Remember that time when I'm sulking about the ship that never made it canon on the main anime, this is it.

I really ship them right from the start. I don't have anything against yuri, in fact I sometimes really like it. But then I remember someone said:

"The childhood friend route is terrifying sometimes. It's so cliche but it's forcing me to ship it."

I was sad when the main anime showed too little interaction of them since I read somewhere that in the light novel(?) this ship is canon. But then we got this, I'm so so happy 😭

I know most fans don’t like Shuichi and I understand he was left out of the plot and we all know Hibike! is super gay and yay for that. But hear me out: I feel so bad for him, not because of Kumiko being clueless about his feelings, but for how the fans treat him. One big issue for Kumiko is her relationship with her sister and the one who was able to reunite them was him. He ask her everytime about how she is feeling, and then he talked to her sister. You can dislike his crush for Kumiko, but you can’t deny he does play an important part trought the plot and her life. so yes, I have your back, Shuichi.

How hibike! Euphonium became one of my favourite anime's of all time

When I first finished hibike! Euphonium I used to always say that my favourite anime's were: haikyuu , assassination classroom , hibike and my hero academia (those are all number 1 btw not listed) And I didn't realize then how hibike actually changed me and my life And how my life wouldn't be the same if I hadn't watched it , it was the reason why I know a lot about band and why I got a bit into classical music , especially the trumpet It was the main reason of how I got introduced to amazing people and such an amazing and hilarious group (trumpet squad) It inspired me to draw a lot more and get better at it from drawing my favourite characters of all time countless times (I swear I can draw kumiko and natsuki without references now that's how many times I drew them) As much as both haikyuu and hibike changed my life I don't think I'll ever replace them due to how much they changed me and my life and how they both introduced me into a lot of new stuff that I never cared about but now about a lot I'd like to thank ayano takeda and kyoani for this amazing anime that means so much to me

Kyoto Tower Hotel to Open Sound! Euphonium Collaboration Room on August 1

    Kyoto Tower Hotel, located in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, will start offering a collaboration room featuring Kyoto Animation's anime series Sound! Euphonium from August 1, 2021, limited to one room per day. This is the hotel's first collaboration plan with a popular anime series. The anime's story is set in Uji City in Kyoto Prefecture and the surrounding area, and the 131 meter-tall Kyoto Tower appeared in a scene from its TV series.

  This collaboration room is a concept room with the theme of "the records of the activities of The Kitauji High School Concert Band Club." The wall arts are decorated with newly drawn illustrations of the characters (Kumiko Oumae, Hazuki Kato, Sapphire Kawashima, Reina Kousaka, Shuichi Tsukamoto), selected scenes from the first to the latest episodes of the TV series, and handwritten messages from the successive presidents of the club and the protagonist, Kumiko Oumae.

  Also, visitors can find the "Competition Trophy" (from the TV anime first season - the Kansai area competition), the "Competition Certificates" (from the first season - the prefectural competition and the national competition), and Kitauji High's score cover, score stand, and school emblem in the room. And of course, the Blu-ray discs of the Sound! Euphonium TV anime and film series (including Liz and the Blue Bird), as well as a home projector, are available. 

  This twin room can accommodate one to three people, with rates starting at 12,000 yen (about 109 US dollars) per person for double occupancy. The first 300 guests will receive a clear file featuring a newly drawn key visual. Click here to make a reservation!
