My highschool exempted seniors from finals based off of attendance. People came in sick all the time because if anyone missed any classes they were suddenly overwhelmed with work that they had to catch up on, they also had to self-teach themselves everything they missed.

Im in the process of making secondary pages for my critters alone to focus more heavily on the art aspect of creating these dolls.I want to be free to once again delve into my passion as an artist. It’s taken around 7 years to return to art as a safe haven after the stress of the HSC (higher school certificate in New South Wales, Australia awarded to those graduating yr 12, the marks of which determine which level of university course you can immediately join. The equivalent of Matriculation in South Africa). I poured my soul into my final artwork but it never felt right. I was always so sleep deprived and my judgement was always impaired. I began to associate acquiring knowledge, doing art, playing music with soul crushing, bone chilling dread. Asking a child what they want to be when they grow up is like asking me what I want to do after I die. I don't know but it begs a bigger question, "I'm I supposed to know" freedom is the right to be able to choose a path but nobody tells you that freedom is also the right to not have to choose a path and not be punished. If you don't know what you want to do with your life, hold on to that. fight for that freedom and the chance to wonder if you feel like it one day. If people start to pressureing you about what you want from life say, "i just want life, I'm content with just being alive" it's okay to just eat, and sleep, and love and be loved and supported for wanting nothing else in life.
