Para los que no entienden/se quejan del formato narrativo de Gintama.

Es muy simple, si en los primeros episodios no te gusta el humor de Gintama, ahí es en donde lo tenés que dejar, nada del Cap 30, 50 o 100, ya que el humor es parte fundamental de Gintama sin ser del género de comedia o sí siendo parte de el ya que eso mismo es Gintama, el caos que tanto les molesta a algunos.

El humor en Gintama se usa para descomprimir, para dar un giro a la historia, para retomar en donde se dejó en algún momento, para introducir personajes que en un futuro tendrán un gran peso en el argumento o simple y sencillamente para hacer uso de su estructura narrativa para quejarse de la sociedad nipona, de como se manejan las empresas, del abuso de la industria (tanto de las casas animadoras como de las editoriales) para con sus trabajadores y del sistema impuesto de estructura de "como contar historias" en una revista como la Jump, entre tantas otras cosas más. 

En fin, el problema principal es que no saben mirar Gintama como un todo porque es más fácil ver o leer historias de molde. Gintama es una obra que tiene sus particularidades que pueden o no gustar, lógicamente, pero que su fortaleza fundamental es saber utilizar en su historia argumental todo eso que parece en un momento incoherente, y la cual se retroalimenta constantemente de esa comedia para darle así sentido a todos esos arcos que dicen que no tienen sentido, 

En conclusión, en Gintama nada es por nada y todo tiene que ver con todo, es así de simple, y siempre doy el ejemplo de Hedoro para recordar el porque es necesario no dejar nada colgado y prestarle atención a cualquier aparición, detalle o pequeña historia.

Gintama ships

I honestly think all Gintama ships are kinda ridiculous. I mean, Okita and Kagura do have an interesting relationship, but it’s more of a rivalry than a romance. And Gintoki and Tsukki or Gintoki and Sacchan is just kind of unrealistic. To me, all Gintama ships are crack ships. I like Gintama without any couples because of how funny it is! THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!

Let me assure you, even with as cliche setting, Gintama is really unique, exquisitely written and flawlessly executed. The story is unpredictable at most of the instances and the universe is limitless; anything can and does happen. Gintama doesn't know fatigue; it stays at a consistent, extremely high quality, with fresh new plot elements, scenarios and twists continually introduced and it just keeps getting better and better with each serious arc. Sorachi's marvellous creativity shines the most in his characters.
