Memories from 2015. I was talking to someone the other day about this very photo and the story around it. I was wAlking the Lavender Federation Trail (story here https://walkingtwobytwo.com/about/lavender-federation-trail-my-personal-story/) and as I passed this incredible canola field it just laminated with the sun behind me and the dark clouds that were growing in the distance. I site I had to stop and take a picture of. At that moment out of nowhere the wind picked up, temperature dropped and a storm hit with hail, lightning and thunder. All happened in under a minute. I remember hearing later on the radio that it was a freak storm that swept through South Australia at the time. Scary but amazing I got to experience this. “The Wizard.” 📙 Yesterday while hiking with my little brother I had a very silly/dorky conversation about what fantasy classes our family would be. Then a dnd-esque interpretation of what we saw on our hike (oddly enough I haven’t actually played it but I have written some fantasy themed pieces in my life so there’s that). Our conversation ended up triggering my older brother who was just trying to enjoy nature without nerdy commentary 🙃 Later I was inspired to make a bunch of fantasy “class” concept sketches. Metanoia~ There are people said "some walk you have to take alone", There are people said "you need take a high place to see where you belong", There are people also said "the greatest part of trip isn't arriving at your destination. It's all the wild stuff that happens along the way". They're have different words to explain what's in their minds, but have same (almost) means behind it. I can say "metanoia".
