Hino-san no Baka

I feel very conflicted about this one. Whether the main ‘gimmick’ of the manga comes across as playful teasing or harassment is dependent on the reader’s taste and the events of each chapter. Personally, I find it mostly cute and fun, but there are definitely moments that are questionable, so it never quite escapes a lingering uncomfortableness. The progression of Koguma and Hino’s relationship and the more ‘wholesome’ or ‘genuine’ moments are really quite nice. However, these moments often get a bit undercut with Hino’s usual antics. I wish it was better.
