Ahem anywho, This was fun to draw, the scythe especially. They really gave highmore TWO really cool scythes (all scythes are cool)

I've been trying to play around with papercraft and mixing that with my washi tape stuff - Did this 'redraw' of Highmore from Arknights since the image had a lot of details and layers to play around and practice with. I learned a lot, like - don't get greedy and try to cut through your paper stencil and the coloured paper at the same time (the edges of the darker portions of her hair suffer from that) and - you can absolutely just slap lots of washi down on plain paper and then cut your shape out of it like it's just more paper.

All in all, a happy experiment.

Took a look at Highmore's files because I just raised her and got to say, I didn't expect her battle dialogue to be so.... Ruthless yet calm.

None of you have any idea how much I love the IS3 Highmore fight. It's a fight that's capable of being decently challenging (or extremely challenging if you choose to make it so) but is also extremely open ended in how you approach the fight, mostly because the boss is designed in a way where there are a very large number of ways to interact with the boss: you can cc her, you can block her (both by having 1 or 2 strong defenders + a good healer or 2, or by a sequence of fast redeploys), you can push her into a hole, and, of course, you can just shoot her to death (and there are a lot of units that can do this. Even someone like Exusiai can do this since despite the fact Highmore has 3.5 range, if you splitbox Highmore in a specific way you can get Exu to safely shoot Highmore from outside of her phase 2 range.)

Even at the highest difficulties basically all the above options are viable; off the top of my head I can think of at least 10 drastically different ways you can kill this boss in D15 relicless!

Probably the thing I love most about the fight is that feels relatively balanced and a good meaningful battle at basically every difficulty level, which is really incredible when you consider like just how different D0 and D15 are.
