जाम जो भरा शराब से, तेरी तस्वीर नजर आयी। तोड़ी जो बोटल, टुकडो में तस्वीर नजर आयी। जब जोड़ने लगे हम उन टुकडो को नशे में मेरे खून से भरी तेरी मांग मुझे नजर आयी।

सवाल आप हैं अगर तो #जवाब हम भी हैं, आप ईंट तो पत्थर #जनाब हम भी हैं।

मैं कभी #सिगरेट पीता नहीं मगर हर #आने वाले से पूछ लेता हूं कि माचिस है? बहुत कुछ है जिसे मै #फूंक #देना चाहता हूं।

दिल क्या मिलाओगे कि हमें हो गया यक़ीं, तुम से तो ख़ाक में भी मिलाया न जाएगा।

अब तक मगर है बाकी, नाम-ओ-निशां हमारा,

कुछ बात है की हस्ती, मिटती नहीं हमारी

सदियों रहा है दुश्मन, दौर-ए-जहाँ हमारा

In the frame is Ustad Farid Ayaz and Abu Mohammad belting out this loving complaint to the beloved, sung with great panache and yet delicately performed as a bhajan.

I have not come across another qawwaali for Krishna or any other Hindu God ,save this one.

Qawwali as a form is almost always sung for the divine मुर्शिद.

The raag is Tilak Kamod and the mood is Sufi
