someone worthwhile. But I was wrong. I see nothing."
When Shang dismisses her:
"You said you'd trust Ping. Why is Mulan any different?"
When Shan Yu accuses Shang of taking away his victory:
"No, I did!"
brOTP: Mushu, Yao, Ling, Chien-Po, and her family, especially her father.
OTP: Shang, though I'm glad it's only hinted at in the end – they need more time to get to know each other outside of the army.
nOTP: Her father, the Emperor, or Shan Yu.
Random headcanon: She has ADHD. That would explain so much about her.
Unpopular opinion: Both "Mulan Is Not Like Other Girls" and "Mulan Is Just Like Other Girls" are flawed perspectives. Fans who view her a completely masculine warrior who hates anything girly are wrong, but so are fans who argue against that idea by claiming that she's actually very feminine and likes fancy dress and being ladylike. Really, I'd say that her core personality is gender neutral. It's true that she tries to fit the mold of a traditional Chinese lady for her family's sake, and that fact does make her more interesting than if she had been yet another rebellious heroine. But it's not just nervousness or lack of discipline that make her fail. She genuinely doesn't like it (just look at her face when she sees herself dolled up for the matchmaker in the mirror) and knows it isn't her true self. In the end, it's by being her true self and combining both "masculine" and "feminine" methods – and above all, non-gendered cunning and creative thinking – that she defeats Shan Yu. This is exemplified when she uses a ladies' fan to block his sword, and then uses kung fu and swordplay to pin him to the roof so Mushu can blast him to death with a rocket.

Tag game, Stranger things edition
@hargrove-mayfields tagged me so you know I have to do this. Thank you so much!!
Ride or die ship: Hollogrove. Heather and Billy are my bread and butter. Like so much of my stranger things content is them. I just love them healing and growing together.
Most annoying ship: St*ncy. I just hate it. What Nancy did to Steve was kind of something you can’t return from. I have seen the effects of a similar relationship on one of my irl besties and I would never wish it on anyone. I would cry if that ship happened in S5.
3. Second favourite ship: Either Elumax (platonic Elucas) or Eddie x Chrissy x Steve x Jonathan (with Jonathan, Eddie and Steve dating Argyle and Chrissy dating Robin. If someone has a ship name please suggest in the comments). I adore these ships as the developed relationships there are just *chef’s kiss* but the people who haven’t met? Just so much cute potential for love!
4. Favourite platonic dynamic: Stobin is my platonic tea. I adore Steve and Robin and believe whole heartedly that they are disabled besties. Platonic soulmates.
5. Underrated ship: Hollogrove obviously but Cunningway, Cheerscoops, Photocheer, Stargyle, and Murrlexi. Those ships are also so top tier but underrated. There are so many more.
6. Overrated ship: M*leven. Again I hate it. It is so teenage abuse romanticized. And too many people think that it is healthy or OTP. To be honest, Mike is a bit of an ick for me anyway.
7. One thing to change in canon: Destroy any hints or hopes of St*ncy or M*leven or any abusive relationship. Stop the characters putting up with it, to the extent that it is romanticized. Abuse is not good or something to be idealized. And actually include canon disabilities please.
8. One thing canon did right: Making Robin a lesbian and allowing Max and Eleven to have a strong friendship which is not focused on the boys. That trope is so overused so I am glad it was not used.
9. A thing I am proud of creating for the fandom: I am really proud of my Hollogrove stuff because there is so little content for my babies. But some of my work for @disabledbillyandsteveweek is also something I am super proud of and I can’t wait to show people.
10. A character who is perfect to me: Heather Holloway is my queen. Like she is so sweet and caring but obviously has so much depth potential. The Duffers really made a mistake not giving her more screen time. They could have done so much.
11. Most relatable character and why: Robin is the most relatable character for me. Her social awkwardness and passion for certain topics is really relatable to me. We are both band kids, lesbians and we even look fairly alike!
12. Character I hate most and why: Karen. Moral trash who willing flirted and tried to seduce a child her daughters age. She also put down other teenagers simply because she was being petty??? Like she is the adult in this situation. Even though she backed out of meeting Billy, the fact that she ever flirted with him is creepy. If you reversed the genders, the fandom would be freaking out and be like it’s so creepy!! It’s still the same situation?? Of course, it is creepy. Neil Hargrove is a close second.
13. Something I have learned from the fandom: To be more confident in sharing my opinions and work. Before I met a lovely group of people in the fandom I was so scared of being attacked for my preferences in the fandom but they showed me that despite us all not shipping or producing the same thing, we can all still support and respect each other. It really helped my social anxiety around sharing stuff, particularly for this fandom, online.
14. Three tags I seek out on ao3: I don’t actually read much stranger things on ao3 but Hollogrove, Hellcheer, and fantasy au’s are probably my top three for the fandom. I really want to see more fantasy au’s that aren’t just werewolves or vampires. I might actually write one now.
15: A song I strongly associate with otp and/or my favourite character: Pretty Brown Eyes by Cody Simpson for Hollogrove for a YouTube edit I saw. Love that song for them. Love Story by Taylor Swift is a close second.
I’m tagging @stranger-themes-blog, @carito-dorito , @mrsblackruby , @iloveyoubillyhargrove. Please don’t feel obligated to do this but I thought that I would share this with other stranger things fans.

Note
we all need a little tenderness…
mouseymightymarvellous:
feeling absolutely wild about the tenderness of kisses:
the classic chaste kiss to the back of the hand
kissing a bandaged wound or an old scar
for your choice of OTP
I am so sorry it took so long to answer this! I didn't forget it though, it just had to simmer a bit before it managed to get written down! It was a lot of fun. Thank you so much!
This prompt screamed Aeony and Arcann to me, so without further ado...
INTERRUPTIONS By Shynmighty
The Eternal Alliance was having the Eternal Meeting. Or at least, that’s what it felt like to Arcann. Time had lost all meaning when he realized he’d lost count of how many comments had been offered on… what were they even discussing? Patrol routes. Right.
Beside him, Senya gently laid her hand on his, and he realized he had been tapping his fingers anxiously on the surface of the conference table. Glancing to the side, he met her reproachful gaze. He stilled with a small, apologetic grimace, and she withdrew.
He chanced a look towards his left, to the head of the room. The Commander was remarking on strategies to boost the efficiency of patrols in the Outer Rim.
He remembered why he had been carefully avoiding looking in her direction. Boredom instantly transformed into something exciting and chaotic. The light in the room was suddenly warmer and brighter. Patrol efficiency was the most fascinating subject in the galaxy. It was a feeling he had become accustomed to when he looked at her.
As though sensing his attention, the Commander’s bright brown eyes flicked to his. Her speech faltered for the barest fleeting moment, one that only Arcann seemed to notice. She recovered quickly and focused instead on something across from her. All that remained was the hint of a smile at the corner of her mouth.
It was subtler than the smile he had seen last night amid the tangle of limbs and final discarding of uncertainty. A night of promises and affirmation and ecstasy unlike anything he had ever known.
A part of him disguised as rational thought still tried to convince him that he had imagined the whole thing. That he had conjured those vivid memories to cope with the unrequited feelings he had borne inside since the moment he had first laid eyes on her.
Except it was real – all of it. And the lingering smile on his lover’s face was all the proof he needed.
“All right, I think that about wraps things up,” Lana’s voice cut through his thoughts like blaring klaxon.
The meeting adjourned with a rustle of footsteps and murmured conversation as occupants filed out of the conference room. Arcann remained still, and barely noticed Senya step around him to make her exit, turning with a raised brow to ask if he was coming.
“I’ll catch up with you,” He said.
Senya did not pry. She simply nodded and followed the others out the door. Soon, only the Commander remained at the head of the conference table.
The emptiness between them felt charged and active as she met his gaze and allowed the small smile from before to broaden when he stepped closer. It felt like a short eternity before he was standing in front her.
“Aeony,” Her name escaped him with barely concealed reverence. There was so much he still wanted to say. “I…”
The door hissed open again. Lana leaned through, addressing the Commander.
“The emissary from the Chiss is here, Commander.”
Aeony nodded, but there was an uncharacteristic tightness around her eyes. She was adept at controlling her emotions, nonetheless Arcann could feel a flicker of disappointment in her before she sighed and turned back to him, biting her lower lip.
“Will I see you later?” She asked. Her voice was quiet. A conspiratorial whisper meant only for him.
Arcann glanced quickly at the door. Lana had turned her back and was consulting a datapad. Throwing a degree of caution to the wind, he reached for Aeony’s hand and drew it to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to her knuckles.
“Count on it,” He whispered back, releasing her before Lana turned back around. A rare smile found its way to his face as he passed Lana on his way out of the conference room.
