Jeff is ideal for your dates and I feel like his personality would go great with his. I have a feeling that Jeff really likes tattoos so he likes tracing over yours. If you like broken humor he is definitely your man.

I'm in a field where I have to constantly produce good drawings, with big brain details, I know the kind of dedication and time that goes into it. I recently got a drawing tablet for my bday and I'm trying to learn how to work with it fluently. I have to decide what I want to do my post grad in soon as well, and I've been considering going into visualization, but it's vv confusing cause I have too many varied interests

Anyway, okay, so, there reason for my absence was not lack of internet or whatever. I was basically in too close for comfort bounds with my family and I didn't want to open this hellsite because godforbid they saw something they weren't supposed I'd be dammned 😂

“Shit,” DC muttered, shoving the last of his sandwich into his mouth. He had been trying to find his rash guard so that he could go to his silks class, but it hadn’t been put back with the rest of his gear, and then the doorbell started to ring. Throwing his duffel onto his shoulder and cutting his losses, DC swung the door open, only to find Remy staring back at him. “Shit.”

Remy scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Hello to you, too.”

If this were any other day, DC would have been fine to have a surprise visit from his boyfriend; however, there was a bit of a problem about Remy showing up right before he had to go to aerial silks. DC hadn’t actually told anyone about taking silks because he was embarrassed by it. So, really, the one person whose opinion he actually cared about had showed up just before he was supposed to leave to do a thing that could ruin his social career. That made it no longer fine.

“Earth to DC? I asked if you wanted to go out to lunch.”

“Sorry, sorry!” DC rushed, trying to get his thoughts together enough to think of a convincing lie. “I actually can’t, babe. I have gymnastics on Sunday afternoons. Didn’t I tell you that?”

“You had practice this morning, though. I saw it on Kyle’s snapchat story.” Remy cocked his head, frowning.

Shitshitshitshitshitshit—

“I’m cheating on you!” The words burst out of DC’s mouth before he could think, and both boys recoiled as though they’d been shocked.

“...What?”

Fix it, you dumbass!

“There’s a boy—” NOT LIKE THAT— “I tutor him. Alex. He kissed me, and I just… I don’t know, Rem, but we’ve been seeing each other in secret for a few weeks.”

In the few seconds of silence, it almost felt like the earth had come to a complete halt. Then, one by one, Remy’s next words tore their way into DC’s heart, and he was completely useless to stop them.

“I’m not going to waste my breath on a dick—”

Just fucking explain yourself!

“Like—”

You’re an idiot!

“You.”

Remy punctuated his sentence by turning on his heel and walking back to his car.

DC stared as the black SUV drove away and idly mumbled, “Shit.”

“Hello?”

“Virgil, I fucked up.”

A sweet laugh rang through the phone. “You’re gonna need to be a bit more specific.”

“I told Remy that I was cheating on him.”

“WHAT—” There was a loud crash, and two voices spouting swears. DC winced.

A muffled voice on Virgil’s side said, “I swear to fucking god, DC owes me twenty dollars for that mug. You used it half of a time! I’ll grab the broom.”

“Okay, love,” Virgil said to the person with him before addressing DC again. “You cheated on my cousin?! What the fu—”

“No! Virgil, no. I would never cheat on him.”

“Then why—”

“I panicked. I… I do aerial silks on Sunday afternoons, but I didn’t tell anyone because it’s embarrassing. And then Remy came over just as I was about to leave for class, and I tried to tell him that I have gymnastics on Sunday afternoons, but he saw that we’d already had practice that morning from one of my teammates, and I panicked and told him that I was cheating on him.” DC took a deep breath in a shitty attempt to calm himself down. “What am I supposed to do?”

Virgil was silent for a few seconds. “Well, Dee… You’ve gotta tell him the truth. I know that you don’t want to, and I get that you’re scared, but you know that he isn’t going to judge you for doing something that you love.”

“I know, but what if…”

“What if what?”

DC’s voice was barely a whisper. “What if he doesn’t forgive me for lying to him? What if I ruined us for good?”

“Then I can’t help you any more. Look, go apologize, okay? Call me when you’re done.”

“Okay. Bye.”

“Bye.”

Remy groaned as he put the lid back on his container of ice cream. He’d already put his pajamas on, and he was watching sad movies to really soak in the horrible things that he was feeling. But the door rang, and he had to get it.

On the opposite side of the threshold stood DC, who was fidgeting with his hands.

“Hell no,” Remy said. He swung the door shut, but it was stopped just before closing with a hollow thunk and a few choice words from DC, whose hand had been caught while he tried to catch the door.

“Rem, please. You have to listen to me—”

“I don’t have to listen to anyone,” he snarled, stepping out onto the porch and pressuring DC to take a step back. “Especially not selfish assholes who use me for two months, only to turn around and stab me. Get off of my porch, or I have a hockey stick just inside that has your name written all over it.”

DC squeaked—a noise that wasn’t very common from him. “I’m not cheating on you; I swear! Look, this is where I was going when you stopped by!” He held his phone out and played a short clip of himself doing aerial silk tricks. “I didn’t want you to find out because it’s embarrassing. Gymnastics can be written off as socially acceptable, but guys doing aerial silks… I didn’t want you to think poorly of me.”

“Are you fucking kidding me?” Remy said plainly. “You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.”

“I swear that I’m not.”

“Okay, so you’re telling me that you panicked and made up that you were cheating on me because you didn’t want me to find out you did aerial silks? You decided that fake-cheating on me was better than that?”

“Look, it was a spur of the moment decision, and it was a bad one. I’m not going to pretend that what I did was the right thing, but I needed to apologize to you.” It was silent for a few seconds, and DC’s face fell. “Cool. Yep. I’m going to go home. Bye.”

Before DC could turn and walk away, Remy pulled him in for a crushing hug. “You’re so stupid!” Remy sniffled, not caring that he was going to start crying. “Don’t fucking do that again, you dumb bitch. I’m never going to think less of you because you want to do something traditionally ‘feminine.’ God, you’re so dumb.”

“I—What is happening?”

“I’m loving you, asshole. I’m never going to let you go.”

“That’s cool, but I need to breathe.”

Remy laughed, loosening his grip on his smaller boyfriend a little bit. “I don’t think you’re in any place to be judging situations, hon.”

alright obvious spoilers not that it matters bc i have one follower lmao but !! i need somewhere to scream abt this movie

first of all i love jacob and newt so much. best parts of this movie honestly i love them and i want them to be happy 

but to be fair i actually rlly rlly enjoyed watching this movie!! like,, there are a looot of things i dont understand about it and i have no idea how they happened or why theyre happening but thats Okay i would still recommend everyone watch it! its so good!!!

good things:

- grindelwald !! i mean,, no hes not a good thing but i really liked how they wrote his character. like i can UNDERSTAND the power he has over people and how hes manipulating them. hes really not just a Voldemort 2.0 and i respect that a lot bc thats not what an entirely different villain should be like. but casting issues and all aside i really liked this

- i also liked the interaction between leta lestrange and dumbledore that was some good stuff and the actors were rlly good too !!! - i like the direction queenie is going in. i mean i dont actually of course but it seems realistic and i think its important and its good character development n stuff so hhh hope that works out later tho !! i am Suspense

- jacob walked into that movie and i was like !!!!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDD i love him so much and it was rlly nice to see him back even if i dont think it was that neat to have him lose his memory of everything that happened for significance and in this movie have everything go like WHOOMP hes back but i uhhhh loved it anyway so this is not a complaint its a good thing - i still loved newt and having a good main character makes the whole movie a better watch in general. ive seen sequels where i just Cant get attatched to the new characters but wow i didnt really have much of a problem with that here

- ive seen different opinions on this but??? what was that blood pact????? what are u doing??????????????? i cant even be coherent properly so here are the main reasons that was rlly dumb

1- w-who does that in a romantic relationship ever :o and yes jkr has literally said dumbledore n grindelwald were in LOVE HELLO feel free to correct me if im wrong on anything but if ur gonna say it u should show it,,,, Continuity Please. anyway separate issue but if u love someone youre not gonna be like “hey lets make SURE we dont fight each other ever” because youll trust that the other person?? isnt gonna fight u???!!!???? im

2- thats literally not the reason he “cannot move against grindelwald” okay like it shouldnt be. this conversation literally happens in dh and dumbledore says he was scared of facing what rlly happened when ariana died!! there was no actual physical thing stopping him!!! the only acceptable justification is that he doesnt want to face this ghosts of his past and that moment and he is SCARED okay so COME ON give dumbledore his faults! hes scared of his past and that IS the reason!!

3- wait how did grindelwald, aberforth, and albus fight if they had already entered a blood pact. like i dont think albus would aim for his own brother EVER but could he even attack grindelwald if they had a blood pact?? not sure how this works lol but who was he aiming for then??? just firing everywhere randomly without intention cause that sounds,,, significantly harder to believe and makes that scene loads messier esp if grindelwald couldnt aim for albus either so

4- the blood pact was so frickin unnecessary im sobbing. like there was the scene where its all like “oh some say you were as close as brothers” and dumbledore is like “oh we were closer than brothers...” and im like OK! the little scene in the air doesnt explicitly reveal anything either so thats ok but the closer than brothers line was rlly revealing for me. at least for like two minutes and then dumbledore looked in the mirror and saw himself making a blood pact w grindelwald. like ok is That what u meant by closer than brothers bc thats what everythings pointing to but it shouldnt be and i.............ugh

5- im honestly just kind of hhhhhhhhhhhh. i can concede that the blood pact might be significant in later films and i look forward to watching them! but. at the same time i. wish that if you were going to say dumbledore was gay it would actually be explicitly referenced in the movie, instead of dancing around that and dropping it in hints and pieces that fans of the series who know this information will understand and others can just dismiss as friendship! there were So Many good places in this movie to include this fact (altho feel free to disagree w me haha) and i think that not including this fact was honestly tiring.

- nagini...........obv this isnt a huge problem bc idk where her story will go next n it might develop n become important but as of rn, i have no idea what her role in this movie is. i wonder if her reappearance in the harry potter series will actually be of significance and if itll be explained how she will end up under servitude to voldemort bc i genuinely dont understand right now. it just seems like a cameo to draw attention in the trailer ghgdjh

- leta lestrange’s death didnt feel right or impactful and im sad . definitely a huge opinion here but it felt like a mandatory character snuff to make the movie sad and ghdsjgfh oh well :(

- little continuity issues?? dumbledore being DADA professor instead of transfiguration bc Boggarts Are Important For Foreshadowing. also how is mcgonagall an adult or actually how is she even alive and um of course the fact that this movie doesnt confirm what jkr has said about dumbledore and grindelwald beforehand. 

- im actually going to totally repeat myself bc this deserves a separate point umm why arent dumbledore and grindelwald actually shown as in love with each other as young men. its completely relevant to the movie and its not hard to put it in there instead of the bLOOD PACT (ask anyone irl ive been screaming abt the blood pact ever since i came out of that movie). anyway i know david yates said he wouldnt be including that as part of the movie as fans are aware of that aNyway but its not that hard to understand. people are asking for actual representation?? not smt vague??? because this is just here to Please People. if u refuse to see this ship, ure just gonna see them as having a friendship! maybe u havent heard about what jkr said or maybe ure choosing to ignore it bc,, idk that says smt about u, or maybe another reason idk! but if u go into this knowing they were In Love and hoping to see confirmation of dumbledore being canonically gay, youre going to hear that “oh, we were more than brothers” line and be like oh yeah we been knew, or more seriously like hey! maybe we’re getting a canon confirmation, not just floaty young people leaning towards each other! like when he looked in the mirror i was like okay This Is It this is gna be confirmation but then it wasnt oop. it was the !!! bloooood paaact !!! which means that people could interpret the “closer than brothers” line as meaning oh we done did a blood pact that means we blood related look at us go! Taehyung loves literature, has loved literature since he was a child.  He lives and breathes for the smell of books, for the feeling of paper between his fingers as his eyes skim over words, for the way his mind works as he reads, for the stories that have etched themselves onto his heart.  Taehyung could spend hours curled up in a chair with a book and a blanket, letting himself get lost in tales of adventures and heroes, in love and heartbreak, in mourning and in death.

More than that, Taehyung loves English literature.  Well, the Korean translations of them anyway.  But it doesn’t feel right to read translations: the feeling is lost, as well as the meaning sometimes, and Taehyung wants to immerse himself fully in English literature like he can in Korean literature.

He knows a few basic words, like “mom” and “dog” and “honey”, a few essential phases, like “hello” and “how are you” and “where’s the bathroom”, and knows a few ever important cuss words thanks to one Min Yoongi.  But it’s not enough.  Taehyung wants the full experience.  So, he gets himself an English tutor.

Taehyung has a notebook and multiple colored pens lying on the table in front of him, leg bouncing in a mix of excitement and nervousness.  He knows learning English isn’t going to be easy, but he really does want to learn and he hopes he conveyed that to some level.  He doesn’t want Namjoon thinking he’s not serious.

“Excuse me?  Are you perhaps… Taehyung?”

Taehyung looks up and promptly forgets how to breathe because the most beautiful dimpled smile he has ever seen is being directed at him.

Taehyung can only nod dumbly in response.

“I’m Namjoon,” he says, mouth forming around the words perfectly and Taehyung only knows he’s introducing himself because of his name.

“H-Hi,” Taehyung stutters, as Namjoon deposits himself in the chair across the table, “U-Um, I... hi.”

Namjoon laughs and Taehyung can feel his chest tightening in a pleasant but also slightly painful manner, something he hasn’t felt in a long time.

“I see you’re ready to learn,” Namjoon smiles and he’s got to cut that out or Taehyung is going to keel over from an early death, “Let me just grab a drink real quick and we can start, okay?”

“N-No!” Taehyung reaches across the table and grasps Namjoon’s warm wrist between his own, shaky fingers.  Namjoon looks appropriately startled and Taehyung blushes, “I-I mean… let me buy it for you?  I- um- as thanks, for tutoring me.”

Namjoon’s face smooths out and he smiles again and Taehyung just wants to kiss those fucking dimples, “Sure, thanks.  I’ll just take an iced americano.”

Taehyung nods and gets to his feet rather weakly.  By the time he gets back, Namjoon has pulled out a few books and some papers.

“So, tell me,” Namjoon smiles graciously as he takes the coffee from Taehyung and takes a sip, eyelashes fluttering at the taste and God help Taehyung, “How much English do you already know?”

“Next to nothing.  I think I could probably tell someone to suck my dick, though,” Taehyung shrugs, holding his cup of hot chocolate in both of his hands just to keep them preoccupied so he doesn’t do something stupid, like run his fingers down Namjoon’s face and marvel at the almost perfect proportions of it.

Namjoon chokes a little on his drink and Taehyung grins at him, “And… and why exactly, do you know how to say that?”

“Why not?” Taehyung shrugs, starting to feel the tension in his shoulders ease up.  But then Namjoon laughs and he immediately tenses back up.

“Okay, so we’ll start at the beginning.”

They spend the first hour going over the English alphabet, Namjoon writing down each letter and having Taehyung repeat the sound after him.  Then, Namjoon has Taehyung write each letter ten times, Taehyung quietly saying each one as he goes along, Namjoon smiling softly at him.  Namjoon tests his memory on what each letter is called, saying random ones and having Taehyung write them 

“Learning a language is straight rote memorization at first,” Namjoon explains, “It takes a long time to fully immerse yourself in another language and understand it almost as naturally as your native language.  You seem to understand the alphabet well, though.  You sound a little unsure sometimes, but that’s to be expected.”

Taehyung smiles bashfully and ducks his head, popping the lid off his drink to see if there’s anything left.  When he glances up from the empty cup, Namjoon is smiling back at him.

“I have a little bit of vocabulary I’d like you to learn for next time, okay?  The Korean comes first and then the English.  They’re just random words, but I want you to practice saying them out loud, to get used to how they sound.  That’s the biggest obstacle when learning another language: being comfortable actually speaking.  I know it sounds silly, but being confident speaking is the most difficult part.”

Taehyung nods excitedly, scanning over the short list of maybe fifteen or so words Namjoon has provided him.  The Korean characters are a little messy, but the English words are printed neatly, trying to be as clear as possible for Taehyung.

“Thank you so much, really,” Taehyung tells him and Namjoon grins back, dimples on full display, as he starts packing up his stuff.

“It’s no problem.  It helps me too,” Namjoon tells him, zipping up his backpack, “I want to be a teacher and tutoring is helpful.”

“Do you want to teach English?” Taehyung asks, interest piqued.

“Ah, I’m not sure yet? I’m still learning English myself, but maybe,” Namjoon smiles shyly, eyes curving into little crescents and Taehyung’s heart stutters, “So, I have work tomorrow but Monday I’m free?”

“Monday’s not good, I have a group project I need to work on, how about Tuesday?”

Namjoon thinks for a moment, nodding slowly to himself before he finally says, “Yeah, I should be able to do Tuesday.  Do you want to meet back here?”

Taehyung nods and watches as Namjoon climbs to his feet, “Great, I’ll see you Tuesday then.”

They meet up Tuesday to go over vocab and the most common English sounds, and then they meet up Friday and parrot random English phrases back and forth, and then they meet up Saturday and watch an English movie with Korean subtitles even though they talk over most of the movie.  Then they’re meeting up because Namjoon has learned that Taehyung is just as passionate about art as he is literature, and Namjoon has heard of this new art exhibit and would Taehyung like to go with him?  Taehyung can never say no to those dimples.

Namjoon is kind, and smart, and funny and clumsy and philosophical and and and.  Taehyung feels a whirlwind of emotions every time they’re together: the way Namjoon’s voice gets just a little bit higher when he speaks English, the way his eyes curve when he smiles, the way Namjoon touches his hand or his arm subconsciously when they’re close.  Taehyung really likes Namjoon.

The problem is that Taehyung doesn’t know if Namjoon likes him beyond being Taehyung’s tutor and newfound friend.  Sometimes, when they’re watching an English movie and Taehyung is focusing hard to try and understand what the actors are saying, Namjoon will slip an arm around his shoulder and lean in close to explain something.  Sometimes, when Taehyung is shakily writing some of the English vocab he’s learned, Namjoon will lay his hand over his, steadying Taehyung’s and guiding him.  Even after Taehyung has finished writing a word, Namjoon’s hand will linger and Taehyung’s breath will catch.

Sometimes, when they once again roaming one of countless art exhibits they’ve already been too, Taehyung will smile at a particular piece he likes.  He’ll let his eyes trace over the lines and soak in the colors, let himself relax into the atmosphere.  He’ll turn to Namjoon, a smile already adorning the other’s face, and he’ll ask, “Isn’t this painting beautiful hyung?”

And without looking away from Taehyung, Namjoon will breathe out, “Breathtaking.”

“Tell him,” Jimin says simply.

“Do you want my heart to give out?  Do you want me to die?” Taehyung complains dramatically, throwing himself across his best friend’s lap.

“You’re not gonna die,” Jimin rolls his eyes, threading a hand through Taehyung’s hair as Taehyung makes himself comfortable.

Taehyung kneads Jimin’s thigh like he would his pillow and it draws a laugh out of Jimin.

“I might die.  The pain of rejection might send me to an early grave.  Even if he did like me back I think I’d die of happiness and still go to an early grave.”

“You’re impossible,” Jimin smiles and Taehyung pouts up at him.

“I’m in love.”

“Then do something about it, dipshit,” Jimin pinches the tip of Taehyung’s ear and he jerks away from him.

After whining about how much that hurt (except not really), Taehyung quiets down as he thinks and Jimin continues to run his fingers through Taehyung’s hair, waiting patiently on Taehyung.

“I want to tell him… but I’m scared,” Taehyung whispers, glancing up at Jimin.

“You?  Scared? Kim Taehyung, who jumped off the roof when we were eight because he thought wearing a cape would make him fly? Kim Taehyung, who chugged an entire gallon of milk in ten seconds because someone said he couldn’t?  Kim Taehyung, who, on a dare, stood outside a stranger’s window and recited Shakespeare at them until they not only responded but also gave you their number?”

Jimin laughs as Taehyung swats at Jimin bashfully, as he buries his face in Jimin’s stomach.

“Okay, I get it,” Taehyung’s voice is muffled by the fabric of Jimin’s sweatshirt.

Jimin’s laugh smooths out into a hum, tightening his grip in Taehyung’s hair so he can turn his best friend’s head back to face him.

“What are you scared of?” Jimin asks softly.

Taehyung lets out a deep sigh and Jimin waits.  Taehyung hopes Jimin knows how incredibly appreciative Taehyung is for Jimin’s friendship; past, present, and future.

“I just…”

“You just…?”

“I don’t want us to crash and burn,” Taehyung murmurs.

“What do you mean, Tae?” Jimin asks, coaxing Taehyung along his thought process.

Taehyung thinks back to his younger years, crawling under tight covers to block out the sound of intense yelling from downstairs.  He thinks to years of staying outside for as long as he could, to try and escape the smell of alcohol that seem to permeate every memory he has of being a kid.  He thinks of broken glass and broken bones and broken promises, of watching his parents fall out of love without realizing that’s what was happening.  He thinks of Jimin comforting him, even then, when they were both ten, tears soaking shoulders without even fully grasping the magnitude of the situation.

Tears fill Taehyung’s eyes now, chest just as tight now as it used to be when he got overwhelmed.

“You know I love you right?” Taehyung manages to choke out, fingers fumbling around on the couch as he tried to find Jimin’s hand.

Jimin gives it to him easily, their fingers tangling together tightly as Taehyung brings the back of Jimin’s hand down to his mouth to kiss it.

“Of course, Taehyung,” Jimin says gently, starting to scratch at Taehyung’s scalp again, “And I love you.”

“We’ll always be soulmates, right?” Taehyung whispers, eyes squeezing shut tightly as he tries not to sob.

“Always,” Jimin murmurs, leaning down to press a kiss against Taehyung’s forehead, “Calm down Taehyung, don’t worry about Namjoon hyung for right now, okay?  Calm down, it’s okay.”

Jimin is always so patient with Taehyung, letting Taehyung curl up into a tight ball on his lap and cry about what he’s been crying about for years.  It had been hard for Taehyung to watch his parents fall apart, the two people he thought would always be destined for each other.  The divorce had taken its toll on Taehyung and Jimin knows this, had never told Taehyung no when Taehyung begged Jimin to let him sleep in his bed.

“Let it all out Tae,” Jimin says gently, “I got you, I’m here for you.  Once you’re done crying, we’ll get take out and watch some movies, okay? Your pick.”

“Can we watch a Ghibli film?” Taehyung cries, smiling to himself when Jimin grumbles as he wipes his snotty nose on his sweatshirt.

“Of course, we can watch a Ghibli film.”

“Thanks, Minie.  I love you,” Taehyung’s throat catches and he starts crying again.

Jimin laughs as he bundles Taehyung up tightly and kisses all across his exposed face, “I love you too.”

Taehyung has a plan. He and Jimin are going to meet up at the café and Taehyung’s going to run through the small, English speech Taehyung has planned, and then when Namjoon joins the two of them Jimin is going to give the excuse that Hoseok wants to meet up for dance practice and leave the two of them alone.

Taehyung has Jimin’s hands clasped tightly in his own, a serious look on his face as Jimin tries to hide his amused smile underneath a lip bite.

By English speech, he means two sentences.

“Namjoon,” he starts, glaring when Jimin’s grin widens, “I like you.  Please go out with me.”

Jimin fails to stifle his giggles and Taehyung throws his hands away in annoyance, “N-No- haha- wait I’m sorry I can be serious, I’m sorry, let’s do it again, give me your hands.”

“I feel like you’re making fun of me,” Taehyung pouts and Jimin starts laughing again.

“I’m not!  You’re just so cute Taehyungie!” Jimin coos, leaning over to pinch Taehyung’s cheek, “Don’t look so stiff, you’re asking the guy out, not asking him to take kill someone.”

Taehyung releases a nervous break and retakes Jimin’s hand, smiling slightly when Jimin squeezes his in support.

“Say it again,” Jimin encourages, eyes twinkling as his gaze flickers over Taehyung’s shoulder for just a moment, “I promise I won’t laugh this time.”

Taehyung closes his eyes to take a deep breath and when he opens them he sees that Jimin has adopted a serious look, though he’s still smiling softly at Taehyung.

“Namjoon,” Taehyung starts, feeling his heart kickstart and his hands shake in Jimin’s, “I like you. Please go out with me.”

Taehyung’s not even confessing to Namjoon yet and he already feels like he’s going to be sick, what’s he going to do when he actually confesses?

A higher power sorts that out for Taehyung, because Jimin breaks into a face splitting grin as Taehyung freezes up when he hears, “You like me?”

Taehyung doesn’t want to turn around.  Taehyung can’t turn around.

Taehyung turns around to see Namjoon standing behind him, head tilted a little in confusion but the most adorable and hopeful look on his face.  Taehyung promptly forgets every language he’s learned and stares blankly at Namjoon.

Namjoon walks around to the other side of Taehyung and sits across from him, in the seat Jimin has abandoned as he very obviously sits a few tables away to watch the spectacle.

The café is bustling around them, as the pair stare unwaveringly at each other.  Taehyung’s mouth is dry, despite the fact that he just downed a frappuccino, and his hands are shaking slightly in his lap, but he doesn’t look away from Namjoon.  Namjoon, who smiles softly at Taehyung and lays one easy hand on the table between them, palm up in offering.

“I like you too,” Namjoon says, fingers wiggling teasingly at Taehyung, “Don’t look so shocked.”

Taehyung tries to control his facial features, but it’s near impossible when Namjoon is looking at him like that, eyes content and trusting.  Taehyung blinks wet eyes and Namjoon’s eyes soften even further, which Taehyung didn’t think was impossible.

“It’s okay Taehyung,” Namjoon says and Taehyung is positive Namjoon doesn’t know why Taehyung is like this, but that Namjoon will always understand him.

Taehyung nods and takes in a deep breath before he slowly slides his shaky hand into Namjoon’s strong and steady one, whose fingers wrap tightly around Taehyung’s.  Taehyung stares down at their conjoined hands for a few seconds, breathing in as he tries to calm his heartbeat because he can’t think over the sound of his blood pumping and rushing.

“We can go as slow as you need, okay?” Namjoon says and Taehyung glances up at him between wet eyelashes, “We have all the time in the world.”

Taehyung nods, “O-Okay.”

Namjoon smiles at him, a full-bodied smile as he turns his head away for just a brief second to cover his mouth with his unoccupied hand.

“Sorry I just.  You’re so cute.  Look how pink your cheeks are.”

Taehyung lets himself relax, even though he sinks into his seat a little when he feels a wave of embarrassment wash over him.

Namjoon turns back to him, but he still has a big, toothy grin on his face.  He lets go of Taehyung’s hand and Taehyung has a moment of panic, fear surging through his body as his fingers curl into nothing, but Namjoon is only switching hands so he can use the one closet to his bag to rummage through it.

“I brought some books today. They’re kid’s books, so they should be easy to read and-”

Taehyung squeezes Namjoon’s hand and Namjoon glances up.

“Namjoon,” Taehyung says, voice weak, and Namjoon raises an eyebrow, “I like you.  Please go out with me.”

Namjoon laughs lightly, but his voice is fond as he says, “Yes.”

Taehyung breathes out heavily through his nose as he nods, the relief evident on his face.

“Let’s try and get through at least two books and then we can go out for dinner after, sound good?” Namjoon asks.

“Sounds great,” Taehyung smiles.

A few tables back, Jimin is miming cheering and shooting Taehyung thumbs up, causing quite a spectacle and Taehyung’s grin widens.

Namjoon gently brings Taehyung’s focus back to him, tugging on the hand that’s still grasped firmly within his own and sliding the book across the table to him.

Taehyung keeps eye contact with Namjoon as he reads, “Once upon a time, a prince fell in love with a prince…”

Namjoon’s smile is blinding as he raises Taehyung’s hand to his mouth to kiss it.

7. favorite season: here in the Philippines, we only have rainy and sunny seasons. i prefer the rainy season though!
