Realm Launches Apex’s First Solo Queue League in April
With its greatest player count since its introduction, Apex Legends enters Season 16. As more players become interested in the competitive aspect of Apex, the Ranked playlist also keeps breaking records with the points needed to reach Predator. The top players on the online ladder may now compete in a new competition that aims to create the most competitive atmosphere imaginable. Realm, an automated matchmaking service, tweeted the details of a new official seasonal league, which seeks to tailor the traditional ranked ladder into a more competitive experience, using the solo queue format for all players competing. https://twitter.com/therealm_gg/status/1632446372208320513 The season will run for three months, starting on April 1, with signups starting in the middle of March. To qualify, players in North America must be the rank of Predator or above, while EMEA must be Masters or above. Realm’s SoloQ League will include different tiers for lower Elo players, with their own set of prizing and season finals. Additional information concerning the ruleset and tournament structure will be announced in Realm’s Pro League Discord server. The arrival of a new alternative to the traditional ranked ladder has been met with wide positive reception, with the recent rise of cheaters negatively affecting the gameplay of pros and content creators alike. Season 16’s ranked experience has been plagued with new documented hacks, taking full control of the firing and reloading of players’ guns, leaving them disadvantaged in what should be a serious and competitive match. With Realm’s private matchmaking network, all players can compete in a safe environment, with additional measures for keeping cheaters out of the league. Players who wish to enter must pass additional qualifications stated in Realm’s discord rules, including additional security measures such as account linkage to their website and past recorded results in the Challengers Cup or Pro League Qualifiers. Despite the worries for their future and sustainability, Realm has confirmed the full support of Respawn and EA for the league. Set alongside Split Two of the ALGS, all Realm competition days will differ from any ALGS or Challengers Cup dates. EMEA matches will run from 2-8pm CET, with NA afterward from 2-8pm EST. https://twitter.com/TeqAPEX/status/1631707460225335303 Many pros and content creators have already voiced high praise for Realm’s involvement in Apex, with their recent pre-season finals featuring a captain draft format and a $10,000 prize pool, involving several ALGS partnered orgs such as EMEA’s Element 6 and Fire Beavers. All future Realm SoloQ League tournament matches can be viewed on their official Twitch channel. Realm’s website also features live-updated stats and leaderboards for their events, with plans for additional Apex leagues and expansion into CoD Warzone and Fortnite. Read the full article

Chess was Kaiba’s main obsession, before/alongside Duel Monsters. He is a chess Grandmaster, a title he achieved around age 16. He stopped playing seriously shortly after that, focusing on Duel Monsters, running his company, and inexplicably attending high school.
He still loves the game, even if he finds Duel Monsters to be more thrilling, which is why he still collects chessboards to this day. It’s an odd pile of refined, expensive chess sets (made of marble, rare wood, frosted glass, etc.) and geeky novelty ones. (Yes, of course he’s commissioned a Duel Monsters themed one. It’s his favorite.)
#Idk enough about chess to know what a good ELO for him would be#Somewhere in the 2600s??#I gotta make an outline of events in Kaiba's life to make sure the ages line up#Him attending high school still throws me#\\\ Screw the canon I have HCs (Headcanons)#\\\ Queue Eyes White Dragon

punishing his bimbo!girlfriend 18+ // streamer!chifuyu x bimbo!reader
cw: nudity, sex, swearing, bimbofication!
summary: bimbo girlfriend accidentally ruins poor boyfriends stream.
a/n: reuploaded because I didn’t see my errors. T-T
It was one of those nights where Chifuyu was playing overwatch with his two friends, Baji and Kazutora. Turning on his stream so that his viewers could watch him playing in high 4400 elo lobbies and see him carry each game on dps.
With how the games were going he couldn’t afford to focus on anything else, I mean how could he? He had Baji screaming in his ear about a flanking hog and how “nobody ever pays attention to the that fucking hog in the background.” and Kazutora screaming at the poor little Mercy main in chat saying to heal him, calling her all types of names like “boosted whore” and “shitty one trick.”
Poor Chifuyu, he couldn’t even check his chat to see what they were saying because he was so stressed trying to win. It was the last round on Nepal, both teams fighting for the point in overtime. All it took was one team wipe and Chifuyu’s team would win.
The enemy team only had a Mei and Ana contesting the point meanwhile it was him on Mccree, Kazutora on Reinhardt, and the Mercy on point. “Easy win.” he mused. Pushing his mic closer to his face he tells Kazutora to ult them after he stuns them, which he does winning them the game.
With that Chifuyu’s chat goes crazy, spamming the chat with praises on his great plays, “poggers”, “pogchamps” and what ever other annoying twitch emotes you could think of. “Damn that game was stressful, I knew we weren’t gonna lose but damn, that took longer than it needed to just to kill a Mei.” Chifuyu says to the boys. “Yea, tell me about it, that mercy fucking sucked. She was so far up yours and Baji’s asses, she didn’t heal me at all! I don’t know who boosted her to masters but i’m avoiding the fuck out of her.” Kazutora complained to which Baji laughed and replied “You can’t be mad at her for pocketing the carries, you think if I carry her to grandmaster she’ll send me nudes?” He joked.
Chifuyu coughed a bit clearing his throat, “Ok, ok guys, lets keep it pg here, i’m streaming. Queue up again.” he interrupted hoping Baji would get the hint and not go into details further.
Hoping out the shower, you dry your body off, doing your night routine soon after. Before leaving the bathroom you call out for Chifuyu to see what he was up to. “Chifuyu, baaaaaby~” you call out loud enough for him to hear you.
No response.
You call out for him again and still, no response.
Instead of putting clothes on you decided just to wrap your towel around you, and exit. Making your way to your boyfriend’s room to see why he’s not answering. Before you could open his door, yelling could be heard and the sounds of him banging his finger against the keyboard could be heard. Along with two other voices you easily recognized and Kazutora and Baji.
Quietly, you open his door and to your dismay. There he was, sitting in his black and blue gaming chair, staring into the large monitor in front of him. “Fuyuuuuu~” you say once more hoping to get a reply. “Not right now, babe. I’m in the middle of a comp match.” you roll your eyes in annoyance now that you know where all the attention you should be getting went to, but then suddenly and idea popped up inside your head.
Smirking to yourself you drop the poorly wrapped towel from off your body, and make your way towards your boyfriend. Unbeknownst to you, you were in line of sight of his camera. The view his chat had was amazing, your round perky breasts, and pretty pussy in full display for his stream. Before poor Chifuyu could notice what was going on, the chat was going wild. Spamming all different types of praises about your sexy body.
The moderators did the best they could to control the chat, timing out and banning whoever they had to. However it wasn’t enough, too many people, too little mods. It wasn’t until Baji yelled into the mic, “HOLY SHIT, CHIFUYU YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS SO FUCKING HOT!” To which even Kazutora had to agree, “Just one chance, y/n” he begged. Chifuyu was so confused until he turned around and there you were, completely nude and on full display for everyone to see. Shrieking he throws himself over the camera in panic.“HOLY FUCK, WHY ARE YOU NAKED?!” Still shrieking while trying to disconnect the camera. “I-I’m so sorry guys, but I have to end the stream.” He apologizes and says his goodbyes before turning off the stream.
Throwing off his headset, he turns and glares at you. Oh boy he was mad, you can feel the angry radiating off him making you feel small in the process. “What do you think you’re doing?” He snaps, getting up from his spot on his gaming chair and making his way towards you. “M’ sorry, I just wanted your attention.” you mumble out avoiding his gaze.
Letting out an annoyed sigh Chifuyu wraps his arms around your smaller body holding you close against his chest. “Get on the bed, and spread your legs.” He ordered, to which you happily obliged finally getting the attention you were seeking. You bounced your way over to the bed, but not before wiggling your ass a little with each step. Laying yourself upon the soft bed, you eagerly await your boyfriends next command.
“Pleasure yourself.” he says, “huh?” You look at him with a confused look upon your face, lips pushed up in a pout. Chifuyu rolled his eyes at your expression before saying “After what you pulled earlier embarrassing me on stream, do you really think you deserve my touch right now?” You let out a huff of annoyance, before you reluctantly do what you’re told.
Spreading your long legs, you move one of your hands slowly down towards your cunt while the you use the other one to prop yourself up a little. You slowly spread your lips for him ,giving him a clear view of your cunt and how needy it is for his touch. Without a further doubt, you slowly work two fingers into your drooling cunt, teasing and massaging your velvety walls. You manage to sneak a third finger inside, however it wasn’t enough.
Your fingers aren’t as thick and long as his, they don’t reach that special spot. Even with you occasionally curving them up. You let out a frustrated groan, moving your thumb up to your clit and circling it around in a fast motion. Tears start to swell in your eyes, facing become red with annoyance. It still wasn’t enough for you to cum. You turn your head towards Chifuyu to look up at him and beg for his touch, batting your eyelashes the best you could.
Chifuyu lets out a sigh, before letting his eyes soften at your gaze and making his way in between your thighs. In no time, Chifuyu’s thick, long fingers end up filling your desperate cunt. Sending you into the orgasm you’ve been so desperately trying to seek.
“Feel better, baby?” You nod your head, sniffling a bit. Chifuyu’s lets out a small chuckle, god he was so weak to you. “Good because we’re not done yet. Turn around, face down ass up on the bed.” You eagerly nod your head, and do as he says. Not wasting any time you flip yourself around so that your on your hands and knees, back arched so that your plump ass is up in the air and your pretty face is pressed against a pillow.
After discarding his clothes, Chifuyu gives his thick, girthy cock and few pumps before getting on top of you and aligning it with your drooling pussy. Pushing himself in at a slow and agonizing pace. “Fuyu, please!!” You squeal, getting the message, he grabs onto your hips with enough force thats sure to leave a few bruises. Then proceeds to slam himself into you at an inhumane pace.
You feel so hot and full. Your boyfriend might be a nerd but he sure does know how to use his fat cock. It shows, especially now with how hes hitting that sweetest spot inside you.
Moving your hand towards your clit, you rub furious circles into it and you let out loud shameless moans. “Fuyu, i’m so close!!” You sob out, Chifuyu picks up his pace balls slapping against your ass in the process. He can feel your velvety walls start to flutter and squeeze around him. All it takes is one final slam that has you spasming around his cock.
Chifuyu pulls out after you finish. Jerking his cock above your plump ass, spurting thick ribbons of white semen all over it, and smearing it with his hands.
Rolling off you and onto the side next to you, Chifuyu glances at your collasped and exhausted form. Watching as you try to catch your breath, he whispers out a soft “I love you.” Before wrapping his arms around your form and pulling you into his chest.

So I was playing solo queue with a friend and our jungler was Janna. Except, she quite literally had 8.9 million mastery points on the character. Note, my account is level 50. So I'm there thinking after the game ends "is it normal for high elo players to have 8 million mastery points on their characters?" But then I realized no. So I looked up the player and it turns out I ran into the guy who literally holds the record for highest number of Janna mastery points out of any league account on any server. What the fuck?

Is the only value seen in continued player engagement "we expect X% people to participate in ongoing monetization" or are there other factors that indicate to investors how a high active player count is good for business?
There are many good reasons why we want to keep players playing, even those who haven’t (yet) monetized.
First, converting an existing free player to a paying player is far easier (and cheaper) than acquiring new users. New user acquisition is incredibly expensive today; getting new players to buy or download your game faces incredibly fierce competition which drives enormous marketing costs just so that players who haven’t tried our product might give it consideration between the other competing games coming out this month.
The longer people play, the more likely they are to engage in monetization. I personally didn’t monetize Pokemon Go for over a year while playing it regularly. I and my partner both eventually spent on it. From a user perspective, it made a lot of sense - “I’ve been playing this game for a year and I’ve been having fun with it, I should kick them a few bucks at the very least” is a much more persuasive argument than “I just started this game and they are demanding my money already, ew”. Just because a player is (still) not a paying player doesn’t mean they never will be. We probably just haven’t found the right thing to offer them at the right price point yet.
Beyond just monetization, however, exist the intangible benefits of having a sufficiently large player base. If we build the game right, the players will provide content for each other. Somebody needs to populate the auction house with things you want to buy, buy the things you want to sell, and keep the economy going. Somebody has to craft the things you want. Somebody needs to fill out your team and the opposing team so you can have a match. Somebody needs to join your dungeon/raid group. Somebody needs to be in ranked queue so that you can improve your ELO score. Somebody needs to create additional content for the game to foster a real sense of community - fan-arting, theorycrafting, RPing, mod-making, cosplaying, streaming, blogging, youtubing, and so on.
Having a healthy and self-sustaining community allows us to spend our resources more on content creation and user retention than it does on user acquisition. If we can’t maintain critical mass in our community size, the game becomes a ghost town and even the paying players will leave. Nobody wants to keep playing a dead game, even if they’ve spent on it before.

Overwatch Tip: Competitive Mode Advice For Beginners
Speaking of competitive mode...
I often get asked when I stream about tips on what to do when playing solo. I see a lot of people say they just plain stopped because it’s too stressful or they experience the same things they see me experience (when I bother streaming it) in low ranks. It doesn’t stop me, though, and I don’t think it should stop others either.
Here’s a bit of advice and encouragement:
1. Ranked is not for everyone. You either like the competition, and have the mindset for it, or you don’t. If you’re not having fun, and/or absolutely hate losing to the point that it causes you anxiety and stress, I recommend taking a break from comp mode and playing another mode, or another game. There’s nothing wrong with that. Competition should be fun and you should go into it with confidence and humility, so try it again when you feel ready.
2. Practice, practice, practice. If you want to see improvement in your ability, play consistently! Watch how higher rank players play, read their guides, post in forums/discords for advice. Get your VODs reviewed. An important skill to have in competition is to be aware of, notice, and own your strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly, remember you are never done learning.
3. Be a good sport. Read up on ‘the pygmalion effect’ - which essentially is a phenomenon where, if you’re surrounded by people who give good vibes, you are likely to perform better and have more synergy. It puts you in a positive mindset and believe me, it works. Matches where all my teammates and opponents are in good moods and sincere about their compliments always end better, and even if I’m on the losing side, I still have a sense of satisfaction because it was a mutually friendly game. It feels like I lost fair and square, and I want to congratulate the opponents and praise my team for putting in their best efforts.
Likewise, though, if you’re surrounded by bad vibes and pessimistic teammates, or rude opponents, you are likely to perform worse - though, paradoxically, there are occasions where the adversity makes you want to do better and it has the opposite effect. The thing is that doesn’t rub off on all six teammates, and you need everyone’s cooperation, so that’s meaningless in a lot of situations. I’ve had matches where I’m so tilted by my teammates’ pessimistic comments, I see no point in trying, and put in much less effort into those matches. I want to get out of them as fast as possible, even if it costs me the win. Why bother if I need my team’s cooperation, and my Ana just promised she was done healing one of the DPS because they won’t switch?
In other words, sometimes it’s not about winning or losing, but the sportsmanship between the players, that makes a comp match enjoyable.
4. Report bad behavior. This is a huge one. If you want more fair, positive games, report those who are disrupting that. Make sure to explain why you made the report. For example, if someone appears to be uncooperative, admits to throwing on purpose, or claims they’re ‘deranking’, that’s gameplay sabotage. If they use racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or otherwise rude and inappropriate language, that is abusive chat - specifying that it’s any of the above in the report helps raise its priority, so don’t forget to do so. (Those are the two most common offenses and usually the only two I ever see, and I try to report them whenever I can)
Another one I get a lot is spam - sometimes, after matches, rude players (and sometimes entire groups) send me tons of friend requests at once and it disrupts my ability to type in chat, because accidentally hitting the Y key will accept the request, then they blow up my whispers with more rude messages until I can unfriend/block them. That’s an example of spam. You can block these players, then report them, because they probably do this often.
Blizz mods can see and hear everything that goes on and will act upon reports as necessary, whether the player is suspended/banned from comp mode, blocked from typing in chat, or just banned from the game altogether. They even thank you for the reports!
Our lord and savior, Jeff Kaplan, wants games to be as fair and enjoyable for everyone as they can possibly be(or so he says), and reports help the mods take out the trash.
5. Your rank is not an accurate measurement of your true skill. Some people trapped in the Silver or Gold rank are actually skilled enough to be on a team with Diamond or Master players, but get mistaken for smurfs because they haven’t finished climbing to their rightful rank. Some players (like me) play for years, but can’t climb out of their rank alone because factors other than the game itself cause difficulties - whether it be irl issues, inconsistent playing, or ending up on a team without synergy. Solo queue is very unfair to all six players almost half of the time.
The truth is the elo scale becomes a meaningless system when the playerbase becomes so drowned out by players who either don’t take their matches seriously, or actively disrupt them. It becomes easy to get trapped in what they like to call ‘elo hell’. This is to say that you shouldn’t be discouraged if it takes you a while to climb alone, because there are more things working against an average player than it seems - after all, you have to compete with millions of players of highly varying skill levels in the rank you might be in.
For some perspective, check this article out about the percentages of players in each rank. It doesn’t validate what I said above, but it helps to see the numbers with that context in mind. Don’t give up or let your SR get you down!
On that note, experience doesn’t equal skill. As someone with 2000+ hours of experience, I often get bullied because I have a ‘plat border’ but I fluctuate in rank between silver and gold. If you have thousands of hours, you’ve probably heard something like ‘lol ur a gold/plat/diamond border, what r u doing in this rank, obviously u suck’. They’re implying that every single player with that much experience should be masters or GMs.... and that’s honestly comedic. Everyone learns and improves at different paces. Don’t let that eboy get you down because you haven’t reached your fullest potential - and even if your potential isn’t that high a rank, just consider how irrelevant that number or rank is because the bottom line is when you play solo, you’re playing with 5 unpredictable strangers, and you can’t always control the outcome of that.
Uhhhh -twirls hair- I think that’s all for now, but I hope that’s substantial and makes even one person reading it feel a little encouraged.
Thanks for reading! (I have more guides btw, like outdated Zarya guides and stuff about mouse dpi)

League Of Legends Ranked Divisions In Time 9
League Of Legends has a lively queue where players could scale the ladder ranked system. As opposed to using a simple number Riot have opted to utilize a platform where players may easily see their progress. This badge is also known as a branch and explaining how you are able to be encouraged and demoted as well as this short informative article requires a look whatsoever the branches currently accessible League of Legends.
As of this start of the League Of Legends year, rated play in LOL is divided into the next 9 championships:
Iron
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Diamond
Master
Grandmaster
Challenger
In Time 9, all of leagues will likely be tiered into four divisions, instead of five (I, II, III, IV -- with IV being the smallest and that I being the highest. ) Iron is much worse than Environmentally, we aren't sure, however, we still think Riot overlooked an chance to add the'wood' division! Our lol elo boost are employed just after a strict choice approach. We screen all of elements of these being a new player, maybe perhaps not limited by merely their ability nevertheless we additionally sure we seek the services of boosters with the ideal working attitudes.
That they profit League factors, also called LP as players win games. The quantity of LP won each game is dependent on your own Match Earning Rating and varies from player to player, or MMR. Upon reaching a hundred LP in a particular branch, gamers enter a promotion series, at which they need to win most in their matches to establish they belong in a higher division.
If a new player loses a match, then they will shed LP. Andif they keep on to reduce, they will reach zero LP. If their MMR is too low to get their current branch Within this scenario, a player could possibly be demoted.
Pro-motion series to a Greater branch
Players have to win 2 out of 3, or 66 percent, of their matches.
In the event the participant fails that the promotion collection, they could eliminate an sum of LP that varies depending upon the games' end result.
Slimming down the first two games at a succession will result in the LP loss.
In the event the lol gamer wins their promotion show without reduction, also has an MMR more compared to their division, they may bypass a branch (e. g. Gold plateau to Gold III).
Pro Motion show to some league
Players must win 3 out of 5, or 60%, of their matches to progress .
LP reduction for discarding the advertising show follows the very same guidelines as promotion to a greater branch.
Players having a high MMR could be marketed right to a division higher than V (e. g. Gold I àPlatinum III).
Promotion to Challenger
Layers in the grand-master Tier must be in the top 200 ranked gamers onto the host in terms of LP.
Every 24 hours at midnight rated people will likely probably be encouraged to Challenger.
One other Challenger gamers away from the top 200 in terms of LP will be demoted to Master Tier.
Master Grade
Master Tier is actually a little unique to the rest of the leagues, as it doesn't possess branches but alternatively will be centered upon an LP ladder. Participants in Master Tier that ranking one of the best 200 people get promoted to Challenger when every 24 hours, even substituting the Challenger gamers with much significantly less LP compared to those. That is no limit on the range of people in Master Tier, including Challenger that's a200 player cap.
Grandmaster Tier
If you have achieved this grade then give yourself a pat on your rear -- you endure a reasonable probability to be picked by means of a E-Sports staff! The gamer cap still holds true why the people is minimal. , of course, should you'd like to hit Challenger, you've got an climb ahead of you.
Challenger Tier
Challenger Tier includes the top of their best at League Of Legends. Nearly all players at Challenger play pro eSports teams or are well known streamers/personalities. Some expert players have accounts in Challenger. A person cap was in Challenger of 200 -- any players who standing outside the very best 200 at midnight every day will likely be relegated into understand Tier.
Wooden V
Wooden V is really just a league referred to by lots of gamers. Suggesting some one belongs in Wood V is to say they are therefore bad they would be below the grade of Iron V. Therefore there you have it, a very simple review to the League of both divisions and Legends leagues in Season 5.

munchkins “how to raise your sr” stream is great
so far the important things he said are:
1. be good (the most important thing)
2. he had high sr since the start so he doesn’t know if his tips are helpful in silver/gold/etc because he has never been in low elos (#cantrelatetoyouplebsinplat)
3. gido can’t raise his sr because his aim is bad, he could use his tips
4. don’t queue with jehong you’ll lose

So I depression quit overwatch for a while and since then updates changed how well my mains work (Dva and Moira) and now I'm stuck not knowing what characters to use and constantly loosing bc people at my level are used to it already, it's becoming stupidly frustrating. Got any advice on character selection and how to get gud again? ;3;
if you’re talking about comp it depends on what elo but bc of GOATS, sub-GM has been more or less the same ...... i usually play low plat to high dia depending on the SR of who i’m queueing with
the current meta is GOATS (rein, zarya, d.va, brig, zen, lucio) bc those heroes synergise well together but this comp is virtually nonexistent below high GM. bunker is more prominent in lower tiers (orisa, usually with bap, mercy, hog, DPS) but classic 2-2-2 is still the name of the game (2 tanks, heals, DPS) everywhere. the key is that some heroes work together better than others. with many people watching OWL (and GM player streams), concepts and strats that used to be more reserved for the high tier trickle down to the community quickly.
orisa: surprisingly(?) being used more especially in bunker comps where everyone huddles behind her shield and sticks together. i’m more of a rein person but she works better in low ELOs than rein since she requires less team support to play. if you’re plat or below and want to learn a MT, she’s a good pick. (OT pair: roadhog)
rein: idk how rein mains do it but they’re masochists. he gets bopped around and requires a lot of team support so it’s easier to play him when people actually support you. you’d think people would follow the big blue rectangle, but.. (OT pair: zarya)
winston: his mobility makes playing him less painful than rein. the mechanics of his ult make his skill ceiling surprisingly high (look up pro winston juggles, they’re nuts) but i have fun playing him so i think he’s fun. like rein though you might suffer more in low ELOs where you lack support (OT pair: d.va)
ball: welcome to the SHITSHOW. you play him like a flanker so there’s plenty of disruption you can do, run in, knock people around, roll back out. hit or miss (usually miss) in terms of getting value with him until you’re actually good (the most prominent comp involving him actually involves 4 DPS and mercy, but he works well with d.va and winston since they all have mobility)
hog: self-sufficient but also an ult battery for the enemy team. still just a big dps, not very good right now though he pairs well with orisa (MT pair: orisa)
d.va: god tier, basically meta proof. idk when you last played but it doesn’t really matter bc she’s still OP & can still be played in many situations. between missiles and no reload, she can do a lot more DPS + shield bust than ppl expect, plus she can reposition frequently. DM is still OP, you just have to time it more mindfully than before. (MT pair: winston)
zarya: i fuckin love zarya. so much DPS at high charge, and well-timed bubbles can make for the most clutch plays. requires more aim ability than dva/hog imo (MT pair: rein)
ana: very good if you can play her well. if your team isn’t running GOATS (and if you’re not in GM you should almost certainly not even be trying to run GOATS), she’s a much better + useful main heal than mercy or moira thanks to high utility
baptiste: works well with bunker comps, otherwise not impressive but not terrible either if you remember you have to heal. i’ve only played with one really good bap so far personally.
brig: tends not to do enough healing with just one other healer, but effectiveness depends on your team and the enemy’s comp. you can do a lot with her and a 4 year old could play her but pharah for example destroys her
lucio: good. better on attack. his ult is very useful, and booping players away/out of position is more powerful than you might expect
mercy: better in lower ELOs, pairs well with pharah. rez is still useful. works well when your team is spread out, especially if they’re on high + low ground so you can fly around and stay alive. works with bunker comp
moira: i like her less as a main heal than mercy but she has her uses. works better with a team that sticks together and/or is very tanky and needs a lot of healing. diamond and above though i’d never choose her over ana
zen: great especially if you can aim. he can do it all, really. probly the best ult in the game.
ashe, mccree, s76: s76 is solid and very forgiving. imo mccree is better but requires better aim, also flash is useful af. ashe is okay, good against bunker comps since you can toss dynamite into the entire enemy team and farm ult.
widow, hanzo: widow is more map-dependent whereas hanzo can be played anywhere. both require good aim to get full value out of but hanzo is easier thanks to storm arrow
tracer: she’s okay. she’s the highest skill ceiling hero being VERY aim and gamesense dependent but against a soft comp, esp one without a brig/mccree, she can do a lot of work
reaper: mostly sucks in higher tiers, okay or good in lower tiers depending on how shitty the enemy team is at countering you. sometimes you can walk in and shoot and they just let it happen
sombra: good if you can play her - you can deny the enemy team of abilities at crucial times, combo EMP with many ults, pick off healers and squishies, etc. but a bad sombra is not doing anything ever
doom: not bad but also pretty hit or miss. you need to learn doom-specific strats and rollouts to play him well though
genji: sucks right now
junk, pharah: okay in lower ELOs. pharah can do a lot with a pocket but is easily countered when people can aim
mei: good if you can play her
torb: surprisingly good right now but i don’t endorse playing torb
symm, bastion: meh. can be strong if your team works around you
as for how to improve it depends on what you need to improve on. sometimes people don’t know what they have to work on (gamesense, positioning, timing, ability usage, etc) so if you’re serious about improving then record your gameplay and review your VODs to catch mistakes (or get someone else to review them). otherwise just be mindful while you play and constantly ask yourself if you’re making the best decisions, standing in the optimal spot, what you did wrong, why you died, etc.
if you want to improve aim or a specific DPS hero, check out FFA lobbies in the custom game browser. there are widow HS only lobbies as well for widow practice. healers and tanks require non-mechanical skills in a different way from most DPS, so improving on them = playing the game more. or you can look up tip videos on youtube since people are constantly churning those out

Ok I might have found a new main - and just had the most unfair games in my life. Not wanting to try stuff in ranked I took on flex-queue. Where I am SILVER, as opposed to my SoloQ Platinum. So after some testing I setteled on Ahri as a new midlaner as her pattern kind of suits me, but the games were just... so absurdly unbalanced, especially in my own lane. I was playing with a completly unfamiliar champion and with not very reliable teammates (you’d be amazed how much stuff people just MISS in silver as opposed to Plat), and it was... just a stomp. 30+ Cs difference at 12 mins, almost all tower plates from the enemy taken, none lost...
And I was not even trying hard, I was testing out this new champion!
They need to tie Normals/Ranked/Flex together somehow for matchmaking purposes. You can’t have a Platinum player jump into a match and then get to stomp a Bronzie, that’s just not how it should be. The low guy never had a chance and while I was happy I could get some testing done these games were just... lame. It’s not a competition when the enemy never had a chance...
Seriously how can people even do this as a main thing with smurfing? How can you not get bored out of your mind? Or absurdly frustated when you actually want to climb but your team is just not as reliable as you are used to in high elo? I guess I’ll never understand this whole smurfing thing...
(Also yes I am back at league, turns out three hours of gym do wonders for the mood... Maybe Ahri is actually viable as opposed to all my other champs what do I know lol...)
#League of Legends#Ahri plays a lot similiar to Soraka in the fact that she has a highly volatile turnaround-point#you can kite kite kite all day and when they bring something dangerous you jump them with the ult#dodge the danger and go straight into attack mode#Soraka does this with E and Ult Ahri with Ult and Charm in both cases the Q is the kite spell
