Like, imagine picking him up and just carrying him around places in the house like a stuffed animal and just setting him down when you need to do things. You could pick him up bridal style and watch him get all flustered about it; maybe he pretends to get all annoyed about it when really he’s squealing on the inside, or maybe he squeals on the outside and gets all anime-girl about it because it reminds him of his favorite anime. Depends on the circumstance, I imagine.

You could also give him piggyback rides or something, where he wraps his arms around you and has you take him places. I imagine he’d like these sorts of things a lot, he likes to feel tall. After like half an hour of him just steering you around and being all smug and feeling all powerful, I imagine he just hums contentedly, a little tired as he buries his face in your hair or just resting his head on yours. He steers you back to the couch, practically demanding cuddles with a slight pout.

I could also see him wanting to pick you up as well. There is a good chance of him just absolutely failing to pick you up, which I find deeply entertaining and endearing; like, he’s so smug and confident that he could, even attempting to tease you with the concept whenever you go to pick him up or cuddle him, but when he tries, he just strains and struggles for a while and then eventually pulls a muscle and falls over. He gets all sad about it, but you give him cuddles and love until he cheers up and returns to his adorable smug jerk self.

But suppose he could pick you up. He’d definitely default to bridal style, cause he could look you in the eyes as he pulls you close… his main goal is almost certainly to fluster you, after all. He would be so proud of himself for managing to succeed at this, but on the outside, he’s super nonchalant about it, like, “Oh, please, this is nothing to me, to me you’re light as a feather.” As he’s saying this, he’s practically buckling under the weight of a full human in his arms… you should properly make him put you down now, actually; those arms he’s carrying you in are meant for committing tax evasion, not weightlifting.

Either way, I imagine it’d be an absolute great time. I need the goose man.

quirks & hobbies

i’ve mentioned this a few times but aside from shopping, hya’s biggest hobby is reading, particularly fiction—though he will read anything. despite this love of it he’s quite critical and cynical when he reads—he appreciates a well crafted story beyond anything else. something he and amon end up doing when they are wed is they’ll have times where they lounge together in the library and read the same book together and talk about it. in a modern au he’d probably be a literary critic alongside all of his fashion escapades.

old age & aging

aside from being something he hates to think about LMAO hya’s hair never goes full gray as he gets older. at most it’s always salt and pepper, and he waffles between wanting to dye it (bc he’s vain) and wanting to leave it as is (because he’s proud). he ends up leaving it as is when amon expresses his adoration of it and by that point in their lives he’d Slightly be able to admit that he cares more about amon’s opinion than anyone else’s.

cooking & food

hya can’t cook for shit cuz he never learned how to and he finds it annoying, and in general he’s not like a huge foodie. he expects only the best of good food, obviously, but he’s also not someone who’s entire existence revolves around trying new cuisine and dishes. he’s perfectly content with something simple done extremely well than trying to try everything in the world done poorly.
