Feel free to add examples in the replies if you know of any other Manga/Anime creators who have made comments or done things implying they support the LGBT community and I’ll add them to the OP (note this moreso applies to assumed heterosexual creators or creators who have not stated their personal sexuality rather than out gay creators, basically it’s an Ally list)

Kunihiko ikuhara: vehemently hates straight romance and is pushing for more and gayer romance in manga and anime

hiro mashima: deleted an offensive character in his own manga and replaced him with a more positive gay coded one

Satoru Noda: reads Bara and his manga is incredibly homoerotic

Hirohiko Araki: see Satoru Noda

Yoshihiro Togashi: has made multiple attempts to make a manga with a gay protagonist and has basically called out his publishers as homophobes for not letting hin

Hiroyuki Takei: included a Gay romance arc in his collab manga with Stan lee(that stan lee had himself alan smithee’d off of because he was a homophobe) and has a canon trans man character in Shaman King’s spin offs

Atsushi Ohkubo: became aware that Fire Force had a large gay male fanbase and started adding more fanservice of the male characters specifically for that side fanbase, has also made many comments implying other progressive personal views (and calling out other mangakas for the racist way they depict black characters)

shirahama kamome: her Manga Witch hat Atelier has several openly LGBT characters

katsura hoshino: her mangas have very heavy LGBT subtext/text and I’m told some actual canon LGBT rep Tatsuki Fujimoto: his manga prior to Chainsaw man had a trans masc character

Ultimately, what shows they have matter most on a Streaming platform (unless prohibitively expensive), and Crunchyroll does have the most anime that I care about out of everything.

I just looked at HiDive's release schedule on their site, however, and I was able to choose which language releases to display. I could separately specify languages both spoken and subtitled.

This is an excellent feature that makes it easy to find what I'm looking for, and one could reasonably argue it is basic, necessary functionality for an anime release schedule.

Meanwhile, the Crunchyroll release schedule is letting me know that That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime is getting a new episode of the Castilian dub.

While this is excellent news for slime fans who speaks Castilian, and I wish them an enjoyable dub-watching experience, this is completely useless information for me personally, obscures information I could actually use, and I have no means of excluding it from the calendar.

The description of Gushing Over Magical Girls had me thinking it'd be a cute series focused on the villainess.

It is. But it's also largely an excuse for lesbian bdsm, which if that's what you're into give it a watch.

SPRING ANIME

🌸 **Spring Season Anime Update** 🌸

With the Spring season of anime officially underway, I have started to watch 3 new anime and a 3rd season for the other, totaling 4 anime being watched…so far. 

Let’s talk about it, **That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime** or TenSura, released a recap episode which made me very annoyed and a little disappointed, but I saw it through and it was a good refresher…I guess… I am looking forward to next week. 🐉📺

I watched the opening episodes for three new anime, and I will give a very quick first impression synopsis, without a rating.

The first anime is **Re: Monster**, I must admit I was captured by this anime from the trailer that was released. I was hoping it wouldn’t be anything like **Re: Zero** (sorry, this just wasn’t the anime for me). Episode one was great, they hooked the audience with a great balance of knowing how the MC powers work, combat, and it gave you an idea of where this anime can go and the potential. I like it because they are using a goblin as the MC, because goblins don’t have a great rep in anime. It reminds me of TenSura (I know bold statement). I look forward to this anime. 🐾🔥

**I Reincarnated as the Seventh Prince** reminds me of **The 8th Son, Are You Kidding Me?** Though the story is different as well as the motivation of the MC, these two anime are similar, and  yes I will still watch it. 👑🔄

**Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases**, I believe is going to be like a couple anime with similar titles. I think this will still be worth the watch, depending on the story. Yes, I will be watching this one as well. 🦸‍♂️🏰
