I love how both Aya Ueto and Takizawa Hideaki, reprise the same roles they played in the taiga drama, Yoshitsune (2005)!

I've watched several shows about Yoshitsune, and still think Takizawa Hideaki is still the best actor to portray the character!

TACKEY & TSUBASA WILL ALWAYS BE THAT LOVE FOR ME

I was going through my external hard drive just now trying (and failing) to find things I could delete to make room and I found (one of) my folder(s) full of Tackey & Tsubasa videos, and oh, man. Oh man.

These two had my entire soul for over a decade. Like, back in 2007, my friend introduced me to the active J&A idols of the time and described Takizawa and Tsubasa as "the married couple." The above performance is from one of their tenth anniversary events in 2012, and like. Yeah, you'll see why.

I might have constructed the T&T to Thai BL pipeline for one person (me), but it makes perfect sense.

And like I told @hallowpen: compared to my T&T fan time, I have calmed down enormously. Takizawa and Tsubasa had and honestly still have the fondest place in my heart. I followed them for twelve years, went to an uncountable number of events and concerts and fanmeetings, downloaded every single thing I could find down to TV clips and news articles from the mid-90s, collected every single magazine clipping I could find, laminated my concert tickets, translated their interviews to practice Japanese, collected the gold coins from Takizawa's kabuki show in a little treasure chest, wore all kinds of winged jewelry because "Tsubasa" means "wings," etc.

So much of the joy in my twenties was thanks to them. The friendships I made in their fandom, the places I traveled to for their concerts, the memories I made cheering them on in their individual and joint careers, all of it.

Sometimes I wish I could tell them again how much they meant to me. I mean, I wrote them fan letters all the time, and I went to enough fanmeetings that they started to recognize me, so I'm sure they knew. But I have enough distance now to look back and really appreciate how lucky I was that they were the ones my heart chose. By everything I ever experienced in their fandom, they were so, so rare, and I hope they're both truly happy now.

I still miss them sometimes, but I'll always be grateful that they were active at the best possible time in my life.

EDIT: OH AND BY THE WAY!!! That performance up there? It was in Yokohama, and I went to the one the day before in Osaka. They were both "free" in the sense that if you bought their tenth anniversary album, you were entered into a lottery that got you tickets to these two concerts. They were so wildly kind to their fans. They even designed their tenth anniversary tour to perform in out-of-the-way places like Ehime and Shimane for their fans in the countryside because usually everyone had to travel to the big cities like Nagoya and Tokyo and Osaka. Like I'm serious when I say these two were absolutely lovely.

A1: Ừmmmmm.... Nếu thật sự rất thích người đó thì có lẽ tôi sẽ tiếp tục kiên trì.

Q2: Mối tình đầu của bạn là khi nào? Bạn còn nhớ chuyện lúc đó không?

A2: Chắc là lúc tôi còn học mẫu giáo. Về cơ bản thì hồi đó tôi là kiểu người sẽ yêu từ cái nhìn đầu tiên (cười). Tôi thích những người luôn nỗ lực hết mình, vậy nên tôi nghĩ mối tình đầu của mình cũng là người như thế đó.

Q3: Giấc mơ hồi nhỏ của bạn là gì?

A3: Hồi mẫu giáo, trong cột câu hỏi "Lớn lên em muốn làm gì?" tôi đã viết "Tackey" vào đó. Mẹ tôi thích Takizawa Hideaki-san nên từ nhỏ tôi đã được xem rất nhiều. Một phần do ảnh hưởng đó mà từ lúc bắt đầu nhớ được thì tôi đã nghĩ như vậy rồi.

Q4: Bạn nghĩ thế nào là một chàng trai tuyệt vời?

A4: Là chủ tịch của chúng tôi đó. Nam tính, hài hước, có năng lực và là người rất đáng tin cậy. Bất cứ khi nào nhìn thấy anh ấy, tôi luôn nghĩ anh ấy là một người đàn ông tuyệt vời. Có những việc mà đến bản thân tôi còn không chắc nó có đáng dành thời gian để lắng nghe hay không, và thậm chí cả những điều mà nếu là người khác thì có thể sẽ bỏ qua luôn, nhưng chủ tịch luôn cẩn thận lắng nghe và ghi nhớ từng thứ một. Anh ấy thực sự là một người tuyệt vời, và tôi nghĩ là không có nhiều người như vậy đâu.

Q5: Bí quyết làm đẹp của bạn là gì?

A5: Sữa rửa mặt có thể làm sạch đúng cách mà không cần rửa quá nhiều. Tôi sẽ dùng nó và cẩn thận gột rửa hết bụi bặm sau 1 ngày. Tôi còn nghe nói rửa sạch lại rất quan trọng nên tôi rửa lại khoảng hơn 20 lần. Tôi cũng đếm cả số lần nữa đó (cười).

Q6: Bạn sẽ thưởng gì cho bản thân sau khi nỗ lực?

A6: Đi suối nước nóng với bạn bè ạ. Không phải lần nào tôi cũng đi xa, nhưng dành cả một ngày đi ăn những món ngon và thư thả ngâm mình trong suối nước nóng sẽ là một phần thưởng khi tôi có thời gian.

Q7: Gần đây bạn có sở thích gì?

A7: Thử thách những điều mới mẻ. Tôi sẽ thử mua những món mới ở cửa hàng tiện lợi, hoặc gần đây hay đi uống cà phê thì tôi sẽ cố thử nhiều thứ đa dạng thay vì cứ theo một thực đơn cố định.

Q8: Món ăn sở trường của bạn là gì?

A8: Không có ạ! Tôi chắc chỉ nấu được cỡ cơm trứng chiên thôi. Bí quyết là trước tiên nghiêng bát đựng trứng và khuấy đều lòng trắng mà không làm vỡ lòng đỏ. Khi bắt đầu nổi bọt đến một mức nhất định thì trộn với lòng đỏ rồi ăn kèm nước tương chuyên dùng cho cơm trứng chiên. Thỉnh thoảng tôi sẽ thêm chút dầu ô liu hoặc dầu mè để thay đổi khẩu vị.

Q9: Màn hình chờ điện thoại của bạn là gì?

A9: Màn hình hiển thị thời tiết dễ hiểu được cài đặt theo bản tiêu chuẩn. Khi có giông bão thì tia sét sẽ hiển thị trên màn hình, rất tiện.

Q10: Hoài bão của bạn năm 2024 là gì?

A10: Dù mới debut chưa bao lâu nhưng chúng tôi đã có rất nhiều trải nghiệm, cả nhóm đã trải qua tháng ngày bận rộn mà đầy thú vị. Tôi mong mình sẽ luôn được thử thách những điều mới mẻ trong năm 2024. Tôi sẽ không mong cầu sự bình ổn mà tiếp tục đón nhận những thách thức mới, giữ nguyên tâm thế đó đối với công việc để gặp được thật nhiều điều thú vị.

Q11: Bạn mơ ước gì cho 10 năm sau?

A11: Tôi muốn thử thách với diễn xuất nữa. Cho tới nay, những vai diễn tôi đã từng thể hiện trong các bộ phim và kịch tuy đôi lúc thật khó khăn, nhưng đồng thời đó cũng là những kinh nghiệm thú vị. Đó là trải nghiệm khiến tôi nghĩ rằng nếu vượt qua được, tôi sẽ trưởng thành hơn và có thể gặp được phiên bản mới của mình. Tôi muốn trở thành một người có thể hoạt động tích cực cả trong lĩnh vực điện ảnh, vì cả nhóm và cũng vì bản thân tôi.

Changes that happened around me

I now appear in a lot of different places after being part of a variety show. I was able to bicker with a lot more people after meeting different celebrities and talents. The times when people say to me “I saw OO” have also increased, and the times when conversations start from that statement have also increased. Honestly, I don’t realize the changes that happen to me. Maybe the people around me notice and says “Miyadate, you’ve changed”. I feel like my adaptability supports me even if the environment around me changes.

Something that hasn’t changed at all since before

Though the things I want might have changed. They made my usual self interesting, which made me aware of my unwavering self. Those really made me think that I’m not on the wrong path. I think the time will come when I definitely have to evolve, so now it feels like I am preparing for that. Even in private, nothing has changed. In my human relationships, my values, and in the clothes I like. Thinking about it, I am a boring person (laughs).

A view or scene that moved you and is still engraved in your heart

There are a lot~. For example, the year when we inherited Takizawa Kabuki from Takizawa (Hideaki)-kun, the view when the curtains were raised on the first day of Takizawa Kabuki in Minami-za (theater in Kyoto). There were people in the audience who were crying. I was moved that there are people who are very happy that Snow Man became the main. Recently I saw a birthday flashmob on Youtube and cried. The celebrant didn’t know the people part of the mob but they seemed very happy. Seeing the scenery where people share the feeling of happiness and joy and the celebration of another person... really pierces my heart!

Daily conversations between members

I often see the scene where Raul teases Shota, and Shota says “Ha? You! Stop it!”. Doesn’t Raul feel more accomplished because Shota reacts properly? I watch it while thinking “They’re at it again-“, and “Being teased seems troublesome” (laughs). If you were to draw the 9 members of Snow Man in one picture, then I would be looking at everything from a bird’s eye view. Snow Man doesn’t have a central person, but it is a group where loud laughter can be heard in the center.

Recent Talk

Whenever I meet Jo (Fujiwara Joichiro) in recordings, I am baffled with having a conversation with just “Love It!”. Like “Love It!” “Love It?” “Love It (laughs)” (laughs). What is the correct way of doing that? We’ve become able to interact with each other after all; I want to have a proper conversation.
