hiii hii, Spencer Reid diff agenda has overtaken my brain. This man plagues my mind guys…Anywayyy, what would spencer name his kids??? :)

this is something i think about a LOT because i am unfortunately a hater and i have seen some. interesting names for spencer’s children in fics. he wouldn’t do any tragedeigh stuff so there’s no mckinzleigh or anything. i also don’t really think he’d name his kids like gideon morgan reid like sorry i just don’t see it!!!!

my main category for spencer’s kids names is literary figures/characters like i’ve named his kids eleanor from the haunting of hill house by shirley jackson and i’ve done lucie from a tale of two cities by charles dickens more recently i’ve been thinking about madeleine which is more of a reach but it’s based on the cognitive realism and memory of marcel proust’s madeleine episode but i think that’s just enough of a reach to be feasible for spencer reid

which brings me to another category which is longer names that have shorter nicknames!! madeleine to maddie or liliana to lily or edith to edie or sophia to sophie/soph!!!!!

two smaller categories that fit in there are nature related names (not like moss or oakley but see “lily” above) and old timey names that you don’t see as often (see “edith” above)

ok so first of all, one. honestly solid number. not my favorite and i probably wouldnt choose it a whole lot but like it’s cool. i think to me it just feels too simple, like and?

two. look i guess two is… fine. honestly i’m always partial to odd numbers so it was never gonna be to high on my list. kinda has the same thing as one but just like also too like clean and perfect

and now for my favorite number: three. best vibes. it’s used everywhere, it’s like naturally a perfect number. it’s still simple but it has a personality ya know. it’s easy. 1000/10

ok so i think i like four. it’s better than two. honestly sick number. not much to say about it i guess. good solid round number. shout out to rectangles

nine has always had sort of the vibe of like a bad boy or something. like the story i’ve always had in my head for when you multiply something by nine is like him seducing the others partner, like how nine time eight is seventy two it’s like two is the partner of eight because that’s how you get ten but nine is too charismatic and switches eight out for seven and just kinda smirks at the fuming eight. sick number honestly, has always been a favorite

The heavy downpour came quick, the shock of bright lightning and booming sound of thunder following after even quicker. The diner lights flickered momentarily, causing Gil to pull Nate from the floor to go and check the generators, meaning someone needed to cover his tables. Oakley wasn't in the kitchens tonight and it was Melanie's day off so she was the only choice to bounce across the diner; luckily, all of her assigned customers satisfied at the moment so she could do just that.

A sympathetic, soft smile took her lips after approaching the man, who looked as if all color had drained from his face the moment thunder rolled around. She held in her hands a fresh pot of hot coffee, carried with her from another table. "Can I get you a refill?" Being that this hadn't been one of her tables, she didn't know if he drank coffee, but extended the offer anyway.

"Yeah, I'm not a big fan of this weather myself. You know, what I like to do when I'm uncomfortable sometimes is try to focus on something else." That was easier said than done, she knew, and depending on the person not the greatest advice - she would know as she once criticized the person who told her such a thing before. Yet here she was giving it to another in attempt to be helpful.

You've been planning this girls' trip for months, and you couldn't wait to escape for a few days of fun and relaxation with your friends. However, as the day of departure approaches, you're filled with mixed emotions.

Leaving your boyfriend Keato and your two-year-old daughter Oakley behind isn't easy. As you pack your bags, Oakley clings to your leg, and tears prick at the corners of your eyes. You hug her tightly and reassure her that you'll be back soon.

Keato stands by, a reassuring presence as always. He's promised to take care of Oakley and make sure everything runs smoothly while you're gone.

The first few hours of the trip are filled with excitement and laughter as you catch up with your friends. However, as the night wears on, you can't shake the feeling that you're missing out on something back home.

"Don't worry, sweetheart," Keato said, picking up their daughter and holding her close. "Mommy will be back soon, and in the meantime, we'll have lots of fun together."

Oakley continued to cry, clinging to Keato as if she was afraid he would leave too. Keato held her gently, rubbing her back and whispering soothing words in her ear.

"Don't worry. Everything's going to be alright. Daddy's here with you, and we'll have our own special weekend together."

Keato tried his best to distract Oakley with games and toys, but nothing seemed to work. She continued to cry for you, and Keato couldn't help but feel helpless.

As the day went on, Keato tried different things to make Oakley feel better. He took her to the park, where they ran around and played on the swings. He even tried cooking her favorite meal for dinner, but nothing seemed to help.

soon both Oakley and keato were snuggled in bed watching disney + "i miss mama" Oakley whimpered "i know baby me too" and soon sleep fell upon both of them

gabriela was born on may 11, 1998 in a small town in texas. her father was a Brazilian immigrant who fell in love with her american mother during a trip to brazil. within a year, her mother was pregnant with her. they proceeded to have two more children, a brother and sister. 

gabriela was a highly intelligent, creative child. her father had this very domineering way of thinking often saying “children are to be seen and not heard.” because of this, she became quiet and was cautious to never get in trouble

she was perpetually shy and a bit of a chubby child with glasses. this led to severe bullying from her peers. it wasn’t rare for her to cry in the bathroom instead of go to the lunchroom for many years.

by her early adolescence years, gabriela became depressed and anxious pretty much all the time. her parents were firm believes against psychiatric treatment, so she mostly suffered in silence. alone, afraid, and full of self-hatred. 

despite her hard times, she had two friends who were her absolute world. they were always there for her when she needed them and they were inseparable. they kept her afloat. 

unfortunately, at age fourteen, her dad got a job offer in moorbrooke, maine that he couldn’t resist. the family uprooted and left texas withn a month. she quickly lost touch with her friends and was once again alone. 

she managed to survive high school by keeping her head in the books and avoiding any sort of attention. she’d likely be voted “most forgettable” by much of her classmates.

upon graduation, she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. sure, she was highly intelligent and had the grades, but felt passion for nothing in particular.

she decided to enroll in community college while she figured it out. somehow, she found cosmetology and immediately fell in love with the idea of it. what started out as a single class out of curiosity turned into a passion. makeup, fashion, hair dressing -- these were things that made people feel beautiful. 

for lack of a better way to describe it, gabriela reinvented herself and had a “glow up”. she renamed herself “gabz” and found the confidence she always wished she had.

personality:

gabz presents herself as a bad bitch to the world. she’s kind, goofy, and isn’t afraid to flaunt her curves. despite this, some of her insecurities come through sometimes and it can contribute to some of her character flaws. 

she can be a bit naive, too trusting, and needy. any form of rejection, as small as it may be, breaks her heart. 

gabz is creative and fun. she spends a lot of her time meeting new people, posting makeup tutorials online, and making spontaneous decisions. 

since she didn’t experience much in her youth, she rarely says no to new experiences.  this can sometimes put her in dangerous situations. yikes. 

she’s a typical taurus (just like me) and loves the finer things in life. comfort food, beautiful clothes, makeup, and just pretty things. it’s not rare that she spends too much money on materialistic things and has to work overtime to make rent. 

even her small flat in oakley court has fancy decor, despite it not being the most glamorous place in town to live. she makes it work. 

she’s bisexual and craves affection and validation, which may lead to one night stands.. which yes, secretly break her heart. why won’t anyone stay?
