PUERTO VALLARTA - MEXICO

Back in October 2017 , I went in a little “road-trip” in the Nayarit Riveria in Mexico; with one of my friend , Alexis.

The trip first started in Puerto Vallarta. Let me tell you : I’m in looove with this place and I can’t wait to go back there. This place is so natural and beautiful. I booked two nights in the cutest hotel-boutique ever; call “Hotel Boutique Riviera del Rio” . The decoration was very well worked, mixing “baroque” and modern style. With its light pink facade, this hotel gave me some Italian vibes 🇮🇹.

We rent a little boat the for the day and started visiting different beaches along the coast. One of our favorites beaches were : Yelepa Playa, Colomitos Playa and La Amitas Playa. When you arrived in Las Amitas Playa; please go on the very left side of the beach and you will find the most beautiful and virgin beach in the world called Playa Cabarellos . We were literally the only two people on this beach … Until we met Jesus and his little poney Juanita.

The second stop of our trip was in Punta de Mita. For me, Punta de Mita rhymes with Kim Kardashian West. Far from the luxurious hotels & villas, we went to Isla Marietas, a beautiful nacional parc. The access will be a hell but I swear its worth it! So far , it’s one of the most magical and peaceful place I explored. I dicided to called it my “happy place”. These beautiful photos were taken with Alexis ‘s Go-Pro . I love them. Punta de Mita is also one of the best spot for surfing. Alexis was super excited. I didn’t catch all his best moves, but this you see that sunset ?

Then, we stop by Cruz de Huanacaxtle. This stop was subject of disagreement and dispute between Alexis and I but I beg to spent on night in the Grand Sirenis Matlali HillsResort and Spa Hotel. And you know what; he thank me later, because we both needed a break. This 5* hotel offers the best all incluse service. In the middle of nowhere , our morning view was reflecting the ocean, the jungle and the beautiful pool. They have the best pools hands down. A well needed and deserved break.

Our last stop was in a Pueblo Magico (Magic Town) called Sayulita ; and yes this place is magical. Its reminds me Tulum : goods vibes; cutest little places, best food’s spots, hippies and beautiful people. This place is a most see. It was the perfect place to end our vacation. We went to a tour in a Polaris 4X4 and it was one of the funniest and craziest moment in my life. Alexis and I were arguing on who was the best driver, and I was winning … Until I crash the Polaris. Yes you heard it well !

One of my best vacation. Alexis; if you read this, thank you for being a part of it. I can’t wait to go back on vacation with you.
