I don't know if this is something anyone cares about but if you like fandom history you might find it fun?
I've been slowly and painstakingly digitizing all of my sketchbooks from 2015 until now and sorting the pages by fandom, so here's approximately 5 years of Les Mis sketches, starting in 2016 and with a few unknown dates. These are only some of MANY. ID in alt text for all of these. For any screen reader users, there are a LOT of sketches, so it's a lot of alt text to get through.

Quick Statement From Stanza Part 2 - COVID19 Lockdown Stuff
I will make this in English rather than any other language, as the majority of my fans and followers speak it as their first language and it will be easier. To those of you already on lockdown, like myself (I am on day 12, a little ahead of most in this country due to coming in contact with someone who potentially has it), there are many things to help you work out your boredom. It is early days for some and some of you have been isolating for quite a while, either way don’t be discouraged! Thank you for following advice and doing your part! (Heck knows so many aren’t and are being selfish.) It can get lonely, or boring, so this is where I will try and help out with some ideas! Many of you are probably isolated from your loved ones and are finding it both sad and lonely. Some of you may have girlfriends/boyfriends, mothers and fathers, or just very good friends who you have no been able to see. I sypmathise entirely. I have not been able to see my mother, who is like a best friend to me, for weeks now and it is tough. However! We use messenger video chat twice a day to talk to each other. This is one way that we are beating the feeling of isolation. Why not try setting up a regular video call with your friends or family? If you don’t use messenger, why not try Skype or even Discord? Discord is easy to use and allows for video calls as well! If video is not an option for you, try to keep in touch using regular calls. Use messenger, or Discord as a way to just call people up. It’s free and you won’t rack up a huge phone bill as a result. As for activities, there are many options available depending on your capabilities. Take this time you have to try some of the following:
Learn a new skill - There are many resources out there to help you learn something new. Books available online PDFs, Youtube tutorials, you name it. The sky is the limit!
Draw things every day - Take this time to draw something ecah day. Even if you consider yourself unskilled, it doesn’t matter! Try using it as a creative outlet, maybe try drawing something each day you are indoors that documents how you feel and how you overcame it, or even just things that make you extremely happy.
Write! - This one is something I think people need to do more of and Tumblr is actually the perfect place to do it. Like the above suggestion, why not document how you feel, or write things you have always wanted to. Got a great idea for a story? Do it!
Cooking and baking - This is a great opportunity to learn how to cook/bake, or to create new recipes based on what you have in your cupboard. Sometimes coming up with new meals on a limited budget or limited cupboard stock can be tough, so lets get creative! I have been creating a lot of things from basic cupboard staples lately myself and it’s been super fun! If people want any advice on reducing waste and recipes, feel free to ask!
Exercise - Of course I’m going to talk about this. It would be weird for me not to, right? ;) Exercise is a very important thing during isolation. While we are allowed some exercise when in lockdown, it is not enough for your daily needs. This is why staying active indoors is a must. It not only helps your immune system, it also helps your mental wellbeing! There are many ways you can do this as well and you don’t need fancy gym equipment. Tinned goods can actually be used as light weights for you to hold, bags of sugar too. You can even create your own dance routines as you clean and cook! Maybe even set yourself a goal to do a set number of squats, or push ups per day!
Schedule - I know, I know. Some of you probably cringed at the word. I’m not a fan of schedules myself. (Shock horror!) But, this can actually be a big help. With a structured day you will find that, not only will you be more productive, but your days will be fulfilling and less boring. Start with your breakfast. (This is important! Don’t skip it! Even if it’s just a banana, or something small like a yogurt, don’t skip! COFFEE DOESN’T COUNT!) Schedule something light to begin with so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Maybe something like watering your plants, or taking out trash from the night before. That way you can build up your motivation. Then move on to something like the laundry or dishes, then as the day goes on make the chorse a little bigger. Have your meals at set times each day and train your body so that it expects them. Try not to miss any if you can. After each meal, scedule a lighter task and build up again. But, one important thing... Make sure to always schedule yourself your own free time to enjoy yourself! This is VERY important! Your mental health also relies on you to have fun and do what you love.
Some other misc ideas:
Make a list of things you want to do after this calms down. Now, we don’t know how long this is going to take, but I know plenty of people are doing this. This can be simple things like riding your bike in the park, to things like visiting that museum you always wanted to, or travelling to another country. Even something as simple as making more time for your friends and family. Make your lists (Keep it realistic, of course) and give yourself things to look forward to!
Join a Dungeons and Dragons session, or start one
Join an online craft club
Join an online book club
Grow some plants or even vegetables and fruit (I have potatoes that I will be planting soon myself!)
Read that book you’ve been putting off reading
Contact nursing homes to see if you can set up a video call with some elderly folks to help them while they are also isolated from loved ones
Play that game you’ve been wanting to but keep putting off
Paint something
Refurbish an old piece of furniture with a lick of paint or two
Get fit (See tips above)
Learn a new dance move each day
Learn a language
Learn a new word each day and try and use it (This works well with drawing and writing! You can base the art/writing around that word!)
Sew those darn clothes you’ve been meaning to repair for ages (Alternatively, learn to sew! It’s an important skill and helps make clothing waste less extreme when you don’t end up tossing that shirt that has a hole in the underarm.)
Photography! Photograph things in your environment. Document your isolation. Let the world see things in your life in new and interesting ways. (Obviously, stay safe and don’t identify anything too personal such as your address and street, etc.)
Make music! Learn to play an instrument, or make music if you already know how to play. You can even download programs to create music digitally! (I highly recommend Fruity Loops Studio if you can afford it! I’ve used it for years!) You can even collaborate with friends by recording your part, they record their parts and you can mix together to create something amazing!
Call your neighbors if you know their numbers. I’m sure they’d love the chat!
MOVIE MARATHON!
Quit something. Now is a great time to quit that bad habit. Whether it be just a bad habit you have like being lazy, or even something like smoking, alcohol, or even drugs. Why not make it your goal to come out of this clean and healthy and free of the things that hold you back?
OK I need to add some elf propaganda in here somewhere, so here we go. Try and make it your goal to include fruit and veg in your diet every day. See what creative ways you can include it, say hiding it in other foods, making brilliant new recipes or even smoothies!
Whatever you end up doing, stay safe, stay healthy and stay occupied. And if you feel down and lonely, remember that we are in this together. Just send a message! I’m always around!
I also have a Discord for anyone should they feel low and need the interaction. It’s full of decent people and even has an emotional support channel:

Let's be real: 2020 has been a nightmare. Between the political unrest and novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it's difficult to look back on the year and find something, anything, that was a potential bright spot in an otherwise turbulent trip around the sun. Luckily, there were a few bright spots: namely, some of the excellent works of military history and analysis, fiction and non-fiction, novels and graphic novels that we've absorbed over the last year.
Here's a brief list of some of the best books we read here at Task & Purpose in the last year. Have a recommendation of your own? Send an email to [email protected] and we'll include it in a future story.
Missionaries by Phil Klay
I loved Phil Klay’s first book, Redeployment (which won the National Book Award), so Missionaries was high on my list of must-reads when it came out in October. It took Klay six years to research and write the book, which follows four characters in Colombia who come together in the shadow of our post-9/11 wars. As Klay’s prophetic novel shows, the machinery of technology, drones, and targeted killings that was built on the Middle East battlefield will continue to grow in far-flung lands that rarely garner headlines. Battle Born: Lapis Lazuli by Max Uriarte
Written by 'Terminal Lance' creator Maximilian Uriarte, this full-length graphic novel follows a Marine infantry squad on a bloody odyssey through the mountain reaches of northern Afghanistan. The full-color comic is basically 'Conan the Barbarian' in MARPAT. [Buy]
 - James Clark, senior reporter
The Liberator by Alex Kershaw
Now a gritty and grim animated World War II miniseries from Netflix, The Liberator follows the 157th Infantry Battalion of the 45th Division from the beaches of Sicily to the mountains of Italy and the Battle of Anzio, then on to France and later still to Bavaria for some of the bloodiest urban battles of the conflict before culminating in the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. It's a harrowing tale, but one worth reading before enjoying the acclaimed Netflix series. [Buy]
 - Jared Keller, deputy editor
The Only Plane in the Sky: An Oral History of 9/11 by Garrett Graff
If you haven’t gotten this must-read account of the September 11th attacks, you need to put The Only Plane In the Sky at the top of your Christmas list. Graff expertly explains the timeline of that day through the re-telling of those who lived it, including the loved ones of those who were lost, the persistently brave first responders who were on the ground in New York, and the service members working in the Pentagon. My only suggestion is to not read it in public — if you’re anything like me, you’ll be consistently left in tears. [Buy]
- Haley Britzky, Army reporter
The Body in Pain: The Making and Unmaking of the World by Elaine Scarry
Why do we even fight wars? Wouldn’t a massive tennis tournament be a nicer way for nations to settle their differences? This is one of the many questions Harvard professor Elaine Scarry attempts to answer, along with why nuclear war is akin to torture, why the language surrounding war is sterilized in public discourse, and why both war and torture unmake human worlds by destroying access to language. It’s a big lift of a read, but even if you just read chapter two (like I did), you’ll come away thinking about war in new and refreshing ways. [Buy]
 - David Roza, Air Force reporter
Stalingrad: The Fateful Siege: 1942-1943 by Antony Beevor
Stalingrad takes readers all the way from the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union to the collapse of the 6th Army at Stalingrad in February 1943. It gives you the perspective of German and Soviet soldiers during the most apocalyptic battle of the 20th century. [Buy]
- Jeff Schogol, Pentagon correspondent
America's War for the Greater Middle East by Andrew J. Bacevich
I picked up America's War for the Greater Middle East earlier this year and couldn’t put it down. Published in 2016 by Andrew Bacevich, a historian and retired Army officer who served in Vietnam, the book unravels the long and winding history of how America got so entangled in the Middle East and shows that we’ve been fighting one long war since the 1980s — with errors in judgment from political leaders on both sides of the aisle to blame. “From the end of World War II until 1980, virtually no American soldiers were killed in action while serving in the Greater Middle East. Since 1990, virtually no American soldiers have been killed in action anywhere else. What caused this shift?” the book jacket asks. As Bacevich details in this definitive history, the mission creep of our Vietnam experience has been played out again and again over the past 30 years, with disastrous results. [Buy]
 - Paul Szoldra, editor-in-chief
Burn In: A Novel of the Real Robotic Revolution by P.W. Singer and August Cole
In Burn In, Singer and Cole take readers on a journey at an unknown date in the future, in which an FBI agent searches for a high-tech terrorist in Washington, D.C. Set after what the authors called the "real robotic revolution," Agent Lara Keegan is teamed up with a robot that is less Terminator and far more of a useful, and highly intelligent, law enforcement tool. Perhaps the most interesting part: Just about everything that happens in the story can be traced back to technologies that are being researched today. You can read Task & Purpose's interview with the authors here. [Buy]
 - James Clark, senior reporter
SAS: Rogue Heroes by Ben MacIntyre
Like WWII? Like a band of eccentric daredevils wreaking havoc on fascists? Then you'll love SAS: Rogue Heroes, which re-tells some truly insane heists performed by one of the first modern special forces units. Best of all, Ben MacIntyre grounds his history in a compassionate, balanced tone that displays both the best and worst of the SAS men, who are, like anyone else, only human after all. [Buy]
 - David Roza, Air Force reporter
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn
The Alice Network is a gripping novel which follows two courageous women through different time periods — one living in the aftermath of World War II, determined to find out what has happened to someone she loves, and the other working in a secret network of spies behind enemy lines during World War I. This gripping historical fiction is based on the true story of a network that infiltrated German lines in France during The Great War and weaves a tale so packed full of drama, suspense, and tragedy that you won’t be able to put it down. Katherine Rondina, Anchor Books
“Because I published a new book this year, I've been answering questions about my inspirations. This means I've been thinking about and so thankful for The Girl in the Flammable Skirt by Aimee Bender. I can't credit it with making me want to be a writer — that desire was already there — but it inspired me to write stories where the fantastical complicates the ordinary, and the impossible becomes possible. A girl in a nice dress with no one to appreciate it. An unremarkable boy with a remarkable knack for finding things. The stories in this book taught me that the everydayness of my world could become magical and strange, and in that strangeness I could find a new kind of truth.”
Diane Cook is the author of the novel The New Wilderness, which was long-listed for the 2020 Booker Prize, and the story collection Man V. Nature, which was a finalist for the Guardian First Book Award, the Believer Book Award, the PEN/Hemingway Award, and the Los Angeles Times Award for First Fiction. Read an excerpt from The New Wilderness.
Bill Johnston, University of California Press
“I’ve revisited a lot of old favorites in this grim year of fear and isolation, and have been most thankful of all for The Collected Poems of Frank O’Hara. Witty, reflexive, intimate, queer, disarmingly occasional and monumentally serious all at once, they’ve been a constant balm and inspiration. ‘The only thing to do is simply continue,’ he wrote, in 'Adieu to Norman, Bon Jour to Joan and Jean-Paul'; ‘is that simple/yes, it is simple because it is the only thing to do/can you do it/yes, you can because it is the only thing to do.’”
Helen Macdonald is a nature essayist with a semiregular column in the New York Times Magazine. Her latest novel, Vesper Flights, is a collection of her best-loved essays, and her debut book, H Is for Hawk, won the Samuel Johnson Prize for Nonfiction and the Costa Book Award, and was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Kirkus Prize for Nonfiction.
Andrea Scher, Scholastic Press
“This year, I’m so grateful for You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson. Reading — like everything else — has been a struggle for me in 2020. It’s been tough to let go of all of my anxieties about the state of the world and our country and get swept away by a story. But You Should See Me in a Crown pulled me in right away; for the blissful time that I was reading it, it made me think about a world outside of 2020 and it made me smile from ear to ear. Joy has been hard to come by this year, and I’m so thankful for this book for the joy it brought me.”
Jasmine Guillory is the New York Times bestselling author of five romance novels, including this year’s Party of Two. Her work has appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Real Simple, and Time.
Nelson Fitch, Random House
“Last year, stuck in a prolonged reading rut that left me wondering if I even liked books anymore, I stumbled across Tenth of December by George Saunders, a collection of stories Saunders wrote between 1995 and 2012 that are at turns funny, moving, startling, weird, profound, and often all of those things at the same time. As a writer, what I crave most from books is to find one so excellent it makes me feel like I'd be better off quitting — and so wonderful that it reminds me what it is to be purely a reader again, encountering new worlds and revelations every time I turn a page. Tenth of December is that, and I'm so grateful that it fell off a high shelf and into my life.”
Veronica Roth is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Divergent series and the Carve the Mark duology. Her latest novel, Chosen Ones, is her first novel for adults. Read an excerpt from Chosen Ones.
Ian Byers-Gamber, Blazevox Books
“Waking up today to the prospect of some hours spent reading away part of another day of this disastrous, delirious pandemic year, I’m most grateful for the book in my hands, one itself full of gratitude for a life spent reading: Gloria Frym’s How Proust Ruined My Life. Frym’s essays — on Marcel Proust, yes, and Walt Whitman, and Lucia Berlin, but also peppermint-stick candy and Allen Ginsburg’s knees, among other Proustian memory-prompts — restore me to my sense of my eerie luck at a life spent rushing to the next book, the next page, the next word.”
Jonathan Lethem is the author of a number of critically acclaimed novels, including The Fortress of Solitude and the National Book Critics Circle Award winner Motherless Brooklyn. His latest novel, The Arrest, is a postapocalyptic tale about two siblings, the man that came between them, and a nuclear-powered super car.
David Heska Wanbli Weiden, Riverhead
“I’m incredibly grateful for the magnificent The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee by David Treuer. This book — a mélange of history, memoir, and reportage — is the reconceptualization of Native life that’s been urgently needed since the last great indigenous history, Dee Brown’s Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. It’s at once a counternarrative and a replacement for Brown’s book, and it rejects the standard tale of Native victimization, conquest, and defeat. Even though I teach Native American studies to college students, I found new insights and revelations in almost every chapter. Not only a great read, the book is a tremendous contribution to Native American — and American — intellectual and cultural history.”
David Heska Wanbli Weiden, an enrolled member of the Sicangu Lakota Nation, is author of the novel Winter Counts, which is BuzzFeed Book Club’s November pick. He is also the author of the children’s book Spotted Tail, which won the 2020 Spur Award from the Western Writers of America. Read an excerpt from Winter Counts.
Valerie Mosley, Tordotcom
“In 2020, I've been lucky to finish a single book within 30 days, but I burned through this 507-page brick in the span of a weekend. Harrow the Ninth reminded me that even when absolutely everything is terrible, it's still possible to feel deep, gratifying, brain-buzzing admiration for brilliant art. Thank you, Harrow, for being one of the brightest spots in a dark year and for keeping the home fires burning.”
Casey McQuiston is the New York Times bestselling author of Red, White & Royal Blue, and her next book, One Last Stop, comes out in 2021.
"I'm grateful for V.S. Naipaul's troubling masterpiece, A Bend in the River — which not only made me see the world anew, but made me see what literature could do. It's a book that's lucid enough to reveal the brutality of the forces shaping our world and its politics; yet soulful enough to penetrate the most recondite secrets of human interiority. A book of great beauty without a moment of mercy. A marriage of opposites that continues to shape my own deeper sense of just how much a writer can actually accomplish."
Ayad Akhtar is a novelist and playwright, and his latest novel, Homeland Elegies, is about an American son and his immigrant father searching for belonging in a post-9/11 country. He is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
Vanessa German, Feminist Press
“I'm most thankful for Daddy Was a Number Runner by Louise Meriwether. It's a YA book set in 1930s Harlem, and it was the first Black-girl-coming-of-age book I ever read, the first time I ever saw myself in a book. I appreciate how it expanded my world and my understanding that books can speak to you right where you are and take you on a journey, at the same time.”
Deesha Philyaw’s debut short story collection, The Secret Lives of Church Ladies, was a finalist for the 2020 National Book Award for Fiction. She is also the co-author of Co-Parenting 101: Helping Your Kids Thrive in Two Households After Divorce, written in collaboration with her ex-husband. Philyaw’s writing on race, parenting, gender, and culture has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, McSweeney’s, the Rumpus, and elsewhere. Read a story from The Secret Lives of Church Ladies.
Philippa Gedge, W. W. Norton & Company
“As both a writer and a reader I am hugely grateful for Patricia Highsmith’s plotting and writing suspense fiction. As a writer I’m thankful for Highsmith’s generosity with her wisdom and experience: She talks us through how to tease out the narrative strands and develop character, how to know when things are going awry, even how to decide to give things up as a bad job. She’s unabashed about sharing her own ‘failures,’ and in my experience, there’s nothing more encouraging for a writer than learning that our literary gods are mortal! As a reader, it provides a fascinating insight into the genesis of one of my favorite novels of all time — The Talented Mr. Ripley, as well as the rest of her brilliant oeuvre. And because it’s Highsmith, it’s so much more than just a how-to guide: It’s hugely engaging and, while accessible, also provides a glimpse into the mind of a genius. I’ve read it twice — while working on each of my thrillers, The Hunting Party and The Guest List — and I know I’ll be returning to the well-thumbed copy on my shelf again soon!”
Lucy Foley is the New York Times bestselling author of the thrillers The Guest List and The Hunting Party. She has also written two historical fiction novels and previously worked in the publishing industry as a fiction editor.
“The books I'm most thankful for this year are a three-book series titled Tales from the Gas Station by Jack Townsend. Walking a fine line between comedy and horror (which is much harder than people think), the books follow Jack, an employee at a gas station in a nameless town where all manner of horrifyingly fantastical things happen. And while the monsters are scary and more than a little ridiculous, it's Jack's bone-dry narration, along with his best friend/emotional support human, Jerry, that elevates the books into something that are as lovely as they are absurd.”
T.J. Klune is a Lambda Literary Award–winning author and an ex-claims examiner for an insurance company. His novels include The House in the Cerulean Sea and The Extraordinaries.
Sylvernus Darku (Team Black Image Studio), Ayebia Clarke Publishing
"Nervous Conditions is a book that I have read several times over the years, including this year. The novel covers the themes of gender and race and has at its heart Tambu, a young girl in 1960s Rhodesia determined to get an education and to create a better life for herself. Dangarembga’s prose is evocative and witty, and the story is thought-provoking. I’ve been inspired anew by Tambu each time I’ve read this book."
Peace Adzo Medie is Senior Lecturer in Gender and International Politics at the University of Bristol. She is the author of Global Norms and Local Action: The Campaigns to End Violence against Women in Africa (Oxford University Press, 2020). His Only Wife is her debut novel.
Jenna Maurice, HarperCollins
“The book I'm most thankful for? Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. My mother and father would read me poems from it before bed — I'm convinced it infused me not only with a sense of poetic cadence, but also a wry sense of humor.”
Victoria “V.E.” Schwab is the bestselling author of more than a dozen books, including Vicious, the Shades of Magic series, and This Savage Song. Her latest novel, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, is BuzzFeed Book Club’s December pick. Read an excerpt from The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
Meg Vázquez, Square Fish
“My childhood best friend gave me Troubling a Star by Madeleine L'Engle for Hanukkah when I was 11 years old, and it's still my favorite book of all time. I love the way it defies genre (it's a political thriller/YA romance that includes a lot of scientific research and also poetry??), and the way it values smartness, gutsiness, vulnerability, kindness, and a sense of adventure. The book follows 16-year-old Vicky Austin's life-altering trip to Antarctica; her trip changed my life, too. In a year when safe travel is almost impossible, I'm so grateful to be able to return to her story again and again.”
Kate Stayman-London's debut novel, One to Watch, is about a plus-size blogger who’s been asked to star on a Bachelorette-like reality show. Stayman-London served as lead digital writer for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and has written for notable figures, from former president Obama and Malala Yousafzai to Anna Wintour and Cher.
Katharine McGee is grateful for the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. Chris Bailey Photography, Firebird
“I’m thankful for the Redwall books by Brian Jacques. I discovered the series in elementary school, and it sparked a love of big, epic stories that has never left me. (If you read my books, you know I can’t resist a broad cast of characters!) I used to read the books aloud to my younger sister, using funny voices for all the narrators. Now that I have a little boy of my own, I can’t wait to someday share Redwall with him.”
Katharine McGee is the New York Times bestselling author of American Royals and its sequel, Majesty. She is also the author of the Thousandth Floor trilogy.
Beth Gwinn, Time-Life Books
"I am thankful most for books that carry me out of the world and back again, and while I find it painful to choose among them, here's one early and one late: Zen Cho's Black Water Sister, which comes out in 2021 but I devoured just two days ago, and the long out-of-print Wizards and Witches volume of the Time-Life Enchanted World series, which is where I first read about the legend of the Scholomance."
Naomi Novik is the New York Times bestselling author of the Nebula Award–winning novel Uprooted, Spinning Silver, and the nine-volume Temeraire series. Her latest novel, A Deadly Education, is the first of the Scholomance trilogy.
Christina Lauren are grateful for the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Christina Lauren, Little, Brown and Company
"We are thankful for the Twilight series for about a million reasons, not the least of which it's what brought the two of us together. Writing fanfic in a space where we could be silly and messy together taught us that we don't have to be perfect, but there's no harm in trying to get better with every attempt. It also cemented for us that the best relationships are the ones in which you can be your real, authentic self, even when you're struggling to do things you never thought you'd be brave enough to attempt. Twilight brought millions of readers back into the fold and inspired hundreds of romance authors. We really do thank Stephenie Meyer every day for the gift of Twilight and the fandom it created."

TGIWednesday and my gift to you plus it's bogo time!
Tumblr media
TGIWednesday News
Are you weary of all the advertising already?... Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Local Business Saturday, Giving Tuesday ... well guess what, we're going to top them all with... wait for it ... "The 12 Days of BOGO!"  But first... remember during this time of year to make time for you to relax a little bit, maybe a massage or day trip or walk in the park. You MUST take better care of you.  As I age, self-care becomes more important.  Are you make you a priority? If you’re reading this You are the gift that keeps on giving and being and co-creating.  We have chosen to take the road less traveled, often filled with as much wonder as adversity - know that you can be the gift to and for others and by so doing you’re giving yourself a wonderful gift in the process of being loving and kind, grounded and calm and contributing to others.

MY GIFT TO YOU!
~ CONNECTING TO HIGHER SELF ~ (Press play to watch and listen as I fish this for you) My higher self switch is turned on. I believe, think, know and feel that my connection to my higher self is switched on now. I am ready, willing and able to pause and in the silence allow spirit to show me the simpler way. I know, when, where, how and why to co-create with my higher self, in balance with my thinking, and heart resonance.I am doing so now with grace and ease in all languages and throughout all time lines and so it is.
From the Fish Box
"Working with Jimmy has resulted in numerous miracles for my family. Together we have saved our family farm after the negative legacy of the GFC threatened us and almost brought me to breakdown personally. We’ve negotiated legal issues, banks, real estates, relationships....you name it.....I feel I’ve been hit with the lot.....but by fishing them together we truly have worked miracles! Even my lawyer cannot believe the outcomes achieved. He said he’s never seen anyone beat the odds the way I have.  "For me the real game changer was the decision last year to sign up for the monthly My Daily Prayer service you now offer. It was like fine tuning my connection to Spirit through you. Each month I’ve been able to tackle the most pressing issues in detail, and as we headed for the last hurdle of refinancing the farm with some historical credit issues that once again put the odds against us, the Daily Prayer Service has come through again! "I’m learning to trust that process knowing things will work out with grace and ease....perhaps not the way I expected, but with better results. Life in general has been smoother since starting the MDP service and that’s a fact. Relationships within the family are the best they’ve ever been, and everyone is thriving.  I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel ....... you have no idea how comforting that is after all we have been through! Thank you for the blessings your work has brought to my family." - Erica B./ Australia

Receive 24/7 Prayers from Jimmy
You will send me a list of the members of your immediate household, and yes even pets, and I will add them to my daily prayers. I will arise daily before you are even awake to start my prayers and also run my intelligent computer software 24/7 deleting the negative and increasing the strength of the positive creating a higher probability of outcomes for you and the family.  Each comes with a one-time email analysis print out via the intelligent healing software that I use on your behalf.  Most clients have had amazing results and outcomes and I get emails of thanks each and every week!
I will dial into you daily in the wee hours and make certain that you are a CLEAR YES, UNCLEAR to NO and RUNNING FORWARD before you start your day.

I strongly suggest you take a good look at this workout program that Jason Ferruggia has put together. It’s got the manual, audio, video, support and all kinds of incredible workouts that I think you’re going to like.
Our Muscle Gaining Secrets Review
In this review and analysis of we’re going to be taking a closer look at the ebook and PDF, muscle gaining secrets by Jason Ferruggia.
This is going to be a good Muscle Gaining Secrets review because honestly we had no idea who Jason Ferruggia was until we started doing some internet research.
We did a close examination of his Muscle Gaining Secrets ebook and critiqued it quite thoroughly. When we saw his muscle gaining guide/course we thought what else could a guy like Jason Ferruggia teach us. I think we were sorely mistaken.
  Who is Jason Ferruggia?
Well after doing some online research and a bit of intense investigation we realized quickly this guy knows what he’s talking about. Jason Ferruggia is a world renowned fitness and performance enhancement specialist.
He also is the head trainer and adviser for Men’s Fitness magazine as well as a ton of other online and offline publications.
He’s helped people in over 40 countries and has been working out for 20 plus years and over 14 years as an instructor.
Clearly Jason Ferruggia is on top of his game.
But is the Muscle Gaining Secrets ebook any good? Would it benefit us? Could we learn anything from it?
First off before we go any further with the Muscle Gaining Secrets review let’s discuss what you get.
Detailed outline of what you get in Muscle Gaining Secrets:
The Hardgainers Guide to Explosive Muscle Growth to The Hardgainers Guide to Getting Big & Ripped
The Key to Explosively Fast Muscle Gain…in Just 45 Minutes or Less…3 Days a Week!
The 29-Week Advanced Max Power Workout Plan (instantly downloadable)
Detailed  descriptions of the top 100 muscle building exercises, with cutting edge, never before seen performance tips and tricks that I’ve learned over 15 years training thousands of clients…
This cutting edge, dummy proof software tracks your body-fat and lean muscle levels with easy to read charts and graphs that you can print out or view onscreen…
In this 60 minute quick start audio guide you’ll hear absolutely everything you need to know about building muscle…
Building muscle just got a whole lot easier. You get numerous meals and shakes that can be prepared in 10 minutes or less by even those with no cooking skills whatsoever…
Optional Upgrades
If you have limited time or just prefer to learn by listening rather than reading then this is the bonus for you. I hired…Jim Wendler is a world class, champion powerlifter who overcame less than average genetics and a near fatal illness to go on to squat 1003 pounds and bench press over 600 in competition…
The Diesel Crew is the most innovative collection of minds in the entire strength and conditioning industry…
Here’s hopefully a fresh look and our evaluation of Muscle Gaining Secrets by Jason Ferruggia. In this Muscle Gaining Secrets review, believe me, we did more than just a simple once over or run through of his muscle gaining ebook.
I hope this Muscle Gaining Secrets review is truly an in-depth report. I hope you enjoy this write-up and choose to give Muscle Gaining secrets another look.
Good Points About Muscle Gaining Secrets
Clearly the Muscle Gaining Secrets ebook is one of the hidden gems of the bodybuilding world. We’ve been hearing a lot about it lately so that’s why we had to really scrutinize Muscle Gaining Secrets in-depth. The amount of information you get is like information overload.
Which is great in my mind because that’s what you pay for right?
Jason Ferruggia is a great writer which makes Muscle Gaining Secrets ebook a fun and very interesting read. The muscle building secrets that he shares are amazing and easy to understand. Having this knowledge when you’re in the gym is priceless. You’ll feel head and shoulders above anybody else.
If I Had To Critique Muscle Gaining Secrets
After doing a complete inspection and study in this Muscle Gaining Secrets review I’ve heard a few people mention to me the quality of the images could be a little sharper. I honestly didn’t see that they were lower quality pictures. In my mind the pictures are supposed to enhance the information, not the other way around. If the quality of the images is the only thing to complain or criticize about, that means we’re onto something good here.
Muscle Gaining Secrets Exclusive Refund & Money Back Guarantee
This Muscle Gaining Secrets program comes with an impressive 60 day money back guarantee. I had to mention that in this review. I think that’s pretty amazing because that gives you 2 full months to impliment his whole strategy and if it sucks or you don’t like it, not a problem just send it back and they don’t hassle you about it. This is one of the reasons I give rave reviews to Muscle Gaining Secrets and kudos to Jason Ferruggia.
  Conclusion/Summary
I strongly recommend that you purchase this course. I don’t care if you’re a man or a women. It doesn’t matter either if you’ve been working out for 2 weeks or you are a seasoned bodybuilder. It’s just my opinion but I think this course is going to go up in price because of how much information is really inside. The Muscle Gaining Secrets ebook is a hidden gem.
My Opinion And Synopsis
I could go on forever in this Muscle Gaining Secrets review. You just have to purchase it, try it out and put it to good use in order to really know everything I’m talking about. In my final judgement I have to give Muscle Gaining Secrets a full 5 stars as you can see above. I strongly recommend you buy this ebook before the price goes up.
Why is muscle gaining secrets an ebook?
Bodybuilding e-books seem to be all the rage these days. An e-book (some people call them softbooks, cyber books, digital books [DBF – digital book format], e-readers) is basically an e-version of a traditional hardback or paperback book in digital format. There are many ebook readers these days like an Amazon Kindle, Sony E-reader, or the Apple Ipad. They are great devices for being able to read these types of ebooks. Muscle gaining secrets ebook is great to take with you on the go and as an ebook muscle gaining secrets gets updated all the time. When was the last time you read a traditional hardcover book where the author updated a chapter and you didn’t have to buy the newest version?
In my opinion Jason Ferruggia wrote Muscle Gaining Secrets as an ebook because it’s much easier than traditional publishing, you can download it instantly and it’s better for the planet. It just makes sense. Plus most ebooks use electronic publishing (instant), Text-to-speech software (where the device can read out loud to you), e-text (very easy on the eyes when you’re reading) or e-ink, and epaper or electronic paper (saves the planet with deforestation).
How about the muscle gaining secrets download
Many people want to download muscle gaining secrets by Jason Ferruggia. In order to download muscle gaining secrets here are the system requirments you must have on your computer. When you download a file off the internet, essentially you’re moving and copying the file from one computer or server to another. Basically it’s a file transfer.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1. A PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat 2. A computer with at least a modem and internet connection 3. A hard rive with enough space
And that’s all you need for the Jason Ferruggia’s Muscle Gaining Secrets download.
Is Jason Ferruggia a scam?
There are people who wonder what Jason Ferruggia is all about and if a shiester or scam?
Anybody who sells products through Clickbank (the Amazon.com of Digital Products) must not be involved in shady or illegal activity. Clickbank cracks down harder than any other company online as far as fraud prevention, stealing and so forth. Jason Ferruggia has been in the bodybuilding and fitness world for many many years and written articles for all the top magazines and is seen as a fitness and muscle building guru.
He’s 100% trustworthy and would never defraud and rip off anybody. If he was in it for that, he wouldn’t have put together the masterpiece that is Muscle Gaining Secrets. He wouldn’t work with Clickbank and he wouldn’t offer and 60 day no hassle money back guarantee. If Jason Ferruggia were a scam artist he wouldn’t offer the types of products and services he does and he wouldn’t be regarded so highly in his industry. Scam artists are crooks and frauds that don’t offer any value. A scammer is somebody who tries to trick, con deceive you. Jason Ferruggia is far from being called a con artist or scammer. He’s got integrity and loyalty to his customers whom he loves.
If anybody says Jason Ferruggia or Muscle Gaining Secrets is a scam, then they need to do just a little bit of research.
The benefits of Muscle Gaining Secrets PDF Basically a PDF (Portable Document Format) ebook is something that can be shared from computer to computer in an electronic format. Adobe Systems came up with Adobe Acrobat and PDF files back in 1993 to be able to better read and share bigger documents in a more user friendly format. Many PDF files, like Muscle Gaining Secrets by Jason Ferruggia, can be read on e-readers or ebook devices like An Apple Ipad, Sony E-reader and the Amazon Kindle. So it reads just like any normal paperback or hardback book. Because Muscle Gaining Secrets is in PDF format, you can download it instantly, print it out on paper if you want and read it in many different ways and on many different devices. Lots of people print PDF files onto CD’s and take them to Kinko’s to print them out (much cheaper than using your own printer ink and cartridges). This helps cut down less trees and deforestation thus helping save the planet. Very cool!
I truly hope you enjoyed this muscle gaining secrets review.

Christmas Gift Ideas for the Editor – 2017 edition
As 2017 winds down and the holiday season ramps up then it must be time for another Christmas Gift Ideas for the Editor. We’ve been doing this little giving season list for 7 years now. Yes other websites have stolen the idea but this is the original. And this year we did a webinar as well with some of the items below as well as some items from the past! That webinar is embedded at the bottom of this article. If you want a list of the items in the webinar to send to your loved ones grab this Christmas Gifts for Editors 2017 webinar list PDF (17 mb) of the slides I used in the webinar and send it on. Forward this or any of our other lists over to loved ones looking for a gift for the editor.
Electronic paper eWriter
Some type of electronic paper tablet might seem like a total waste in the edit suite what with iPads and big phones and markers and PostNotes and … you know … real paper but this is a little luxury I’ve put on my Christmas list this year. I didn’t think much about it until I was playing around with an eWriter at Barnes and Noble. I then got to noticing how much I do actually write on paper while in the edit suite. It’s usually to makes notes from the client or notes for myself while watching a cut or even notes while taking a phone call but something about hand writing these items and then checking them off just feels good.
You can spend some big dollars on something like the reMarkable paper tablet (or just buy another iPad at that point) I’ve put the Boogie Board Jot on my list, for about $30.
Some kind of 360 video viewer
If you’re working in video then you’ve at least heard about 360 video even if you’re not working in it. If you don’t already have some kind of 360 video viewing apparatus for your phone (like Google Cardboard) then you need one, if nothing else then to see what it’s all about.
There are a number of other options out there for 360 VR video viewing on your phone so Cardboard isn’t the only choice, it’s just the most well known. Tom’s Guide has a good list of them as well.
Amazon Echo, Google Home
This new world of always-on digital assistants are a nice thing to have in the edit suite. While you’ll get the most use out of one by integrating it into some of the home automation options out there I’ve found it useful for tracking time and working on the calendar. But perhaps the best skill is music streaming. It’s nice to just be able to speak music ideas into the air and not have to deal with launching some music service on the computer (or phone) and/or have iTunes running in the background while editing. These devices don’t have the greatest fidelity when it comes to music playback quality but they are more than enough for background music while working. I’ve gone the Amazon route with an Echo but Google also offers their Google Home. Apparently Apple is going to release the HomePod someday but not in time for this Christmas.
And you can ask them useless things like this:
A metal bulletin board
Bulletin boards are a favorite of mine as a way to tack up notes, hang the lanyard or dangle the frequency used cable. The old cork and push pin bulletin boards are a thing of the past so in 2017 I really like a magnetic bulletin board.
They can come in all shapes and sizes and you can get them from most any retailer out there including Amazon (of course), Wayfair and Hayneedle to name a few.
Bonus points if it’s got dry erase capabilities as that come in handy too. And if you really want to go nuts have it cover a really large surface area like an entire wall.
Or if you want everything all in one for any size wall check out IdeaPaint as they have a lot of ideas on how to customize your creative space.
Topo anti-fatigue mat
I’ve written a lot about standing desks over the years but not anything (that I can remember) about anti-fatigue mats that can go a long way toward making your standing work day a lot more pleasant. For years I used a cheapo mat but recently purchased a Topo anit-fatigue mat for $100.
This irregularly shaped mat “inspires active and varied stances” with its different surfaces and instantly makes standing for the edit day feel better and less, well … fatiguing. I came highly recommended by several other editors and even though there are other cheaper options I with the Topo and love it.
Samsung Portable SSD T5 2TB
In the category of things I really wish someone would buy me comes this little Samsung SSD. These little USB 3 drives are small and super fast hitting up to 540 MB/second. Being an SSD they are shock resistant as well. I know how nice they are because I have an older version that I talked about in the Video Editing Go-Bag post. This only one is only 500 GB and by now it might be hitting some SSD read/write limithttp://techreport.com/review/27909/the-ssd-endurance-experiment-theyre-all-dead if that is indeed a thing.
I’ve used my old Samsung Portable SSD as a place for Adobe caches, FCPX Libraries, to carry around smaller project media, as a travel drive for presentation, a storage place for stock footage and sound effects just to name a few. This current version of the SSD starts at around $120 for 250 GB and goes up to $800 for 2 TB. Of course I want the 2 TB version but the 1 TB version comes in at only $377.99 on Amazon so if you buy it for me … thanks!
And Samsung isn’t the only one that makes a workhorse SSD for editors. Sandisk has one to that I hadn’t heard of.
Sandisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD
— Chris Palanca (@cjpalanca) November 16, 2017
The Sandisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD runs from 120GB up to 1 TB. And the design looks pretty cool too.
Apple AirPods
If you’re an iPhone user then the wireless Apple Airpods are a great update over the iconic white wired Apple earbuds. You don’t quite realize how liberating being wireless is until you do wireless. Plus you can talk through them. Yes there have been wireless headphones for a long time and yes there have been wireless bluetooth headsets for years and yes at $159 they are expensive but they are an example of what Apple does well. Pairing is a breeze, they operate by touch and the case doubles as the battery charger. Plus the way the magnets work with the case it’s just fun to use it.
iZotope RX 6
If you are an editor who has to deal with audio repair then there is no better tool than iZotope RX which is now at version 6. It is a little bit of magic with tools like de-rustle and de-wind among many others it can be a lifesaver. There are different versions at different price points so check what is available as all tools aren’t in some of the lower priced options so check out the feature comparison. The $1,199 RX Advanced has everything they make vs the $399 RX Standard. So how do you get someone to give this to you as a gift? Send them to Amazon of course where they can buy a code for you!
Some editing books
A couple of colleagues released actual printed books this year (they are also available electronically) that might be of interest to editors.
Art of the Cut: Conversations with Film and TV Editors
PVC’s Steve Hullfish has taken his long running and very deep Art of the Cut column and put it into book form with interviews categorized by subject matter.
The Cool Stuff in Premiere Pro: Learn advanced editing techniques to dramatically speed up your workflow
The other is what can be deemed the definitive bible for Adobe Premiere Pro. Jarle Leirpoll has expanded this second editing of the book to over 1000 pages with a team of writers. It goes very deep into Premiere and even seasoned editors like myself can learn something from it.
In The Blink Of An Eye is still a classic by editor Walter Murch. It’s short, cheap ($12 on Amazon) and an easy read filled with great editing theory and discussion. I’m re-reading again for an editing class I’m teaching in the Spring and I was reminded of how much good stuff is in this classic.
1,000 Graphic Elements: Details for Distinctive Designs. This is an interesting book that I often use as inspiration when I need to do some kind of design work. It’s really just a big picture book and while the book linked above is one I bought years ago any good design book is nice when you need inspiration. And add coffee table books to that list. While they aren’t great practical books they can be great as a pause when you need some time away from the screen.
Why do I mention printed books again? Because the joy of reading a printed book is real and for editors who have to stare at glowing screens all day learning from a printed book can be a real joy. Any editor would appreciate these books. But if you’re buying for an Avid or FCPX editor they might not get much out of the Premiere book!
Things to get an editor 1. a puppy 2. good bourbon (or beverage of choice) 3. a lottery ticket 4. sunglasses (because we all need to get out more!)

Description
Longlisted for the National Book Award for Young People's Literature! From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Shatter Me series comes a powerful, heartrending contemporary novel about fear, first love, and the devastating impact of prejudice. This young adult novel is an excellent choice for accelerated tween readers in grades 7 to 8, especially during homeschooling. It’s a fun way to keep your child entertained and engaged while not in the classroom. It’s 2002, a year after 9/11. It’s an extremely turbulent time politically, but especially so for someone like Shirin, a sixteen-year-old Muslim girl who’s tired of being stereotyped. Shirin is never surprised by how horrible people can be. She’s tired of the rude stares, the degrading comments—even the physical violence—she endures as a result of her race, her religion, and the hijab she wears every day. So she’s built up protective walls and refuses to let anyone close enough to hurt her. Instead, she drowns her frustrations in music and spends her afternoons break-dancing with her brother. But then she meets Ocean James. He’s the first person in forever who really seems to want to get to know Shirin. It terrifies her—they seem to come from two irreconcilable worlds—and Shirin has had her guard up for so long that she’s not sure she’ll ever be able to let it down.

[Buy]

[Buy]
