Oh and while we're here, here's Black Skin, White Masks by Frantz Fanon

and Wretched of the Earth, also by Frantz Fanon

there are of course other texts that are a worthwhile read but I feel these are a good bunch to check out if you haven't read them/skimmed them yet :)

The Story of Silence by Alex Myers, he took on a big job and he did it so so well !!

11. A book that was most out of your comfort zone

probably Black Skin, White Masks by Frantz Fanon just bc it's long and v v dense and i don't read heaps of nonfiction though i'd like to read more!

i didn't actually! and i didn't read many books that were part of a series this year either
