Phobias: HATES spiders. other kinds of creepy crawlies are fine but spiders freak him out

What They Would Be Famous For: in a modern context probably for something like gymnastics or martial arts? he’s a monk and one of his jobs at his monastery is fighting in ceremonial battles during big events/festivals so that’s the closest i can get without saying he’s like a wrestler cause he really does not have the build. he’s a twunk at best

What They Would Get Arrested For: trespassing. he likes to explore new areas and unless it is explicitly stated somewhere that you can’t be there he is going to go there

Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: the “it was all a dream” cliche. if it was just a dream then what was the point of him reading/watching it

Talents and/or Powers: i mean he’s a monk so he’s VERY good at hand to hand combat and acrobatics. as far as legitimate “powers” he’s following the way of the four elements so he can harness some elemental abilities, at the moment mainly just fire

Why Someone Might Love Them: he’s always willing to help people with their issues. another job of his with his monastery is outreach to people in need so he’s always kind of in “active listener” mode where if someone needs to talk through a problem they’re having he’ll listen and offer advice

Why Someone Might Hate Them: the same reason someone might love him. he always wants to help people which leads to uncomfortable encounters when he tries to help someone who doesn’t want anyone prying into their business

How They Change: i’m unclear on what this question means so im going to interpret it as how he’s changed as a character. since i first made him a year ago now he’s become a VASTLY different person, he’s a lot more conflicted and complex and very, very sad. he’s generally a fun happy person but if you pay attention you can tell that there’s something just under the surface that’s tearing him up. i set out to make a fun happy monk who serves the goddess of joy and i ended up with this guy and i love him

Why You Love Them: he was my first oc in probably 6 or 7 years!! making him for my first dnd campaign really got me out of a LONG funk re: creating my own characters and original content. in a lot of ways he’s a reflection of myself so he gives me an outlet to deal with my own shit and an outlet for joy because i love making him happy too

God wizards are so fuckin hard to make. They’re not even all that complicated they just have so many damn spells. Like who needs this many spells? I don’t need this many spells. I can have 23 prepared spells that change everyday, I don’t even have 23 spell slots. I can have 46 spells in my Spellbook. Jesus fuckin Christ.
